Not near enough outlets in the rooms… Also Google doesn't have this place right on maps!

My mother, my husband, and I were in town for a few days to attend my dad's funeral. We had family we could stay with, but they were farther than the Brookshire. We decided that the exterior seemed decent, and the rates were affordable so we booked. There were smoking and non-smoking rooms, so us smokers felt welcome too. Upon entering the hotel, we immediately knew we had made the right decision. The interior was gorgeous, and the rooms were pretty modern. Everything seemed fairly clean, and we felt safe. The hotel staff were phenomenal, and so friendly. We enjoyed having some friendly faces amongst such troubling times. They even extended our checkout time by a couple hours for no extra charge, because they knew we had been at the visitation all night and needed a few more hours to prepare for the funeral. The one qualm that we had was the water temperature. When we tried to shower, the water wouldn't get hot. We allowed it to run for several minutes (about 5), thinking that maybe it would heat up, to no avail. The temperature reminded me of the warmth of a newborn's bottle, or what it should be. My husband showered first, and his shower was cut short after about 5 minutes as it got ice cold. My mother and I were unable to shower because it took quite some time for it to heat up, and we were in a time restraint. We asked our cousins, who had a room down the hall, if their water was hot. It was not, so the temperature wasn't just off in our room.

Always clean and comfortable. We still here everything we visit family in Kentucky. The rods are cheap and there stay is polite. They provide but amenities but do it well and consistently. It's always pretty quiet in the hotel too, which is nice after driving 5 his from Ohio. I'm always ready to take a nice bath or shower and the bathrooms are nice and clean white.

They re very adorable they make their guests feeling like our home, they have a great service I’m with my family enjoy our stay we feeling warm finally I’m recommend this place nice and friendly.

Very clean, new, friendly! Good location. Easy to find from one direction, hard from the other. Price very fair.

Huge rooms, clean, comfortable bed! Breakfast is getting there but they do have it. Over all, it's a great place to stay. You can get smoking or non smoking rooms. People are super sweet.

Not alot of choices in area. Room smelled like smoke. Nice people who run it.

This place really needs some renovations on their rooms. Breakfast includes a wrapped doughnut and hot coffee.

In such a small town, it is definitely the best option. Nice rates, standard room.

Thelma was excellent manager and was very accomodating. The rooms are very nice and clean. The Continental breakfast was also good and the lobby was clean. If you are in this area of the country, this is a great place to stay.
