Pam our greeeter was the most pleasant person. Room was great, the air conditioning worked really well.

Marginal breakfast, room was fine, no elevator, outside entrance, noisy bathroom exhaust fan, bed was firm, room was clean.

Nice place. Slept good and was clean.

Super nice an staff is friendly rooms are nice, pool was nice grills were good too. I would fully stay there again. Loved it we had a great time.

I want to express my sincere thanks for the amazing service I received during my stay. Deshae was the most helpful person, and was so caring about the safety of my family during a potentially serious weather event. Her caring, professional and positive attitude was amazing. She is a beacon for this facility and other employees should emulate her work ethic. I will always use this facility when in this area and would recommend this facility ensure they keep her. She is a true asset.

Originally I had given them a great review, however, now I see I was charged an extra $165 for 1 night stay because they claim my dogs left a mess which I know for a fact they didnt because I took my dogs outside as well as kenneled them in my room. I feel I am unfairly charged a supposed cleaning fee. In response to the owners review below since I dont see how to respond, the desk person knew we had 4 dogs when we checked in. We got there late at night, let the dogs out walking around, then we kennelled them for the night. We woke up the next morning and left. My dogs were never once loose in the room other than when we brought them back in. I know for a fact there was no messes and I even asked for proof that my dogs made a mess and was told you guys dont have to show proof, I am just to take your word. I cannot believe you can just charge people unknowingly and not have to show any evidence. I walked around the room just to be sure that I didnt leave a sock behind. I am pretty sure I would have seen a mess. Once again. Your staff knew we had a chihuahua, pug, husky mix and a puppy when we checked in. I stand by my review and feel you are very unprofessional in the extra charges that just show up in my bank account. I will never stay at your place ever again. And I used to be a big fan of days inn, now other hotels get my business. We would have gotten 2 rooms but your staff put us in one and never said anything about a limit. Look at your cameras.

Don't stop here. There were still someone elses groceries left in the mini fridge and these rooms need the owners to show some pride and do some repainting and cleanliness was an issue. Drive past this one.

Rooms were clean and appeared to be newly remodeled. The staff were friendly and polite. The food and coffee however we're abismal. Overall not a bad place to stay but DONT eat the food.

For a cheap hotel, it's decent. Breakfast was nice, had a great variety. The desk staff were pleasant at all times. I wish the website or person on the phone when we initially booked, was more clear about your PET POLICY. We are traveling across the country for our job and the front desk mentioned the weight limit at check in, but thankfully our dog was so close to the limit she let us stay anyway. The room was very neat. You could use a new middle blanket (the soft fuzzy one) it seemed a little over used. Other than that we were pretty happy with our stay.

Roaches in room, a/c didn't work, had to change rooms, no management on duty to communicate — although staff that was there was helpful as they could be, pool water was not clear and full of algae. Very disappointed. We booked a room at this hotel because it was stated that we could obtain a special on a nearby attraction for staying at this particular hotel and when we arrived, the staff had no idea of the promotion. Again, the staff was very helpful in helping us try to figure out this problem, but we were still unable to get the promotion. The unavailability of lodging anywhere else nearby left us no option but to keep our reservation at this location. Very disappointed in the experience as we were hoping for a great little weekend get away with our children and had these unpleasant discrepancies.

Smell in the room was discussing! Strong Cigarette smell with air fresh spray. It was awful! I couldn't breathe. Burned holes on the blanket and the sheets was dirty. Bath tub has not been cleaned. Wi-fi did not work at all. I enjoyed this place.

The rooms were very well kept and clean. The front desk lady was super nice and the rate was way below what we expected to pay. I'm glad we stopped!

Clean, comfortable room for a quick layover taking the kids to Orlando. Reasonable price. Kentucky still allows for smoking rooms, and although we had a non-smoking room, the odor still lingered. But it wouldn't stop us from staying again.

We were just passing through and a nice young man named Landon checked us in. He was very professional and polite. The room was immaculately clean and we had zero issues whatsoever. People who are complaining about things such as the bathroom being dated should probably stay at a $200 per night hotel, as this was by far the most updated and clean budget hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was a wide selection and Jenn even changed the channel to cartoons for my toddlers. The staff was outstanding. If you're looking for a quiet, clean place to stay with friendly staff, this is your best bet. We will be back again.

Ants and Filth with horrible customer service! My wife and I were in town for a wedding that I was in. Turned into a horrible experience. The second morning our room became infested with ants. Literally our sink was covered, you could only see a few speckles of the white sink. The floor, walls, and tissue dispenser was just covered with them. Lady from the front desk comes down with a can of Raid Ant killer and says "Wow! they are bad in this one" and continues to spray a half of can of poison in our room with all our stuff in there. We asked for a refund for the second night, the only employee we ever saw there working the front desk (beside the one maid) said she cannot do anything because the manager is out of town until Monday (on memorial day weekend). Offers us a smoking room or a double bed room, because all king beds were booked. We said no, we just wanted a refund for the second night. We refused to move because she told us ants were everywhere, because of the rain from two days ago?!?!? The comforter has burn holes and smelled of smoke (non-smoking room). The pillows were all different types/brands and a couple had yellow/brown stains on each end. The tub was filthy. Before the ant infestation we were woke up by a "maid" banging cleaning equipment on a brick post right outside of our door, this was at 7:30 am. We will never stay in a Days Inn after that experience!

The staff was incredibly kind and made us feel very welcomed when we arrived. Only complaint was that the morning breakfast wasn't very good, but was good enough to keep us filled up before we hit the road.

Dirty, mold smelling, over priced Indian motel! There is a BIG difference between an American owned and an Indian owned motel. The ice machine smells of mold. A friend stayed in a room on bottom floor close to office (on the side facing the other Indian motel Super 8). Friend will not be back after sleeping on a bed bug infested bed.

Overall good hotel for the price and location. Has boat hook ups outside, was fishing Ky lake for the weekend and was able to get 2 rooms at the last minute during July 4th weekend. And the Belgian waffles were good for a free breakfast.

Room was disgusting, hair in tub and sink, dirty mirror, even someones old food in the fridge. Pillows were flat and the cover on bed had burn holes and smelled of smoke. (In non smoking room) luckly I only had to stay the night. Not that it mattered to me but the breakfast they offer is a selection of activia yogurt or a frozen egg you have to microwave. I complained to the front desk the next morning about the room seemed like they were not too concerned about it, like it happens often. I will not be back. This MOTEL gives all other days inn a bad name.

Cant believe this place doesnt rate higher nor can I believe the bad reviews. Our stay was very comfortable and our room was very clean and fresh smelling. For once I wasnt afraid to sit on the bed or walk on the floor. You could see that the room was clean.

I have never not tipped, or have I written a bad review, but I thought it was necessary as a small company owner to warn people and save them a bad experience! the lady that was at the desk at check in was quite friendly, and nice. She was new. The room had a. Rock for a bed sand bags for pillows, and if you enjoy the smell of orange cleaner masking mold it would have been great. Hands down the nastiest place I have ever spent the night. I canceled the next two nights there, and checked in next store at super eight. I ask to see the room first and the took us up. Good bed and was not smacked in the face with the burn of mold in my nose, and by the way the clerks looked at each other at supper 8, we were not the first to say how bad there neighbor was. I dont like bad talking a place, but people need to be told the truth about days inn oh did I mention that they were also refusing to refund one if the nights we were not staying there sad that the health department has not shut them down.

I would give this hotel a 1/2 star rating. The room smelled very bad and was dirty. I killed over 10 Roachs in the room. The pillows were flat and it took 4 to raise my head to a comfortable position and the beds were like sleeping on the floor. The bathroom was very dirty and stained. Towels were so thin you could read the paper through them! The only reason I stayed there was I was at a conference in the area and they got the room. Next time I'll leave. If you stay there ask them to pay YOU! Don't do it. I will say the front desk people were nice and just bowed their heads when you complained. They knew.

We rented two rooms for $71.95 each 10/23/2010. The staff person was helpful. Both rooms smelled very bad, I had the door open for the first few hours. The rooms were super dirty, the tub had scum in it, the linen was stained so badly that we slept on top of the blankets and used our own pillows and quilt. The bed had no support left and you could hear the metal springs in it when every there was movement. The over all condition of this motel was that it was once a nice place. It's well passed time to burn the beds, towels, carpets and linen in the parking lot and refit it with new. It was pure exhaustion and the super 8 was full next door that made us stay.

I stay here often when I work at Calvert City. Easy access to the lakes, restaurants close, shopping within 7 miles. Always clean, staff friendly, good internet, price is right.
