I liked the hotel itself, historic with modern updates and being close to everything. It can get a little loud if your room is in the front of hotel from the firepit area and late arrivals.

It was a lovely historic hotel and the front desk staff was always so friendly. Too bad the Hilton bought it, closed it and fired all of the wonderful staff.

One of my top 5 restaurants I've ever eaten in. From the house wine to the entree to the service (thanks Pagent). If you ever get to Lexington make a reservation you will not be disappointed.

Lovely setting and appointments, generally well-prepared food in the restaurant. Rooms are a little small but very comfortable. Great location for people visiting the university or downtown locations.

It's not a luxury hotel. It's average quality at luxury prices. Rooms ok, washrooms sub-par, TV didn't work, door locks don't work properly either.

Beautiful early turn of the century hotel but with modern amenities. Stepping in to the lobby area takes you back in time with the decor. There is a very nice restaurant inside with great food and cocktails.

The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Although the air conditioning was set way too high.

Quiet boutique hotel in a restored historical building right in the center of Lexington. Excellent bourbon bar and good night's sleep.

Gratz Park Inn is a lovely boutique hotel. Stayed there for a wedding and wish I could have stayed another night. Stayed in the Bluegrass Suite (room 311) which was a beautiful room, incredibly comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a delicious brunch in the restaurant. I don't know Lexington that well but it was only a 5 minute walk to another local restaurant. I'm looking for an excuse to return :)

The description online is not at all what the hotel is. The only thing they have to offer is a rather good restaurant that is inside the hotel. The rooms and the hotel overall are not maintained. Even though it is a historic hotel, I do not believe that is a reason to completely let things go. The bathrooms are pretty bad. We had four rooms reserved for our family and all four rooms were gross. The bathroom in our room had very large patches of mold from leaks that reached across nearly the whole ceiling above the shower and paint was coming off in sheets. The toilet seats in all the rooms were broken in some way. Either peeling off the sides and tops, terribly old, stained, discolored or just plain broken. The shower heads and faucets were separated from the wall, broken The tub in our room was peeling. Layers of the tub had come off in several areas. The faucet to the tub had a leak for so long that the base of the tub had a green and red rust stain at the bottom near the drain. The leak was still going on while there. We paid what we pay at other real 5 star resorts per night and it was horribly overpriced for the serious disrepair the hotel is in It put a serious damper on our trip. It was for our parents 40th anniversary and it was a let down to say the least. The woman at the front desk, Veronica, was terribly rude and very hard to deal with. The gentleman that worked the desk at night was also very rude and was inconvenienced by you asking for help.

We are enjoying our stay at the Gratz Park Inn. The room is very nice. The breakfast was good. It's a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Very cozy feeling, comfortable with plenty of amenities. The attached restaraunt is excellent as well.

Beautiful older hotel near Transylvania University. Good restaurant and bar. Doors slam loudly.

I spent 12 hours here and it was the most miserable time I ever had at a hotel. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and felt as if it would give way; the central air in my room was shut off and it was hot and sticky inside. You cant open the windows either. Definitely NOT worth the money spent. Its all for looks and the dining, not good for actual sleeping.

Gratz Park Inn is a lovely hotel with a lovely restaurant. I would absolutely stay there again on another trip to Lexington. My room was great and had a cool, antique-style bed.

The Gratz Park is our families favorite place in Lexington to stay! Great location to all Lexington has to offer! The staff go over and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect each and every time!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Gratz Park Inn. The beds are amazing. The Inn has a very charming, cozy feel, and the food downstairs was great. We will definitely be staying there again.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff, delicious complimentary cookies and an overall excellent stay. The bed was plush and delicious! The rooms were top notch and absolutely wonderful. Such a charming place to stay. I will stay again and again.

My husband comes to Kentucky several times a year for the horse sales, and this time I tagged along. We decided to stay at the Gratz Park Inn, so I would be close to downtown while he was out at Fasig-Tipton. Holy smokes! The hammering, sawing, and drilling began at 6:30 AM every morning! Seriously? Can you not wait until 8 am to begin your daily renovations? Unless you are an early riser DO NOT STAY HERE until the hotel's renovations are complete. Insanity.

The saving grace was the amazing bed. Beyond that, the tub was in bad shape, the furniture was cheaply put together and every drawer opened fell apart. I was afraid the television would fall on me (I caught the slip just in time! ). The only service available was breakfast, which was comped when the bagel served to me was covered in blue-green mold. It would have been a bad stay at $30 — — but it was a miserable stay at $200.
