Great staff & convenient to Rupp. However, for the price, I expect a pristine room and not broken glass all along the edge of the bed. My 15 year old could’ve sliced her foot. Beer cap in the floor. $300+ should’ve never included these things.

Worst service ever and room. Toilets barley worked for 2 days. Bathroom door doesn't stay closed. Never stay here again. They never came up to clean room out of the 3 days we were here. To bad we are still here and had another night booked. Would have left.

Total dump. And don’t even ask for maid service or clean towels. They will tell you not an option. The bar and reataurant are barely ever open. Go stay at the Hilton across the street.

I don't recommend anything about this hotel. It was unclean, pedway is closed, bar closes very early, elevators don't work well, duck taped headboard, taped walls on the main floor, ripped carpet. Worst place we have ever stayed, and the staff wasn't very nice either.

This hotel is not clean. We changed rooms twice and still had to clean the bathtub before we could use it. We asked multiple times for non-feather pillows, they kept giving us more feather pillows. The staff we interacted with were great! But this hotel definitely does not meet typical Hyatt Standards!

Looks like a very nice hotel on the outside BUT was in two different rooms and the a/c didn't work in either one, even after maintenance fixed it, toilet seat broke off while using the toilet, broken shower door handles, etc…

My family of three since my daughter was four has stayed at the Hyatt downtown the week of Christmas for our tradition of swimming, ice-skating, and downtown pizza. The staff has always been kind, and it’s a quiet, family friendly experience. One year complimentary cookies and milk were sent to our room.

We loved the housekeeping and the front counter staff. The bar/restaurant was AWFUL! We told waitstaff several times about a bird jumping up and eating off the spoons on the buffet it took three times before someone would bring clean utensils. When the bird did it again we again told someone and she said oh well it's just a bird. No it's not just a bird it Carrie's diseases and it is not within food health codes not to clean an area that a bird is jumping and eating. We had to remove the spoons to keep other guests from potential harm from a bird walking on the spoons. Please educate staff of the health codes. I will never eat there again
if they allow a bird to do this what other health codes are being ignored.

Stayed for a kentucky football game. They have a bus that leaves for the field right out front for 1$. Suoer convenient. The rooms were clean and the amenities were abundant. The rooms view was excellent, as I suggest you request a view of the square. We had no problems with valet, early check in, or house keeping. Woke up late for breakfast but it sounded delicious. Would stay again, maybe not during a country music festival.

The hotel was extremely clean and check-in was a breeze. We were in our room in about 5 minutes. The room was modern, clean, and spacious. We even received a bottle of wine as gesture of our loyalty and since it was a rare getaway for us. The only things keeping us from giving it a 5 star rating were the shower water pressure and the AC. Since we were staying one night only we didn't bring up the shower water pressure. The AC was fine while awake yet when we went to bed we turned it way down, like we do at home. Unfortunately, we woke up several times throughout the night as it never got cooler than the temp we saw before bed. It wasn't hot as much as it wasn't cool enough to use the covers of the bed which we prefer.

Attended for a conference on August 8-12, 2018. Overall, I was happy with just about everything other than the continental breakfast (which seemed to be basically just a couple of fruit bowls and pastries when I went). The rooms were kept up well, the view was great, and the staff were really nice and receptive to our needs.

Good place to stay in Lexington downtown. The breakfast is pretty good and filling. Overall the rooms are cleans and service is great (as expected from any Hyatt). Friendly staff at receptionist kiosk.

Not a great place. Multi-million dollar hotel with ONLY one microwave located in there restaurant. Bottle water is $4.00 a pop! (Gotta find clever ways to pay for this monster-expensive hotel) They hang the towels in the shower (yuck). There is a mini fridge in the room but no freezer portion of the fridge. Fancy fancy, but lack some of the basic accommodations.

Very nice friendly manager in restaurant make you feel welcome and warm deshaw Henderson make me want to come back again.

Good place to spend some nights. They also have a small gym and swimming pool but no pool table. Also breakfast is not complementary.

Great stay. The restaurant is great. The workers are friendly and very helpful. Best hamburgers and fries I have had.

In for Lexington Comic and Toy Convention this weekend. Room is fine but have to say service in the restaurant is horrible. Been in there 3 times so far. Afternoon, the service inattentive and slow. I had to go to the bar and ask for a refill. Later in the evening, I had to ask multiple times for a refill of water. Breakfast was nuts and the buffet had half the items missing each time I went. My wife stood in line for a good 20-30 minutes for an omelet. And couldn't get it made. For the price, it was terrible. The restaurant seemed terribly unpreprared and understaffed. Truly makes me think twice about coming back. A real downer on an otherwise great weekend.

My room was never cleaned. We stayed Wednesday and Thursday night. I was gone from 7:30 am then can back for lunch for about an hour around 12. Then was gone from 1-8. Never got room cleaned. We even asked the cleaning lady to make sure we got our room cleaned as we had towels food service dishes and trash in room for 2 days. She was right next door to us when we left and I looked over at her and gave a smile. She did not smile back and gave me a dirty look. She never said hi or can I get you anything. She never did anything to our room. It was only after repeated calls and complains that she finally came in on Thursday night. Tucked the comforter in barely, left trash and everything. Never cleaned sink, threw my blanket in the bed, only thing she did when she finally came in in Thursday night was she did give us new towels. Did not give us any shampoo soap or conditioners. Worst experience of a hotel I have EVER experienced. I have stayed many tines at a Hyatt. I can not believe that they hired someone so disrespectful angry and lazy. On top of that the person I charge of house keeping should not be continued on staff as we had called to complain and never once did anything. I am going to recommend that we have our conference in Louisville. We had the worst experience and with having as many people staying there for a conference you would expect that the hotel staff would make EVERY effort to accommodate their guests.

While I have never stayed at the hotel, I did attend a social event in the Patterson Ballroom. It was very nice and had plenty of room compared to where we had had the event in years past. The staff was courteous, the tables looked nice, and everything went well. I would just caution trying to have an event there the same night something big is happening at Rupp arena, because parking will be an issue.

Hotel is attached to the Rupp arena which makes it super convenient, just keep in mind that the elevators may get swamped after an event. Level B has access to some fast food if your looking for a really quick bit. Of course there's the hotel bar, or any of the local establishments right downtown. Biggest thing neat feature to me was the auto temp shower controls, set your ideal temp and turn the water on and it's there. Wife didn't think it got hot enough though. The down side was house keeping, the under side of the toilet seat wasn't completely clean. And the top cover of the bed I accidentally spilled takeout on and it took 2 days till house keeping changed it.

Nice place and good people. But, when it is not highly occupied it took over five minutes for the hot water to reach the ninth floor. Plus there is nobody at valet parking after 11:00 pm so we had to park it ourselves. Room service breakfast was fast and good. Would have been five starts except for the water and parking.

In short, room was clean and nice. Staff was pleasant. Bed was a bit "sinky" for lack of another word. The kicker for myself was the lack of continental breakfast and the ridiculous $4 price on a bottle of water in the room. At that point I looked at the menu for breakfast and realized I'd have to take out a small loan to justify anything past coffee (almost $8 for a small 4cup brew). For a slightly higher dollar hotel, I don't expect a free breakfast, but I don't want to feel like you're going to charge me for using the soap either.

Thanksgiving dinner was not worth the money. We got the last of the reservations but we're assured there would be plenty of food. They ran out of shrimp when we got there, the few oysters that were left were very salty and couldn't eat them, Turkey was dry, Brussels sprouts were raw. Made my own turkey and fixings today (Friday) … So much better. Maybe I need to give some pointers to their chef!

Perfect place to stay after a UK ballgame at Rupp Arena. Hotel staff was very friendly. No complaints about the room. And the food was great! We will definitely be back!

As a travel industry professional I've come to know quite a few hotels in my day. That being said I sincerely enjoy my time at the Hyatt whenever I'm there! The rooms are super comfortable and the staff is always friendly. You really can't beat the location because it's walking distance to anything you would ever want downtown. I've stayed there often enough to know it's not just luck and that this is a truly legitimate operation in comparison to many of the others I've been to. I look forward to the next time I'm there!

I actually stayed at home2 by Hilton which was great. I only attended event at Hyatt regency. It seems to be a nice hotel. Food was good.

Extremely dissapointed. Always stay at Hyatt's as service is excellent and beds are comfortable. Traveling for business and not being able to receive a clear room makes your stay unpleasant. My room was dirty (chip crimps on the floor, toilet paper next to the duvet on my bed, sauce jar in the floor, bathroom unclean, dust everywhere). Arriving at 730 pm on a weekday, was told no one was available to clean my room at that time. Coffee filter was never changed during my stay, I had to dispose of everyday. Food I ordered in the room was never taken away, I had to call so they remove it. I ordered potato chips and were not edible as they look they've been cooked in very old oil. 3 nights in, everyday same experience. Such a shame when Hyatt is always my first option.

Always nice to stay at this Hyatt. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and great location. The gym and pool are quite nice and the amenities are great as well. In room fridge, coffee tea and other items you can request free of charge.

The hotel was located next door to Rupp Arena. I was there for a few days for a 2 day work training. The hotel rooms were nice and clean. A wonderful stay.

This is the perfect location if your are attending any Rupp Arena Event. Check in was a breeze you can park your own car for free or choose the valet service for additional fee. The room was really clean and neatly laid out. The view from my room on the 7th floor was nice. It has shopping and dining. Check out was a breeze and the housekeeper on my way out even told me to have a great day. A+ staff!

Very modern hotel, with large, clean room, and a great bar/dining area with plenty of televisions to catch a game! Very friendly staff and an available, express room service after midnight. Would recommend.

Recently staying with this Hyatt location I was not impressed at all. After booking a few weeks in advance paying a premium price, near $400 for 1 nights stay, I was expecting something different. The assigned room was not anything requested. The toilet ran all night, absolutely not a great comfortable bed, the reason for choosing this location was being close to a college sporting event we had attended. I would think once you basically raped me on the 1 nights stay, I would be able to get a 2 mile ride one way from your shuttle, but no! I would think after being raped I would be able to get a simple continental breakfast for free, but no! Just so your aware Hyatt, your much less expensive competition offers at the very least a continental breakfast to they're guest. I'm positive you could care less now that you've got my money! I travel quite a bit, but GUARANTEE I WON'T BE BACK! THANKS, keep up your great polices!

The entire location is very nice looking. Clean, and well maintained. Easily able to accommodate the 400 people attending our conference. Not sure if it was an off day but the meal we had at the location was not good. The potatoes were undercooked and the chicken was dry. The servers also didnt seem like they wanted to be there. I would say that is the only bad experience I had my whole time there.

Extremely friendly and kind service. Parking lot is outside. Staff did comp the parking few. Something to consider if you like covered spaces. Location is great for downtown area and adjacent to Rupp Arena. Room is modern kept up, clean. The lobby bar stayed open until 11 pm which seems early for a Saturday night. Eateries and bars nearby provide options for entertainment. Price of room was reasonable.

The Hyatt was very clean and tidy. The staff were prompt with any help and the reservation was for a single king size bed. This request was met and there was positive communication regarding check in and room readiness via email.

I really wanted to love this Hyatt. The employees go above and beyond but sadly they can't fix everything. Very loud with sirens and cars racing. Zero sleep.

Rooms were clean and staff was nice. Location was nice as we had access to many shops and restaurants in a very short drive or in walking distance. Tad pricey for the quality of the room, but nice nonthelesss.

For the money,,, The rooms are small, dated and dusty! The restaurant was nice but I expected better. My food was not good nor did it all come out, I had to ask for part of it and when it came it wasn't right. The people there were nice. Won't be staying again!

Our service was great! The staff was always attentive! The bar was nice, but kind of slow later in the evening. And its within walking distance to everything!

Nice setup over all, but they seriously need to figure out some way to soundproof the rooms… I could hear absolutely everything going on around me all night — including the drunk woman two doors down who was returning her rented libations to the porcelain king.

My stay here has been amazing! The staff is super helpful and friendly, the location is perfect for experiencing downtown Lexington. The rooms are modern with the best showers ever. I would recommend this place for anyone coming to Lexington!

Edit May 2016 Another great stay and looking forward to my next trip to downtown LEX… Best location in downtown Lexington with many good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Rupp Arena and the Convention Center are connected to the hotel and there is also a small two floor mall in the lowest levels. Great staff, nice rooms and perks for HGP members. The self parking is FREE and the parking lot is just across the street (very short walk) from the valet area on High Street and is shared with Rupp Arena/Convention Center.

This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Why you would put a family with two young children in a room overlooking the bar, I have no idea. The restaurant was terrible. We waited 20 minutes for a table, then another 10 before we even had a menu to read. The menu we were given, in no way resembles what they have on their website. It took forever to get our food and our appetizer and entrees all came out together. My husbands beer was in a plastic cup…
We decided to treat the kids to room service dessert. Shouldn't have bothered. 40 min wait for chocolate cake that was missing the toppings listed, and blackberry cobbler that was missing the ice team. They also forgot our flatware which resulted in an additional 20 min wait as he forgot what room we were in. Not worth the money at all.

I was in town for a friend's wedding recently and was fortunate enough to pick a room from this beautiful hotel. My room was comfortable and had an excellent view of the city. I always enjoy my visits to Lexington and this made it all the better. Room Service was top notch. I'd definitely recommend a room here if you're coming to town.
