Very spacious king room. Clean and smelled nice. Good, hot breakfast. Easy off/on I-70.

They allow cats which we needed. Room was clean good appliances. Clogged the toilet but was able to fix it. Price was a little steep even without a cat fee. But overall good experience.

Clean rooms, nice amenities, fair price, and friendly service. Came from Indiana to drive to Colorado, and passed through Topeka. I also left my white beats in the hotel room. I called the front desk, and they promptly found it. Very good experience!

Room, lobby, dining & reception area were all clean. Service was fast and breakfast was tasty. Reception only has a card swiper — no chip reader, so my first card wouldn't go through. Time to update the card reader!

Our stay has been nice, room is clean, they have breakfast available which is good. Our room is near the hwy so some noise. We would stay here again. Great pool and spa. Staff is nice and helpful.

Didn't seem very clean. I did not feel comfortable staying here. I slept in my sleeping bag but got hot and I believe I got a big bite on my wrist. I stayed here for a business trip.

Paid cash daily and was then double charged on my bank card at the end of a week … a card they had to have on file. Had receipts from everyday and an itemized receipt from end of the week paying cash and still charged my card saying telling me they were fake receipt. After paying 97.98 a day for 7days they charged my card 133.00 a night with all kinds of extra fees like a transient tax, a guest tax. Owners could barely speak English Good luck if you need something I stood at the counter for over 20minutes and never seen a staff member, left and came back when I first checked in Careful using your credit or debit card with these shady people.

In a nice area. The rooms are dimly lit and the weight room has no weights. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff is friendly.

If you are in Topeka this hotel will be the best choice that you can make the staff was more than friendly they always had cookies out for the guest and the morning breakfast that they serve was absolutely delicious and I stayed there for over 4 days and I have to say every morning they would put out a new breakfast and each one was splendid also the beds were so soft and the beds are so so soft as well as the comforters also the staff is very friendly and very helpful and if you need anything all you have to do is ask if anyone goes to Topeka I would definitely recommend this hotel also the manager was really really nice and accommodating I will definitely visit this hotel whenever I go on a trip again.

Cosy place with helpful staff. Great breakfast, hot water, nice size pool and hot tub, and workout room. This place is kid friendly and has a homie feel.

The room is very dated and doesn’t seem clean. We were willing to over look that but the sink and tub didn’t drain at all. So we couldn’t brush our teeth in the sink and could only shower for about a minute before it filled up like I was taking a bath.

Very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms. A bit small for suites but very nice. Staff were very helpful to our needs.

Hotel was decent. Conference room area was smaller than I expected but we made it work. Staff were great.

Room was nice and roomy. In room coffee maker, large TV, desk and a couch. Bed was a little soft but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, they still have the fresh waffles (I love them) that most hotels have stopped providing. Price was excellent and hotel is near lots of restaurants and shops with ready interstate access.

The good: beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and fairly modern. The not so good. Heat could never be adjusted properly. Room was consistently hot and ended up having to turn the AC on even though outside the temperature was 20 degrees or below the entire time. No water pressure in the shower, unless you wanted a cold shower, otherwise it was a little more than a trickle coming from the shower head. We could definitely here the people above us walking. The Wi-Fi seemed non existent. I could get connected, my signal strength showed excellent, however I could never actually get a website to load, leaving me to use the hotspot on my phone. Lastly, one ply toilet paper isn't cool. I expect it from a gas station bathroom, but not a hotel. Overall the hotel isn't bad, but not sure I'd choose this one again.

The service is nice. The room is clean. Breakfast is satisfactory.

Our check in was easy and Regina was very friendly. Regina made me feel at home and very comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

This was the dirtist room we have ever stayed at. The carpet was so dirty with stains, dead bugs food a large Cooper wire you name it. The bedding was also very stained. The bathroom was not clean either. Also had dead bugs. Would of went to a different hotel if it was not so late and we we're so tired from driving 17 hours and was not feeling well. The person at the desk did not seem to care when I told him about it.

Large, clean rooms. Front desk was very nice when I checked in. Fresh coffee and a sweet treat COOKIES. Travel a lot and sometimes the hotel don't have fresh coffee and fresh cookie. But ok really clean.

Painless checkin, quiet. Clientele was families of all races and ages. Breakfast was hot eggs, potatoes, waffles, yogurt etc. Ample parking. Burger King next door. Also a hooters! Stayed at this hotel mid journey cross country drive. Would recommend.

Ambience makes one feel comfortable. Stairway at entrance makes one feel at home — like just going upstairs. Kid friendly. Indoor pool. Offers breakfast. Beds are firm with clean linens. Pillows are small and need updating. Bathrooms are clean with no chipped or broken tiles, etc. Staff are professional.

Great hotel. Right off 70/470 with lots of restaurants nearby. Pool and hot tub was great after a long day on the road. Room was big and beds were comfortable. Lots of choices for the free breakfast. Only issue — fire alarm went off twice at three in the morning which wasn't their fault, but a little annoying. Nice to know that it woke me up though. Would recommend.

Right off I-70. Night manager was nice & welcoming. Room was clean. Pool looked clean & did not smell strongly of chlorine despite being in the middle of the building. Shower pressure was awesome! Soaps were nice & did not dry out my sensitive skin. Lots of clean towels. Fridge & microwave in the room. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was well stocked, hot breakfast & waffle maker; coffee was good but the carafe was not very efficient. Would recommend!

The pictures on the site are deceiving, the hotel is extremely outdated and definitely not what is portrayed to the future customers. The water pressure was so low it did not come out of the top of the shower head just a small stream from the bottom side and never got hot just warm. The free continental breakfast was portrayed to have scrambled eggs, sausage links, omelets, along with pastries cereal and waffles. We were offered egg patties that were submerged in water, biscuits, and sausage gravy, the milk for cereal had been sitting out on the counter for a while because it was luke warm. We went in at 7am to eat as well so no reason to not have a good hot breakfast. We paid over a $100.00 for a room and amenities that were not received. I do not recommend this particular hotel to anyone.

Very clean. Very friendly helpful staff. Good location in Topeka. The pool was nice and warm. Had a great time. They sell beer until 11 o'clock. Pool stays open until midnight. And again the staff was excellent.

The staff here is incredible. They were so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and updated. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good.

The locations of building was open to the public. The rooms are very well kept. Any questions we had the costumer support at the front desk answered everything to the best of his abilities. It was a great stay and I would stay there more if I am needing a room to stay.

Staff were helpful and kind, but the hotel needs remodeled badly. My room had stains in the carpet, spray-foam insulation was visible around the AC unit, and the caulking in the bathroom was moldy. It is worth the extra $40 to go to a holiday inn express for a better room.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel mid April. After we got into the hot tub we noticed it didn't look very clean as you could literally see what looked like dead skin particles floating in the water. Beginning of May I noticed red spots all over my husband's back that continued to get worse. Then I started to get them. We went to the doctor. Turned out to be a bacterial infection you get from dirty hot tubs. No wonder they keep the pool area so dimly lit. You can't see how dirty it is! Never again will I stay at this hotel, even if staff was friendly.

Not as nice as other Country Inn & Suites that I have stayed it. Carpet was kind of gross/old, sink drain was broken, and water pressure was not very good. Breakfast was fine and customer service was good as well. So, mixed bag for us.

This is a great place: well run; excellent rates; super-friendly and helpful staff. The pool is just big enough to swim laps if nobody else is there. The breakfasts are quite good. There's round-the-clock coffee and cookies. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The microwave and fridge worked well. The close proximity to the interstate is a plus in terms of convenience but a slight drawback in terms of noise, depending on the room (but nothing that the fan or ear plugs can't cure! ) I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed at the Country Inns and Suits in Topeka, KS. Room looked ok when we checked in. Tried to use the microwave and it did not work. So my husband checked to see if it was plugged in and it wasn't. We had to move it to get to a plug. When he plugged it in, it still didn't work. I called down and told desk clerk, she said she would bring another to us, she did and it worked. If only that was all, but it's not. I saw the hair dryer had a night light but when I looked how to turn it on, I saw a lot of hair sticking out of the intake for the hair dryer. I called again and she brought us a new one. When I used the new one after a few minutes it shut off, so I had to use the one on the wall, it smelled like burnt hair! Then at breakfast the lady cleaning the tables and counter dropped the dish cloth on the floor, she picked it up and preceded to wiped the counter. I did tell the manager, she said she would talk to the breakfast lady about it. When we checked out no discount was offered for all the inconvenience we went through, so we asked for one. With reluctance and a few more minutes, she gave us something off. I do want to say the sheets and towels were clean. Nice size tv. But the bathroom floor tile was missing grout. And on the wall Above the tub enclosure there was a 2 foot by 1 inch long strip of mold, yuck!

The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful! They seemed to really enjoy their job and helped make the whole reservation process and our overall stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options like fruit, waffles, yogurt, cereal, and biscuits with sausage gravy. The rooms were a little dated, but clean. We stayed in a King Suite and there wasn't central air, so we had to leave the door open to cool the whole room evenly.

Its hard to say one thing that we liked because we LOVED EVERYTHING. Initially we were calling looking for a hotel after riding in the cold weather and Chris was super friendly on the phone then when we arrived Chris treated us again with the most respect and like we were family. Couldn't ask for a better stay the room was great the breakfast well above average for a free one. Anytime we are in Topeka we will stay here guaranteed.

Clean room, comfy bed, pet friendly, indoors pool/hot tub, wonderful daytime staff, decently priced. The only complaints I have are the carpet in our pet friendly room had some stains and needed to be cleaned but the room did not smell and the lady at the front desk at night was more concerned with her TV show in the back room and had to be called from the phone at the front desk to check in. I would stay again.

Rochelle at the front desk was so sweet and caring. She went out of her way to help everyone! I just loved her she gave me a peace of mind on a test I was going to have done and all would be good. Then the night shift guy. I think he said his name was kirby was awesome! I couldn't sleep, it had been storming and he kept me entertained and laughing. It's a very clean Motel the noise level was very low even with a bunch of baseball kids and bowling league ladies there. The food was great we sausage eggs biscuits and was really good and the next morning we had french toast and omelets. And the best part about it was the lady and I never got her name she was so calm and cool and collected she was cooking and cleaning and serving and she was doing it all by herself and she was packed and she was smiling and laughing and very happy I just wanted to get up and help her. So if you want a great Motel stay at friendly people to make you feel like you're at home and have known them forever this is the place you want to stay they go the extra mile for you.

"Home away from home" I have now stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Topeka on 2 different occasions for work. Both times I have had excellent service, a comfy bed, great food and a welcoming environment. The staff is friendly and accommodating and go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. I even got a hand-written thank you note on the last day of my stay thanking me for staying with them. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone in the Topeka area. Excellent Breakfast menu every morning. I loved it.

I stayed there with my family last week and it was a great experience! Staff is very friendly and rooms are neat and clean. It is very close to malls and restaurants. Highly recommended.

"5 star Hotel" The hotel itself was top notch, has great location, excellent staff, fresh clean room and great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone passing through this area. I can proudly say that best hotel I have ever stayed in my entire trip.

1/2 hour to check in w only 1 person ahead of me. Room carpet worm with 2 huge stains. Hot tub dirty with floating hair and not much water movement. Pool room is is so dark there could be bodies down there. Kids were wanting to swim but we were afraid we could never find them if they went under. Don't stay here if you want to use the pool — it is dangerous.

Terrible. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and it was so dirty and nasty.

Very poor experience at this hotel. We've stayed at other Country Inns before, but this will be the last one. Food was gross. Hotel was unkempt. Poor attention to detail. Inattentive staff. Bad all around.

Didn't even $90 because they cannot send out a confirmation letter after a room is booked. Completely ridiculous. Haven't even stayed there but I know from this experience that I will not in the future.

The rooms are clean and neat, ac didn't work in first room but very accommodating. Overall very good.
