Stayed for one night for a quick trip toTopeka. I stored my gun in the nightstand cause it couldnt be taking inside the venue I was attending Got up next morning and packed the few things we had and headed home. Next day when we was unpacking we realised we forgot the gun in the nightstand. We called to inform them what had happened. We was told the go check and call right back. No call after 1 hr. So we called back. The room hadn't been cleaned yet and there was no gun. We said one of your people now where it's at then. The manager got really upset and said how dare I say that about her team and became loud and rude in tone. We drove back to Topeka 2hr drive and called police. Police show up and everyone denies anything about the gun. She had a maintenance man in the room, also Her (the manager) and house keeping. With the flooring being replaced throughout the place, the Camara system was down. We lost a fire arm, and only few people with access to the room.

I love the generous space, the friendly staff, the clean rooms… the location is perfect when I visit… This is my home away from home.

No elevator and no railing to get in and out of the pool. A man had to lift me out. Also pool steps are steep.

Great place to stay. Good employees, clean, nice rooms for the money.

Great place to bring your family. The rooms were spacious and clean. Also the staff was accommodating and friendly! Our girls loved the pool and hot breakfast.

If you travel like we do, staying in hotels becomes a necessity. We had never been out to Topeka and we found this place via the internet. There was a slight miscommunication on a little matter, but they handled it smoothly and professionally. The staff was amazing, especially Lindsey. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The rooms were clean and comfortable (best bed we've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on), and very reasonable. The breakfast every morning was hot, fresh, and with a great selection. We already have our reservation set for Nov when we come back out! Can't wait.

We had never even heard of Clubhouse Inn but based on reviews decided to give them a try. Oh my goodness! I can’t say enough good things about them. First of all, they are pet friendly which was important to us since we were traveling with our dog. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. I expected the “normal” free breakfast. Was I ever wrong! In addition to normal cold choices, there was a wonderful hot buffet with bacon, eggs, potatoes, waffles and biscuits… plus fresh fruit! However what makes me a fan for life is that my watch dropped off the bedside table and I didn’t realize I had left it. A couple of hours down the road we got a call saying that Marcy in housekeeping found a watch and turned it in and they offered to ship it to our home address. In a world where so many people would have kept the watch, this honest person turned it in. I will be sending a thank you gift to her as soon as we get home! I will also be singing the praises of this hotel forever!

Easy access off the interstate. Appeared safe and secure. Parking lot was large and plenty of space to park uhaul. Parking lot well lite. Overall the room was clean and the king bed was large. The bed wasnt bad for the price, plenty of pillows. The room had a faint mildew smell. It may be coming from the carpet, they appeared to be old. The furniture was a little dated but still served its purpose. It was nice to have a balcony but it had not been clean and there were spider webs everywhere. The halls had the same mildew smell, most likely the carpet. Continental breakfast had a great selection, was clean and well stocked. Did not get a chance to check out the pool, it closed too early. Would have been nice to take a dip after a long day driving. Maybe they should consider keeping it open a little later from travelers. Overall I would stay here if traveling through that area again.

We booked this hotel on Hotel Tonight at 1145pm, arriving at 1215. Everything was smooth! The bed was comfy and the breakfast was decent. It was a good place to stop in the middle of the night.

The only place I will stay in Topeka. Bev is the main reason people including some of the locals come to visit or stay. Garth and Robert at the front desk always do a great job. The breakfast is better than most hotels I have been to. I recommended this hotel to our employees, now this is the only Topeka hotel they stay at.

This hotel has an interesting mix of good things and bad things. First of all, let me state that, in my experience, the good outweigh the bad, and that I would recommend staying here is you’re in the Topeka area for business or for pleasure. The hotel has sort of an apartment complex feel to it. It’s spread out, with a large courtyard and swimming pool in the middle. We stayed in a two-room suite with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. It was very quiet but I was told by the front desk that noise levels can increase when large groups are staying there. Negatives I experienced were few but notable. The first is that we had several bugs in our room. Nothing too terrible but I’m sure that could turn some people off. The second was the carpet. It’s old and worn and it did not put well with the humidity of Kansas in July.

For the price, I was a little apprehensive. But, I have paid twice the amount for a room, and rec’d half of the amenities. Upper level soaps, sheets, pillows, beds, room was spotless, towels were thick and soft… Being a “hotel snob, ” this place passed every sniff test with flying colors. No need to drive any further from HWY 70 to a national chain. This place will not let you down.

The rooms were clean and quiet with plenty of room for your stuff. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The view of the pool area seemed quaint and cozy, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Best part of it all… the breakfast!

Garth at front desk was awesome. Any concerns about were taken care of quickly. Great pool and jacuzzi. Rooms were clean. Shower was only ok. Water stayed hot but not hot enough for my wife. She likes very hot water but other than that very nice stay. Breakfast was nice as well.

The room is clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The evening happy hour is a fun close to the day and the hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit and yogurt) appealed to each of us. I will definitely reserve this hotel again the next time we are in Topeka.

Trash left outside of rooms for multiple night, old appliances that blew breakers, the staff knew about it but had not fixed I’m in multiple rooms, popcorn kernels left under the mattress and dirt on the sheets. I was moved to a new room and found trash still in the room that was supposedly supposed to be clean. Wi-Fi is good. Staff is okay. Called front desk to report that our room didn’t have a remote to the TV and they never brought one up we had to go all the way to the opposite side of the hotel before anyone helped us with anything. Will not stay here again.

We had a nice time at the Clubhouse Inn and Suites. There were issues with water pressure so flushing toilets and taking showers was an adventure. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was really good and the outdoor area in the middle of the school served as a great place to mingle. They had outdoor grills so you could buy your own food and bring it in and grill it up. We managed to take over the middle area along with a couple of other baseball and softball teams and we had one heckuva a party. It was Spring Break 2018 Topeka. Overall, it has areas it needs to be renovated but it was a nice stay.

Nice breakfast and customer service. Convenient for the wedding we were attending.

Fantastic stay. I had an incredible experience. They have a manager's reception and full breakfast. The room was large and spacious. I had a king suite. It had a kitchenette too. Really close to the interstate and restaurants. Great value for the price.

Service was fantastic, staff was very friendly and very receptive to our dog. Room was nice, and no ridiculous pet fees. Great place to stay, especially with a dog!

Beautiful courtyard in middle of hotel. Huge! Can accommodate large groups or a single person. Safe-all side doors require a key card. Laundry facility. Extensive free breakfast buffet Very clean rooms. Checkout is at 11am.

The friendliness of the workers makes this feel homey! Bed was comfy and we slept great. I like that the room could be made very dark. There were not a lot of ppl there when we stayed, but if there were, I'm sure it would be noisy. The breakfast was great and has lots of variety. They also have drinks in the evening from 5 to 7. I feel they have done updates as time has progressed so it isn't fresh and sparkly, but it is very nice and not worn old like I thought it might be. Great stay!

Can be loud outside, but overall a nice, affordable place to stay in Topeka right off the main streets. It's close to everything and easy to get to. Would stay here again.

Boy did I pick the right hotel to stay in while we visit the hospital where my bother is. Full breakfast not continental, great queen beds, and the 2 free drinks at night are such a plus. Bartender is great and all the hotel clientele are super friendly and helping. I will make this my go to hotel in Topeka forever.

Nice & Clean but we stopped in on a night where there were very few cars in the lot and we only needed about 4 hrs sleep and they wouldn't offer a discount. I didn't want to pay $20.00 an HR to sleep so we went elsewhere… but it was a nice place.

These people are the best. Whatever they may lack in any area they absolutely make up for in service. I had a leaky sink, no big deal, and they upgraded me no questions. It's the only place I stay in Topeka. I had to stay in the hotel for 10 weeks for some training. It was a home away from home. These people are amazing.

The evening reception (with free drinks! ) is great and Bev is so welcoming! Super comfy beds. A very generous hot breakfast. Gorgeous lobby and courtyard make it nice to relax and chat. Love staying here (been here more than a dozen times)!

Older hotel but very nice. Bev at the bar is great! Breakfast is good and family friendly with variety. Needs more plugins to keep up with the need for chargers.

Great staff… very accommodating. Evening reception is good, especially for 6 nights a week. I have only seen them 4 nights. The outdoor area is a nice place to hang out with coworkers at the end of the day. Pool and jacuzzi were both in good working condition. For longer stays like mine, the guest laundry was also helpful.

The young man at the front desk was friendly and courteous. I had been given a room in the second floor but I asked for a main floor room when I found there was no elevator (mobility issues). He immediately gave me a pool side room which was amazing. The court yard was beautiful and well maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening in the gazebo! Although I didn't use the hot tub, the area looked clean and inviting. The bed was a little soft for me but all in all it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a lovely place. Have stayed here multiple times and will continue to choose this place for my stays. The staff is super friendly and are willing to help you with whatever you need! Rooms are cozy and comfortable, and for the price it's a great deal! Only very minor issues with the rooms. Some could use a little fixing and updating, but overall, I loved them. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but it was free, so no complaints there. The pool area and the lobby are gorgeously decorated, clean, and well-kept! The location is fantastic as well. A mall, movie theater, bowling alley, and the Kansas History Museum are all nearby. Not to mention countless food options, stores, a frozen yogurt shop, and a few gas stations as well! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great spot to stop by on a long trip. Very safe. Great staff. Beds amazing. Full hot breakfast served at 6:30am that is fabulous. So happy I picked them. Great price as well.

So I will start positive, the staff was VERY friendly loved the 2 free drinks to welcome us. The pool area was clean and towels were provided the breakfast was great. Sadly because of the cleanliness of the room and the door latch being a problem. I don't know if Id come back. Kind of let down. We stayed here last night staff was amazing and we are so excited to get into our room and comfortable for a great night. The rooms were kind of yucky. I had spiders and webs in my room. The door from the room to the pool was not really secure. Several lights in the room don't work and some of the outlets were broken. Some details are getting looked over here.

Rooms are nice for the price. I stay here for work from time to time. Clean facility. Friendly staff. Pool is clean and well kept. Hot tub was being repainted this time do I couldn't use it.

Very nice. Lovely staff, drinks and breakfast loved. I was in pillow heaven and the beds were so comfortable. The only issue was the lack of water pressure.

While it's not the most beautiful place to stay, the customer service is outstanding and they are extremely military friendly. One of the few hotels I've stayed at that always makes me feel welcome. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast has always been good! I highly recommend Clubhouse!

I'm in a hotel 6 out of 8 weeks. This one is great. Had an issue with the A/C; they moved me to a different room right away. Clean, decent water pressure for showers, great breakfast, they have a grill (if you stay in hotels weeks at a time this is a plus). Very confused abour the "Manager's Greeting" time. You get 2 free drink tickets, but people kept showing up like a neighborhood bar. They knew the nice lady behind the bar, talked about their day, drank, then left. Confused, but very happy. A great stay.

The location was awesome, they were right next to a Hooters & we ate dinner there. I am disabled and the staff were really understanding about it taking longer for me to get things done & giving us extra washrags & towels when we needed them. I had borrowed a wheelchair to get into the church to be at my grandpa's funeral they kept it at the front desk for me till our friend could come and pick it up. I also had some presents that I forgot to give to my goddaughter and my grandma and they kept those to give to them after we left the hotel! Such very good customer service. My dad and my brother also really enjoyed the bartender during happy hour, she was celebrating her 30th year as a bartender :-) we had a wonderful experience & wonderful breakfast!

We had a first floor room facing the pool. It was very convenient to be able to walk right out to the pool. They also had a happy hour with free drinks. They make pretty good Manhattans (using McCormick's brand for ask liquor) and the bartender said she only gets to make about 3 a year. Pretty good breakfast, excellent for free. We stay here every year because of the staff and service. Highly recommend! But don't take my room.

I'm currently staying at the ClubHouse Inn and have given it 3-stars for now, but might update later to 4-stars. I would have given 4-stars, except the Verizon service for my cell phone is terrible upstairs in a suite at the back. I've been walking around the building and noticed it's much better on the other side or up front. I called the front desk and she confirmed the router is up nearer the offices on the first floor. I've left a message with the manager, since it's after 5pm and she's gone, and will see what she says tomorrow. I'm here for a long stay and cannot tolerate this. The other suites in locations I would move to are occupied long term, also. I don't want the possible noise increase if I move up the corridor or to the front. I have stayed here for long periods off and on since the late 1980's for reunions and holidays and to visit friends and family. It's a comfortable place, very affordable rates, and the staff has been wonderful over the years, and still is. The happy hour bartender is still the same, which is amazing to see. It's smaller and friendly, more like a BnB. The happy hour is great fun especially around the holidays. I don't like giving only 3 stars but the hotel should be keeping up with all guests communication needs in this day and age! We're not talking wallpaper problems here. Totally unacceptable if your company employee texts are not getting through. Hopefully I will get help tomorrow.
