Very nice hotel with all of the amenities one would expect from a Sheraton hotel. Check-in staff were very friendly and professional. Dog friendly too‼️

Room was disgustingly dirty. It literally looked like someone had stayed in the room and instead of cleaning it and changing the bed sheets/blankets and towels out, They just folded up the blankets on the bed and folded the used towels back up. When calling down to the front desk, I was told that there wasn't any other rooms to trade for and I was stuck with the room. When asking for clean blankets and towels you would have thought I had asked for a million dollars. There's no perks to staying here. No free Wi-Fi, no complimentary breakfast in the morning. For as much as you pay for a room you would at least expect it to be clean and have good customer service. Highly disappointed and will not return.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Our room was FILTHY. Dirty dishes were piled up in front of our door upon arrival. The beds were covered in black hair, the sheets had something of a brown color dried on them, as well as, dirt and leaves. There were clumps of mud on the floor. The table had something spilled all over it and covered in dust and dead bugs. I took pictures of it all and was told to email them. I did so. I was told it was the only room that was available since I had reserved a suite. I received an email stating my room was taken care of and I was credited back the full amount. Wrong! I was charged for the nasty, filthy room and the accounting department said that even though the email states that I was being credited for the full amount, I'm not. Poor customer service and disgusting rooms!

Excellent, quiet night's stay! Desk was very helpful and the food was excellent.

Food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. Hot tub was very relaxing. Total atmosphere was peaceful.

Beautifully decorated hotel and we had a wonderful stay.

They require an amenities deposit of $50 understandable. I ordered room service to be charged to my room. I didn’t order over the $50. The next day I had an additional hold on my card for $79.23? I inquire with the front desk and was told it was their policy to take an additional deposit when you charge something to the room I have never experienced anything like this. I travel for work about 20 trips a year and never ever has this happened. I didn’t authorize this I only authorized a $50 deposit. If this is their policy it should be in writing and given to guests upon check in. Also you have to pay for Wi-Fi. No complimentary Wi-Fi. I’ve stayed at motels that offer free Wi-Fi. I will make sure my company doesn’t make reservations at the Sheraton again. The front desk manager could not provide me with a copy of the deposit policy. She wasn’t professional. She said that was the policy and told me to have a nice day. I was dismissed like a child. I have stayed at 5 star hotels for work that don’t even require a deposit! My travel is booked by corporate and the corporate card is on file. Also upon check in I inquired what ballroom the conference I was attending for 5 days was in? I was told that the conference wasn’t there. The front desk clerk had a list of all functions at the hotel, I was told it was at the adjoining convention center. That wasn’t correct.

Friendly staff, beautiful building, kind guest, great atmosphere.

For such a large hotel they don’t offer guest free Wi-Fi. You have to pay for it!
We have stayed at much smaller hotels with Free Wi-Fi!

In room coffee, please fix this disgrace once and for all.

I stayed at the Sheraton Overland Park for two days and two nights on a business trip. The facility worked very well for the convention, and the hotel boasts nice decor and pleasant staff. The hotel is located just off of I-435, and offers valet and self-parking. The King-bed room had ample space and included leather chairs, a fridge and a safe. My only complaint about the room was the lack of robust water pressure, but this could have been because we were on the 15th floor. The food both days of the convention was tasty and well-presented. The adjoining Convention Center was also used for our event, and together the two facilities easily hosted our approximately 1200 attendees.

The rooms and hotel were very clean and comfortable. The bath tub / shower were quite small but everything else was as advertised. Staff were professional but I had minimal interaction. Still have 5 nights to stay here, things are looking good!

My family of four stayed here for a recent trip to KC. We really enjoyed our stay. I found the hotel to be luxurious and well appointed. It is also pet-friendly as well. The included breakfast was also terrific and so was the entire staff.

This place is the best in the KC area. The restaurant is really good. Especially the tater tots believe it or not. Staff was friendly and made some good local recommendations for food and site seeing. The rooms were spotless, the gym had plenty of equipment, the bed was comfy. I travel a lot and this was one of the best places I've stayed in a long time. Definitely plan to book it again next time I'm in KC.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton for 4 nights and attended a Right To Life Convention at the hotel. It was a great experience! The hotel was very helpful and accommodating! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in or around the area! The room was very clean and comfortable. They even provided me with a fan when I asked for one to help me sleep. They have everything that you might forget available upon request. The food at the restaurant in the lobby was excellent! If I am ever in the are again I will definitely be staying at the Sheraton!

Stepped in for an afternoon meeting. Facility was nicely appointed and very clean. Parking was confusing. A large event unrelated to mine was going on at the same time next door at the convention center and nearly all spots were taken. I expected more clear directions. Otherwise nice place.

Nice hotel room. No real complaints. Had the breakfast included in my stay. Everything was nice and clean. Very spacious, bed was comfortable.

The room was in good condition. The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillows were pretty flat and disappointing. The bathroom was small and the shower was okay. I didn't get to use the pool or workout facilities, so I cannot comment on them. Overall, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The bar area was nice and lively. Breakfast is to order (not a buffet) and was pretty good. I didn't attend a conference, so I cannot comment on the facilities for that portion of the hotel. There was quite a bit of free parking for conference attendees though.

The front desk staff was awesome. We reserved the room through hotwire stating 3 people. The room was a king sized bed and no pull out. We called the front desk and asked if we could get a roll away. They originally told us it would cost $50 but Amor sent one up free of charge. Nice clean hotel and staff were very accommodating.

We are currently staying at this hotel. We arrived at the hotel and were surprised at the beauty of the lobby. When we checked-in we were told that they had booked all the king rooms even though we called to request a king room. They stated that because we booked through a third party site we basically just get what they give us. They told me I could upgrade to a club suite for $40 additional a night. I asked if I could receive a better price on the upgrade due to the lack of providing me the king room I booked. They said no, so sad because this has happened before and the outcome and customer service was so much better. We got to the double queen room which smelled of smoke! So we asked for a different room, which also smelled like smoke and had stains and was not very clean. Finally we ended up just paying the $120 to upgrade our room which was not part of our budget. Very unsatisfied.

This was my first experience at this hotel and I loved it. The room was exceptionally clean (all the white bedding was immaculate! ). It was quiet even though there was what looked like a girl's soccer tournament staying at the hotel. I only had breakfast, but it was tasty and not over priced. I was very impressed with the artwork and interior design. Also, I am very happy that the Sheraton posted "no guns allowed" signs. This must be difficult for a national corporation in an open carry state. THANK YOU! I will definitely stay here again and tell others about it.

We have attended a company party at the Sheraton for the last 4 years. Every time we have had a wonderful experience. Three of the years we also spent the night. The staff has always been warm, welcoming and helpful. Any requests or extra needs have been promptly addressed. The pool area is very relaxing. The ballroom/meeting rooms are beautiful and the food and drinks have always been phenomenal.

It was a short stay, but the amenities were great and the staff friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

Great hotel. Customer service is friendly and helpful. My only recommendation is upgrade your bed to a pillow too. We did not and our bed was super hard and uncomfortable.

We had booked a traditional room and the square footage seemed to be so much more then with a standard hotel's tradition room. Which makes a big difference with children! We absolutely loved this hotel and this pool. The only amenities we could have used with kids is a microwave but the staff was helpful to show us one in the lobby we were welcome to use at any time. Staying at a nice hotel makes a family trip run so much smoother. Thank you!

It's nice hotel and clean facility. Little too far from dining places. Bar is okay. Club level is good but alcohol is extra purchase. Overall its decent stay.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but was here for an Anime Convention. Very well staffed. Very friendly as well. Lady behind the bar was very cool under pressure (it was VERY busy). Plus she made the best Long Island I Have ever had!

Was there for convention, but could not see any panels cause not enough room. The convention needs more space. The restroom thing was strange cause anyone could use it. Guy's and gal's. But over all a nice place.

Despite a problem I ended up having with some roommates it didnt end up ruining my stay I ended up getting a room to myself despite if I where to have to use the internet id have to pay for it and food was a little pricey at the restaraunt I may still return next year if I go to the naka-kon anime convention.

I work for a convention hosted there every year and every year the staff and location are perfect. We enjoy working with them and spending time there during our event (not to mention the meetings leading up to it).

My mom and I are locals. We came here to get away for a weekend. We shopped around for the best deal and this was it. When my mom explained the rough week we had they gave us a free upgrade to a top floor room. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay.

I stayed here 4 days in a row. All 4 days were great! Beds were on the firm side which is a challenge for me, but you can't please everyone.

Went there for a work conference… it was perfect for this! The spaces were very nice and everything worked well. The setup is nice and easy to get around. The food was better than expected for a hotel and the rooms were nice. Overall, great experience!

We attended a company party. The food provided was very good and the bar staff wasn't friendly. The room was clean as well.

Went there for a company Holiday Party. Everything was spot on. Buffet snacks were delicious and fresh. All the event activities were perfect. It was well executed. I would recommend better external signage for the different conference rooms since we drove around the buildings till we found familiar cars.

Our event was held in the cottonwood room and it was very fancy and professional looking. They had bartenders there for an open bar and they were friendly and very good at their job. The waiting staff was very courteous and attentive as well.

I woke up with a horrible neck ache from the terrible pillows. I didn’t sleep good at all because they were so uncomfortable. I was awakened early in the morning to a staff person trying to open our door. She said we had requested extra towels and I told her that we were sleeping. She was irritated and gave me an insincere apology. I don’t really get why a staff member would try barging through a guest room door just to deliver towels. Not very professional at all.

The conference center was very clean and newly renovated. However when requesting an area to pump breastmilk I was given the option of a bathroom. Ended up using the mens single bathroom with no chair. A hotel can't have one designated room to mother's for conferences?

Stayed at the Sheraton for the International Lineman Rodeo and the staff was phenomenal. They went out of their way to fulfill a request to be on the same floor as our family and it worked out perfectly! Everything was perfect. See you again next year!

The convention center is very nice and can hold large and medium-sized events. All the events I've attended were setup well, the audio/visual was appropriate for the venue and activity, the staff was friendly, the rooms and halls were clean, and everything appeared to run smoothly. The parking is convenient as well, and I have never been charged for parking. I like this convention center. I haven't stayed in the hotel.

Our organization had a hotel-hosted happy hour with some of the hotel staff that we will be working with for our event. The entire event was lovely and, as usual, the staff we met up with was courteous and friendly, creating such a relaxed environment. I love our opportunities to coordinate with the Sheraton staff!

My stay at Sheraton Overland Park was amazing. The lobby was elegant and beautiful as was the Club Room I stayed in. The amenities offered were plenty and top notch. The staff was very polite and warm, as if to welcome you home.

My husband and I stayed here for a night away on our anniversary. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great. From the moment we valet the car to the moment we checked into the hotel everyone was super friendly and super helpful. They were even really accommodating with our dogs. The hotel is very dog friendly. The food and drink prices were reasonable and the location was really convenient for doing multiple things within the two-state area. I would definitely stay there again and recommend friends to do so as well.

It's still a Sheraton. It's not exceptional, but it's quite clean. It's more or less connected to the convention center. Not much around the area quick walkable. Workout room open 24 hours staff is friendly and helpful. In room single-cup coffee maker. The breakfast selection was fine.

Room was nice and quiet with a decent view. Easy access from parking lot to hotel. Relatively close to shopping and restaurants although nothing in walking distance.

Been there 2 years in a row for a convention, neither time was our room ready by check in time. The last time it was 3 hours later and we still didn't get our room, had to settle. For a different room. Was suppose to have king beds and ended up with queen. Nobody even apologised.

I went to a friends wedding and reception here. I did not stay in the hotel, but friends of mine did and the rooms were very clean, nice, and odor free. The hotel was very sheek, impressive, and comfortable. I had a wonderful time and would suggest this hotel to anyone planning an event, function, or overnight stay. The food that was served during the reception was phenomenal too.

Great room, easy check in and nice fitness facility. The free breakfast was adequate and they did offer cooked to order food as well.

Was at a trade show next door, heard allot of good comments at the JOCO Airport about the food and lounge at the hotel. Other pilots rave about the food and the service in the lounge area. We only had drinks and they were pleasantly strong in align with the prices. Look forward to staying at the property some day and complete a true review and inspection.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The hotel is well decorated and the rooms are comfortable. Our room was slightly musty and more humid than I would have liked. The drinks at the bar were great, but the service was slower as the night went on. I feel they were slightly under staffed for a Saturday night. The convention center causes high activity as the hotel, of course, but it's acceptable. Overall, we are happy with the service and experience. Will stay here again.

The staff is very pleasant and the rooms are satisfactory. The bar is really nice and other amenities are great. The only downside was a lack of continental breakfast and the need to become a member for free Wi-Fi.

The Sheraton is a beautiful hotel, my favorite part was the patio which made a wonderful place to smoke a cigar. The rooms were also quite comfy and the staff very kind and insistent in helping out.

Stayed here in August 2015. I was attending an event at the Overland Park Convention Center which was right beside the hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice restaurant in the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just don't use the car service if you're on a budget. The taxis in the area are pretty good.

Our room was close to the elevators, and the need for better soundproofing was quite evident. Other than the continual ding of the lift and conversations of the other guests, the room was great — clean and shiny and comfortable. The convention center was vast, and the catering was excellent, though I don't know if that was provided by an external source. I would stay again, but would ask to be located further from the lifts.

The Sheraton hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. It is also a minute walk from the convention center.

Staff went out of their way to make things easy on my group. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are a bit cramped in the shower department, and the internet is paid.

Service was excellent. Room was very nice. Club level amenities were great, though the key card access to the club floors on the elevator was a hassle and sent me to the first floor half the time. I'd stay here again.

We arrived at 4pm and our room was not ready yet, so we changed our arrangements and took what they had ready. It was a pain in the neck, but got us into a room. Some of our relatives waited two hours to get their room. Rediculous! Otherwise, the accommodations were nice and service was OK. I wish I could give more stars, but we got off on the wrong foot.

I stay here very often and it's an average Sheraton. Most of the folks at the desk are great and helpful, and so is the maintenance stuff if you'd ever need them. The gym is a little small and the internet isn't the fastest. I'm a platinum member and they treat me appropriately. The breakfast (buffet) is good plenty of choices but gets a bit bland week after week. I've also heard that their dining is pretty good to though I haven't experienced that first hand. The rooms are a bit out-dated and the TVs can be a bit of a pain if you want to do something fancy such as set up your Chrome cast. Nothing majorly wrong with the hotel or the staff and have had mixed experiences, but overall it's my place to stay when I'm in the area.

Lobby is nice. Rooms are decorated circa 1980. Not very many amenities. Noise was a huge problem. Could hear the room next doors water and shower. Doors slammed loud. Finally ended up leaving a day early.

Given the previous reviews, I chose to stay in the clubhouse level and the value was great. Free parking, Wi-Fi, breakfast, and snacks. The room was very clean and well-furnished with an amazing fresh breakfast. Would stay there again next time I have an event in the area.

They upgraded us to the Club Suite on the top floor for free because it was our wedding night. Service staff was very friendly. The view was great. Only issue was low water pressure in the bathroom faucet.

Uppity discerning jerks! If I hadn't gotten a great deal on Hotwire I would be MAD about the money I spent. The rooms are very nice, but the staff looks down at you unless your suit was made in Italy. My wife and I had an old lunchbox sized cooler and a grocery bag coming back to the room (because the restaurant prices are INSANE) and were looked at like homeless garbage. They charge for the internet, the bottles of nestle water in the room are apparently worth $4 each and the starbucks and stale pastries at the lounge are double priced. Aging millionaires are their target audience, and should be. Don't pay more than $65 to stay here.
