Owner/manager is so disrespectful to women… guests and employees.

Manager walks in on guests without warning, early in the morning, using his keys. No apologies or explanation. Talk about criminal and disgusting behavior.

Great stay, atmosphere and great service.

The room was disgusting. Only stay there for 2 hours and they still charge me for the three nights that I was suppose to stay. No refund or anything. They were rude. I would never stay here again.

Fairly priced. Management was polite and helpful. Rooms were spacious and very clean.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Room was dirty, as in I had to wipe down every surface, the floor needed swept and mopped, and by the night stand there was a sticky substance. They charged a different amount than what was agreed upon on reservation, there were dirty diapers in the parking lot, the door stuck so we had to go in like a linebacker to get it open, the shower/curtain had a dirty wash cloth hanging on it, and last but not least, THERE WAS NO ALARM CLOCK IN THE ROOM WHEN WE CHECKED, AND THEY CHARGED ME $200 SAYING THAT WE STOLE IT. The manager was rude and belligerent yelling at both me and my husband calling us liars when we refuted the charges. Corporate for Econo Lodge refuses to fix the issue, saying I have to take it up with the belligerent idiot. Do not stay here!

Room was dirty found a dirty wash cloth in the shower curtain who knows how long it was there. Also staff were rude and not helpful at all never going to stay here agian. Ramish is rude and wont listen and will call you a liar if you disagree with him very unprofessional.

Very clean and quiet! Friendly housekeeping staff and excellent service. I worried about my allergies when I noticed that they allow pets. When I noticed that the floors were not carpeted, I decided to stay there. I was pleasantly surprised. No allergy problems, the housekeeping staff did an amazing job keeping the room clean and were very accommodating. I had a problem with my chair. I was told that someone will be over in 15 minutes. Within 5 minutes someone was over and the chair was fixed. My stay was pleasant and I highly recommend this hotel.

Asked for phone number upon room booking, and within 24 hours was receiving unsolicity sex spam. If this was a work number that could have been grounds for disciplinary action. Since it was a temporary number (used since I was on vacation), and that was the first place I had used it, it's fairly safe to say that either they have a bad employee, or they're doing shady things as a company policy. The room wasn't bad though, but avoid it for work trips.

Construction and being placed to close to that was an annoyance, worked with the office and they were stoics but did eventually take care of switching rooms. Pool in the back and ample laundry space was nice. A. C. Unit worked like a champ.

There were numerous Issues right from the start honestly we should have left and not stayed a single night. The first 2 nights that we stayed at this hotel there were lots of men at the pool drinking beer listening to loud music and smoking a hookah (not sure what kind of herb was in that hookah) they were also eating food at the pool all of the above was against the rules. The air-conditioning didn’t work well it was either hot and humid or freezing no in between. The owner was very rude to my wife and I and he over charged us by $240.00 he did refund that tho. This hotel is cheep for a good reason don’t waste your money.

Good basic lodging. No frills expected. Clean room. All appliances and fixtures worked fine.

It was convient to where we were going had a gas station somewhere to eat nearby. The room was clean, it was a little noisy. Management was friendly.

I have ALS and have been coming down to the KU ALS Clinic, we personally and highly recommend this Excellent Econo Lodge. This is such a CONVENIENT LOCATION for me and the MANAGEMENT is a GOD SEND with the "SUPPORT" plus their motel or hotel is with a top of the line Chain. The Manager upon our departure discovered in our room a very valuable item and was able to stop us in time before leaving the parking lot. I can't thank him enough for his honesty and attempt to return these items. God did, on this day Bless me with the Man who is a True and Honest human being. The room was clean and more spacious then expected for the just under 90 dollars I paid for the single bedroom. Staff was polite, I will remember this location and be sure to return.

Nice rooms. Very clean. Only downside is the breakfast is short at 6 to 9. Missed it one morning.

Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Room 224 bathroom toilet was very loud when flushed. Breakfast was clean and fresh, however, there was no meat or eggs available. Were in town for softball tournament at Mid America West… is only minutes away from the motel.

The bare necessities for the bare minimum. It was clean and functional. Next to food and drinks. It was great as long as you remember the staff barely speaks English.

Greatly over priced. Lied about having a stuffed bunny that I left that belonged to my son.

It was good. We stay there all the time. Room service is great. We have a service dog and she is very friendly. If fact we will be coming sometime in September.

Everything was good except the floors. They were gross. We spilled a small amount of water in the hard floors, when wiping it up the towels turned black, as if the floors hadn't been cleaned in weeks.

Busy corner, hard access. They front desk clerk was the rudest ever yesterday! Small rooms, but fairly clean. Doesn't look the pictures! Plus when u arrive they want $50 cash or $30 TAKEN OFF YOUR CREDIT CARD IN ADVANCE. EVEN though rooms paid for in advance. It then takes 7 days to get your money refunded. In. Case I steal. Lol.

No vending machine 2 ice machine no coffee unless 2 single in room. Stayed 2 nights because my dad is in hospital for heart surgery and was told had to stay an extra night. So went to office at 1 am when got back and paid for another day. I explained my whole situation and said I needed rest after 6 hour ride from Oklahoma, then 2 days of doctors about pumps and transplants. In the morning at 11 office called saying the room had to be cleaned after 2 days even had do not disturb on door. They said it was policy to check room after 2 day stay due to past drug dealing and prostitute issues. I asked if they had cameras. They said yes. I asked have you seen any company at my room or any disturbance. They said no again! then I asked have you seen me go to car to smoke my ciggeretes he said yes. So my last question was was I being judged or profiled? Was it my clothes? He said he was not judging. I said then why am I being woke up when no reason was made to do so? It's not him it's his boss! Advised employee that I think the boss should do his own dirty work. PS got back from hospital and key to door would not work. Which worked right before I left. Seems fishy. It was they we hoping I was intoxicated. But my luck I was a homebody. Since he has changed but that's cause I emailed his boss.

Worst place ever. Never go here if your reading this. Took my deposit for a stain on mattress, supposedly. Asked to take a look to verify and they said no. Kinda weird because it was a pink stain they said but I just cant recall drinking nor eating anything pink/red. But yes, denied access to see the stain. Then he said I was suppose to be out by noon. I said I was, then he said the card needed to be in office at noon. It was 1215. I was organizing my car to fit belongings accordingly. Worst customer service ever. Cant understand a word he spoke with the night clerk. Owner said he wouldnt speak with me if I continued to cuss then he cusses me out and hangs up on me… horrible.

Stayed 3 nights in a king room. Front desk helpful, room clean, and king bed comfortable. Our heat was fine. Room came with two towels, but we were given more when we asked. Breakfast area had usual cereals and pastries, juices, fresh fruit, and yogurt. We decided to leave a day early and had no problem with cutting our stay short. I read some terrible reviews before our stay, and can report we had no problems like those mentioned. Easy location to get to and within a few miles of some great shopping. We will stay there again.

Reception was courteous, quick, and helpful through the checking in and checking out process. The room, while basic, was mostly functional (slow draining bathtub) and mostly clean (one stray tissue from who-knows-where). I would have appreciated a quieter cleaning service who started rounds at least at normal checkout times (rather than ones who noisily yelled across lots to each other two hours before checkout). If looking for a basically clean and seemingly safe place to sleep in the KC area, this hotel is a reasonable value.

My room was dirty and smelled very bad. Found cockroach on the floor. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!

Room was nice. Office staff never specified a check out time and we were informed 30 minutes before the checkout time that we had to get up and get all of our stuff out. After being told that we could stay an hour longer we checked out and were charged a fee for late check out.

I wanted to like this place and I did at first. We checked in easy, the rooms were decent for the price and noise was pretty minimal. However we originally arranged for a late afternoon checkout due to our schedule and although things were agreed, that's not how it was treated. At 11am sharp there is banging on the door. We intend to sleep until 2:00 (night shift, we sleep late) so we are fully asleep but despite telling housekeeping to leave we are then called on the phone and argued with about our check out time. We remind them of the afternoon checkout and go to sleep. We get another knock on the door at noon, followed by another phone call again. 12:30 and a third hoisekeeping knock. We throw up our hands and start packing. Then five minutes later another angry knock with another woman shouting. This was the least professionally I've been dealt with as a customer at an inn. We were harassed, berated, and threatened. Unreal.

This place is absolutely pathetic. We will never stay here again and I would never recommend this place to anyone I know. First I had to drive back to the front desk because our room key wouldn't work. After unpacking all of our things, we realized that the sink drain was completely plugged up. I drove back to the front desk, got keys for a different room, drove back to our room, packed up all of our stuff and moved it to the new room. I drove to the front desk once more that night to get fresh bedding as there was a clump of human hair and stains all over the bedding in the room. The next morning we realized that the drain in the bathtub was completely clogged, so that was just the icing on the cake. These rooms are dirty and the furniture reminded me of something you might find in a dumpster. Their idea of a continental breakfast is the worst I've ever seen. We paid $74 a night for a room that was worth no more than $40 a night.

Price wasn't terrible. Room was extremely cold, heater worked ok. No carpeting, so the floors were freezing. $250 fines for various reasons. Crazy stuff.

NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN! Between being told WE didn't understand how to work the heater (for which we had to change rooms because THEIR heater didn't work) to 1 1/2" gaps under the front door, to literally being able to hear the neighbor pass gas to and this is my personal favorite, loud prostitutes arguing with the other neighbor about PRICE!

Excellently managed budget motel. Minimalist accommodations such as hard surface flooring and queen sized beds. But all fixtures are in reasonably good condition. Wi-Fi is fast. TV decent. Bed comfortable. Steak and Shake and Quiktrip easy walk. Neat and clean inside and outside.

The room is updated & clean, but that's about where the positives stop. There's a very very loud clunking noise that has gone on about every minute since we arrived, making it impossible to relax. The bed is very hard, with only a sheet & top blanket, and all of the bedding and the padded chair in the room are stained. The person working the desk on a Saturday afternoon was not friendly or chatty, so if we had needed help with anything I doubt we could have gotten it. I've stayed at a lot of cheap hotels, but the thunking and clunking paired with the terrible bed makes this one top the list of "never again. "

This place is run by shady people. Called us and accused us of taking a alarm clock which was never in our room, and that they were going to charged us for it. I have never taken anything in my life and sure as hell would never take a stupid alarm clock. We don't even use one. Had terrible customer service. Do not ever do business with them. If you could give a zero star I would.

Horrible experience September 22 the room is 93 degrees. It's thermostat says so in 10 minutes it's cools to 65 and shuts off… uh hello the room is still hot. We get another room. The room is 81 degrees. Air conditioner is the same. Shuts off leaving the whole room hit. I Go to shower there is someone's dirty hand towel still hanging in the shower. Floors are dirty my white socks are stained. Nasty. Rates 70. Never again.

Offered a 60$ room but cost 74$. Was a very nice room though no complaints about that. Except if your a night shift worker they won't accommodate your schedule. No sleep during day. I booked because of fumigation. No love to Nurse needing a soft bed.

It was relatively clean. The carpet had recently been removed and a wood-patterned vinyl floor was put in. The bad part was the gap under the door was huge from when it had carpet and they hadn't fixed it yet. To be honest, when there is a 1" gap that bugs, mice or snakes can easily get through, it's not ready to rent out… Not to mention how much air was coming through. The A/C could hardly keep up. When I mentioned it, they handed me a pool towel and told me to put it behind the door. The towel was no long enough.

Horrible experience. I would give this hotel a grand total of "0" stars. Don't give this hotel the time of day because apparently the management of this hotel doesn't give you the time of day whatsoever. We called ahead of time to cancel our reservation due to inclement weather and we wouldn't have made it to the hotel that night. The manager was extremely RUDE and kept interrupting without even listening to what I was trying to tell him. He just kept saying "no show, no refund. " And that he didn't want to waste his own time with this anymore. I've worked at a hotel and I know how customers are supposed to be treated and this place is completely unacceptable. After reading other reviews I would suggest that you think twice before staying here. A disgusting place with careless management.

Not bad for the price. Had family staying there for the holidays and they had no complaints.

Carpet was filthy, needs to be replaced. They are pet friendly but add an additional $20, so they should use that money to clean up pet messes.

Hotel overall is clean and appears well maintained. Beds were newer but mattresses were not comfy, hard and look to be a "small" queen, almost like a full size. Free breakfast was just ok. Missing the waffles that are typically included in Econo Lodge Continental breakfast.

Cheap, Clean and Quiet. I stayed here for 2 nights. It was actually a pleasurable experience. Very clean, very quiet and conveniently located next to many locations. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and relatively unused by too many people. The breakfast buffet wasn't elaborate but it serves danishes, cold cereal and hot coffee. It was good enough. I got no complaints if the place was brand new I might have given it five stars even though it's a 3 star hotel currently.

Very friendly and helpful staff. On a ten scale of cleanliness I'd give it a 7. Steak & Shake restaurant next door as well as a Target. Things looked smaller than advertised like the pool but for the price, this place is very reasonable and very competitive. Not disappointed.

Waited over and hour and half for room to be cleaned after check in (booked room over a month in advance with check in time). Last night bathroom ceiling from room above flooded out my bathroom after someone flushed their toilet upstairs. No one would come check or repair was given 4 towels to clean it up. Final room charge was more than my confirmation email. Asked for change in bill and new receipt to be emailed and over a week later and two phone calls still no correct receipt. Location is great but the owners DO NOT CARE about customers. Sent email with no response.

The front desk worker was very polite and helpful. The rooms are nice in general. The smell of smoke seems to linger even though its a no smoking hotel.

Room was decent. Location good, restaurant next door. I did get charged more than my reservation showed and was not happy about that.

Nice budget hotel, booked online, they let us check the room before we stayed, they got USB plugs in the wall, the window was dirty though. Overall great for a budget hotel. There is a extra $3 fee in the fine print for the safe in the room.

For one/two people traveling for work or on a budget, it's not that bad. Four stars because it's much cleaner than most other $60/night hotels. The room I got (6/30/16) was clean and bug-free. The bathroom was fine. A lot of these other reviews seem overblown. The hotel staff was courteous to me as I checked in. The A/C works. All in all, it's a good enough hotel, nothing that I couldn't live through. It's obviously not a Hilton or a Holiday Inn or something. If you want those rooms, you've got to pay those prices. This place is your average Econo Lodge. A bummer for me was the breakfast. No hot items, but hey, for $60 what do you expect? I'd stay here again.

Clean Hotel. A big plus is the electrical outlets with the USB ports. I wish more hotels had these. A quiet and clean place to stay overall.

Everything was just fine until I was laying out by the pool. Then all the sudden I am not good enough to stay at your motel. I was accused of stealing, treated like a criminal. So, I would not recommend this motel to anyone. I would rather stay in a roach motel than there.

I got my room using a CLC corporate lodging CARD. I was in room for an hour and the owner called my room and said I needed to pay extra because it was race weekend. I was a kicked out. He no longer will have the 600 guests a year that Corporate lodging sent him,, hope it was worth it over $50.
