Young man running this is rude hurtful and plan meen 260 a week and had loud nabors most time of stay over priced not well clean.

Pretty clean, but older motel. I like to drive right up to the door. No complaints for the price. Good flat screen TV. Updated bathroom. Fair carpet and walls.

This place is nasty! Cockroaches, blood running down the shower curtain and on tissue dispenser, carpets are dirty, stained and have burns all over the floor (from the iron), dark and musty! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Rooms are nice n cozy. Clean rooms. The front desk folk are polite. No long walk to your room. Very secure well lit parking. Best hotel for your money in Independence Ks. Trust me don't even look at other motels here. These rooms are well maintained n staff is awesome. I'd sleep in my truck before going elsewhere.

The rooms are nice. Clean. Very comfortable. My only complaints are that the microwave turntable doesnt even go to the microwave. Due to the turntable not spinning it took me 8 minutes to cook something that was only supposed to take 2 minutes and 20 seconds. And there are no power outlets next to the bed. The only open outlets in the room is the 1 by the entrance and the 1 over the vanity counter by the bathroom. Otherwise it's great. Only $52.50 a night. Air conditioner almost works too well. Cable and Wi-Fi. Mini fridge.

Reserved a room on Priceline and check in took a few seconds. The side walks were kinda slimy but I'll chalk that up to the weather. Room was clean but the shower was kinda nasty. Check out was just as quick as check in.

The light fan in restroom hung down with wires showing. Very unprofessional.

GOOD PLACE TO STAY! Good place to stay in town good room & comfortable bed. Next to dollar general. Very friendly friend staff. We stay 14 night we never have any problem. We read the review online what the people write is not that type of motel. Miss management problem at that time. The guy working on front desk is very helpful & we talk to him about review he told us that before he came at that time manager is not doing any think & lots of people complain about motel, but now it under new management. We need tell the people done go on review just try one at that place you get very good service than high franchise. Thank you guy we will visit your place again every time we come in town or around near town…

Well let's start with this the people there were Indians, I don't have a problem with them, but they had to have there children translate for them which I think is wrong. Well anyways I booked online for a rate of 45 a night for the senior discount becuase I had my great grandmother well when at the desk he told me that they don't have discounts so we ended up paying 72 dollars. We thought it would be nice becuase it says they have a pool, and all the amenities you could think of in your room. Well they lied. The child at the front desk said the pool hasn't been open for over 2 years. Our room did not have anything in it besides a t. V. And two beds. It was so scary we left and went somewhere else. Would not recommend to anybody.

Shame there aren't negative Stars! Stay Away from this Hotel! It looks nothing like the pictures — it is HORRIBLE & that is putting it mildly… Had we not arrived at midnight — and every other hotel been sold out — we would have turned around and left! As it was — we didn't even stay the second night (& no they didn't refund us the money — we just couldn't force ourselves to go back! ) 1) the Motel is in total disrepair! 2) the swimming pool is closed and surrounded by a broken yellow wood fence (& what looked like that yellow crime scene tape — though I didn't go any closer to look). 3) The sheets were stained, there was "black dirt" crumbs — (I decided to take a magnified picture to make sure it wasn't a bed bug — that one wasn't (but it looked a lot like a dried booger! ) 4) the mirror was broken, 5) the shower curtain mildewed, 6) the toilet didn't flush 7) the toilet paper holder was hanging out of the wall… & yes — I took pictures — so Im not just ranting :-).

You get what you pay for is all I can say and they don't give points for your stay.

You get what you pay for. So if you don't care about cleanliness then $40 is a good deal. My opinion spend a few extra Dollars some where else. Was paying by the week and left half way threw one week and refused a refund for 3 days.

Very good hotel for the money. Everyone is super nice. They do a great job cleaning the rooms been here for a week so far… great value all the way around… you won't find a better deal!

We were limited on motels with this being 4th of July weekend. We chose to stay here because of it having an outdoor pool intsead of indoor. We get there to check in to find the pool with green, mossy water. It had the swimming ladder handles floating in the pool, empty old beer bottles around the pool, and hoses everywhere. The pool obviously was not able to be used. We were told a pipe had just broken that week. The beer bottles and all of the moss that was in the pool says it had been there longer than a week. All we were offered in compensation for this was a use of a cot if we needed. Secondly, we booked 2 rooms with king size beds. When we get there, we only had 1 king size bed and a room with 2 double beds. We were told that we could get a cot if we wanted for an additional $10.00 per cot. The water smells and tastes like dirt but that could have just been the city possibly. The rooms were ok and could smell paint, so apparently they had recently been painted. But to top everything off, the air conditioner in one room hardly cooled the room and the air conditioner in the other room just did not work. We had to go purchase fans to be able to stay some what comfortable in these rooms. It was so hot in one room, that we had to open the door just to get some cool air that night. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. One of my daughters also noticed an empty whiskey bottle under the mattress.

I just stayed here for several nights and it was fine. Earlier reviews indicate this place was in terrible shape. Perhaps it's had renovations and is under new management. It was clean and quiet except for occasional street noise, which is unavoidable when a motel has all exterior doors. The staff was friendly and I had no problems staying here.
