I haven't needed much, but the room is nice and clean, and the place is quiet.
Pretty awesome hotel… rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable… helpful friendly staff… the keurig in the room is a very nice touch. The pool is nice a bit small but that's not a problem… and the fitness center is really top notch. One of cleanest and nicest hotels I have been to highly recommend.

We had a reservation with confirmation number for two adjoining rooms which we booked a week ahead. We went to check in shortly after check in time and were told there were no adjoining rooms left. When we presented our confirmation number to the front desk worker, she basically just stared at us and said nothing. We explained again that we had a reservation and she continued to stare at us and then said “well, they were all rented out last night”. She then said “ you have two rooms next to each other”. We explained that won’t work, because we have kids, and that’s why we reserved adjoining rooms. The front desk person just basically stood there and offered no help, never offered to get her manager to help, never offered any apology or any help whatsoever. We then cancelled the two rooms and she just shrugged her shoulders and said “ok… cancelled”. So, I guess holiday inn is doing so well they don’t need any business, because we will never, ever attempt to stay in one ever again. And I ask you, just what good does it do to call ahead, make a reservation, obtain a confirmation number if they do not honor any of that? And on a side note, maybe they should screen their employees or at least let them know that they should be there to assist guests instead of just standing there staring ahead. Honestly, people, do not stay at the chanute holiday inn express.
