Stayed a month here. I will stay again if we're in the area again. Has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The beds were really comfortable. Spacious room we had. Was not disappointed at all. Maids did a good job each time they clean and put new sheets on the beds.

— bug “nests” on the walls and ceilings
— Spit on the faucet
— every towel had stains
— hair IN the bed

Great place to go has everything.

Nice pool (spa was nice and hot), clean, quiet… The only reason they received four stars is that they changed my room three times and my refrigerator didn't work… Didn't want to change rooms again…

We stayed here mid-week. We arrived late at night. The front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. The hotel had an awesome view of the Riverwalk. The room was clean and smelled fresh, unlike many hotels. I noticed the lamp wasn't working so I moved the table to plug it in and there was a towel behind the nightstand from a previous guest. The carpet was a little stained. But the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and had great water pressure. The bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was okay. They ran out of eggs, but the kitchen lady made us more. We were disappointed that they didn't have hot chocolate, only coffee, which neither of us drink. All and all, I would stay there again. We didn't use the pool or the gym, but they are there if you are looking for either of those things.

I felt welcome the moment We walked through the front doors of this hotel. Amy was working at the front desk when We arrived without a reservation. She made us feel welcomed and gave us a beautiful room for the night. We will definitely stay at the Le Ritz Hotel & Suites again. With all the Hotels in this area were sure glad we picked this one. The hotel is amazing. My fiance and I have came here for the last 5 years for his birthday and our anniversary and we are never disappointed. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. We will definitely continue to come back.

We didn't use the swimming pool so can't comment on that. The hotel has a old feel, but it is meant to be like that. Some people say it's outdated, for a modern hotel it would be, but, that's the team. The staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was very good, loads on selection and replenished very fast (considering we were in tour with 36 people). Beds were comfortable. However. Wifi did not work and the bedside light was broken. Would be 4 star otherwise. Not a bad hotel overall.

Got to hotel and found out somehow my reservation was cancelled! sales manager Shelby Wilson told me not to worry and she got me a room. It’s so refreshing to find pleasant and helpful people when you travel especially when you’ve had a stressful day like I was having. Very happy I chose to stay at LeRitz!

We stay at LeRitz every time we stay in Idaho Falls. This was our fifth visit, and the hotel is comfortable and clean, reasonably priced, and the staff goes above and beyond. We will be returning at the end of the year. I definitely would recommend them.

Comfortable large room. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Has a smell when first entering and coffee machine was broken but excellent otherwise.

Would probably stay here again, but hopefully they make a few upgrades. Carpets are getting old, worn and outdated. Rooms were OK. Nothing fancy, and happy we got a deal. Front staff was friendly and accommodating.

With permission from staff, the breakfast area proved to be spacious and perfect for our family dinner and visit. Kids loved the pool and adults loved the hot tub.

We liked our room. The swimming pool turned our daughters hair green. Chinese tour busses over ran the buffet. The staff was pleasant.

I stayed at Le Ritz on my way to Ogden. Based on the online reviews, it seemed like a lower priced but nice option. The person checking me in was very nice. But that is where the nice part ended. The room was extremely outdated — very dark with peeling wallpaper. The carpet was very dirty, with a significant layer around the baseboards. There was a white, crunchy palm-sized stain on the ottoman in front of the chair. In the bathroom, there was a dried booger smeared on the door. The next morning, I went to the lobby to try the breakfast. Almost all of the choices were empty and when I tried to find a person at the desk, no one showed up. I just left my room cards on the counter and left. Absolutely never going there again.

The staff was amazing and so helpful considering we arrived so late at night. I will return here anytime.

I loved staying there! The room that we stayed in was the king bed suite with a Jacuzzi tub. But it also has two full bathrooms with showers, as well as a living room with a fireplace, two TV's, a balcony, comfy couch, just a really great place for any occasion! I loved the classic vibe and the home style atmosphere! Would definetly recommend it to a friend! Plus for the price you can't beat it for a weekend getaway!

Great hotel. Good breakfast clean rooms and really appreciated that it's pet friendly.

This place was horrible. The t. V. Wouldn't work and instead of them fixing it they told me to go call the number on the t. V. Still didn't work so we got moved to a room that was disgusting. I went and complained and all I was told is sorry and asked if I needed something to clean the bathtub with.

Not cheap room clean price good breakfast simple and Motel 6 the same.

The food was good and the workers were extremely helpful. They answered all questions I had about the city and surrounding areas. It made the stay so much better.

They are very friendly. We forgot to get swim diapers and the receptionist gave us some. The cleaning staff has been very nice.

Hôtel is nice… but, rooms are old, found some sort of rolled up piece of cloth in the bathroom area. Toilets barely flush down pre let alone anything else. Beds are full of kinked springs. Hot tub doesn't work. Pool is COLD! Haven't had the breakfast yet, but I'm not holding my breath and I'm expecting to be disappointed.

We really like the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. The location is fantastic! Service is usually good and the full breakfast is very nice.

My daughter who is 18 tried to rent a room. The lady at the front desk Kayla was totally rude to her said she had to be 23… However the rules on your website says 18. The lady wouldn't let me her 43 year old mother rent it for her either. She obviously didn't like them her and her friend. She was totally unprofessional and rude! We all live locally and rent rooms from this locations and have for many years. I always recommend this hotel to my family and friends. After this experience I will probably tell them to shop around.

Wonderful location… walk outside and you can take an enjoyable walk down to the falls. Room was nice, bed very comfy. Television was hard to to use. Our toilet flooded and it took them a long time to get to our room… as we bailed water with a paper cup… hence carpet got drenched… we had to ask for another room… it was not offered. Breakfast was just okay. The toilet issue is what gave this a 3…

Nice accomodations a reasonable prices. Happy to find them for a one night stay after total solar eclipse when many hotels were taking advantage of the event to charge outrageous prices. Staff and accommodations were great.

This place is awsome! Bed was comphy and breakfast was great. Reasonably priced.

I got to say that I had doubts. But it was a very nice place. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Worst experience I have had in Idaho Falls. The front desk gal had zero personality, the vending machine was empty, the water fountain was warm, and the television you could barely see from both beds at the same time. We come to IF twice a month and usually get better service from the Best Western down the street. I will not reccomend this dump for anything.

There was no one at the front desk for 20 minutes. Then our room wasn't clean and ready to go into until over an hour after check in time… had to wait to get in the room. There were no towels at the pool. The pool had too much chlorine. Breakfast had some things missing. And the a/c couldn't quite keep the room cool. Things are a bit rough there it seems.

Nice and clean hotel. Amazing water pressure and volume in shower! The hotel is right across a paved walking/biking trail/greenbelt on the snake river. Very nice. Good breakfast too, with eggs, french toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc. Pretty reasonable price too. Try Jaker's steak house and grill (3 blocks away) Good steaks and burgers, etc. Neat little town of about 56, 000 people.

The location is lovely, right on the river. The rooms are spacious but a bit dated and dingy there was even some trash and personal effects left behind in odd corners of the room. Some of the lighting in the room didn't work and the room layout was a bit awkward. The breakfast bar wasn't very good. They constantly were out of items. This was exacerbated by the presence of a very large, loud and rude foreign tour group staying at the hotel and making a bit of a mess of everything. A side bonus, the next door restaurant, the Sandpiper, is excellent for steak and seafood. Not cheap, but not really overpriced considering the quality.

We love this place. 24hr pool, awesome staff, really nice rooms (we love their Jacuzzi suite! ) and a great hot breakfast of to name a few; scrambled eggs, country potatoes, biscuits and gravy, and of course waffles! They have amazing views of the snake river, lovely greenbelt, ducks and geese, and the wonderful Idaho Falls Temple. Highly recommended, it's our only choice when visiting town!

Very nice variety for breakfast. Very nice receptionist.

The pool was incredibly murky, there should never be a reason to find a leaf in an indoor hot tub. The hot tub controls were broken as well. The peeling paint on the pool walls was beautifully accentuated by the flickering, broken fluorescent lights and the smooth jazz that's been looping since the sixties. The chlorinated swimming pool makes for a better biology expirement than my eighth grade terrarium ever did. Luckily the towels didn't run out when we got there, there was still one left for the five of us. If you're feeling nostalgic for dial-up, the free Wi-Fi will fill that void. If you're lucky enough to connect in the first place, you'll spend the next hour reconnecting every few minutes until you give up and watch television on the high-tech CRT television. You can fit as much stuff as you want in the closet with out worrying about it not closing; our closet was sitting off its track meaning we could fit as much as we wanted. The toaster French toast was alright, and it went well with the powdered tang, but I have to say, the powdered eggs weren't quite my thing.

The location is great right by the falls the service is also good I've stayed here several times now. The Continental breakfast is decent just like most others you'll have. One thing is the rooms are a little dated not dirty, but you can tell it's a little bit older especially when you go into the bathrooms.

They had very nice rooms here, a big pool, and a complimentary buffet breakfast. There was also a nice riverside walk to take just beside the hotel. I really enjoyed staying here — it was as a hotel stay should be — you don't feel like you're home, but you have the amenities of home plus some. :)

Always been a GR8 place to come and relax. 24 hour pool and hot tub sold me. I hate gittin' out at night closings. The customer service just an added benefit.

It was a nice place. The breakfast was not great. Too many people and not enoutg food.

Five things we liked about Le Ritz in idaho falls… 1. We got the late night night special, what a deal! 2. The staff was so nice! We needed extra sheets and blankets they gave them with ease! 3. Great selection for breakfast! Especially impressed with meatless option since my brother is vegetarian! 4. Super clean! The bathroom, hotel room, lobby, hallways. Very impressed! 5. Hotel pool and hot tub was very relaxing after a long day of driving! If you're looking for a great deal, this is your place! Keep up the great work Le Ritz! I'll definitely stay here next time I'm going through town!

Great location. Staff was friendly. A little overpriced for the quality of the room. Room was small, and could have been cleaner.

New tvs with multiple hbo channels. The internet was good, the rooms are nice, although it can be hard to find an outlet near the desks in many rooms. The pool was nice and warm and the breakfast is great.

I have been to worse, but not by much. Name is so misleading… Walked into my room which was basically the size of a dorm room, and was met with a strange odor and dirty carpet. Asked for a different room but they wouldn't change me. Opened the mini fridge and was met with a pile of empty candy wrappers. Key points: smelled bad, dirty, unpleasant.

Loved it, my self and my family have stayed here four times now. And the hotel staff go out of their way to make us feel at home. Many people travel here and just DUMP their emotional problems at this place. Its not the hotels fault. At breakfast, people will cut you off. I don't know why since we have never experienced a problem, the meal at the buffet has eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and pre made french toast sticks and a waffle maker. No big deal. There was plenty of food. And what is best about this hotel is that it has a private access to the river. There is NOT another hotel that has a bridge over the drainage going to the river. Its so beautiful, its meant for kids who need to stretch their legs. I do recommend staying inside the main building and not near the elbow of the hotel where people exit at all hours to go to the Snake River.

The room and hotel fine. Service was terrible. We were told that they take care of rides to the airport, that they'll use their shuttle or pay for a taxi, just to let them know 15-20 minutes ahead of time. We had a 5:50 AM flight, hoping to leave at 4:50. We called the front desk before 4:30, and she said she'd call a taxi. We were waiting out front until 5. We were at the front desk and no one was there. We were calling the number that the sign said to, and no one picked up. We finally found someone back in the kitchen, and asked about our taxi. She said that it couldn't come, their shuttle person wasn't there, and she didn't know what to do. She made NO attempt to help us. We called another hotel (on our own) to see if their shuttle could take us, and they were prompt and helpful. Because of them, we JUST made our flight. Needless to say, that got a very nice review, and I'm not very happy with the service at Le Ritz.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst hotel I've ever been to. I've had my fair share of hotels all across the nation and all across the world, but I have to say, this hotel was DISGUSTING! First, the name is very misleading… Le Ritz… it's definitely not even close to any nice things that the actual Ritz would offer, also there were many foreign tourists, people, its not even like a nice French or European hotel! I will post pictures, but there was mold on ceiling, walls of shower and floors in bathroom. The tub didn't drain at all, I was standing in 1 ft of water after my shower, there was hair and dirt in sheets when I pulled comforter down (comforter was a nasty polyester), carpet had a dirt ring around the whole room, and finally the breakfast was awful… eggs and gravy but no meat at all, oh and for my European friends, definitely no cheese! Le Ritz, you have failed as a botel!

From Yellowstone National Park to Salt Lake City passing through, lived here, a good hotel: it is next to the Idahofalls Park landscape, the hotel has a Spa, 5 minutes drive home as well. The Chinese restaurant Happy Chianese Restrant recreation Park. Idaho Falls was an unexpected surprise!

Honestly, if I know anyone is traveling to this area I tell them to skip out on this hotel and find somewhere better. They are not very organized, service isn't all that great, internet is TERRIBLE no matter what they tell you — it's always slow not matter how many or how few people are staying there that night. It smells kind of weird like a mix between old hotel and cigarette smoke. Their carpet in their lobby is stained and raggedy looking. Their rooms are way over priced for what they offer and they haggle you with the prices. They will try to upsell the rooms to you — so you better look for the cheapest room online first before you try to rent a room. They'll only lower the price once they know that you caught them trying to upsell you. Their breakfast is mediocre at best — pretty much all carbs and the only thing that is "fresh" is their eggs which they seem to run out of a lot. I've also heard employees talking about how they dislike the way the hotel is managed — which suggests that many of my complaints are due to poor management style or general lack of pride in the way their hotel looks and runs. All in all — ma and a pop's places are usually fun and more cozy to stay in — this one however is better left un-experienced — especially when better service can be found elsewhere in town.

I was pleasantly surprised. For the price it was fine. No bathtub but was clean.

We called 2 fully booked chain hotels that didn't even recommend the Le Ritz. We called Le Ritz, an independent hotel, that had rooms available. We had a river view room, all new bedding, new carpet, new fluffy towels, very nice breakfast. We would definitely stay there again. We met the owner who was very personable and extremely willing to accomodate. Do not hesitate to stay at the Le Ritz.

The staff is super friendly and efficient. The lobby is elegant. Yes, the rooms are dated but the view is great. The pool area had an issue with the heating system so the area was chilly but the kids didn't mind. Nathan and Jodie very helpful.

Great Hotel. Really nice staff and its very quiet. I loved being able to be by the river. We will definitely stay there again.

It was perfect for only 2 nights and visit the Yellowstone park from there. The staff was very friendly.

We made a reservation on line through Expedia and a mistake was made through Expedia with the amount of people staying in our room, so I fixed it, or so I thought. After traveling around 12 hours from California, 9pm at night we arrive to find out we don't have a room. I am pretty sure I was dealing with the manager and I heard her before I got up there telling another person who had just shown up looking for a room, that they had rooms left. When I got up there to front desk she told me I had canceled and I told her we hadn't, that a mistake was fixed by Expedia, but that we should have a room. She told me to call them and that once we got it fixed we would have a room. So we called Expedia, who were great. They put me on hold while they called the hotel and I watched the Manager and other person take forever to get back to the Expedia call. Then I hear the Manager get back on the phone and treat the Expedia person very rudely and say they had no rooms left. She could have saved us one room knowing we were there for a room. We ended up spending another two hours trying to find a room since it was graduation week at BYU-Idaho. We were only there to take our daughter home. Luckily for Expedia we finally found another place, half our back up the freeway. I will never, ever make another reservation here! When you see a tired family with kids, you would think they would try to help, but our money was worth nothing at this establishment.

Beware! Looks can be deceiving. Gorgeous lobby and that's where it ends. NO elevator, dingy towels, grossly dirty carpets and entire building reeks of smoke. Eeek.

A fantastic place to stay and great people that go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and quiet.
