Review of Country Inn & Suites 2*

Stayed here on business for two weeks and providing my list of pros and cons. Pros: -Great morning staff. -You're provided free breakfast between 6:30 and 9:30am. -Free cookies. -Free Wifi; was impressed on how fast the internet was. -Had the luck of having my room upgraded because they had received a large amount of guests. -Room was generally clean, soft mattress and pillows; HD TV — has just about all you need to watch (sports, movies, weather, etc. ) Cons: -The hand rail found in the elevator needs to be fixed. Only one end of the rail is fastened to the wall, but the other end slides up and down if you lean on the rail. Down the road, someone could get hurt. -Could use cosmetic touches such as re paintings; my bathroom door swings open if left at a certain angle and hits the bedroom door. The bedroom door has chipped paint from that door being hit so much. -Toilets; my toilet had a hard time flushing, the knob to turn would stutter when you pushed it down-sometimes keeping it from working all the way. The good found in the bad: -I moved the sofa (pull out bed) to better position it in the room I had and found spider webs and, seemingly, dead bugs. I was relatively disappointed about it so I left a note for house keeping (I didn't want to start anything with management yet) and as long as it got cleaned I wouldn't have made it a big deal. The room was cleaned with a returned note that my remark was sent to management just in case I was still dissatisfied. The next morning they offered to move me to another room if I wanted, but I kindly refused. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The cons were not troublesome when you take into consideration the free food, tv, bed, free gym utilities (3 machines) and a pool. Cons would be fixed as the hotel does appear to be in an upgraded mode.
