Worst stay ever. Bud bug are very active and aggressive. I went to Management and she had the worse attitude ever. The rooms are nasty and the walls are dirty.

No one with any other choice but sleeping on the street should stay in this place. Rooms are big, old and out dated. They are also covered with mold, not just a little black mold in the bathroom but on everything. Mold on the sheets {black mold growing on everything} and furniture. Water bugs all over the place, refrigerator would not open very far. Called to say we would be checking in late, no one was there to get us our room, had to spend extra money to get hotel with pets in tow. Spent one night there with no other choice, toilet flooded, two inches of water everywhere, housekeeping came and used a shop vac to clean it up, floor warped and curled up. This place should be shut down and not allowed to take peoples money. I could not post without giving it a star. Would give it negative stars if possible to do.

Room was very spacious and well decorated. The outdoor patio is lovely.

More like the Roach Motel! Ok, so aside from the 2 live and 2 dead roaches I found in my unit… 60% of the lights weren't working. In order to even get my room, which I paid for in advance a few hours earlier, I had to bang on the door like the police per a tenant who resided there. The guy who worked there, Mike, didnt open the door even though we could see him through the window watching tv. I called a few more times and on my final aren't he answered… Said he'd be there in 15 minutes… 5 minutes later he walked out the front door right in front of where I was parked. I asked for a refund after seeing the room and Mike made sure NOT to apologize, but did mention that most hotels have roaches lol. I got my refund and left… Never to return, but very insistent on writing this.

First time I was at Garden Villas I thought it was a pretty decent place, but not so much today.

Hotel staff is nice, rooms are spacious.

Not too bad. Some rooms are a little rough.

You can only commit credit card FRAUD for so long before you are busted.

Great hotel with nice employees. Everyone greets you in the morning and in the afternoon. Housekeepers listen to any type of amenities you may need. Night shift needs some work as they seem greatly understaffed during the night. I had to call them for checking into the room past their closing hours which is 5:30pm. The man who handles night shift seems stressed out and overworked! He did his job well. Rooms were very spacious and well decorated. Never have a I been to a hotel room that looked more like someones personal home. Owner is there during the weekdays and can give you discounted rates that no other standard hotel can give. She is extremely sweet and understanding!

I really enjoyed my stay here. We stayed 9 months and the whole time it was comfortable, quiet and clean. Amy and the cleaning staff do an exceptional job keeping​ it clean. Ms. May was an absolute sweetheart. The staff was super friendly. Our room had a 50" TV which was a plus. The Maintenance staff fixes issues in a timely manner. Overall great stay!

My room was like a studio apartment. It's got a full kitchen, full size refrigerator, large microwave mounted over the stove top, cabinets, table, 4 chairs, two beds, huge room, large screen TV, utility chairs, plenty of cable channels, it was quiet nobody bothered me, wasn't kept awake at night, the staff was attentive, took care of everything I asked them to. My only negative is, the bathroom is small, functional but small. Water pressure and hot water, plenty of it…

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at Garden Villas. The huge, spacious room with a full kitchen and fridge, desk, table and chairs, couch and places to put things has made it feel like a little home. The low rates are also a huge blessing and the owner is so sweet and kind, she has truly been a blessing along with her staff. Garden Villas is close to grocery stores and Walmart. It's a block away from the hospital and right across from the beautiful campus of Valdosta State University, where we have enjoyed walking. May (the owner) loves flowers and so there are happy flowers at Garden Villas as well. Garden Villas is older and may not look as nice as some other hotels on the outside, but I've yet to see a hotel with such spacious rooms, unless you payed a fortune. It is also pet friendly, yes, you have to pay a pet deposit fee, but that's only fair, cleaning up after pets can be a challenge. Garden Villas has been quiet 98% of the time, good neighbors and good place to stay.

An older place but has a lot of potential. Had to stay for 30 days waiting for my house to be ready to move in and I maybe saw one bug. They moved our rooms because the TV broke. Had everything we needed to live for that time except an oven. And definitely the best rates. I did rewash all the dishes but that's just because I wanted to make sure they were clean.

Terrible Dirty lying hotel. There prices online is not the right price. If they say the room is 70 they want 100, the excuse is the internet is offline. After Paying the high deposit of 100 the saw I had money in my pocket and ask for another 150 pet deposit. When I refuse and said that was what the first deposit say and it on the receipt. They said that there receipt was wrong. When I said I leave I'm not paying 575 dollars for a week. I had to call the police to get my money back. They tried to say I didn't pay them but I had the receipt and it was on camera. And this was the owner. Not worth a half of star. Go at your own risk.

This place is FAR from being a " villa". Hard mattress, dirty, dingy kitchenette. Roaches, old outdated cracked pink tile in bathrooms. Microwave had some kind of black pellets like rat poop or something in it. Stove top was greasy. When I pointed out this to kid at front desk, he said it was minor and I could clean it with some kitchen spray. ME? How about YOU or maid clean it? Save your money n stay elsewhere.

The maid was extremely polite and helpful. Nicest African American lady I've met, eager to help and did her job well. Other then that — the owners kid, son, works the front desk — Asian kid. He incompletely and utterly useless — rude, not helpful, and plays video games all day. For what you PAY you can't expect the ritz Carlton. It's a CHEAP dumpy motel that is $500/month. Owner is nice though. Rooms are pretty spacious, internet worked for me all the time — I was in room 111. Stayed there for one month. About as long as I could handle it. My door could be opened without a key, I could jimmy the door so I never renewed my key… other then that if you just need a place to rest and stay for the night don't expect much but the beds are mediocre at best and the cable works. Got me through what I needed in a cheap way. If you don't want a cheap motel the. Stop being so darn cheap. Go spend money and stay at the holiday inn.

We stayed for a week and had a room with a kitchenette. Service was okay, the bed was horrible, and we had dishes that were not cleaned and put away probably.

I am usually not one to complain and it takes a LOT to bother me, but this was one of the nastiest places I've ever stayed at. It is old, outdated and not one bit comfortable. The bathroom walls were "white" with yellow water stains everywhere from an apparent previous leak. Bathroom door was "white" but looked like it had never been wiped down… as there were dirty finger prints from previous users. Bathtub was dirty and without a drain plug (not that I would have taken a bath in there anyways). You could see in the drain, which was nasty. Bulbs were burned out of the ceiling lights and every bulb that did work was very dim. Bed spreads are made of a weird feeling polyester type fabric that I've never seen in a hotel before. After folding covers down and moving pillows, there was an odd 4-5" strip of pressboard that was in between the mattress and headboard — as if to cover up the gap that would be there from a short mattress being used. You could see underneath it, but I tried to keep from looking too closely, fearing I might find something I wouldn't have wanted to see. I jokingly said that I should have brought a black light, but I am so glad I didn't. I am certain that I would have been sick. The pillows are lumpy and bumpy, as if Santa from the mall just used them under his costume for a big belly. The bed was also uncomfortable and you could feel the springs coming up through the mattress. Free Wi-Fi? Umm… not hardly.
