Great food and service, prices were fair as well.

The hallway smelled like urine and also smelled like mothballs. The bathroom was dirty and had roaches. Would not recommend this place. When we checked out the desk person said that he would pass on the information. Not worth the money.

The rooms are clean and cozy, the staff is always welcoming with a nice smile and the restaurant is the best steak in town which is right on the property! The beds are very comfortable and the view is very nice. You also can’t beat the prices!

This motel was disgusting. We were in building six. Seeing 9+stars on Booking. Com led us to think it was the perfect place to stay in Valdosta that accommodated our dogs. The hallway reeks of mold and urine. The room had a musty urine smell. The room was not well cleaned. The exterior door had a jagged edge on the push bar that snagged my shirt and ripped it. The place is packed like a rest stop with a sports bar sharing the parking lot. The photos on Booking. Com are also very deceptive. They make it look nice. It is not. We requested and received a refund when the night clerk admitted that if we didn't like the smell in that building then we would not be happy in the other that had openings. Wtf. Do not stay here. If you are here for an evacuation, stay somewhere else.

Awesome hotel for the price. Definitely my new favorite place to stay. Great restaurant and bar on site also. Best place to stay in dosta.

We come here when returning from visiting family in South Florida. This is our halfway point and it's clean, quiet, and has cable TV. There's also a mini refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. I never trust the sheets, floors, walls, etc. But that probably says more about me than this place. I never risk it and bring my own sheets to lay on top of theirs. The breakfast is NOT vegan friendly, but it's located next to many fast food restaurants and a Starbucks where you can get breakfast in the morning.

Great all the way around. I have family in valdosta now and Kinderlou us the biggest bang for your buck. Great service, nice employees, clean rooms and a restaurant to boot!

We had a great stay for the weekend. We were there with friends going to Wild Adventures. The motel is reasonably priced and within easy driving distance to food, shopping and the theme park. With individual AC units, it’s hard to keep the humidity out. The regular HVAC systems flush out the humidity. The only complaint I have is the tub did not drain very well.

Reception was outstanding, very kind and helpful. Room was clean overall, with bathroom being so clean and nice. Just 2 items worth noting, a number of scraps of paper (from fast food straws that we did not have, lol) between beds and night stand and the center upper window seal had leaked during the thunderstorm and there was water all over bottom window track, seal, sash, wall underneath and a pretty large puddle on top of the a/c unit that I needed to towel off before starting unit. I did leave a note but did not contact front desk at my husbands request.

Only stayed one night, was coming to surprise my friend who was graduating college. Very nice, good location. The Austin Restaurant was delicious.

I was very pleased with my stay at Kinderlou Inn. It can use some external updating to increase appeal, but my room was comfortable and clean. In addition, the staff was extremely nice from the front desk to the people who were cleaning the rooms upon check out. They have a very nice screened in, with ceiling fans, party area that can probably host 150 people, pool, volleyball court, and some other type of court for a game I do not know. Also, they have a bar or bar/restaurant behind the front desk that I wanted to check out but just didn't have the time. Price was very decent and a short drive to wild adventures. My only con really with tje place other than the external looks possibly getting updated somehow, although it is not bad, is the TV/cable options. I'll admit, I kind of ran through it fast, but not many channels were authorized. Couldn't find anything for the kids, but we really didn't need it. They tired themselves out at park and fell asleep quick, but at first, was plagued with channels not authorized. After 5 minutes and finding very few, we all dropped the remote and focused on other stuff. The channels could have been there, not sure. I won't let it effect my rating, my sleep was great, it was comfortable, it is what I expected from a good stay.

Stay here every month for the Georgia Florida Youth Rodeo in Quitman. Breakfast buffet could use a little improvement but other than that well worth the money! Right after my original rating things went down hill quickly! Checked in on a Friday night and there was a dirty plate of food and the table and a chip bag on the floor, returned Saturday evening and the trash was still lying around front desk personnel didn't really seem to care! This past Saturday stayed again the room above use was loaded down with teenagers from a prom, after dealing with until 3AM we called front desk and they said they would take care of it but the noise continued until 5AM. Again spoke with the manager on duty and she seemed to have cared less! After staying here for two years I will never stay again nor recommend anyone to stay here!

Ok I am giving it a 2 because of the staff at the front desk… They were friendly. We checked in around 5 pm and was greeted with a smiling face and a sign that said the pool was closed for renovation or repair something like that, in other words no pool. Okayyyy we were not privy to that information when booking but, it's a pool, I'll get over it. After paying almost $30 more than the person in front of me, for the same exact type of room, we get our key card and go off to find our room. The smell in the hallway leading to the room smelled like a funeral home. I'm not sure what that smell is, but that's what it was. We walked in our room and immediately the bed looked like the covers were thrown back up from the previous guests, the floor wasn't vacuumed and there was a patch of some sort, with hair, stuck to the blanket. EW! I just wanted a room to shower, sleep, and let me go in the morning. They gave me another room which was much better, but probably not good enough to go back. It had an odor and half the lights didn't work and the coke machine took my dollar (haha) little things add up and start getting on your nerves especially when I paid well over some of the other guests.

We stop here to break up our 12 hour trip. Great food gr8 prices 2 restaurants on site.

Exceeded expectations. They had a room for us last minute pretty late at night, easy check in/check out. Super affordable! Rooms are old but more importantly theyre clean! Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast. Literally right off of 75, would recommend!

My husband and I needed a little getaway from home. We stayed the weekend here thinking it would be every bit of what I heard from coworkers. The room and the MATTRESS was dated! Voiced my concerns and was moved to another room only to have my husband sleep on the floor and both us tired and hurting the next day. Informed the receptionist and she said as she was checking us out that the beds in the 600 building have been updated and that you have to request them… on the other hand the House keepers and Ms. Lula were great! I wasn't going to do a review but after thinking about our experience I felt it is best that I do. So anyone planning to stay at this hotel will make sure to request a room in the 600 building since it is not made public to everyone.

Not bad for the price. Pet friendly and nice to be close to the steak house on the property.

Fairly nasty place. Wouldnt negotiate on price which is ok. Went into bed and found random (human? ) hairs. Floor was strangely sticky felt like wearing my shoes. A little southern charm at breakfast they were playing a blackface movie. For price paid wasnt the worst.

Not bad. I got stuck in the back 40 even though it looked like there were plenty of rooms available in the nice area up front. Room had a slight funk to it but the place is pretty old and on the inside looks like the last renovations were done in 1985. The best part of this place is the restaurant. Awesome food. I think I would drive three hours just for the prime rib. Like a lot of other motels nowadays, they offer free breakfast but it is little more than coffee and bulk goods from Sam's Club. Nothing hot unless you nuke it or toast it. I might go back here on my travels just for the attached restaurant.

Last time we were here was fine but this time is not. Bathroom has hair from unknown sources, table in room has not been wiped down and has something all over the top of it in # 2 room. Was told no king rooms available on 1st floor after sending me into an unclean room and moved me to 2nd floor. LOL parking lot was empty at 4 am this morning, more rooms were available on 1st floor. Lost a good customer!

My first visit there. But the group I was with have been going there for 15 years. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. We were in 107 and it was quiet. The room had all amenities, t. V. Cable, coffee pot hot water. We sat around the pool after dinner it was all the way around a good experience. The steak house next door was a wonderful fearful experience. And we had a complimentary breakfast this morning. I would recommend it. Moderately priced.

We checked in late and out early as we were on a road trip but the employees we came across were very nice. We had the breakfast before leaving in the morning and the lady working was so patient with us even though we were slow due to having an infant. The room was nice, bed was comfy, and shower was hot.

I suppose not much should be expected when a hotel is literally feet from the interstate, but this place was disgusting. We checked in and then left within an hour to simply drive through the night because we couldn't stomach staying here. The room was so moldy it smacked you in the face upon entering, the door didn't secure properly, the toilet was dirty and has reminance that the previous guest left behind. The floor wasn't vacuumed and had crushed potato chips and fruit loops all over, everything was covered in a combination of dust, finger smudges and a 'mysterious' white residue. Just spare yourself the money and keep driving.

Excellent hotel to stay at! Everyone who works here has been beyond amazing, kind, and helpful especially with helping people who are evacuating from the hurricane! By far the best hotel experience I've had!

Looks good on the outside, nice pool and nice people. The rooms was clean and the beds was clean but has a bad smell in the room and I'm the halls. They have a volley ball bet and pool and other games, and breakfast in the morning. First night so far is okay. Just don't smell that good in the hallway.

Will not be back. Would not acknowledge the online price. Was 74.77 tax and all online. Ended up paying 87. Payed for 2 queen beds but gave us full size. Went to complain and no associates could be found. The bathroom was molded and mildewed. Just caked around the knobs. Drain and handle. One garbage can in bathroom. Coffee maker in bathroom. Microwave was brown but suppose to be white. The whole placed had an awful odor. The only upside was the pool was decently clean. And the beds looked clean. Very dissapointed for the price we paid. I mean you expect cheap to have some downsides. But dirty and disgusting is not entirely one of them. Will not stay here again. Mainly for the shower. But mostly because of the false advertising on their prices and not honoring it. Then not getting what we paid for.

I made the mistake of laying in the bed the first night with the intent just to stretch out as I had a lot to do for my daughters birthday… why did I do that? The bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep quickly and didn't wake up until the next morning. I enjoyed the suite we had… very spacious, which allowed us to set up decorations for her party. Very cozy… feels like you're home.

Great inn located right off interstate. Room was spacious, bed great, nice amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Super layout with pool, large screened area and breakfast with variety of hot and cold items. Would definitely repeat and recommend. Side note the restaurant next door was also awesome.

We stayed there because everything else was booked up and were pleasantly surprised! The price was excellent. The room was clean, breakfast was very good and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Would like to visit again in warmer weather and take advantage of the pool and outdoor area. Nice.

Service was good and they were very nice, but the Wi-Fi was abysmal in both rooms and the mini fridge didn't work well at all in the other.

The rooms were fine, though some things weren't quite updated. The only thing that wasn't up to par was the continental breakfast. Then again, some places don't even offer one.

I enjoyed my stay. It was better than I expected. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was disappointed with the breakfast. I felt like it was not a variety and I didn't like that you had to request certain items.

Kinderlou in provided s comfy bed to sleep in. The cleanliness was acceptable, the front desk clerks are very nice. Great for an overnight stay.

Clean rooms, nice linens (less bleach next time though), quiet, and friendly staff.

Tried Austin's for supper, the salads were excellent, the Delmonico and Prime Rib were thick and perfectly seasoned and cooked. We will definitely be back.

We went to eat at the hotel restaurant, Austins steakhouse. They brought out 3 salads then 10 minutes later, brought the rest of the salads. 20 minutes after getting our salad, we finally got our lunch. However, they brought a few plates here and there so no one I'm our party got their food at the same time.

The attached restaurant, Austin's steakhouse, has awesome food.
