First room had broken latch lock. Staff was great about changing rooms for us. They have a small but still okay sized pool. The pool was clean with plenty of seating around the pool. Remember to bring towel to the pool with you though. Beds and pillows were soft clean (white sheets, white pillows cases and white towels). Directly in front of the mall just a walk across the parking lot. Convenient to a lot of food and shopping options!

Cheap and decent. You get what you pay for, sometimes less but never more. Area seems okay, it's right next to a mall bit there wasn't a lot of foot traffic through the area This place was worth the money paid IMO. The front desk attendant was very nice and had us checked in in no time. Beds were comfortable and seemed clean as well as the restroom as small as it may have been. Also had a mini fridge and microwave and working a/c Definitely nothing fancy but I'm not looking for fancy (I classify as a "construction worker" who more or less works on the road and stay in many hotels. If you fall in to that category then you'll probably align with my views on accomidations)

Hotel sucks reservation was made for a downstairs room had to climb up stairs being a heart patient carrying suitcases I was told when I got there 15 more minutes in my room would have been gone at 10 at night when I'm prepaid for two nights used to stay at Baymont all the time had great service at other locations since Wyndham is taking over Baymont it's not the Baymont of the past where you got good service will never stay in another Baymont or Wyndham Hotel again.

We rented 2 rooms for our family to stay too. Perfect place to relax after a hot day at Wild Adventures. Comfy bed and cold air!

It's OK. Clean, comfortable. Could use a better breakfast.

For multiple reasons we didn't arrive to Valdosta until 2:30am to find out they had cancelled our reservation. Then, with minimal cars in the parking lot, they tell us all of their ground floor rooms are taken. THEN… at 8:30am their cleaning people are knocking on the door… and at 11am they are literally BANGING on the door 'throwing us out'. Decent place, horrid customer service!

Clean, inexpensive and directly across the street from the mall. Also, there are a dozen places to eat within walking distance.

Air conditioning was not consistent during the night. Room was really small for a kingsized bed. Nice bathroom.

Good value. Grounds are nicely maintained. Right next to mall and restaurants. Rooms could use a good scrubbing. The price was still good.

We did not arrive until after 10:00 PM, we had planned to drive right thru to our home in Florida. However after the third tire blow out in 1 day on a brand new pontoon trailer, with less that 700 miles total on trailer. It was a horrible day! We walk in Baymont happily greeted by Candi. With a great smile, what a sweet young lady. Candi could tell I was frustrated, she was so nice, asked if there was anything she could do, apologized because she had no bottom floor rooms. She then understood our concern of boat and trailer parking, she gave us the best room ever, to hear if alarm went on we could hear and shut off. Our room was number 401, on corner to watch over it. Our room was spotless clean, 42 inch flat screen, high end shampoo, and all personal products. It is in the mall parking lot, you have to watch GPS took us 8 mines out of town, called hotel and Candi gave us great directions. Not one bad experience at this hotel, everything was spotless. Early full warm breakfast then on the road south to Venice, FL home. Thank you, Candi, you are going places in life!

If nothing else come for the staff. I met my mom over here to celebrate her graduation from Valdosta university. It was a rainy crappy day that continued into the night. After getting back from the ceremony, Candy from the front desk was waiting with flowers for my mom at our room. She remembered all the cars we were driving, and even came up on her day off in the unfavorable weather just to make my mom feel special. Such a sweetheart! Rooms are comfortable and clean. Easy to find and near everything you could want. Thank you again Candy, you really made my mom's night!

Not a bad place for 1 night. Room was clean but needs some updates. Lots of stull close by (food and a mall).

We stayed here July 8th of this year as we were traveling to Fla. The room was the average hotel room. Yes it was a little outdated. The breakfast area is SMALL and we an a few other guest had to sit in the lobby an eat. There was a line just for the 1 waffle maker as a lady was making waffles for her family of 5 an not being considerate an allowing others to use it as well. Our BIG problem was when we got back from getting breakfast I went to open the door without the card and it opened. There was so security latch on the inside as it was broke off and then with finding out our door never locked we were fair game all night while we slept. My husband went to the office to complain about and asked if we could get some kind of discount due to the security of our room and they didn't give us a dime. Will never go back here due to this. The only reason I am giving it a 2 stars is because we were tired and they had a room unlike all the other hotels around. Guess something was going on that weekend.

Staff very Friendly, the free breakfast was good (waffles! ). The room dI'd not look like it had been appropriately cleaned.

I travel from Cincinnati to FL for work and stay here when I drive. Great place to stay for the night. Clean, affordable and plenty of restaurants, stores or anything else you would need close by. I would recommend Baymont if you need a place to stay. I know I'll be back when I head back up north.

Quick clean rooms friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and checking in and out was quick and easy.

Horrible experience and won't be booking at this hotel again. I do not have a problem with renting a room out to someone with a pet as long as it is CLEANED afterwards. There was pet hair on the floors, found a black bug of some sorts crawling across the floor and the floors need to be shampooed because we couldn't walk bare foot without our feet getting filthy. There was space around the door so we could hear outside noise very easily as well as the people in the neighboring rooms. However, the hospitality was nice. When we asked for extra sheets and towels, they were very nice. Our 2 year old son had wet the bed one morning and we asked them to change the sheets. They didn't just change the sheets, they changed the mattress out as well even though that didn't need to happen. So they went above the call on that one. All in all — Hospitality gets a 5 star and cleanliness gets a fat 0!

Easy access to 75 clean, friendly and accommodating. Plus good breakfast!

The room we stayed in was very clean, beds very comfortable and over all experience was very good and very friendly staff. It's under new ownership. Outside appearance is very nice! U uu.

They have 1 thieft working there. Stole my supplements thinking they were drugs. Becareful living your medicine there.

Do yourself a favor and stay here. I travel a lot and this is the best $70 something room I have found.

Very surprised. The hotel was newer looking. Rooms clean and comfortable. Not much room to eat included breakfast but they has waffles and cereal and yogurt. Great value for 53 bucks.
