Do not come here. I wish we realized how bad it was before midnight. That's when the bugs came out. After seeing the roaches, I realized the debris I found on the bed were pieces of roach. The first room had mold very visible in the bathroom. Likely from lack of vent fans in the bathroom. The room is poorly painted. The badly ripped, filthy carpet keeps me telling the kids to wear their shoes. The pool has so much chlorine, my eyes were burning after 10 minutes. It was so cloudy, we couldn't see the bottom. The pics on Google are likely lifted from other hotels as this one does not have an outdoor pool, nor is the decor nice. False advertising really. I wish I had uploaded the pictures I took when I was prompted by Google. I think the owner must be here since there is a nice car parked over the overhang at the entrance. Poor taste to say the least. Forced to get a hotel because of bad weather. In the future, I will pay extra to fly out of my local airport.

The only reason for the 1 Star rating would be for the size of the King Suite we were in. It was very, very large. There is a pull out couch, and separate sleeping area. So you can close the door and be in another room. Don't waste your money! When we arrived it took forever for someone to check us in and, there was hardly anyone at the front desk. Customer Service is definitely not a priority. The cleanliness of the facility has to be desired. It's like they, the company cuts corners. The bedding had stains along with the pillow cases. The carpet in front of the elevator was soaked with a water type substance that made walking into the elevator area really slick. I don't recall anyone ever using a vacuum. A maintenance worker walked the halls spraying a scented liquid on the carpet. I'm sure that was to keep the smell down. There was only one functioning ice machine located on the first floor. I don't think cleanliness is a priority. Lastly, there was a black Mercedes parked in front of the hotel arrival area. I'm sure this belonged to a owner, manager. Because it was there all the time. It made leaving and parking more difficult. This area is not a designated parking spot. Had this been a customer it would have been an issue.

On the service the room the place looked alright. But there are so many issues we encountered. When we first got there a maintenance cart was in the room. We had to go to the front desk to get them to take it out. Turns out they were replacing the alarm clocks. However the handy man who took the cart and replaced the clock was very kind and helpful. Then we found a pair of women's underwear that had been left in the bathroom under the sink. Calls into question how thoroughly they cleaned. Also, the faucet and knob in the shower didn't seem to be bolted to the wall properly and we're quite wobbly. Though it's a small thing, our remote didn't have a back to it so the batteries were falling out. We also noticed when we got back to the room in the afternoon of our second day that the door hadn't been properly shut and could just be pushed open. Also, only one bed had been made. I'm guessing the other had been left alone because there was a small bag on top. We weren't able to use the indoor pool because the water was cloudy and the whole room had an overwhelming scent of chlorine. It burned my eyes just to be in the room. Overall, the employees were kind and helpful, the facility just wasn't up to par.

Front desk staff is wonderful and friendly but please save your money and go somewhere else! The room we were given was absolutely filthy. Bed sheets were not changed and full of stains and food. The carpet was disgusting and stained. The room smelled strongly of pet urine and feces. Breathing that in could have been a hazard for my daughter with asthma. Thankfully we were given a new room that was much cleaner however there was still food on one of the blankets so we just chucked it into a corner of the room. We have been driving for 12 hours and absolutely exhausted so we took what we could get but for over $100 a night, I would expect at least a clean room.

First and foremost, the woman who works at the front desk and checked us in is wonderful. She's funny, kind, and helpful in navigating the area. She's fantastic. The hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. At first glance it's nice. But. The room was not clean; popcorn kernals on the floor, toilet was dirty, significant hole in the bathroom door, and the refrigerator in the second room we rented didn't work (not great when you need to keep insulin cold). The walls are thin and you can hear everything.

Good location for the airport with free shuttle and pet friendly. This stay was a bit noisy with kids running up and down the hall late ate night. Beds are comfortable.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! My family and I stayed at La Quinta in Union City, GA for one night on February 17, 2018 — upon checking out the next morning we found that my husband’s new truck had been broken into. They only broke the passenger side window and removed the glass so the alarm was not triggered. I went to the lobby and asked the person on duty to call the police. When they arrived the officer advised us that this was a frequent occurrence at this hotel — SO BEWARE — if you choose to stay here. The parking decal that they give you states at the bottom that the hotel is not responsible for any theft or damage to your vehicle. We did not notice this at the time of Check in nor did the person behind the desk bring it to our attention. We would have never paid money to stay where our vehicle is not protected. The guy behind the desk apologized but definitely was not surprised. Also upon check in earlier that day we were sent to a room that had not even been cleaned by housekeeping so they had to immediately transfer us to a new room. I guess this should have been our first hint to “get the hell out”. This was a traumatic experience for us. We’ve traveled to many places but never had anything like this happen. There was a camera right in front of our vehicle but the guy said that only the manager could look at it and he/she wouldn’t be in until Monday morning. Well we were checking out on Sunday and returning home to a different state.?

It's 3:15 am. Someone just pulled the fire alarm. All the guests are in the lobby or outside in the cold. Now the elevator won't work, and we have to climb stairs back to the fourth floor. Also: very poor check in experience — I was told that "check in starts at 3:00 pm. That's another 9 minutes. Go wait over there. " (Pointing at chairs with signs that said "wet cushions"). Then when I'm finally checked in, there's somebody else's nasty soap in the shower. Looks like it was never cleaned. Never, ever again, the La Quinta in Union City might be the worst overall hotel experience ever…

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. But poop was on my toilet seat and poop residue in the commode as well as a significant amount of hair in my bed. So I guess the cleanung staff tool away 2 stars. We had to stay here during a late night flight delay and were happy to have a place to lay our heads for 6 hours. We left before breakfast.

Horrible place to stay! If I could rate this lower I would. Dirty, smoked filled, 3rd world country hotel with scammers for the management staff. Was there last weekend for my aunts funeral. Was given a room that wasnt clean! Cigarette and weed ashes in the window seal. Sofa smelled like someone recently vomited on it. Carpet around the wall was dirty next to the baseboards like it wasnt vacuumed in a few years. Took 3 hours to get the remote fixed to change the tv. Let my 15 month old walk around the room and when she got in the bed she had a long blonde hair stuck to her foot. Carpet was stained with something red and cigarette burn marks. Not to include the ash marks on the bed sheets. On top of all that they charged us $250 for smoking in the room. Lol. Seems like management is cheating ppl out of there money to cover up their trashy rooms! Will be contacting corporate for this matter! Management there are crooked liars!

Only stayed one night. A very nice hotel. Clean. Bathroom was nice. The indoor pool was closed though. Breakfast was great, but not fabulous: classic hotel food of waffle, eggs, yogurt, fruit, breads.

Indoor pool is closed for "seasonal cleaning". (Jan, 2018). Bummer… since we were here for pool party. People and nice, the place is clean. Have necessary stuff. Spacious room and bathroom. Not necessarily fancy. Would I stay here? Yes!

They don't clean the beds. Hair, stains and crumbs everywhere. Fridge with food in it. Broken chair… Long time customer terribly disgusted by this one. Save your trip for a hotel that appreciates there customers.

Great place, absolutely loved it great people, great breakfast, me and my Hotboyz just wish the pool was open.

Highly upset! Booked this hotel ONLY for the inside pool. Called 2-3 days before our stay to make sure the pool was open. We were told that it was open and fine. Get here today and the pool is CLOSED. It is my daughters birthday weekend and this hotel has COMPLETELY ruined it! We drove all the way from Augusta, Ga… I WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN!

Good hotel. Decent breakfast bacon was soft. Its pet friendly. So some of my relatives rooms had a little doggy odor.

I prefer the suites union city the breakfast was great and a lot of room for six people and lot of good restaurant are near by.

Not sure this is a great area of hotel. Staff was nice, but hotel was a little secluded to find.

My room was good… it came with everything I could possibly need for my visit. I arrived a little early. They greeted me as I came thru the door. The CSR checked me right with all the information for my stay. The inside pool area was clean. The exercise room was clean. However, In my room, I did see 2 large dead cock roaches on the floor and wasn't too happy about it… other than that… my stay there was good.

First, for this to be an updated hotel our room WAS Not! The door WAS hard to open and close. The cabinet door to the fridge was BARELY hanging on. The desk chair WAS torn and should be at the local Goodwill. The carpet WAS coming unglued from the wall. The toilet didn't want to flush and the kids above our room were noisy and running around. I notified mgmt and she said she would send someone up to the room to fix the toilet. Instead Mgmt (night) called the room for us to come to front desk and get a plunger to fix it ourselves. The breakfast was nasty and the juice machine WAS down. I chose this hotel bc of the indoor pool but the pool area was hot and had a musty smell. No scent of chlorine in the air. My kids didn't swim an hour. The worst part was my earrings to my necklace set that my husband had recently bought for a Valentine's gift was left in the room and when I asked mgmt about them they couldn't tell anything other than no. Really disappointed with this hotel. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the daytime mgmt WAS nice, the rooms were very clean and the bathroom was beautiful.

Repeat guest. Very clean in room and common areas. All of the staff I met were sincere in their helpfulness. Basic warm breakfast fare. Really no negatives. Will frequent this inn.

I visited some friends who were staying there. The room was nice. It was spacious and decorated well. The location was convenient to the airport and local movie studios. The staff that I encountered when I was leaving was very polite and professional.

It clean, and family friendly. Nice location free breakfast, loved the peach juice, and biscuit w sausage gravy. Great.

Locations not bad there's a Walmart in walking distance and other stores and restaurants. The hotel is nice and the staff is great. The parking lot a little small depending on what your driving. Been here a few times and I have no complaints.

Love the hotel breakfast! Best eggs I've ever tasted. Rooms were very clean and everything worked. Although the indoor pool water was extremely cold, it was clean and still a lot of fun. Beds weren't the most comfortable to me, but I can't fault them for that because not everyone sleeps on the same kind of mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again!

We had so many issues in this hotel; I strongly recommend you look somewhere else. Review follows — The first issue was that the entire hotel ran out of towels; there was not enough supplies to service the entire hotel, or laundry was not done on a regular enough basis. The second issue was that the front desk was often not manned. I frequently called or showed up and had to call out or wander down the hall and knock on the door repeatedly to find a staff member. When we first ran out of towels, I called down to the front desk twice, but received no answer, so went down there myself and was told they had no clean towels to provide. The next day, we were in the room when housekeeping came by, so requested they come back later but asked for towels — they still had none. They promised they'd come by with some later. That evening we returned to a room that had not been serviced, and we still had no towels. We were hot and sweaty from the day and wanted to shower. I again called down to the front desk twice, received an answer on the second try and asked that some towels be sent up since we our room never got serviced and the towels were never brought. I was informed shortly that I could come down and pick them up if I wanted them, so I did so. The hotel should have enough staff that guests should not have to pick things up if they were told they would receive them, and if it is the hotel's fault they were out of an item, guests should not have to go and retrieve the item!

Please do NOT stay here! There are multiple LaQuinta Inn's in the area, please be advised this is not the place if you value cleanliness and quality. I harder ever write reviews so this is Serious. THEY HAVE ROACHES! Im not even going to beat around the bush on this one, Im pissed! Literally 5 mins ago, I'm sitting at the desk on the computer right when a huge brown roach decided to run across my computer keyboard! The place stinks upon walking into the room. , the toilet had urine stains on it, My duvet and 2 pillow cases had blood stains still on it. The Carpet is stained badly, as well as the couches. And then top it all off, they have roaches creeping out of nowhere. The only good thing I can say about the room is that its spacious and the bathroom looks nice. Any one looking to stay here, please DON'T. There is a newly remodeled LaQuinta on Virginia Ave. That one is a thousand times better, because its clean! Please be warned.

So far not good at all! The parking lot is too small. I have a handicap decal and still had to walk some ways, due to unauthorized cars being parked there. So you know security and there protocol sucks. The security guard shouldn't be security he looks very young and silly looking smiling like he ready to laugh. You can probably tell I'm writing this as it is happening right now because it is! Trash and food on the floor, the room is dusty, along with blood stains on the sofa that front desk claim to be paint from when they painted lol ok I'm a woman and I know better. Burn marks in the carpet and curtain but I signed a non smoking permit with a 150. Fee if violated and I'm fine with that because I don't smoke but this room is the opposite of what I asked for I don't recommend this place to no one.

This was supposed to be a smoke free motel. We had to sign a waiver stating that we would not smoke or we would have an additional $150 charged to us. This was no problem for us considering we are non smokers. Our floor smelled like smoke as soon as we stepped off of the elevator. Our bedroom was engulfed in marijuana smoke the 1st night and cigarettes the 2nd. There was a baby screaming and loud chatter from what seemed to be a party down the hall from us. There was trash under our bed and no coffee pot to go to our coffee machine. We were quoted one price, charged a cheaper price when we got there, but ultimately recharged later. We only had a bathroom trash can and inadequate lighting. All in all we slept great in the comfy beds and housekeeping had no problem with bringing towels. Not sure if I would want to stay there again because I did not get what I expected. Why be a non smoking motel when its anything but. So for now, I'd say it was mediocre.

My fiancé and I loved everything about our room. Nice comfortable bed, nice bathroom setting, but whom ever in laundry need to pay more attention because every towel had hair in them. That's the only reason this hotel didn't get a 5⭐️ Did I mention I loved my room.

They promised us a room they didn't have. We had to get one with a pull out couch which didn't have any bedding at all and the mattress was awful. No bath towels, nor behind towels, in the bathroom, had to bug them twice to finally get them. The shower head was crap. Breakfast closing at 9am on weekdays is silly. There are people on vacation who don't want to get up before that.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times. Decent hotel and I love how they have a king bed with fridge / microwave option. Every time my room has been great and no issues there at all (compared to the other reviews). However my first stay I got a room that had a barking dog that the owners probably just left in the room forever. My really only big complaint is that it seems a little shady outside and in the lobby area at night. People waiting outside the entrance for God knows what at all hours of the night. Maybe a La Quinta shuttle? Make sure you lock your car and take all valuables in. Never any problems with this hotel but don't like to feel like you should be nervous to go into your hotel.

The hotel is not a plus! We got there got in our room our headboard was peeling, breakfast was horrible, the maids did not clean our room, I had to go to the front desk each day to ask for clean towels and we had ANTS! Our first night there my sister and I was leaving the building and while exiting the hotel there were police every where out side the building. Please do not pay the money for this hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful, nice facility. Nice shower, but there was black mold growing in it, so housekeeping needs some training. Breakfast not so impressive, not much selection, At approx 7 a. M. One big jar of jelly, one large open container of cream cheese, large container of margarine for everyone to share, no individual servings — this is a public health violation I believe. No yogurt, no boiled eggs, no individual fruit cups, no orange juice, only apple drink and cranberry drink (not juice). Bananas were over ripe and only a few apples. Coffee was not hot. Bagels were wrapped in saran wrap and not individually contained, did they use gloves? Worst continental breakfast ever.

I was reading the reviews and didn't listen. This place isn't clean at all. The refrigerator does not get cold and it stinks. The carpet s are nasty and gives the room a funny smell. There were bugs flying all over, and a coffee machine in the bathroom with no pot. Never again will this happen.

Horrible place. I wouldn't recommend a stray dog staying here. Drug dealers, prostitution, hospital sheets, with people's name on them. Apparently the house keepers are only paid $3.80 for each dirty room they clean, and $1.90 for a refresh. I was thinking the hotel doesn't have alot of money until the owner showed up in his brand new Porsche truck.

The staff at the front desk was extremely nice and apologetic for what we experienced. If you can, check the room before you pay or go somewhere else. Walked in the room and the the worst smell of dog urine & poop hit my nose. I instantly had a horrible allergic reaction! There were stains on the carpet and on the sheets. Tried a different room, the smell wasn't as bad, but the carpet was worse. Tried another room and there was someone already in the room! Went down stairs and got our money back for the 2 rooms we booked! I've never stayed at a LaQuinta, I never will! Thea lobby is beautiful though and my Ears, nose & throat cleared up once we got back in the lobby. They need a new house keeping staff! Holiday Inn here we come.

My husband and I have stayed here several times. Nice rooms, nice staff, pool is nice but never warm enough for me. I would give it a five if it had a hot tub. Pet friendly too.

Sadly a hotel in decline. Burned out lights throughout the building, Staff frendly but doors were secured at 7:30pm, security guard let us in. Mall across street torn down. Other properties around abandoned and fenced. No ice, one machine broken, other empty. With full house, only one staff member in evening. Food "pantry" by front desk mostly empty.

The beds were so comfortable and the staff were amazing! but the only problem I had was the temperature of the rooms, they were too hot, we tried to turn in cooler, but the heat/air vent by the window were not working, (probably meant for that to happen) it was sooooo hard to sleep, we also tried to open the window, but they can't open, I got like no sleep, the breakfast was okay, not many choices, but reasonable, wouldn't come back.

Horrible Valentines weekend getaway experience. Staff very friendly room beautiful besides the fact that there was dog poop in the floor next to the dresser the smell of urine in the carpet literally made me sick glad its was just one night. Never again.

Got there and thought I was having a hot flash. Turns out the air was out of parts of the hotel. The manager explained that someone had tried to remove some copper. The first room they put us in I almost slipped. The floors and the carpet were soaking wet. They moved us quickly. I don't think they cleaned the bathroom very well in the second room. There was a very dirty facecloth still thrown over the shower curtain rod (gross! ). The floors are so thin I kept hearing the people in the room above me walking, etc. But the beds were very comfortable and the staff were very pleasant. I still would not go back though.

Good stay. Other than the moldy shower curtain, the pink/orange stuff around the bathtub is mold also. Room is dusty and people left trash under sink in bathroom and under the night stand. The staff is professional and friendly. Called local Pizza Hut and they were nice also. Quiet location and close to a lot. Good pillows and mattresses, nicely updated rooms. Definitely would stay again.

The room was very nice. The bed was ooh socomfortable!. My only complaint is the dogs that one of the guest had that almost attacked us on the third floor while looking at rooms as well as the barking in morning. I think that dogs should be left at home or with a keeper. I don't like the idea of possibly being bit in a hotel and that fleas are possibly in my room and bed and possibly in my luggage when I leave. We will not be staying at this hotel because of pets A separate building should be built if the hotel wants to accommodate guests with pets.

No food vending machines, on each floor. The breakfast free option, needs some work. No bacon, sausage for breakfast, tasteless food, had to go to McDonalds to eat and 2 employees entered my room without knocking.
