Everything in the room was well maintained and clean. Staff was helpful. Reasons for the 4 star is due to the construction going on (8/19/2017) and the parking lot. Parking lot was somewhat small and had potholes (probably due to the construction). Another reason was there was no big sign that said "Wingate" to let you know where it was. Overall the place was well kept and the experience was great.

Accommodations were reasonable. However, we had to move rooms at first because we were told the room we booked had a pull out couch for a 3rd guest but it did not. Breakfast was very limited. Large parts of the building are under renovation, but it was not an inconvenience. Overall a good place to stay for a reasonable price.

Booked the hotel because the price was just too good to be true. Checked the site, and it was going under MAJOR construction. Even though my booking was non-refundable, Orbitz (Website) did me fair and relocated me to a different location. Judy is a great Customer Rep, even though everyone was complaining to her constantly, she kept her cool.

Yup the hotel was definitely Under-construction! Booked online got a decent rate! Setbacks no ice in the whole hotel, the lobby was pretty warm seemed like the air wasn't running. My room was decent for the price. I was only spending the night there; did get a couple bug bites in the morning. The breakfast was ok waffles & bacon and some what of an omelet! The hotel is convenient and near the highway!

The property is currently under construction as of my stay April 2017, so there​ was a bit of noise and debris here and there. Wasn't so bad. But the room I was given had super tiny pillows and there was a used plastic flosser stuck in the air conditioner that made it rattle. I didn't notice how uncomfortable the pillows were until I tried to sleep on them. I walked to the front desk to get some more. They said they would send someone up. I waited and after 20 min I called back, just to check on them thinking they had forgotten about me. The night desk woman was a bit short with me just for asking if they were having someone come or not. After 10 more minutes, I got the full sized pillows the room should have had in the first place. So I didn't appreciate that sort of reaction from her. The breakfast they had available was decent and the rest of the staff I dealt with were nice. I would stay again after they were done with construction.

Really wish I could give 0 stars because one would be too nice. I can say it's a nice location but the hotel itself needs a major upgrade. My boyfriend checked us in and the concierge who was a man was flirting with my boyfriend. Just walking the lobby you can see the "whirlpool" room from the lobby, no privacy at all. But the worse part of our one hour stay was the room, as soon as we walked in we knew we had to leave. The bed wasn't made, the pillows were on top of the dresser/tv stand/and ac unit. The runner thingy that usually is on the end of the bed was thrown carelessly on the couch. The room looked untouched by the housekeeping staff. Also lets not mention the fact that there was half dranked Gatorade bottles just sitting on the bathroom counter with dirty already used washcloths. Just leave now! When we reported the room to the extra friendly concierge he wasn't surprised but he did understand why we cancelled the stay. For a little more a night just check into the Hilton. Hope your stay isn't as bad as ours.

First we were given a room that someone else was already in. The hotel smelled like cigarettes even though it's no smoking. The fridge was frozen over, needed thawed. Towel hook just spun around, I couldn't hang a towel. Overpriced.

Terrible Internet. Couldn't get online and when you did it constantly kicked you off again. The rest of my stay was fine.

I have visited many of your hotels but this has to be the most outdated one I have seen so far. To start the bathroom is something I can only describe as being from the early 80's the shower head itself screamed update me it takes about 5 minutes to do and cost maybe 30.00. I think just doing that will save on the water bill the hotel has and maybe the pressure wouldn't have been so low. The second thing were the Ants. Its like I was interrupting their convention or something so I had to pick everything off the floor. The third this is the carpet and the walls. Seeing that this room was supposed to be clean I looked on the floor and it looked to be ketchup on the carpet than naturally I turned my head it was splatter all of the wall. Now had I stayed more than one night I would have asked to switch rooms but because I was tired I just sucked it up. As far as the staff was concerned I hardly saw someone at the front desk. The pool was closed and the jacuzzi just wasn't for me (too many people). The breakfast and the Wi-Fi were good and the parking was great. I think if a little more effort was put in to make the hotel a little more updated and energy efficient, you will save more money and have happy customers.

We stayed here for a weekend (April 1-3) and it was clean all over. Bathroom sink tub toilet was spotless. Hot water low pressure. Beds were comfortable linen was clean no bugs or stains. The hotel was quiet for a weekend. The breakfast consists of bagels bacon omelets pancake and waffles made to order by you juice coffee etc. The pool was closed jacuzzi was clean but wasn't really private (close to the hallway with a window everyone could see you). Overall easy check in and check out. They gave clean sheets and towels but didnt touch a thing of ours as far as personal belongings. My only issue was the staff is not personable. ALL of them look like they hate their job. They didn't speak. The tall white guy on the weekend night shift didn't even look up when we entered back from dinner at 12am so we could have been anybody. The black house keeper with braids up in a bun rolled her eyes everytime someone passed and stood at breakfast watching everyone eat but never said good morning. We paid $214.00 for 3 days 2 nights plus a $50.00 deposit that we got back already. It's close to Target and a few other stores but far from the malls and good restaurants. Shanes rib shack is right next door you could walk. Overall a good stay!

We stayed here while on vacation. It was decent. Beds are comfy. Pillows are soft. TV had some problems. The walls are good. We couldn't hear anyone around us. It's in a good location, so you can travel about and see places in Atlanta. 8/10 would stay here again.

No store for food or amenities although you can buy a full sized bottle of shampoo. Bathroom shower head and handles quite dated. Everything was relatively clean though.

Floor in the shower was strangely concave and difficult to stand. Everything else was fine — nothing outstanding, nothing problematic.

The room is clean, the bed is alright. The pillows are small and the Wi-Fi is really slow. It went down for one night out of five I was here and I tried on multiple devices.

Tough location on a busy road, but close to alot of things and nice rooms and helpful staff.

We stayed here last year in october man was it great rooms were spacious clean also very nice staff. Amazing having a hot tub and amazing pool staff were nice and hotel was pretty big. We absolutely loved it very good. Also I have never had better value breakfast then here.

The hotel needs to be updated. There is no modern feel to it at all.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel! Our experience in this hotel was marvelous! From the time we stepped foot in the lobby we could just smell "clean"! The staff were phenomenal and our room accommodations was more than we expected! The hot tub and the pool were very clean. We loved the display of brochures on different parks, activities and sites to visit in the area! The hotel was no more than 10-15 miles to everything we did that weekend, Six Flags, Stone Mountain, World of Coca-Cola, ect. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Next time we are in the area, this is our hotel of choice.

It's marginally okay. So many favorable reviews, and I just can't see why.

This hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The microwave and mini fridge need major updates. Nice pool to relax in. Only downside is the location due to traffic. It was horrible. Sat in it for 2 hours. Upon arrival at the hotel I quickly forgot how frustrated traffic had made me when I was greeted by a smiling face and an offer for a wake-up call. Continental breakfast was spectacular! Atlanta is a big city with many hotels to choose from. If I am ever in the Norcross area, I will be happy to stay here again.

I spent 4 nights at this hotel. This isn't a luxury hotel, that's for sure, but the room was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was OK with sufficient choice. The available staff.
Wi — Fi worked perfectly.
In short not a lot of thing to him accused for a hotel of this category.

This place might be a little bit more but its got quality in all the ways that matter. The high ratings here are not unfounded.

I just got back from a 1 night stay at this hotel. It's awkwardly positioned off the road and if you speed up the hill (coming from Buckhead) you will miss the entrance lol. Check-in was fast and the guy and lady that checked us in were really nice. The room was very clean upon entrance. We had a king room and there is a lot of room in that room. One thing we liked was the speaker system in the bathroom (connected to the tv). While I showered, I listened to Spongebob lol. We only had 1 problem and it was the toilet overflowing, but they sent someone up right away to suction up all the water. We decided to not bother the staff by asking to switch rooms because we were about to be out most of the evening/night anyway. The alarm clock had a little adapter thing that allowed you to connect your iPod to it. The breakfast was great. I especially loved the coffee. The checkout process was fast and simple. If I'm every in the area again I will definitely stay here. We have fallen in love with this chain.

Stayed 4 nights. Could not have been more satisfied! Breakfast was always well stocked. The rooms were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. No funny smells and a nice cold air-conditioning. Very resonably priced.
