Great customer service clean rooms.

DO NOT stay here unless you like dealing with extremely rude and unprofessional staff (mainly the guy who refuses to tell you his name when you have a legit complaint) or if you stay less than 1 day but like being charged for 3. Refuses to give you paperwork or receipt upon check out. Shady!

Central location off panola. Indian man was great but the lady had a extremely Terrible customer service skills.

Hotel was in a great location. That’s the only good thing to say. Lady at check in was super rude. Fit our keys and went to the room, opened the door and was hit in the face with a cigarette smell so strong it burned my eyes. Before we even got inside the room my kids were already yelling how bad it smelled. Got inside and called the front desk and ask if we could trade to a non smoking room to which she sarcastically said all the rooms are non smoking. No help at all. Noise ALL NIGHT from the shady stuff happening in the parking lot at all hours to almost every room around us playing loud music and coming in and out of their rooms slamming doors. Don’t stay here… just keep driving. I literally can’t believe I spent money on this room. All of our close smelled like an ash tray when we left… oh and we couldn’t shower because after 10 mins of running the water it never got hot. Ice cold. So we left smelling like we climbed out of an Ash tray, eyes puffy from no sleep and smoke smell and throats scratchy from the air. Just spare your family.

Mike was great was able to accommodate us last minute.

We've been here right at a week, and everyone has been extremely nice and helpful. Always smiling faces. Plus, the rooms are very clean and neat. I haven't even tried the free breakfast they offer, but have heard it's good too. :)

Really decent, breakfast was better then most continental breakfasts. Fairly clean, but whose perfect. Maid service was top notch. Only thing missing was a restaurant, this place would be a 5* with a dining experience. It's not the Hilton, but better then the redroof.

This is a nice clean place to stay. No road noise. Nice pool. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are some visible signs of general wear and tear, not extreme. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. The breakfast was delicious. Parking area is large. I was able to park outside my room's window. The parking lot was well lit. I was honestly somewhat concerned after reading some past reviews. I saw no signs of anything even close to what the bad reviews indicated. I will return to stay at this hotel in the future. I do ALOT of travelling in the state for business.

Lot better than it looks. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, some sort of high school tournament (basketball) going on but still quiet. Security patrolled building and lot.

Did not clean the sheets they were dirty with stains. Need to work on sanitary more. Breakfast could be better as well. But nice flat screen TV with great quality service from direct TV with HD channels, air conditioner very cold, updated bathrooms, fridge, and microwave. Customer service front desk is very helpul with things.

Beds were comfortable, Wi-Fi was fast but not very stable, breakfast was good, and the service was hospitable.

Good location. Nice room with a larger-than-normal TV. I happened to be in the handicap room and the shower needs some work.

Great location. Clean and a great intercontinental breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

I honestly don’t know where to begin on how gross this place is. I wish there was an option to give it zero stars. When we first got here my grandmother went to go use the restroom and found blood all over the toilet, I went and got a lady at the front desk and she cleaned it up after trying to convince us it was just rust even though being a girl myself I know what period blood looks like. The front desk lady apologized for the blood and gave us goodie bags. We soon left to go get dinner and when we arrived back at our room I noticed there was poop smeared on the back of the Toilet which the staff refused to clean, on top of that there was hair and dirt in the shower. After finding all that stuff I went to go check the room closer and found blood and semen stains all over one of the beds which they also wouldn’t change the sheets too, and the sheets also have holes in them. While examining the room I also found trash and dirt all over the room I even found a used condom under one of the beds. If our room wasn’t prepaid for I honestly would of went to a different hotel this place smells. The signs say it’s a smoke free zone but the place reeks of cigarettes.

It is good and has many flowers.

Well kept. Clean. Beds are comfortable. TV was nice flat screen and big. Housekeeping cleaned room and never left new towels but took dirty ones. The layout of the building is weird elevator is on one end of the building but seems it should be in center causing guest to have to walk from center at check in to one end then if you have a room on oppisite end of building from elevator you walk all to way back across building. It really odd layout never seen anything like it in the many years of travel. But all and all great stay. I will defiantly stay again if in the area. Thank you to the staff so freindly.

Breakfast was good. The front desk personnel were more interested in their outside company than the guests. Housekeeping was awful, coffee cups and soap were not replaced, light bulbs were out and not replaced, rooms were still dirty especially carpet. When you asked for extra towels we had our daughter with us they still only gave two towels. I would not stay there again. People were hanging around outside at all hours, did not feel too safe. Overall not a good experience. Only reason we stayed it was super close to the person we were visiting.

Great place to stay. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Shower pressure good, AC/Heater works well. Michelle Baptiste was most helpful when we had to extend our stay due to changes in our work schedule. Parking for a tractor is adequate, but with a trailer you will have to park on the street by the curb. We travel for a living and we always stay here when in the area. Would recommend this Quality Inn.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and organized. Breakfast very good and a great menu.

Nice and clean. Only drawbacks were the bedding was ripped and covered with a top blanket. The bathroom light switch didn't work unless you pressed hard on it. Each time we left and came back to the room our key cards had somehow deactivated.

I had a king suite with Jacuzzi, but this was a dump. The Jacuzzi looked like a blind man painted it with brown varnish. The clasp on the door that keeps someone from coming in while you are in the room was bent and did not work. The mattress was horrible and I itched all night in this bed. There was not one picture on the wall. I am used to a lot more value & quality from quality Inn. This was the worst ever! I paid $117 per night for this dump. Will never go back The staff was professional and very nice, but this place has not been kept up.

Check in took about 45 minutes. They gave us a key to a room that was already occupied. Open the door to a woman in bed… woah. Rooms were to much of nothing. 1 to 2 star will describe this hotel.
PS… Thr hotel has a name change… "Knights Inn".

This hotel is an annoying experience right from the start. I specifically requested top floor room when I booked more than a week in advance and I got here very tired after a 10 hour trip to find out I have a ground floor room. The curtains are falling apart, there's only a couple of towels, whole place is borderline crummy. If I had arrived here earlier, I won't stay here! Update! This place is a lot worse than I thought. The air in the room is stale, dank, putrid. If I could sleep with the windows open I would. I bolted out of there at first light! Horrible horrible horrible!

I am simply amazed. It doesn't get better than this. The staff, the building, my room and breakfast are right on point. I will come back here for future stays.

Do not stay here it looks nothing like the website! The security guard is in the lobby asking the guest if they smoke weed and if so just don't smoke in room. Ghetto.

Really clean and nice room with a very comfortable bed. Staff was great and they had a pretty wide variety for breakfast.

The floor was sticky and dirty. Water for the tea and coffee in the dining room is not hot.

Hotel staff was very nice, front desk lady was very bubbly. The room wasn't ready when we got there because we showed up a little early but the house keeper was amazing. She cleaned the room, placed our bags in there when she was finished and gave us a hour later check out time for the inconvenience. Loved everything expect the fridge and microwave had a weird smell to it.

Tamika was amazing. Checking in was a breeze. She was extremely helpful and had an outstanding personality and such a positive attitude. The room was nice and clean and the bonus was the 50 inch tv.

Not a bad hotel. The staff has been great the room was clean. The reason for a 3 star rating is security. I am grateful for having security but seeing armed security with bullet proof vest makes me think I need a vest and a gun. During my stay I didn't see them in action but that did have me worried about leaving anything in my car overnight. Nothing happens during my stay and it could be thanks to them.

The hotel was very nice but some of the rooms have an odor and smell like smoke. So if you smell smoke in your room, make sure you tell the front desk or else they will do like they did me and charge you $150 even if you were not smoking in the room. They had no physical evidence that I smoked in the room. I am pregnant and could not smoke in the room but they charged $150 because it smelled like smoke.

Nice quaint hotel with good size room and big television. Stayed one night and they were booked up on single beds but the full bed was sufficient. Breakfast in the morning was decent. They had enough options for my kosher lifestyle. You have to pass 3 hotels to get to it and parking is limited in the front, but I parked in the back and was lucky to get a room looking over my vehicle.

It was pretty good I kinda felt deceive from the pictures, it's not what I expected it would be like. The breakfast was also good.

My stay was pleasant compared to the night before at a different hotel. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable but one pillow had a stain on pillowcase. They actually serve you a continental breakfast unlike some hotels. My only problems were that the hallway smelled like weed and there appeared to be a woman who hung around that I thought was part of the cleaning staff but seemed to live in the bathroom in the fitness room. I was awaken by two kids running the hallway and they cussed at the front staff person. The bathtub didn't look clean had ring around it.

It was fine. Nice rooms, but smoke from upstairs got through the vents.

I was in room 228. The only problem I had it had these little black bugs all over the bathroom. On the sink and in the tub. Otherwise good hotel!

Cockroaches in beds floors sinks bathroom and refrigerator didn't work. Front desk help was simply ghetto. A lot of displaced needy families living at the inn permanent resident status. Poor security and inadequate maintenance personnel. This place should be condemned and closed down. It doesn't even deserve one star.

Nice hotel good food and good service.

There service was great and affordable. Ms. Michelle Baptiste was great and had exceptional customer service.

The receptionist were tremendous the one by day and night time — I think she is called Gabriella was particularly outstanding made my stay very satisfactory. House keeping was fabulous and the complimentary breakfast handled by the ever faithful elderly lady so sad she plans on retiring soon. I have always enjoyed her cuisine when staying from the old management to Quality Inn management!

There was a used bandage in the shower. Thought house keeping was supposed to take care of stuff like that. Rooms are Overpriced. Slow Wi-Fi.

Letter Below sent to Choice Hotels International To whom this letter finds: I am sending this in regards to my stay at one of your establishments: Quality Inn & Suites Decatur — Atlanta East 5300 Snapfinger Park Drive, Decatur, GA, 30035, US Which was by far my worst experience at a hotel that I have ever spent the night in. I will also include photos to add validity to the words. The problems started from the time we opened the door, we were hit with smoke in the air, even though we booked a non-smoking room through Orbitz. We thought nothing of it, we went down stairs and let the front desk attendant know of the situation, we were then greeted with “Well when you book 3rd party that is what happens. “ We then showed were even through the 3rd party it states non-smoking room and we she told us “oh well we are full so there is nothing we can do. ” We immediately started looking for another place to stay, unfortunately everywhere worth staying was booked due to some conventions and family reunions so we were stuck. So we decided to make the best of our situation thinking how could it get any worse? We were in for a shock. As we started to settle in we noticed that there were burn marks throughout the room and holes all over the room and hotel. The phone in the room was disgusting, sticky to the touch. There towel rack in the bathroom was hanging off the wall and there was a huge hole above the shower curtain rail.

Very nice hotel! Excellent staff, clean rooms, hot breakfast, business office, and washer and dryer! Easily the best hotel on the block.

Rat hole, room stinks, dirty bed linens left in sofa bed.
