Not safe! Police were called multiple times during my stay. Elevator is out of compliance and didn’t work properly, forcing us to use the stairwell. Homeless man was sleeping in the stair well overnight. Keys don’t work. Had to go to get keys replaced everyday during my stay. Dirty! Toilet didn’t flush.

Neither elevator working, pool under maintenance but nothing was mentioned at booking or check in. Pull out sofa bed was gross.

We had an extremely bad experience at this particular Holiday Inn Express yesterday evening (Dec 27, 2021). My husband went in to check us in. He informed the front desk clerk that I was a member of IHG, but she told him I needed to come in with an ID before she could give us the discount. He came out and got me, and I went in to see her. I said, “So what kind of ID do you need to see? ” She mumbled something and I asked her to repeat it. She got very belligerent and she told us we just needed to leave and find a different hotel. I said with her mask on and standing behind plexiglas she was just hard to hear. I also said it was difficult with the TV on and a little loud in the lobby. She then said, “That TV is not loud. You need to leave and find a different hotel. ” Nothing I had said or done warranted this behavior. I then said, “I’m old and sometimes I don’t hear so well. (I’m 66. ). She just stood there and said it several times — “you just need to leave and find a different hotel. ” I asked her for her name and we left and went to the Comfort Inn next door, where we had a very good experience. I realize everyone is very short staffed these days, but I would still think Holiday Inn would value their faithful customers of which I have been one for many years. I am emailing you because I have been a Priority member for years. I always book government rate because my husband and I are educators. After checking into the hotel yesterday with no problems I get a call 10 minutes later stating I needed to show verification and that I had booked under the military rate. When I went downstairs to show him my education ID he said he was going to have to change the rate the I was given online as well as the rate I checked in with. How are you going to change AFTER I have checked in by Brandon. I told him that I never choose military rate but I always choose government. I then pulled up the rate on IHG and showed him that the $80 rate was not under government rate. He said that rate on his end was showing military and he needed us to show him military papers. I told him it has never stated that on the website in which I book all the time and he said that IHG was in the process of adding additional info to the website when you book to provide more details. I said that’s fine but you can’t change my rate after I have checked and and after I have shown you that IHG showed this rate as government and not military. I would never choose a rate for which I not qualified for. I have NEVER experienced this. Not to mention I was just at this hotel a few weeks ago under the government rate. I asked to speak to the manager in the back, Stephanie, yet he said she would say the same thing and she never came out to address me.

It’s clean and quiet. Worth the $$

Room was still dirty. Found pubes, hair, and feces spots on toilet. No soap was stocked in room and the key cards didn't work so we had to go downstairs twice. Not normally a big issue but after a 4 hr drive, we arrived at 10pm after a long day of my daughter's softball, she didn't get to bed until 1230. This is a big deal because she had a very important tryout the next morning. Room had an odor as well.

I enjoyed my stay there and had a free breakfast.

Dirty sheets. Found little black curly hairs all inside of them (I don’t even want to know) mascara on pillow cases, the smelt dirty, blood over the top of the toilet paper on the wall… all I wanted to do was stop at a hotel on the way home from vacation and take a hot shower, eat, and go to bed. I spent 15 minutes changing the bed sheets on both beds and then go to turn on the shower AND THERE’S NO HOT WATER. It’s luke warm. I leave it running for 3 minutes. Still luke warm. $150 hotel room and this is the result. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. Go on up the hill and stay at The Courtyard. We should have spent the extra money and stayed there.

We love Holiday inn Express hotels. The hotel itself was great. The only reason for four starts is the traffic noise. It was terrible here. Everyone sounded like they were drag racing! This hotel is otherwise just as expected as all of the other Holiday inn Express hotels. Clean, comfortable beds, updated decor and friendly staff.

Even under construction very nice very clean staff nice and helpful to want to stay here again on September 5th checked in I noticed she had the wrong address on my receipt I asked her about it she copped an attitude but if she check my rewards card my right address is on my card I have to change my driver's license around want to go in my room my key wouldn't work so I walked back down to get her to redo my key so I can get in my room and she copped an attitude I told her I'd take it up with Management in the morning about my address is being wrong and she told me management wouldn't be back until Monday there's a black gentleman standing there he made the comment he's got an attitude I don't have an attitude and she said oh I'm going to call Cobb County Police Station.

The room was nice, clean and newly refurbished. The breakfast was great. The gym was small but had all the basics for a good workout. The pool was clean. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!

We caught one of their remodeling contractors stealing our clothes from the laundry room. Not only did the general manager make excuses for her actions she never offered an apology. Would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy.

Location was nice. We had no water for hours upon checking in do to renovations. The TV kept losing signal. The beds were comfortable.

We travel a lot between Florida and Indiana and this is one of our favorite stops in the Atlanta area. Extra clean and extra friendly and very good price. Steven and Nancy White.

The hotel was under renovation which has a certain level of understanding but the finished sections were not done very well. Shoddy workmanship on behalf of the contractors. I had to wait for a room since they "over-booked" even though they knew we had a sizable group staying. The new renovations removed the previous conference area which we did not discover until after arrangements were made. Normally HDIE are pretty decent. This was a let down.

Great rooms. All brand new and updated. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Pool was warm and very relaxing. Felt like we were in our very own Oasis.

NASTY! Had unclean sheets and was told we would have to pay for clean ones if we stayed. Had blood stains on pillow cases and sheets. Hair and what looked like rat poop. Found a bug in my bed and management said it was my fault for going outside. Water leak on the ceiling. This was a business trip and management (Travis) left it was the right thing to do was to call the company and tell them I was being over barring (with my 5'3 self) and overexaggerating (with bit marks all over my butt) They said if we stayed we can have sheets but we would have to pay and put them on ourself. Instead they gave the company back there money for our horrible night and told us we would be charged if we stayed, so we had to pack up real fast. Everyone was so Rude. And also I have pictures. The day before some people got traps in the elevator for like 2 hours put the review on here and now its disappeared. But just to let everyone know this is what happens here.

Worth the money room was clean and breakfast was good.

Not only did I find bugs (i woke up to bits all over but behind) I was told it must have jumped on my leg on my way into the building. If that wasn't bad enough I also found out that the sheets was not even cleaned or changed before we got there. There was blood stains on one of the pillows and at the bottom of the sheets, dirt and black hairs (I'm blonde/Brown handed) I was told that if we was to get clean sheets they was going to charge us for staying there. So if we was to stay not only was there not another room available but we are stuck with old sheets that lord knows how long they have been like that and charged for a additional night. So yeah I definitely wanted to switch hotels. I got nothing but attitude from the manager. Which I would like to point out. I want to give a big Thank you to Travis the Manager of the place for telling my husbands company that paid for this business trip that not only was I being overbearing (which I wasn't being, just stated the obvious) but he told them I was over exaggerating as well. I guess he was trying to make me look like I was being difficult but I'm sorry I'm not used to sleeping in blood, dirt, bugs and other peoples hair. So I made sure to take pictures of Everything. All the way to the huge water stain on the ceiling that I never said anything about and crap in the ceiling corners that looked like a burrito exploded. I really hope who ever really owes that building, business or location sees this because.

I ended up not staying at this hotel as it didn’t work for my unique situation as they are undergoing a remodel that is almost done but I did interact with lots of the staff and I can say they are phenomenal! I dealt with Kelly Wilson who was great. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. Also I interacted with Marlo who is the night shift maintenance guy and he was great! I’ve stayed at a ton of hotels and I’ve never met a maintenance guy that was as pleasant and helpful as Marlo! He also truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. In short, the staff here is great and you can know booking this hotel that they will do everything they can to ensure you have a great stay.

Location was perfect, they have so much within walking distance, the mall, several places to eat, salons and a cool little bar. We had a great stay Front desk guy Brendon wa's good company. Only complaint was they are under construction which put a little damper on things but nor much. Their breakfast was decent too.
