The staff is great. The rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is great. The rooms are very clean. They treat their guests like royalty. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Enjoyed the stay. They are renovating but was not a problem. Lobby and breakfast area is dated but rooms were very nice. Comfortable beds but prefer my own pillow. Breakfast was pretty good. We will stay again.

The front desk staff was nice and friendly. The ladies serving breakfast worked hard to ensure the kitchen was clean and to make sure there was enough food for everyone. The pool and the pool area was clean. I would have given five stars but the housekeeping was not great. The toilet in our room was dirty when we arrived. We had to take out our trash each day because our room wasn't cleaned everyday and that's a problem especially when traveling with young children.

I dropped my Mom off at the Hampton Inn Helen. She was not crazy about the cheesy Alpine facade, but I think that all buildings in Helen have to do that. The inside looked pretty much like every other Hampton Inn so far as I could tell. I brought her bags in, but she said that she would take them up to her room. I tried to argue, but did as she asked when she started renegotiating how she would spend her points. The man behind the counter seemed competent and friendly. His name was Drew, I believe. There were cookies, but I just wasn't in much of a cookie place, ya know? I took a Coke from the mini-store on the way out. The Coke said "Jonathon" on it, but I took it anyway. Surely, somewhere out there, a Jonathon is drinking a Coke with the name "David" on it. I wish him well.

Adam is such a wonderful asset to this hotel. Diane in housekeeping is so attentive and sweet! And Ed the maintenance engineer is such a nice man! Love this place and all the people associated with it!

Nice cheap hotel near downtown Helen with a good breakfast. There was construction happening while we were staying there so there were times pieces falling all over our balcony but otherwise it was really nice.

Nice place. Much bigger room than anticipated. The room was clean and neat. The desk clerk was polite and helpful, though upon checkout, we had to wait for about ten minutes for someone to show up. Not convenient when you're in a hurry. Otherwise, we had a great trip and will stay there again. Very close to the strip, just about a 3 minute walk at a relaxed pace. The hotel felt very safe, plenty of parking, and a cool sight of some downtown buildings depending on the room. I would recommend this place for anyone who takes spur the moment trips like we did, and ended up saving a good amount of money in comparison to other, lower quality looking, hotels. This is a Hilton Honors hotel, so you can get points and Hilton amenities. They didn't pay me to write this review.

Compared to other hotels in the area, it is probably nice. Compared to other Hampton Inns, below parr. Dirty floor in bathroom. Asked for extra towels. Never got them. Went to front desk near dinner time to ask again. No one was there. Called and it rang for a very long time. Finally got them. Old AC wall units in rooms. Not cold. Pool not open yet (seasonal). Could not find work out room if there was one. Very nice maintenamce man. Coffee never refreshed on 1st floor. Positive… when checked in offered water and snacks. Breakfast offered and enough choices for everyone.

Had a great stay. Dakota and Adam were very helpful with the booking and made it very easy. Very clean and comfortable room.

The room is beautiful, bed is comfy, bathroom is gorgeous. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Staff is kind, breakfast was delicious, thanks so much Hampton inn.

Construction starts at 9am. Be prepared. It's not a bad place at all. Very friendly night staff — Drew. He was very helpful guide for food and attractions.

Great experience. Stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and it was great. The beds are super comfy and the pillows fluffy. Will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. This Hampton Inn is a bit unique, as is the town of Helen. It's exterior style, with the rest of the buildings, have a old time German village theme. There are a lot of restaurants (yes, German ones! ) and tourist type shops. I will want to come here again in the spring/summer to experience it all in full gear! There are several activities available that I want to try. There are Zipline parks, obstacle courses, and tubing down the river available.

The location is ideal. The room was nice. It wasn't the cleanest room I've ever been in as there was some hair on the bathroom floor. Service was great, no complaints. Breakfast was good. Location was the best feature though.

Very comfortable room and location Ben, who checked us in, was a pure delight and very friendly. The whole check-in and check-out process was unhindered. The breakfast, a typical hotel one, was much better than most of the hotel breakfasts I've had before with great tasting food and a large selection of food.

The rooms were clean and the check in was fast. My room had a balcony overlooking the creek behind the hotel. This is a cute tourist town that is worth a visit when they have their Oktoberfest. This hotel is in a perfect position to accommodate someone visiting this area for the weekend and wanting to walk from the hotel. The value was also really good for the location. I would stay here again in the future.

An excellent stay in the Alpine Village. We went for the Christmas celebration, and stayed at the Hampton Inn. It has been recently updated, and the rooms updates look Great! The hotel is still going through renovations, but the courteous staff made it a pleasure to stay at. We really enjoyed the location as it's very close for he main strip, and right behind our favorite old time grocery store (The IGA) in Helen. We would definitely recommend staying here and will probably stay here in future Helen trips!

Great hotel! The people who work there are always very nice! They'll help you any way they can. Great atmosphere. They try to make you feel at home while you stay. Great location as well! You can walk from it to most anywhere downtown. The river runs behind it and downtown is just a hop and a skip away. We stay there once a year and are always very satisfied.

The manager, Susan, is amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure my stay here for the week was the best it could be. She is very pleasant to talk with. My company often stays here and all my coworkers say good things about this hotel. Haven't even left and already looking forward to coming back lol! Thank you Susan!

The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast is always good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We took off at the last minute from homer ga. To surprise my lovely wife. And this was the first place we stopped. We could have stayed anywhere. But the staff was out of this world. (ben). Was awesome. We will be back soon. The stancil's!

I like the refurbished hotel. The room was fine. The bath tub was dangerous especially trying to get out. Needed a couple more pillows… I like a bunch. Lots of stairs to climb. Luckily the elevator worked.

Helful staff (Ben and other staff friendly and very helpful with food in the local area), covered parking, huge variety for breakfast included with the room, Hilton rewards, nice pool, comfort clean room. Great view band sitting area of the river! We will return!

Very helpful desk clerk. It was very hot and with 3 toddlers, a bit stressful trying to book a last minute room. She offered the boys water and cookies and helped our process of check in be quick and easy. The room was clean, easily accessible and across from the dining area. Breakfast was good and the stay was typical of a Hampton Inn. Very good!

We should have made reservations earlier, but we forgot and arrived at the Hampton Inn without reservations, but Jenn and Taylor were very accommodating and were able to get us a room at a very reasonable last minute rate. Breakfast was awesome and received a 100% NY State health rating during their last inspection. Lots of parking and close to everything. We will definitely stay there again. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful.

The service here was amazing. The were very quick and helpful. This place has been renovated and is very nice. We stayed in one of their larger rooms and it was huge compared to you average plain hotel room.

The location for my taste is amazing! Down the street from Main Street, but still in walking distance meaning during night time, you can rest. The staff have been great to us, and helped with quite a bit. The view from the balcony rooms is great, but some of the bursh could be cleared a little for a better view, but still very great. Awesome all together, and most importantly, clean!

Amazing place to stay. Staff is amazing, management is amazing and breakfast is so good. I love me some biscuits and gravy. :)

My husband and I stayed in Helen overnight for my birthday. Room was great, great view of the river, everything worked and the room was very clean. The whirlpool bathtub was amazing. Staff was nice and breakfast was great. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others.

I have stayed here several times. The staff at The Hampton Inn Helen, were very courteous and welcoming. The rooms spacious and comfortable. I am looking forward to my next stay.

The beginning was rocky, the hotel lost room blocks, then the front desk couldn't book group rates, some of my family weren't given the group rate, and it took several calls to get our code so people could book online (which we got from the corporate complaint line). Eventually, we were given the room for free for ourselves (this whole thing was for our wedding) to make up for the issues that were faced at the beginning and the hotel has been very accommodating since then, thus bringing their rating up.

This hotel is great! Clean room, friendly staff, and nice breakfast. We will come back again and again. Loved it! Great value!

First time here in Helen and Hampton inn! People and staff is so polite and coutious and has very good customer relationship! I am so thankful I stayed here! The suite is a 10 thank you.

Gross! We rented the king room with Jacuzzi tub and fireplace. It also had a balcony facing the river. Since we paid more, and it was a Hampton Inn, we thought it would be a nicer room. Not! The carpet was stained, it smelled like smoke, and was generally not very clean. Luckily I had Clorox wipes to clean the bathroom… the toilet had urine in it! I guess it was probably better than a cheaper room that is used mitre frequently? The entire hotel lied "tired", and needs updating. Won't be back.

All the staff was friendly, helpful, and really accommodating! We love the the river view with balcony but could not see much of the creek, the updated room was clean and fresh. The first night there our AC would not work, it was 80 degrees in our room! Called the front desk and Natan came to our room and looked at the AC unit but could not fix it. He said all of the rooms were full so we would have to spend the night there. he went and got a fan so that we could spend the rest of the night in the room. It was too late to go looking for another hotel so we stayed. The next day around lunch the AC man came and replaced the entire AC unit. The next night was fine. The staff was great! We'll be back for sure. ,

All the staff was friendly, helpful, and really accommodating! We love the pool, the river view with balcony, breakfast, and the updated rooms. We'll be back for sure.

Excellent accommodations, walking distance from downtown Alpine Helen's attractions, eateries, entertainment and shopping. Immaculately clean, secure, cozy, and comfortable. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was pleasant and very hospitable. I will definitely stay here whenever I am back in the area, and will recommend it to anyone I can.

My husband and I LOVE the hampton inn! staff very friendly, rooms are very clean! beautiful location and is quite! breakfast is always yummy! we have never had any problems with them and we will be stay there everytime were down that way.

My husband and I have sort of become regulars at this hotel. We love it. We recommend it to friends, we stay several times each year (three times during Oktoberfest this year! ), and always have a good experience. One of our friends we took last weekend travels a lot and even she said, "I LOVE this hotel! " without being prompted. Last winter we were wanting to escape a renovation that was going on at our house only to find that the Hampton Inn was also renovating! We weren't very happy with that at first, but fortunately, their renovation did not affect our stay at all. In fact, it was neat to see the progress as they upgraded the whole hotel from the way it was (nice but dated) to its new appearance (gorgeous! ). Their renovations have made the whole place a little swankier and comfortable. I wish it had an indoor pool as the times of year we have been there the most, the pool has been closed (otherwise I would rank facilities as excellent). We finally got to swim in the pool this past July. I only mention this due seeing lots of other indoor pools at Hampton Inns we've stayed in. Also, other hotels in Helen have indoor pools. I think it would be a good asset for this hotel. The breakfast I would call upscale continental. Lots of variety, and I love their selection of coffees and teas. The staff are very friendly and considerate. We see the same faces for the most part, too, so there is a strong sense of stability. And, I can't finish without mentioning Helen!

Great location, very near to town but one street back so nice and quiet. Very friendly and helpful service. Comfortable bed, clean, only bad point was breakfast was average at best.
