I will try to sum my experience up in a few Paragraphs. The property was poorly managed. When I arrived trash everywhere literally. Inside pool was filthy with (NO COVID RESTRICTIONS) The room I was in was decent nothing special.
There are drug addicts sleeping by the pool all times of day. (Security did nothing)
There are people always walking around offering to sell you drugs.
I saw a guy get punched in the face and knocked by their pool.
I can only tell you what I saw. Now let's get to the REAL issue. I had the worst experience ever at Sonesta Gwinnett Place. 1st incident their guard who works for Paradigm Security Norcross knocked at my door and said she smelled cannabis smoke coming from my room. After I told her It wasn't my room and I was just about to get in shower… she still continued to question me. (I'm fully naked with only my head peeking out the door) She walks towards my door as if she was going to push through it, I jumped back and the door flung open exposing my naked body to her and anyone that would have walked by in the hallway. She never turned her head or walked away. I reported it to the front desk agent Daisy, and she said she would handle it (Never happened). 2 days later, I was on my patio with 2 other guests and we heard a really loud BOOM. The maintenance guy broke into my room with the latch on my door from the inside. Maintenance stated they didn't know someone was in the room with the latch on the INSIDE of the door.
