Kids enjoyed the pool and the we main reason we chose to stay here was we had to bring our 115lb boxer mix puppy dog with us. He was approved without question. We got what we paid for. If we had to bring our dog with us again we probably still wouldn't stay another night here.

As an experienced traveler who does travel extensively, I do not recommend this motel. It is overpriced (I paid 60 bucks for a $40 room, at best). After driving for several hours I began looking for a room for the night. Driving up I-85 out of Atlanta, I stopped at 4 different places, all of which had no vacancies. Finally, I found this Scottish Inn at 5am. Paid my 60 bucks and politely asked the lady at the night window who checked me in if I may get a one-hour extension checkout since I was checking in at 5am. She abruptly told me no and reminded me that checkout was at 11. At 10am that morning, 2 nasty looking guys come banging on my door once again reminding me that checkout was at 11. Again… overpriced, old motel, dirty room, unfriendly staff. I do not recommend it and I will never stay there again.

No star is deserving. Its the nastiest place we have ever stayed. Door has no door jam! Won't look half the time, ac doesn't work, beggers in parking lot, and GREEDY owners who want to charge you for everything they fix or have to replace. Roach I fested as well!

You get what you pay for but the bed was very comfortable.

If I could give this place zero stars, trust me I would. The room was disgusting. Hair and unidentifilable stains all over the bed. Smelled disgusting as though a smoker had been living there for a decade. When we asked to change room the owner told us the hotel was fully booked, even though we saw many empty rooms. We then asked if he could simply give us some clean sheets he told us his "guy" was not available to give us clean sheets. He was extremely rude and aggressive. I told him to calm down and that I'm trying to be his friend here, but he instead flipped out at me and walked away. There is a certain fundamental human decency that we all hope people have, and this man does not have that. Disgusting place, horrible owner. Do not give this man your money! p. S There was a sign in the room stating that you should leave all your valuables cash and even jackets with the owner instead of your room, since if you didnt do that and anything went missing the owners are not legally responsible.

I'm staying by the week. There are only two light bulbs. The rest of the lamps are missing. It isn't the quitest or nicest motel I've stayed an extended time, but it is the cheapest. Two forty five a week is what I'm paying. Wi-Fi is pretty solid. Now I've only been here for three nights. I'll update if things go bad. Been here three months. My review hasn't changed. It's a solid motel with a bad rap. We are good people for the most part. And look, I'm a level 6 local guide. Enough said.

Book the room based upon photos which are grossly exaggerated. If you are eager to sleep on a toddler sized king bed for an adult, sit in a room that creeps you out, dirty flooring I wouldn't allow my dog to pissed on, nasty bathrooms and… wait a door you think someone will kick in along with poor lighting perfect for robbing someone then yes you found the right motel. After twenty minutes of talking sense to myself I called over to the Marriott to find a more durable and safe location for this lady traveling. Breakfast, a pool that works and yes adult sized bed with four fluffy pillows… not two brought from home. Stay at this place at you're own risk.

You do get what you paid for. Our room was okay compared to nightmarish rooms that others guests have had. It smelled faintly like someone had smoked. The carpet felt like a dirty sponge, it blackened our feet. The bathroom smelled moldy. The woman who helped us was nice. If you have doubts about this place, find a back up motel in case this one doesn’t do it for you. Remember: you won’t get your money back after 15 minutes ;)

Stay away. The man who works at the front office is a scam artist, liar, rude and unprofessional. Our room was absolutely filthy and disgusting. There was hair and unidentifiable stains all over our bed and pillows. We booked a room with double Queen beds and one of them had a dead fly in it. As if this wasnt bad enough we found a dead Roach behind the toilet and a live one crawling on the counter by the sink. We also heard what sounded like rats in the walls. This all happened within less than 20 minutes of us being in the room! I refused to even sit down because I was so afraid of touching anything. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a "hotel/motel" in my life. We approached the man at the front desk and nicely requested a refund as the conditions were unacceptable and he refused to give us our money back. I asked him if he cared that his guests were staying in such deplorable conditions and he said no over and over again. Admitted that he knew it was disgusting and still refused to give us our money back. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not give this low life your money!

The rudest front desk people imaginable. We are a non profit and try to use them due to price and our client situations but have determined they are not usable because of the level of rudeness, the filth, and the unsafe area.

Location is Commerce, GA. Banks Crossing off of I-85 across from Walmart. One room was booked through Trivago. Booked a room with a king size bed. When arrived at Scottish Inns to check in coukd not get anybody to the front window. Called & called & called no one would answer the phone. It took probably 15 or 20 minutes of ringing the bell & calling on the phone to get someone to answer. When the indian lady did answer she was rude. Said they had no vacancy. Showed where reservation was made. But when making the reservation there was a mistake on our end. The date for the reservation was forgot to be changed. The lady made sure to point this mistake out. After she was really rude to person who was getting the room key. She also made sure to tell us that she had a child there that was trying to sleep cause they had to go to school that Friday morning. All that ringing of the bell & calling on the phone she said she didn't appreciate. Even though the person I was giving a ride to should have cancelled that reservation & made it somewhere else they didn't they stayed anyway. They were not given the room that was asked for which was king size bed was given a room with 2 full size beds. I stayed to make sure they got settled & didn't need anything else before I left. The lights would not work when they went into room. No lights except lights from phone until it was figured out they were unplugged. Fridge in the room was not working right.

Decent rooms for the price but the location didn't feel very safe.

We got a room about 11pm by 1:30am we was getting out because of BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS. We asked to get our money back and he said in our dreams. Then we called Banks county Police and they said that there was nothing they could do because of the sign saying "STAY 15 MINUTES NO REFUND". I'm reporting them to health Dept ASAP.

Needs lots of updating and Lots of cleaning! We pulled the covers back only to find urine, blood and who knows what all else on the sheets and mattress cover. We didn't even sleep in the bed! Rang the little bell up front and no one ever came. We told the woman about it when we were checking out, she had a rude attitude and told us to get lost! I wouldn't recommend this place to Anyone! And that's just a few of the pics I took, all of them are just of the bed and it's coverings!

They have bed bugs. There rooms are disgusting. The water took 20min to get hot, and once I got out of the shower, discovered the bed had bed bugs. Immediately went to the front and told the owner. He refused to give us our money back or give us another room, because we had occupied the room more than 15min. We called the police. And the sheriff stated that this hotel was drug infested, prostitution infested. And the owner knows, but doesn't care. Why aren't there any one monitoring these disgusting hotels. There should be federal regulations.

Very horrible customer service, accused us of drinking and smoking, then called the police on us and ran us out… On top of that no refund for the room we didn't stay in. Bunch of crooks highly suggest nobody stay here. On top of all of that I just want to give a big fu*# you to the employee that did this $hit, I hope you rot in hell.

Honestly the WORST hotel I've ever been to! There was hole in the bathroom door. One of the beds were dented in. There were multiple dead flies on the ceiling. There were also stink bugs mating all over the place. I went to the front desk to complain and request at least a room change. The front desk lady thought it was appropriate to say, "Well why are you checking in this time of night anyways. " Mine you it was 10:00 p. M. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to stay there. I have pics of the doors and video of the bugs if anyone would like to see. Idk how to add them on here. But it was disgusting.

The worst ever experience in my life! And with my children coming home from an excellent vacation in N. GA mountains. I cannot believe this is on ANY booking site! This place should be condemned to say the very least. Worst ever motel. I've stayed in many, when traveling across the world. Every hostel was much cleaner and SAFER than this hell on earth, with mad maids screaming at everyone. Perhaps weighing 80 lbs. Quite scary! Management did nothing to improve the situation. Pay the extra 10, 20, or even 40. Dollars. I would, for a safer place.

This is the nastiest place I've ever been. There were dead roaches under our bed, graffiti on the walls in the room, and there worst rudest most unbelievably unprofessional least customer service drivin staff I may have ever encountered.

45$ a night with tax. 10$ pet fee. The first key card I was given was to another guests room! I walked in and he was shocked as I was lucky I didn't have a gun drawn on me. As soon as I pulled down the sheets a roach runs across the bed. Then in the morning I wake up to one of the staff peering into my room while I naked! Room was small, simple, and outdated. The mini fridge and AC worked. Kinda disappointed it didn't have a coffee maker. I slept good but it was a rough stay. At least there wasn't bed bugs.

The motel is very old. We had a two bed room, and one bed the sheet was stained. There was someone elses food in the fridge.

Worst hotel ever. Didn't even have toilet paper and it's nasty.

This place should be condemned for unsafe, unsanitary (to say it nicely) drug infested conditions. I couldn't sleep due to being on guard all night in worry. Unfortunately it was very late&with a baby also (thank goodness I brought her clean portable sleep/play yard) … so no choice but to stay after paying 50. Not 40. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! Spend the extra 20. Or more$ for a safe place. I never knew this town had such a rough place. Very unfortunate for not just me, but my kids witnessing maddened maids on illegal substances or escaped from mental health services (?! ) as they yelled at us just for asking a question. Then threatened by them that they'd call the police! I had no problems with that whatsoever. It was all just crazy to say the very least. Will write more later as it was that horrid of an experience in all my years and no time left tonight. Please NEVER stay anywhere near here! Not even by yourself. In all my years of both international and domestic travel never ever, not even in a hostel did I experience such a terrible occurrence. …

It's a fine motel for 50$ but the staff is a bunch of crooks. We literally left our room for 2 minutes and when we came back our cell phone had been stolen. The only other person who had entered our room was maintenance and house keeping. We gave them ample chances to own up and give us the phone back, but they claimed to not know anything about it. Be careful about your valuables, they will be stolen if not secured.

Rates are very reasonable. Friendly service. Free coffee in the mornings and an outdoor pool.

Love this place nothing wrong with it at all the staff and everyone is so friendly and nice and the rooms are nice.

Manager was friendly, we had a quiet non-smoking room. Room was clean, no bugs or people outside. No complaints and very cheap.

This is by far the most horrible place to stay covered with crrusty with filth the sheets were old, shower old, I fled.

If I could give it no stars I would! The place is absolutely horrible! Management is rude and does not know how to talk to customers. He curses at people and talks to them as if they were a p. O. S. They need to get rid of him! You pay for a room and he doesn't want any friends over. You call the front desk and they won't answer. Tried to charge $4 for a roll of toilet paper. Who does that?

Terrible place to stay! Dog shit found in the room floor, no bathroom tissue! And, the man at the front desk was rude and cursed me like a dog, and I tried remain nice… Never staying, nor would recommend it to ANYONE!

It's a sorry excuse for a hotel the manager gets drunk with the other drunks that live here service sucked if u need any thing it taks 3 or 4 days to get and you're lucky if thay service your room that a/c lecks all over the floor ur not alowed to friends over and he will yell at for ur kids getting in the pool to many drugs coming in and out of this place it's suspose to be a motel not a drug place… You have people outside all through the night just walking around…

Quick fix in a tight spot.

Cheap! Recently renovated! New furniture! Hot shower! Friendly staffs! Free breakfast! Swimming pool! Good location! Negotiable price when stay for a week! Huge parking lot for trucks! Walking trails behind the hotel! .! What else do you want for $39.99 per night? It is amazing.

Upon arrival you'll see it's a very clean hotel outside and inside. The staff were super friendly. I got to the room and it looked better than staying in the Hampton like I did last time. **I'm a college student so I try to save money. And for the starting price, you honestly will not find a better hotel anywhere around Commerce. You probably won't find a better hotel had you even paid more.

The Dandelion Inn is GREAT! The staff was more than accomodating and VERY friendly and helpful in every way possible. I would highly reccommend this hotel to anyone that wants courtesy, value, and a comfortable room, and lots of it. Deborah and James Davis.
