The comforter had old blood stains. Which still had texture. The smoke detector had a plastic bag attached over it. And cable channels had frozen video but working audio though all the channels were mislabeled. Response to old bloody sheets by staff was blase. Check out clerk did not ask how our stay was.

Nice quiet and very clean room for the price you cannot beat it.

Nice rooms and a swimming pool, continental breakfast the only thing I didn't like was how low the beds are it made for an uncomfortable nights sleep for me.

Dont ever go here! The swimming pool had paint peeling and it was full of bugs, there were cockroaches in the hotel room, and they had to change our keycards over 3 times because they continuously stopped working. We had spoke with two different desk representatives, first to tell them about the cockroaches, which they shrugged off, and second the next morning of our stay to ask to speak to the manager, who we were told was never really in, and given a card. The breakfast options were almost completely run out and there was still an hour to spare. When we asked the woman to fill up the waffle batter she rolled her eyes and made it very apparent she didnt want to. When we finally got home, we called the number and received the front desk, the woman was adamant about getting our phone number so the manager could call us since he never answers his phone. When we called choice hotels corporate, they were much more understanding. They took our complaints down and apologized for any inconvenience. They told us if the hotel didnt call us within 48 hours to call back. Of course we didn't get a call from the hotel, just a poorly written email, showing that they obviously didnt want to do anything about it. All in all we paid roughly $200 to stay in the worst hotel I have ever seen.

Ice and soda machine didn't work the last 2 times I stayed there. Pricey for what you get. Rooms are clean with laminate flooring. Conveniently located next door to Family Dollar. Not the worse place I ever stayed.

It was enough for an overnight stay. No elevator for those that may have trouble with stairs.

Room and clean, lots of room. And all the electrical outlets worked and had plenty of them. Most don't. Bed was very comfortable. Will say again if need to stay that way again.

Filthy room, could use a paint job, we wouldn't even take a shower there because it was so gross.

Reasonably priced, very clean, and the bed and pillows are comfortable as well. The front desk staff that checked me in was pleasant and made me feel welcome.

It's an older hotel that is pretty clearly run by a family. Not super impressed but it's not horrible.

Service is terrible. The hotel shut off water to the entire hotel without telling any guests to prepare. We were unable to shower, use the restroom, wash our hands, and brush our teeth! The manager was rude and did nothing to resolve the issue. Later in the day the nasty rude woman at the front desk yelled at my husband and I because we were booked a 2nd floor room with a service animal. I provided my service paperwork for the animal as I always do and I didn’t ask for a 2nd floor room. The terrible nasty person yelled at us over something I had no control over. Pick any other hotel. There are plenty other hotels with similar prices that care about having your business and will treat people respectfully.

Broken door, won't lock, hard to open or close. Cracks in walls, stale breakfast food (I had a bagel), doors propped open. I do not recommend this as a place to stay.

Decent stay, nice and quiet. Could use more breakfast items.

No luxury but what I expected. Clean beds, shower, and porcelain toilet with a/c and heat. Not here for a vacation, just needed to rest from the road and get ready for the next leg. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly. I even got invited to come back on Thursday for some fresh bacon!

Probably a great place to bring a hooker. That's about it. The Wi-Fi sucks.

If I hadn't been so exhausted I would have asked for my money back and found other lodging. The odor in the room was near unbearable and not even a shower removed the smell. On top of that they couldn't get the key cards to work on our door so the manager had to let us in with the master key. This made it so we couldn't leave the room together without getting locked out. Also, stupid me didn't get a receipt and when I got home I found I was overcharged because my veteran discount wasn't applied. Shame on Econo Lodge for allowing this motel to operate so badly.

It is a pit. Checked in and immediately checked out. Unless you have to stay here… Don't do it.

I stayed here during the week if hurricane Irma while our power was out. It was ok… they need an elevator other than that it was good.

Have stayed here at least twice a year on our trips up North & back… hotel seems cleaner first night ok… however don't trust it… its full of local theives who apparently live here now. On the next day someone tried to go into our room while our laundry was being stolen right out of the washer… before we even had a chance to start the machine!. They used our detergent and money we put in to wash their own clothing after stealing what they wanted of ours… what low lives. Turns out they are. Local resident guests created drama refusing to give our clothes back… when I complained the room phone was cut off. Stay at your own risk. Not a safe property. Cell. Phones don't work in the rooms. You won't get rest here… you'll be set up to be arrested! Old management seemed better. And safer.

Great bargain for a night or two. Close to both places I visted Jekyll island and St Simon's island.

Worst hotel ever. Came to room dirty sheets and blankets. Got new ones. Went to the room to check my card to see how much money I had left. Well that's when I discovered I got charged $163 three times. Never coming back to this hotel.

Hotel looks okay from the front, but room maintenance is very poor and our "non smoking" room (the entire hotel is supposed to be non-smoking) reeked of cigarette smoke. Internet connectivity was poor. There is no security fencing around the facility nor security guard, which was disturbing considering the area in which the motel is located. Breakfast was poor and the daytime staff impolite. Not only would I not stay here in the future, but after this experience I will not stay in an Econo Lodge at all. Had I not checked in late at night after a full day of driving — — and paid cash — — I would have departed as soon as I encountered the smelly room.

I wish I could post pictures of all the roaches I took pictures of! Lord have mercy! And when I went to complain about it, they literally ONLY took off $5 off of the bill. Got the nerve to say they have free breakfast, no thanks. If there are roaches in the rooms I'm sure there'll be roaches in the kitchens. Disgusting, horrible service, the attitude at the front desk was unnecessary. I do not recommend ANYONE stay there! Roaches on the floor, in the shower, behind the toilet, by the mirror in the main part of the room, just dirty. I didn't see the roaches until the next morning when I woke up in the morning meaning they were sleeping around me.

When we arrived at the hotel around 8pm the young gentleman checked us in with no issues. We called down and asked him where we could get dinner and he was very cordial. We went to dinner and came back and the only space to park was in the back of the hotel, we backed in and noticed a vehicle that had suspicious activity. We came in because like most travelers we have several things in our vehicle that we do not unload, especially for one night. We went to the front desk and reported the car and the young man said he would check it out and then a woman stated maybe people just like sitting in their cars to talk, very rude. Needless to say if the staff of the hotel isn't worried about my property, I will not be worried about staying here again. Hopefully my vehicle is in tact in the morning. Sad Ohio Buckeye.

I have stayed at hotels before but this one sucks after getting back home I was shocked to see I was bitten all up. You guys have bed bugs. Need to get those rooms clean and have your pest control not walk pass rooms but spray them. Yes I know what bed bugs are since I manage a hotel also. Very disappointed in a Choice Hotel Chain.

Was given 3 rooms in a 10 minute period due to the first two being dirty. Towels on the floor, beds not made up, and water bottles on the tables. Pubic hairs on the toilet seat and the beds weren't that great either.

It is very nice place. Clean, silence, tasty dinner. Sorry for my english, I am the tourist from Russia.

Put there for work. Wouldn't recommend it.

It was nice, quiet, not that bad except the rest room needed alot more attention from cleaning staff. Walls n door to restroom were horrible dirty.

Comfortable bed. Room is clean. Safe was locked and couldn't open it. Phone didn't work.

Dont stay here they are rude. We got kicked out for being outside our room. The very rude black man came up to us and told us to get back in our room or we would be kicked out and then said just leave. If I could give this a — 10 I would. The owner should be ashamed of this hotel or should I say dump.

Friendly staff at check-in. Clean room. Best breakfast for a quick stopover. All in all, a good experience.

Not a happy stay got moved to 3 rooms for we got a good one then left laptop case and I have to pay to get it sent to me but that's OK want stay there again.

Was clean had breakfast and soft bed thats all I need on a trip from NY.

I was most pleased the brackfast could have been a little more but room and everything was fine.

Beds were very comfortable and rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good as well. Pool was full of leaves, shower head needed to be replaced.

Was watching a dvd in our room with our laptop with the lights off until we noticed one roach crawling around. Turned on the lights and saw 3 more crawling back under the bed. Sos.
