Love to stay in the suite and the rooms with jacuzzi. Very nice owners and manager. Very clean.

Before I go on with my story, I am super glad that Budgetel was so accommodating during the week of the Master's! Not only was my room pleasant to stay on Tuesday night ~ I Experience the most profound happiness from such honest/trustworthy personnel! What great anxiety came over me when I forgot my wallet behind with great amount of money along with my passport and credit cards. The overwhelming peace of mind to receive calming news by the front desk Manager that my belongings was all there. All I can say is Wow, Wow, Wow… I am so grateful that there are beautiful great people in this world.

This place is the worst hotel ive stayed in. It's old and worn out, dirty, the tubs are disgusting. There is black mold growing in the bathroom. The bed is not comfortable pillows so hard I woke up with a headache. Just very worn out and in need of a lot of work. The staff seems nice but I didn't come here to spend time with them. No bugs found here so that's the great thing.

I really don't even want to give them one star. This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. I stayed one week and on the first day, I called the front desk to let them know that my room had roaches. When I ask for a refund I was told that I could not get a refund. I also had to ask for some sheets and when I was brought the sheets they were not sheets they were freaking bed skirts. When I ask for some more wash clothes hand towels and towels, I just discovered that it was a bed bug. This is the most nastiest hotel ever don't ever stay here. I don't care what none of these other review say about how their stay was and the freaking jacuzzi tub that junk don't even freaking work. Don't ever come to the Budgetel Inn on Gordon Highway next to the Waffle House this is this is this hotel is freaking disgusting and does not make any sense like freaking roaches that's nasty. I spent $270 on this room and for this I'm beyond pissed. This hotel will be hearing from me again like it I would have been fine if I could have just gotten my money back when I ask for it but I was told that I was not going to receive a refund I was only there for one day when I wanted to go it was just one night when I wanted to freaking go. Because I did not receive my refund when I first asked for it and I'm still having problems with this room like I'm going through all types of measures to make sure no one else comes to this hotel.

Loved the staff and room price was just right.

Had a good time, paid for it but it was fun.

I for one am disappointed in not only the staff but the management. If you are a weekly stay, they only clean the rooms 2 times a week. And as a weekly guest you are not entitled to use the continental breakfast. Which also is nothing but mostly muffins and toast, coffee and orange juice. They advertise $ 235 for a week then let you only stay for 6 nights.

Filthy, crusty, scary hotel. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. I felt ill just seeing that couch. Everything was stained or dirty. The night time hotel desk staff was rude. She was paying more attention to her boyfriend (assuming that's who the guy wandering around smoking was) than to me when I was attempting to check in. Do not stay here.

Honestly worse customer service ever! My friend and I were driving down from VA and didn't get to Augusta till 1:30 in the morning and we had the hotel booked. So I got in to get us checked in so we can sleep for three hours before having to get on the road again. So as I go inside and tell the gentleman working we are here to check in and give him my name and he proceed to tell me that the lady working earlier tried to call me to tell me that my card was declined and there are no more rooms. This man was not very nice to me after he told me this as I explained to him and showed him my call history log that no one ever tried to get in contact with me and there is no reason for my card to be declined as I never use it. So we had to go find a new hotel at 1:30 in the morning and guess what when I paid with that same card for $107 compare to the $70 I was going to be charged here, it went through just fine with no problems. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wow! looking at the reviews. They were more good than bad. And the photos of this hotel are wonderful. I will be staying here this coming weekend.

My Wife and I stayed here for 4 day and we had a wonderful time the staff was very friendly. The room we stayed in was clean. When we first got here we had only one issue the toilet seat was loss and the had it fixed in just a few min. I would stay here again. We are planing on coming back in a couple of months and this is where we are going to stay.

Looks shabby from the outside, but it's a decent place. No roaches, no bed bugs, no issues. Just a cheap and cool hotel.

BED BUGS! Horrible Experience. I am paying the price for staying at the Econo Lodge Hotel. I received hundreds of bits from bed bugs. I killed 3 bugs prior to my departure. I am now currently taking 3 medication because of the bites. I called the management 3 times now and they don't care. I have called the health department to do a investigation. This is the worst hotel experience of my life. Paid $225 per night to stay in this filthy place.

Well the rooms are always clean an the people are nice here an they always ask you if you need anything an when you need something they alway get it for you.

Told manager my room had critters so they moved me close to the office and that room was filled with bugs in my bed that night. I finally had to be treated for bed bug bites and Infection. I was not even refunded my money for the stay.

Bed bugs! Notified manager who was already aware due to other complaints they did nothing. My 2 small kids and myself were all severly bitten when we visited my husband who has stayed here for out of town work. Not knowing they travel and are transported in luggage they ended up back in my home where my home was infested and kids severly bitten and thousands of dollars spent to rid the problem. The hotel owner mike patel will not return ANY phone calls after numerous attempts. Do not stay here.

I love staying here I get free breakfast, snd newpaper every morning. They also have free access to Wi-Fi. They beds are a good size clean and tidy. There employees are some of the sweetest people. I will definitely be staying as long as I can. One of the Best hotel in Augusta Georgia. Off Gordon HWY come check it out for your self's.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the shower ran when u turn on the water for the tub. The sheets had spots an worst of all they haf roaches I ended up leaving I had had enough can u say roach hotel.

The room smelled like a kennel. … PU. Never judge a book by it's cover. By outward appearances the place looks decent and even when you open the room door it looks passable, but the smell of urine is VERY overwhelming. Avoid room 117… just saying. If your an early riser, good luck finding anything close to grab a cup of coffee and heaven forbid anyone tell you good morning. Southern hospitality, like chivalry, is dead.

I love it here. Always had a clean room. And Yes bath tub and kinda older or worn. I have never had a problem. Have been here several times for wrk. Never had bugs.

Yes the place is nasty and full of bugs. Mattresses are changed out from somewhere else and replaced after the Masters Tournament. Rampant with prostitution and drugs. Never stayed myself but have seen enough in the parking lot to convince me this is not the place to go. In fact I would avoid any place such as this on Gordon Hwy.

For the price it was okay, but the tub looked dirty, the bedspreads were very thin, the fridge had this weird smell to it and the room smelled like a clean cigarette.

Stayed 3 different times here. Different check-ins/outs. Rates are the best! Staff always available/accommodating. Very convenient to highways, shopping, convenience and downtown area. BEST value for sanity.

For a budget hotel this place is great. The staff are friendly and helpful and their free continental breakfast is presented nicely. I would avoid the Waffle House next door (rude wait-staff and the food is poorly prepared) but the hotel staff suggested other nearby dining that was excellent. Next time I'm staying in Augusta I will certainly stay here.

Great Price! Jacuzzi in room, quiet, clean. The bed was as hard as the parking lot, everything else was great.
