This hotel needs to be fully renovated instead of charging brides for a wedding experience that you can not commit to. Everything is broken, elevators, stages, ceilings, things are dirty and the staff is rude.

Check in was great and valet is very helpful! The rooms been great. Only complaint would be the pools closed.

Wonderful experience every time! Our go-to place when we visit Atlanta. Friendly staff, beautiful historic hotel, and great convenient walk to everywhere location in Midtown. It is the epitome of Southern charm!

I stayed at this hotel on 3/13/2022. Our room 611 was like a low end hotel. The wood flooring in the livingroom had spaces so large you could see the green foam material. My shoe heel 👠 almost got caught twice. The bathroom sink drainage was so slow it was hard to use. The light in the bedroom didn't work. I called the front desk to report and didn't get an answer. Brian at the front desk said they can only answer the phone one call at a time. I spoke with Tahira the hotel manager and she rushed me off the phone. She seemed to not be concerned at all.

Terrible experience. Got stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes, no one from the hotel reached out or tried to help. After 30 minutes they finally tried to break the door open with no success, however we had to actually call the police and fire department because the hotel simply didn’t even try. When we after 45 minutes (we were three people and one of us had a panick attack) when we finally got to the lobby nobody was working. Not one person at the front desk! And they heard us scream cus we could hear them outside the one time they actually tried to help us get out. Literally rang the help bell for minutes straight because one of the group couldn’t breathe. This hotel is trash from the front door to the management I would not recommend staying here, and If you so take the stairs cus they won’t give a f*ck once you’re actually stuck!

Absolute worst experience ever. I will never stay here again and will never recommend to anyone… EVER. It's a beautiful place, but it is falling apart. Upon check out, we learned our car (which was valet parked) had been stolen!

After 9:00 pm check in is not an option. There is no valet parking and the parking garage is around the corner. Not safe. No escort. Did they care? No refund. Bad customer service! Livid. The trip was to see my brother in hospice at Emory hospital right down the block. Wonder how many other grieving customers they have taken advantage of?

PLEASE RESPOND TO ME! My husband and I stayed at the Georgian Terrace on Thursday October 29th and we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Your hotel came highly recommended and we were surprisingly very disappointed with our room and our stay. The room was so dated and dirty and some of the lights didnt work. We thought the staff was very unfriendly especially the security man and then we got charged $70 to park 2 cars overnight. I would like to be refunded for our stay and parking. We were in room 507. Please get back to me ASAP!

Aesthetically pleasing with lots of character, overall we enjoyed our stay at the Georgian. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. The room was very nice and clean and the hotel was within walking distance of downtown and in a good location. The beds were very comfortable with pillow tops. There were a few drawbacks like the lack of lighting in the rooms and a fire alarm disturbance later in the evening but that was due to a wedding party using sparklers for whatever reason in the hotel. The temperature of the room seemed a little off and they didn't have any fans for extra air circulation. There were some odd noises coming from different places but I think it was due to the age of the building with its creaks and moans which is typical in old buildings. I wear earplugs at night so many of those disturbances didn't affect me too much. And the elevators were very slow. We usually had to wait on an elevator for 3-5 min before its arrival. That was a little annoying but I attributed that to the busy holiday weekend with lots of people staying there. We did enjoy our stay altogether. The restaurant was really nice as well. Good food and modern environment. Staff was great overall.

Very classy hotel. Stunning entrance, stairways and balconies. My room had two bed rooms, living room and full kitchen, including full size refrigerator, four burner stove and oven and microwave. The rooftop saltwater pool was just the right temperature for a 90 degree day. The staff were courteous and very helpful. True Southern Hospitality!

My wife and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. The architectural ambiance was mesmerizing. The service was commendable. However, the luxury room accommodations, although very clean did not live up to our expectations. There was a large closet space that would have been the perfect place for a nice garden tub. We expected a whole lot more considering this hotel sits right across from the historical fox theater.

Every aspect of the process from the reservations to check-in/check-out was exceptional. You could see that the staff not only enjoyed their job but they enjoyed welcoming you to enjoy your stay and to have the best experience as possible. The chief concierge, Trevor, went over and beyond with accommodating me during my stay. The rooms were plush, clean, and unique to the hotel's overall decor.

The atmosphere of the lobby is incredible. The entire staff went above and beyond to be freindly, welcoming, and helpful. The room decor was very attractive and modern. With the location being close to so many quality restaurants and coffee shops, it is also quite convenient. I was attending an event at the Fox Theater and the Terrace is directly across the street, making everything I needed within walking distance. My stay at the Georgian Terrace was superb in every way!

Great staff. Friendly and helpful! Views views are so far and beautiful. There is a rooftop pool and a gym too. The 1 bedroom units are nice and decorated in modern style. The kitchen is a perfect size fore ONE person. 2 closets and a dining room table as well as a living room area with a loveseat, chair and a TV The bedroom is ROUND and very cool! Windows lots of them with blackout curtains. What a great place. I could live here!

Loved this hotel. The history behind it alone was awesome. Right across the street from the Fox make it a great place to stay and not have to fight the crowds and traffic after the concert. Excellent rooms and staff at the front desk we're very courteous. Beautiful place and will definitely go back soon.

Came here for a wedding. The hotel itself seemed a little small. Looks great and historic, but there wasn't much to see walking around. Ceremony and reception were solid and the penthouse suite was nice too. Food was good and drinks were decently strong. DJ was cool.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Georgian Terrace. The first time was our wedding night. Both times have been amazing! The rooms are beautiful, the staff is kind and sociable, and the overall experience is unforgettable. We would recommend this hotel to out of town and in town guests.

We stayed at the Georgian Terrace Hotel because we were going to a concert at the Fox Theatre across the street. The hotel was clean and beautiful with gorgeous architecture and stunning views of Atlanta. Guido and his whole staff from the time we checked in to the time we checked out provided us with an incredible weekend getaway that we won't soon forget. From room service, to delicious snacks and drinks at the bar and an incredible breakfast at the Livingston Restaurant, we could not have been happier with our stay and will definitely be back! Thanks again for everything!

I love historic building and older hotels and always seek them out. Not only did the cast of Gone with the Wind stay and celebrate here, but so did Walt Disney, among many others I'm sure. Everyone working here that I crossed paths with — at the front desk, maid service, restaurant & bar staff — was incredibly helpful and friendly. When the A/C broke in my room they comped me the room and offered a new room — which I turned down as the room was quite comfortable without the air blasting. I would definitely stay again!

Historic and beautiful hotel. There is a pool that you can visit on the top overlooking the entire city. The restaurant has incredible meals and they are reasonably priced. Five star room service. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay. The staff, for the most part was excellent. The classic architecture was beautiful and our room was amazing,. More than we expected. A nice little hidden gem in Atlanta and we definitely stay again on our next trip through town.

The rooms were nice and the facility was nice as well. The location was great! They were having some issues with parking at the time, but it was a very minor issue in my opinion and didn't affect my perception of service. The beef jerky in the restaurant downstairs was excellent! However, one of the bartenders wasn't very friendly and gave the impression that we weren't sophisticated enough to be there. I ended up doing my business with another bartender and she was wonderful. Overall, good experience and stay at The Georgian Terrace.

My wife and I stayed here for a mini-vacation and absolutely loved it. The building itself has an moderately vintage look. The rooms are spacious and give off a neo-southern vibe. We recommend The Georgian Terrace to anyone looking to stay in Midtown Atlanta due to the central location to many of the area's attractions.

The Georgian Terrace is a great place! Right downtown close to lots of stuff to do. The rooms are really nice, great amenities. The bar and restaurant downstairs was excellent. Food, service, and drinks are top notch. Highly recommended!

Strange layout in multiple rooms. One room was huge with a large walk-in closet, plus two extra closets, another was tiny. Service was great at the check-in and check-out. This is a pretty large hotel with a boutique feel. Right across the street from the Fox theater. I could hear street noise pretty loudly through the night and I was on the 16th floor. Nice soft sheets. Decent bed.

Overpriced! No breakfast or free parking or free coffee really. Be sure to add $25/day for parking to your bill. Its a classic building that just means it is old but mostly upgraded. The room was clean. In midtown across from Fox theater so that was good I guess. Take your money and family to a Marriott or motel six you will get more if what you paid for…

The staff were all great. Incredibly professional and helpful. The hotel was directly across the street from our destination so we parked and walked everywhere we wanted to go. There were molding pieces missing from our furniture in our room and the coffee was horrible. I was just expecting better from a $180/night room.

This place is historic and absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, the rooms are a little run down with dirty walls no pictures or anything hung on the walls which makes it feel very drab. You will absolutely be treated differently if you booked through a third party site like Expedia Etc. Definitely check out the cool bar downstairs, awesome photo opportunities in the main foyer.

Beautiful place. It's worth a visit even if you're not staying. Besides because it is very pretty, for its history around what the wind took.

Gotta start with the awesome staff. From check in to check out, every employee I saw or talked with smiled and helped me with whatever I needed. You can tell they take pride in their jobs. The hotel is beautiful and unique. Modernized but still classic. The roof top pool looks great (too chilly when we visited to swim) and the view is amazing.

The Georgian Terrace hotel is expensive, but it is worth It! Great customer service. The rooms are clean. Excellent views! Great accommodations if you are attending a show at The Fabulous Fox… which is across the street.

Rooms with 2 rooms at a super price.

Great location with plenty to do around you, whether catching a show at the theatre across the street or grabbing dinner and drinks at one of the many restaurants or bars in the area. The hotel itself has a nice interior and they do a good job of making it feel classy. While the room seemed to have been updated, you can tell it was older by the kitchen and the washing machines. All other parts of the suite were very nice. The hotel restaurant was nice, if you want to order up room service and the bar had excellent drinks and atmosphere.

I've stayed at the Georgian Terrace before and found it to be very nice. The rooms I have stayed in have a modern look and are comfy. The staff was very friendly and courteous as well as knowledgeable about the area. They have a rooftop pool (closed intermittently in the winter time for obvious reasons. ) The hotel is well within walking distance of entertainment and several places to eat. During my stay I took advantage of the discount they give customers who are residents of the southern states. The room was one of their smaller ones with a full size bed. It was very clean and well maintained. The shower and sink worked fine. If I had to criticize anything about it, I would say a full size bed is not for everyone. It would be fine for one person as the mattress itself was comfortable, but for two people it's a little cramped.

I would like to first of all thank Mr. Vincent Anthony front desk manager for his superb customer service. Not only was he polite, courteous, friendly and respectful, but he was also observed picking up paper around the hotel and opening doors for the guest. Most managers sit behind their desk, in their big office and push paper while barking orders. Mr. Anthony is very active in the operation of the Georgian and what I think was the most important part of my stay, the greeting and the feeling of being accepted. I applaud you and your wonderful staff. I was with you all for 4 wonderful weeks while I worked a travel assignment which was very trying. Rooms and accommodations were exceptional. Definitely enjoyed the stay. When given a complimentary upgrade, front desk staff change the entire room type (to a single king bedroom) instead of keeping the preferred room type (suite) and upgrading to a larger/renovated room of the same type. Had to revisit front desk. Beds are comfortable. And renovated rooms are spacious. But rooms with wooden floors have little soundproofing.

House keeping is terrible. Paid for a 3bedroom suite. It was not stocked with any supplies. I texted to have items brought several times but they would never bring enough. (Dinnerware towels soap dish detergent. Never received glasses or cups. ) When I arrived I guess I didn't look like the valet type I was immediately told to go in the parking deck and park my car. I think for the amount of money I spent I should have received better service.

Went there for a corporate holiday party, stayed overnight. Beautiful hotel. Great desk staff, and food service staff for the party were exceptional. Bell hops not very professional. Room, on 15th floor was remodeled and lovely. I will return. I would definitely use their banquet services for an elegant event.

This hotel is hands down beautiful. I'm not sure if it was construction going on or a movie shooting but it did cause lots of traffic around the building. That didn't take away from the beauty inside or out. Me and my fiance went to inquire and get wedding information and got a tour of some of the ballrooms. I will definitely come back here to stay for a nights.

The room I stayed in was beautiful. It was a king size suite with a nice view of the area on the 17th floor. Floor was generally quiet there were some door banging from my neighbors and staffs bringing up room services. It had a nice size bed and was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small in comparison with very little counter space for toiletry items. The shower hot water took about 5 mins to heat up but had good water pressure. Beautiful older building with some artsy feel to it.

Phenomenal food and service. We arrived prior to a concert at the fox theatre. They went out of their way to get us served and on our way to make the performance. Highly recommend for caliber of service, cuisine and architectural ambience.

This is a nice place for a short stay, it's in a convenient location. In my first stay, I experienced a not really pleasant interaction with one of the staff at the reception. The second time, Internet connection was down the whole night. I was staying at the third floor and I couldn't sleep because of the noise from the motors right down my window. At least the staff at the reception had the courtesy of offering me a breakfast voucher. Decent place in total.

My parents only ever stay at the Georgian Terrace when they come to visit. They love the hotel for it's service, great rooms, and convenient location. I recommend it to anyone visiting Atlanta and wanting to stay in midtown.

Location, bar, restaurant all great. Room lousy. Dirty floors. No chair, although space provided for one. No concern from staff about helping get one. Wife and I, seniors, walked uphill 2 blocks from MARTA station on very hot day to entrance with 2 pieces of luggage each and not one of the 3 Valet Parking guys who were standing around would even open the door for us. Terrible.

Great place for a short stay, right in the center of the city. I went to the fox theater with my kid to watch a Harry Potter movie, located across the street! The hotel is old but has been remodeled. The room we had is equipped with kitchen and washer dryer, but really old model. Overall, a nice hotel.

My husband and I went here on our mini-honeymoon and we absolutely LOVED our stay. We had booked a one bedroom room and somehow when we got to our room we had a suite! Complete with two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen! I'm guessing the other rooms were booked maybe? Not sure but was definitely not going to complain. The ONLY thing that happened was we had the "lovers package" (or something named like that) where they send up strawberries and champagne and they usually send it up at like 6PM or something so we asked the front desk if they would send it up at 8 or 9PM because we were going to a Fox Theater show across the street and when we got to the room you could tell it had been sitting there for hours, the ice was all melted, and wasn't nearly as good as it would have been. Other than that we had a great stay. Thank you!

We ate at Livingston restaurant. Very nice dining room and good service. The menu is fairly small but had some good specials. They had a great drink menu. Definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is in a good location close to local attractions right across from the Fox Theatre. The first room didn't have the requested kitchen and King size bed, but it did have an awesome view of the city. Trip down to the front desk and the desired room suite was available. Complete living room, closed in full kitchen, bedroom, sitting area, washer and dryer. Also with very large windows with amazing views of the city.

Expected much more. Bathroom was tiny in a 950 sq ft suite. One trash can in the entire suite. Towels were rough. Shower door was of the glass variety and would not close properly. Several hooks meant for hanging items should be taken off the walls since they would most likely fall off if you did try to hang something. Full size fridge but no microwave. Weird. The bar in the basement is good and the room service was perfect. The rooftop pool was not impressive during the day. Might be nice at night.

Location is excellent. Right across from the Fox Theater. Rooms are large! Included a washer and dryer, kitchen, fridge, dining table. Everyone was friendly. Lots of cool places within walking distance. P&P (downstairs eatery) was nice but a bit pricier than it's worth.

The hotel was quite amazing. The night life is close by, and many historical landmarks in Atlanta, such as Coca Cola world, and the Martinis Luther King memorial. The food is not the best, but for a hotel, it is above average. Definitely would recommend.

Where to begin. Room was a let down. No mini fridge. No mirror besides the one in the bathroom. No microwave. Sheets where awful no blankets. Just two pieces of horrible cheap fabric. The staff was not very helpful. Some were flat out rude and acted as though our questions were an inconvenience. The parking situation is a nightmare. Keys to the garage not working as the were not programmed correctly. For the money you're paying to stay here there are way nicer and more accommodating hotels. Only giving two stars for the door man who helped us get a mirror after asking three times and waiting hours. And the beautiful building. Not much else to compliment.

My husband and I stayed at the Georgian Terrace recently to celebrate our anniversary. We had stayed there the night we got married before leaving for our honeymoon. I told them this, and they upgraded us to a penthouse room! The view was beautiful! It's not the fanciest hotel, the furniture could be updated, but we had a wonderful stay. It will always be a special place to us and we would recommend for a fun evening in Atlanta.

I stayed one night and found the room to be charming in a southern way. The facility has a nice style and is generally clean. Eating at Livingston's was pretty good for dinner, not as good but decent for dinner. Across from the theater, it was not lacking in visual appeal. Parking was $25 and it was easy to hear everything going in the hallways from the room. Might stay again but not a must do again place.

We've not had a bad room yet! Stayed in 1209 this past visit and wish we were there more than 1 night! It had 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and beautiful bath. Great hotel and impeccable service again!

Room was much larger than expected and very modern. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. Suite included a full size kitchen. Staff was very polite and efficient. Location was excellent. Plenty of nearby restaurants.

I stayed at the Georgian Terrace to hang out with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. Instead of going out in the city we opted to stay in our 2 bedroom suite and play games, there was a total of 5 people in the room and there was plenty of room. A small table provided the perfect space to play Cards Against Humanity and there was ample comfortable seating with a couch and 2 chairs. The beds were very comfortable and the room was decorated beautifully. My only complaint was the lack of refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed breakfast at the Livingston the next morning. It was very good and not incredibly overpriced. Service was fast and our server was nice. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

It was a pleasant stay. Nice rooms, but no refrigerator. The continental breakfast vouchers leave a lot to be desired: $7 voucher to be used at the restaurant downstairs with a menu that charges 5 for fruit parfait, $8 for a Belgian waffle with regular syrup ($3 extra for maple syrup), and a waitstaff that is inattentive. Enjoyed the stay though.

By far my favorite place to stay when I'm in ATL. I even put up with a 25 minute commute when I'm working in the area so I can stay there. It has been recently renovated with a modern, upscale feel to go along with pretty good service and classic historical style. Right across from the theater and within walking distance to all sorts of food and drink!

Good: * This is a pretty hotel, and it has lovely rooms. My two bedroom suite was larger and nicer than my 1 bedroom apartment. * The room has very good views. * The hotel has great amenities; gym, pool and what looks like a pretty fancy hotel. Bad: * I arrived at the Georgian Terrace at 11pm, got out the taxi and walked to the front door, where their security asked me "where are you going? ". That was a first. By contrast, the front desk was friendly and helpful. * The room was musty/moldy smelling. I tried to open the windows to air out the room, but I couldn't because they were "nailed" shut * I rented a two bedroom suite for myself. On Thursday night, I took the covers from the second room, on Friday night, I learned that the second room was locked. Sigh.

We had the sunday brunch buffet in Livingston restaurant. The food was excellent. The room itself was a bit messy, and server staff hard to come by. For the price they charge I would expect a bit more quality of service.

We had a three bedroom room and out was fantastic. We were on the third floor and had some street noise until around 11pm but then it was quite. Rooms were very nice but the bathroom could use some maintenance since to vanity was I need of repair. Service was great. We valet parked and they were very efficient.

Very enjoyable, professional staff, exceptionally clean rooms. The blankets were lightweight, which I am not a fan of, but beds are comfortable. The adjoining tavern had great cocktails, thought food was so so. Overall, a great stay and I will definitely be back.

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Our go-to hotel in ATL. Professional staff, great location and spacious rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable and the suites are modern with a decent view. Improvements: The valet parking personnel was a bit impatient and there is only two elevators so that can be a bit of a wait during peak times.

Not the nicest rooms; kind of older with what feels like a relatively cheap recent renovation. However, the speak-easy bar downstairs is very cool and has some wonderful cocktails. Friendly staff throughout the property. Rooftop pool needs some upgrading but it too is pretty cool and provides very good downtown views.

They have the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in in a hotel! This hotel has a great historical background with the historical Fox Theater right across the street. The rooms are nice.

We had the most fun at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. This was our second time staying at the hotel and Trevor, the Concierge, made it extremely memorable! He was fantastic! I have and would recommend this hotel to all of our friends!

The staff at The Georgian Terrace is fantastic. I shared a room with friends for a conference, and Linda was incredibly patient and helpful during the booking and payment process. We were not easy guests because we needed to split payment in various ways, but Linda's attitude was wonderful and a great start to the trip. Vinson was also a great help. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We loved the view from the rooftop pool.

I had the worst stay ever. I went here with a friend we had drinks last night ordered food from room service went to sleep. Early on Sunday a woman and man appeared in the room at 8:30am and said the room had been paid for but the credit card on file declined last night for room service of $300.00 and the food was not that great the best thing they have here is the wine. But anyway they escorted me and my friend downstairs to a conference room with the police waiting because my other friend was not their and his name was on the room so they wanted me to pay for it. I said this is not my room but I had already given my friend money for the room. The security guard told the police to take me to jail for eating a piece of peacan pie. They handcuffed me escorted me through the lobby for theft of services? But thank God my friend pulled up to pay with another card. I never been so humiliated in my life do not stay here they are very rude in the day time who comes inside your room while you are sleep saying pay. When you already have $300 for the room plus a $75 deposit. The total bill for a day was $593. I could have stayed at the intercontinental in buckhead for cheaper and had everything included in my fees.

The Lobby was nice, and that's about it! Booked two rooms for a conference, the two bedroom suite smelled very stale, the room was serviced only 1 day out of 3. One of the two elevators did not work, resulting sitting at the lobby for very long periods of time. Booked one room with the Valet parking package and yet was charged valet parking. Worse yet we because we had two rooms we were charged valet parking for both rooms when we only had one car. Over this hotel clams it is a 4 star establishment, I would give it 2.5 at best.

SEP 2014 had a large group for a Sales Event and the experience was absolutely fabulous: good and friendly staff, food EXCELLENT in the meeting rooms and at Livingstones; we had a special group dinner on site which was absolutely memorable. I organized this meeting and had about 45 people from US, Europe and South America in attendance and did not hear one single complaint from the group. As the organizer of this event, I was fully supported by the staff, so it was a joy to organize another successful event! Thank you.

As a wedding photographer I have been to every venue in Atlanta and I can say if you're looking for a beautiful location with professional staff that provide the perfect experience you can't do any better than The Georgian Terrace. The Grand Ball Room is stunning and can fit a large wedding. If you want something more intimate the Mitchell Ball room is the perfect size for a small wedding. The Penthouse suites really separate the Georgian Terrace from any other wedding venue in Atlanta. The rooms have beautiful interior decorating and are ideal for bridal party shoots before the wedding.

I booked the Georgian Terrace for a week for a business conference. I was first assigned to a suite that looked and smelled ancient. The toilet ran all night. The heat could not be adjusted. It was very uncomfortable. I explained the issues to the front desk the next morning, and told them the suite looked nothing like what was represented in the pictures online when I booked. They moved me to another suite that still looked and smelled very old, explaining there were no renovated suites lower than the 17th floor. When I met up with my colleagues also staying there, not only had they been upgraded to a renovated suite, they'd been given the choice of several empty renovated suites on floors lower than the 17th. Although I was upset to the blatant lie I'd been told, I didn't want to make a big deal about it. But then my key was deactivated and could not be reactivated until their system came back up. At that point, I told the staff of my overall disappointment in the bald-faced lie. They apologized and covered my parking for the duration of the stay in lieu of moving my room AGAIN for only one night. While I appreciate the gesture, it did little to quell my overall disappointment with the hotel and my stay. To make matters worse, I thought my kitchen didn't have any utensils, glasses or plates until, on the last day, I opened my dishwasher to find it full of dirty dishes. Shame on you, Georgian Terrace.

I stayed at the Georgian Terrace for a week for work. First of all, the location was perfect for me. I was able to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, the Taste of Atlanta and Georgia Tech' campus. I couldn't resist catching a show across the street at the Fox theatre. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The service was great as well. The concierge set me up with a straight razor shave at a local men's grooming parlor, the front desk held my bags, charged my phone and didn't get upset when I lost my luggage ticket (oops). The bellmen and bellmen were especially helpful, remembered me and my preferences and gave some great local food recommendations. I had an amazing stay. Highly recommended.

The Georgian Terrace Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel with full-service business center conference rooms and grand event spaces for gatherings of any size. The Livingston Restaurant located within the hotel is also a great place for private dining with views of the Fox Theatre across the street.

The building is very beautiful and is in a great location, but I would never stay there again. I read the reviews before I booked, but it looked so nice I thought i'd give it a try anyway. We went to a wedding there and stayed 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend. To start I booked a room with 2 beds, but when I walked in, realized it was 1 king. My husband was a little offended that i'd wanted separate beds, so I thought i'd better leave that one alone. Friends staying at another hotel described the room as large, but it's mostly wasted space. There is a long hallway with a bunch of weird secret doors you can't open (there used to be a kitchen area, but the new owner decided to take them out) and an unnecessarily large closet. We had 2 phones in our room, but one didn't work. It didn't matter because every time we tried to call room service or the front desk, no one answered. When we finally did get a hold of someone the service was horrible. They sound nice and smile while they say no to your every request. There is always a super long wait for the elevator. When they cleaned our room they didn't leave us clean towels. You have to pay $25 for an old beat up fridge, not sure how much the microwave would have been. Oh also, did I mention parking is $18-25 per night! You could try street parking, but we had a rental and didn't want to chance it. I felt like I was being price gouged.

The Georgian Terrace Hotel is a well-located hotel in Midtown-Atlanta, close to Downtown and its shops, also close to the metro and MARTA bus stations. Restaurants and other places where breakfast/lunch/dinner are within walking distance.
The place is very clean, the service impeccable, the room I had (a small "suite") was well equipped and air conditioned, as almost all buildings in Atlanta. The free internet connection was also at the appointment: Wi-Fi near the reception, Wired (Ethernet cable lent) in the rooms.
The only black spot was a recurring noise from I-do-know which engine, probably the general air conditioning: Every hour, for about ten minutes, a loud enough noise outside the hotel. Annoying the first night when you have trouble sleeping because of the jet lag, much less the following nights when you are tired and sleep arrives quickly.
In short, a place to recommend even if it seems that other hotels in the area are a little cheaper for substantially identical benefits.
I advise nonetheless.
