Horrible experience. The power went out. No lightning, no power, complete DARKNESS. Hotel staff didn’t notify us of what was going on. My family missed our flight and the children couldn’t log into virtual schooling. Complained to the general manager JEFF WALKER, he did absolutely NOTHING. He was very rude.

This is the most horrific hotel I ever stayed with. Thinking it is t downtown it would be nice but it was the complete opposite. For starters it smelled like mothballs and old ppl cologn in the lobby. The room smelled bad as well. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and the entire time NOBODY asked us to clean the room or take the trash out or Even bring us clean towels. The fridge is in the bathroom which is disgusting.

Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Stay here everytime I'm in town. The one is Charlotte NC is nice as well. ❤

It’s a nice room, it was weird having hotel staff knock on the door but not announce themselves before you open it when you ask who is it and they knocked on our door at weird times everyday at least once.

They are very respectful and it was a very comfortable stay.

The reservation agents give different information than what’s given at the hotel. Per the hotel staff the reservation agent never gives correct information. I booked a king and was advise then I checked in there wasn’t a king available. I also didn’t know I had to pay $30 for parking. This was my first stay and my last. I called the front desk and spoke with Wen she was very rude and unhelpful. Never again,!

Pity hotel, bad attention in general, we weigh breakfast and no cleaning in rooms the 4 nights.

They put a boot on my pick up truck because it was using two spaces in the back corner they caused me to miss my flight they tried to charge me $95 to take the boot off I had a parking permit on my dashboard just like everybody else my pick up truck does not fit in one l spot it’s a “dually”
The manager wouldn’t even take responsibility trying to tell me that the parking lot is run by subcontractors even though their name is all over the place he left me to deal with the security guard there are other hotels directly nearby that are much nicer and have much better customer service I highly recommend you stay away from this place.

This place must do a new team! the other day I came in to get a room and this front desk lady with brown hair chubby and nasty attitude was no help! she was very rude and treated me like I couldn't afford the room there. 1. I came in the hotel no greeting!
2. Asked about the price of the room… no eye connecting for a response just a $199.99 WITH AN ATTITUDE!
3. She also say if you not getting a room you need to leave! right when I wad trying to find out about getting a room with my friend I was there to get a room not to hang out. I have been in hospitality for many years and this not how you treat guest. This wad around 1am on Tuesday July 23 the lady who worked that shift isn't going to bring more guest she really pushing the guest away. She need to be fire and let go for how she treat guest.

Makeup bag was stolen by an employee of the hotel very unprofessional hotel never leave your valuables in your room or the hotel the employees are thieves!

I’m currently sitting OUTSIDE of my hotel room because my key and the staff key doesn’t work. My dinner I went down to pick up is cold and all my belongings are inside the room. Most of the elevators are broken. Not doing this again.

Very rude employees and was stuck on the elevator. Will not be coming back.

My husband and I have stayed at Aloft three years in a row for Dragoncon in Downtown Atlanta. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and it’s a great location for all things Downtown Atlanta has to offer. My one star review is because for the SECOND year in a row we have been double charged for our room because of an “ACCOUNTING ERROR”. This year we have been passed from voicemail to voicemail trying to get our money back. Is there anyone that can help? We are tired of having to chase down someone for an error that “your accounting program” made! Please make this right!

The Aloft chain have been a great little find for me. Hip little hotels that are really modern have some cool features. There are starting to pop up everywhere. The Atlanta one has allowed me to check in early on several occasions and it’s in walking distance to some great food spots. This is now my go to rest stop when in Atlanta.

We stayed here for three nights in August. It's a nice hotel with very friendly staff in the center of Atlanta. We walked to all the sights nearby and to the Mercedes Benz Stadium for a concert. Room was large and quiet. Hotel had parking on site (valet and self parking) and there's an outdoor pool.

On the plus side the Aloft is beautifully decorated in modern style and the staff very friendly. The price point is responsible with a discount. There is a small outdoor salt water pool which is heated. There are a few negative's to this hotel. There is no spa or jacuzzi pool and the hotel lacks room service which is fine because there are restaurants nearby. The rooms have modern decor but lack some items of comfort like a comfortable chair. One very negative element to the room is the lack of bathroom privacy. The sliding door which separates the bedroom from the bathroom does not close completely. The toilets flush louder than most if the hotels I've stayed. The shower is large enough for two adults and has a dark tile but water spills on the floor and even onto the carpet in the shower of the barrier free room.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are comfortable and the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. I realize the hotel must be in a not so good area because we have to use our room key to enter the parking lot, enter the building and use the elevator. It's a bit much.

Make sure you stop by the bar for happy hour Genee is amazing! She is so funny, personable and kind and she has great recommendations for food. We had an all around great experience in Atlanta and the hotel because of the friendly people and good service. Thank you!

Super nice rooms! Tailored for millennial decor. Nice vibes in lobby and in lounge area. The outdoor patio area is super nice and clean. Pet friendly.

One of the best hotels we had our family reunion at ever. The staff was the definition of southern hospitality. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. And Morgan at the front desk was just wonderful. Next trip to Atlanta I WILL be staying again.

Very modern yet affordable hotel in the heart of Atlanta. Within walking distance of many great tourist spots including the Georgia Aquarium! We had an issue with our card while checking in and the front desk staff was more than accommodating during a stressful situation. We had a 2 queen bed room that offered a great view of the city. Apparently the bar is a pretty happening scene, we never got around to checking it out but it didn't disturb our stay either. Would definitely return and recommend. Was a great place for our family to stay.

Humongous bed, nice decor, modern accommodations, complimentary coffee ☕️. 24-hour gym. Retrochic lobby. Breakfast but not complimentary. Paid $3 for a standard size bagel! Bliss soap and hair shampoo. Must use key card for elevators.

Very clean rooms, well decorated. The front desk is accessible and friendly. Excellent food options and a full bar. Everything you need at a competitive price for downtown.

The staff was knowledge of the area and very friendly at all times. The hotel is walking distance from Peachtree and Pemberton center. I suggest using the Marta system to explore outside of downtown. Overall I enjoyed my stay here. They give you free water in the room, a safe and mini fridge. A microwave would've been great.

Great hotel. Great customer service. Bar lady and Valet guys were sweet. Expensive valet of $35. But overall it was a great hotel.

It is a decent hotel. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. However, there were several issues that really irked me. First, the Wi-Fi was horrible and constantly disconnected. Usually this is not an issue as I can use Data to get access to e-mail etc. But for some reason the signal was constantly fluctuating, going from no bars to about 3 bars and back again within a minute (I have At&T). However, the second I stepped outside off the hotel I had full signal. Second, the staff was very confused. I don't know what type of training they receive, but there were issues with both the check-in and check-out process. The main issues were caused by the fact that I was sharing a room with other people and we all arrived at different times of the day and wanted to pay separately at check-out. When we first asked about the separate check-out we were told this was not a problem. Then when we checked again, we were told this was not possible. After a bit of back and forth we found a workable solution. Third, a gender issue came up. I was sharing a room with three other females. There was only one mirror in a very cramped space, so getting ready in the AM had to be handled in shifts, which meant that some of us had to get up by 5 AM so we could all leave by 8 AM. A second mirror in a another location would have solved this. We were also only given 3 big towels and 3 wash cloths (no hand towels), although we were 4 people.

Given a room with 2 double beds & one mattress was clearly shorter than the platform (and shorter than the other mattress on the same length of platform). We figured this out when our shins were bleeding on the first day. Asked the front desk to do something about it — they apologized & said they'd send someone up to work on it and to provide coffee service, as housekeeping didn't refresh any of the missing items. We get back to the room hours later — nothing was done. We called down and asked for the coffee for the morning & someone dropped it off at the door. We started putting pillows between the head of the bed and the mattress so the mattress "fit" the platform and every day housekeeping would push the clearly too short mattress way back onto the platform. Several times housekeeping forgot to use all the appropriate sheets — so we'd end up with a sheet on the mattress but none between us and the duvet cover. The spa in the pool didn't work. Families with little kids/babies and people with barking dogs were piled in rooms next to singles and couples. Just no organization or consideration for the guests' in general. Check-out is clearly marked on my reservation as noon, but at 11:15 am on our check-out day, housekeeping was banging on the door even though we had the "do not disturb" on the door. They wanted to know if we were leaving yet. Who does that?

Rooms are modern and nice. Accommodations are good, in a great location for sightseeing in Downtown Atlanta. Short walk to the Aquarium, Olympic Park, and observation wheel. Easy drive to anything else you want to see. Hotel bar is a little pricey but the drinks are strong.

Large beds, good treatment and well located.

This is definitely one of those cement wall redone boutique hotels. Where they kind of slapped on some home improvements to make it look more modern but didn't go all the way with the renovations. It's cool it's modern, it looks kind of like a college dormitory with a ping pong table or whatever downstairs and colorful chairs. The staff are great, the front desk is a complete circle so it's a little bit weird.

Was here twice in a two day period. The first time came later in the night with a large group for cocktails and drinks. The bar area is large and has a lot of open space for a group. The area is spacious, trendy, and the cocktails were well done. The next day I returned to get ready for a wedding in a room. The room was of good size, not very large but we'll thought out to have everything you would need close by. Lots of mirrors everywhere in the room instead of art. It included a mini fridge, bar area and a safe in the coat closet. I would stay here upon visiting Atlanta Midtown.

Clean comfortable hotel room for a great price. Location is convenient to the MARTA and several other points of interest. My only complaint was waking up to make coffee and finding that the creamer provided said on the package "keep refrigerated" but had certainly not been refrigerated which I came to find upon pouring out a chunk of creamer into my coffee.

They advertise pet friendly, but they aren't too pet friendly. Our 12 lb dog could stay there but she couldn't be left in the room even in a crate for just a few minutes while we ate breakfast in the lobby. No leaving them alone at all. The breakfast that you would get free at most hotels was $12. Make your own waffle type thing. The beds were comfortable and the room was fairly up-to-date. Some dirt on the walls.

Overall our stay at the A Loft Atlanta downtown has been enjoyable. We were here for a volleyball tournament 2018 and enjoyed being able to be close to the convention center. Parking is a little bit pricey but not bad compared to having to do a commute on the public transit system.

This hotel provided us a great base from which to explore Atlanta. It was a quick walk to some of the city's most popular museums. The service was friendly and helpful, down to the valets who would chat with us while we waited for our Ubers to arrive. There were a couple of downsides, though. First of all, I couldn't reach the front desk from the room's telephone. I had to call from my cell. Also, this place doesn't have a way to rent a movie in your room. Lastly, the light switches in the room weren't intuitive and you were never sure which switches turned on which lights. But overall we were happy with our stay.

I was in Atlanta, GA for a work conference and got booked at this hotel. It was cool, modern, and sleek. The bed was comfortable, all the electronics worked, and they even had a hot breakfast bar in the main lobby. I had a decent view of the part of downtown I was in. The customer service was really nice, too. I got in late, so most area restaurants were closed, but the Hard Rock cafe was open, so I grabbed dinner there and they have an extensive menu. I'd go back to the Aloft for sure.

Lovely modern hotel. All facilities were well maintained. Had excellent customer service from front desk and bar staff. Gym allowed me to get a good workout each day. Bed was comfortable. Great location near the conference I was attending.

Nice enough hotel when I stayed on Jan 15 — 17 while in town for work. My employer booked the room so I was assured the credit card I submitted would only be for incidentals and parking. When I left the hotel statement reflected that. Fast forward to 1/25 and Aloft decided they should be paid twice and ran my card for the stay also. I noticed this on the same day and called the hotel. It was after hours and the front desk told me they wold leave a note for accounting to call me in the morning. No call by 2pm the next day (a Friday) so I called the accounting extension. I left a message directly with them. No call by 2pm on Monday the 29th so I called the accounting office yet again and got through to someone. They acknowledged the double billing and told me it would be refunded to my card in 3 — 5 business days. It is now Feb 7th and I had still not seen the refund so I called once again. This time I was told it was processed yesterday and I should see it in 2 — 5 business days. I asked to speak to a manager and was sent to voicemail. I am not holding my breathe that I will be seeing my money anytime soon.

Everything was fine. No problems with the room or the staff. There were only 2 things that stopped me from giving it 5 stars. It seemed like the whole place was geared towards trying to feel modern and hip. As a younger person though who likes a more modern feel, it just felt fake. Like this is the hotel version of that friend who tries WAY too hard to be cool. The other was the fact that the room was not exactly cheep and they wanted outrageous money for a cheep breakfast buffet that I would have gotten free anywhere else.

It is A Chain Of Hotels, Utilities… But they Suffer Based On My Past Experiences of the Lack of details in the Maintenance of the Rooms…

Seemed like a newly renovated hotel. Very clean rooms & friendly staff. Great location downtown, only about a mile from the new stadium. Got a little loud that night but it was new year's eve so I'm sure that was most of it. Nothing bad to say about this place. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Good location for downtown access. We walked to the new falcons stadium from here. Staff was nice. Clean room. Allowed us to check in early when we called ahead the morning of our stay. Was crowded but to be expected on New year's Eve. Parking is $30 per night self Park and $35 for valet.

My husband and I have a history with aloft hotels and I wanted to love this one too…
People were very friendly, but we booked on Expedia and then was almost double charged. Good thing my husband asked twice about the charges and then they were happy to check and get the charge taken off. The room was beautiful and clean, the doorman extremely helpful but I couldnt get the internet to work. The bed was horrible! My husband and I tossed and turn all night. Our room also came with a $30 breakfast voucher. I added up all of the items and it came to $26 but were then told the price was $37. Then instead of charging us the extra $7. The woman just took a few items off. Using $28 from our voucher (with no change back to us) and then charging us $9 for the remaining food? Location was easy to get to, valet was good, but sadly for what we got we overpaid. The bed was the worst and we wont be back because of it.

Pretty decent for the price. The location is great. Staff was friendly, competent and helpful. Parking is 30.00 a day extra, which isn't bad at all for a downtown spot. Was there when it was cold, but still went and saw some of the sites. It's a breeze to get on the freeway.

This is very cozy place situated in downtown. The rooms are modern and clean and original looking. Not very expensive in my opinion. They have a nice lounge and swimming pool. The staff are upbeat and friendly. They are also extremely helpful if you have any needs. It is also very secure cause you need your room card to operate the elevator. I would definitely come back again. May I add as well that their breakfast is excellent.

Absolutely disappointed in the hotel staff. I was there for 3 days and 2 nights and a $90 charge was out on my card for “incidentals”. I was then told that would be used to pay for parking. Then they had to reverse $30 because they charged too much. Paying for parking in a hotel you’re paying for is insane in my opinion, at least without some sort of discount compared to a commuter. The staff is AWFUL. Absolutely pathetic. The worst hotel staff I have ever come across in terms of accommodating and friendliness. I would NEVER stay here again. The room was decent at best. The dispensers that housed shampoo and body wash were dirty and barely dispensed product. There is hardly any lighting in the room itself. The bed was comfortable, but if I’m paying what I payed to stay here that should be expected. I asked to speak to the hotel manger, but the parking manager and guest services manager would not allow that. I hope management sees this and speaks with all involved. I had an amazing trip, but the hotel was NOT a part of it.

We enjoyed our stay here, a pretty standard aloft experience if you’ve ever been to one. The outdoor TV and seating looked great but it was too cold to make use of. There are a couple street lamps in the self park area that are out, other than that I have no complaints. We would stay here again, close to all the attractions and an affordable rate! :)

Very disappointed. Front reception staff are very inexperienced. They over charged me twice. A $75 (deposit) charge for my prepaid room became a permanent charge. Still fighting the charge with my credit card bank. Many phone calls to try to reach the manager on many different days and no one even answers the phone. Emails went unanswered. Hotel was very noisy in the rooms. Will not stay in an Aloft hotel anyway again. I'm a frequent business traveler, they lost my business.

Good location for walkable attractions. Interesting, hip interior and style. Felt a bit neglected by busy desk staff when I first arrived. Lobby needs some stronger a/c. The room was comfy, but needs some brighter lighting and some more towel bars. All together a decent value.

Everything here was great! From the staff at check in to the breakfast! Pleasant people, very knowledgeable and personable! I don't understand all the bad reviews here! Our room was clean, the view was beautiful, and it was all around just a lovely stay! I will recommend to friends and only stay here from now on!

We stayed here on a girl's trip, slept all the same room. The rooms wasn't what we expected. Security was not doing a great job, a man had followed us to our room. Food and bar looked great. But when check out time came, My friend debit card got charged twice for some odd reason at the front desk… Great location though.

Definitely aimed at the sub-40 age group, but likely to please if that applies. Modern, colorful, convenient to the highways and Centennial Park (without being loud from them). All hotels in the area will be expensive. Plenty of parking, for $25/night. Nice gym in the basement.

This hotel is better than the reviews I read. I booked here for a work trip, since the other hotels were full. I was a little worried because of the horrible reviews about it not being clean. Either the other reviews are bs or they cleaned up. I didn't see any problems. The room is very clean. The towels and sheets are perfect. There are some minor issues. There is a desk in the room, but no light anywhere near the desk. It's pitch dark on that side of the room. Also, the breakfast and coffee area is pretty bad. No free anything for breakfast other than basic coffee. The coffee is terrible. The way they have it laid out, only one person can be trying to get and fill a coffee cup at a time. It's a very small limited area. So, it can potentially take several minutes of waiting just to get basic coffee (it's a big hotel). The breakfasts are all very expensive and again, only one person can order at a time. This hotel is in downtown and marketed towards working people. We can't spend 15 minutes getting coffee and another 15 just to get egg sandwich. $6 for a stale sad looking plain bagel is just not right. Another thing is that this hotel continues the trend of charging $4 for tiny bottles of water. I know it's becoming more common for hotels to do this, but some still don't. So it's worth mentioning. I wouldn't refuse to stay here again. It's fine. But they should really improve these minor things. They obviously spent lots of money building this nice looking building.

So… Ignoring the fact that it is almost impossible to find a cart to move your bags into the room, the room itself lacked a lot of basics. For instance, a fully closing bathroom door. Or space to store things. Location was fantastic but the rooms left a lot to be desired.

Our stay was good. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice. But there were a few things that were a little off. The toilet in our room was wobbly. The top to the shampoo dispenser in the room had a missing top, which seemed like any other guest couple have put something in there. I don't think anyone did, but it's susceptible. The same switch to turn on the bathroom light also turns on a bright light in the room — so if you get up to go to the bathroom at night, you either do so in complete darkness or turn on the light and wake up your significant other and child. Very odd. It's a perfectly fine hotel close to all the downtown Atlanta attractions, but I guess I am used to a certain standard with any Starwood hotel, and this one didn't quite live up.

The room was very comfortable, and the staff was great. The only negatives to note is that the Wi-Fi was painfully slow, and that there was no conditioner in the shower (all in one shampoo+conditioner? Not in this hair). Didn't take advantage of any of the amenities as I was just there to sleep and leave, but I would be happy to stay again.

Downtown location, if you like flying on Virgin America, you'd like starting at Aloft Hotel. Lots of fun design throughout the hotel from the touch sensitive elevator floor panels to the pops of color inside the room. I'm curious to explore another Aloft location to see how it compares to Atlanta.

Not enough great words to describe how great this place is. Hip, trendy (in a non-stuffy way) friendly, hospitable, welcoming and an AMAZING staff who go out of their way for everyone. It seems as though everyone is cross-strained to do each others jobs which I love. Stay here, play here and enjoy the bar and the inviting staff.

The Aloft was a good place to stay. They have the best rates of most hotels in the city and a nice gym. There are great surrounding spots too (Hawks stadium, Georgia aquarium, etc. ).

I like this place! It is clean and has all basic amenities. Walking distance form all the tourist spots. Has a lot of good restaurants nearby.

Great hotel right in the middle of it all. Parking is readily available, and valet services are optional. Valet is a little pricey, but still a great option. I was able to reach everything important in about 15 minutes.

The room is nice. The location is great to get everything downtown.
The breakfast is just a sandwich, not a buffet like most hotels.

The room was clean and nice, very cool shower that had a curtain and no proper doors or tub. The bed as soft and comfortable. Parking was very expensive and they also charged for breakfast.

This was my first time staying at Aloft and the second time for my boyfriend. The hotel is very hip and trendy and we would definitely stay there again. My only complaint would be that the bed is a little more on the softer side than what we like and the light over the bathroom sink stopped working during our stay.

Great place to stay in downtown Atlanta, staff is very friendly and it's walking distance to the Georgia Aquarium, Coca-Cola World, CNN and other places. The rooms are spacious and well organized, has a pool table in the lobby and a decent swimming pool. Will stay again in the future.

Super dog friendly! Great staff! Keep it up aloft don't change… third time staying in an aloft with dogs and couldn't be happier. Always make it a priority to stay there when we have the dogs!

Helpful and friendly staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Convenient location. Nice and clean rooms. The only downside is the parking fee which is a bit high ($25 for self-parking).

Located in the developing section of Atlanta but most activities and dining are a short walk away including MARTA. Hotel staff are helpful and pleasant. Rooms are cozy and well laid out.

First and foremost you have to pay $25 dollars in addition to the room you already booked. After parking, you have to go around to the front of the building to get inside if there is no one at the back door. The front end staff was helpful, but it took them a long while to acknowledge they had more than one guest trying to check in. The room was nice. The complementary breakfast isn't free and the prices for food didn't match the taste. This experience has been awful and I will not stay at another Aloft.

Only been here 5 minutes and don't like it. They put us in a double room and I know I payed for a King. They never called or said anything about not having a king. Called front desk and she told me I could check out if I did not like my room. As soon as I asked for a manager, she magically found a king. Then she had security waiting when I came for a new key. For what?!? That is not how to treat customers.

If you want a night club experience then stay here. They have the bar right beneath the third floor and have loud music playing until midnight so I didn't get any sleep. The check in area is dirty and I was told there is a complementary breakfast but that isn't the case. The beds feel like a mattress on top of a piece of plywood. I would recommend staying at any other hotel if you'd like to get a good nights sleep. I will never stay there again!

We come to the Atlanta mart to shop for our store every January & July and stay 5 days. This is our first time at ALoft and we will NEVER stay here again! Checkin staff wouldn't acknowledge us, bar staff wouldn't acknowledge us and when I finally found someone in the hotel who cared to help us get a drink they couldn't find any wine glasses. When we asked for management, she couldn't look us in the eye or offer any excuse (1/9/17). Biggest train wreck we've ever experienced. Great live music in the bar and room was clean. Only good thing I can say. Whoever runs this place needs to be fired and a total staff overhaul needs to be done. As a business owner, I am horrified at the price I paid for the worst service I've ever experienced.

Two friends of mine booked a room overnight (for Wednesday and Thursday) for a mini bachelorette getaway, as I'm getting married at the end of the month. I was hoping to have the time of my life in the heart of Atlanta and the second we walked through the door, I knew we were doomed. Two staff members at the front desk were assisting someone else and not once were we acknowledged (no "we'll be with you in a minute" or "hey, give us a minute and we'll assist you"). My friend that booked the room, booked it for $139. The morning we checked in, she noticed a $22 charge, which was explained that it was for taxes. Fine. As we went to check out, we were told that we owed $44 (to include 22 in taxes and 22 for parking). First of all, we opted out of valet parking in hopes we wouldn't be charged for parking at a hotel WE paid for; however, fine, we'll pay the 22 for parking… but we've already been charged for the taxes, so why are we being charged again? My friend quickly (and rightfully so) lost her temper, so I attempted to step in and calmly explain where the frustration arose from. During my attempt, the woman at the front desk helping us walked away. If we didn't feel frustrated enough, we had it by this point.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Requested an early check in and they were able to accommodate the request with little notice. Room was clean and tidy. Rooms are up to date and feel more expensive and luxurious than the price would lead you to believe. Great location with a short walk to the local attractions.

The staff was SUPER friendly and very helpful! The entire hotel & room were extremely clean! Breakfast food was awesome! We had a wonderful stay! Again I want to thank the staff for their friendliness and help on our questions about attractions in downtown ATL!

The location is great, within walking distance to the aquarium, world of Coke, etc. The hotel has a really trendy look. The staff is friendly. There are some design elements within the room that could have been improved, but overall a nice place to stay for a decent price.

The location was very good for the conference: twenty five minutes' walk for someone without any disabilities, and likely another team minutes for anyone with assistive needs. The room was clean and the amenities at a good level for those not wishing to pay for anything they don't use. My two quibbles with the stay would be the slightly soggy mattress and the Wi-Fi that would sometimes drop the Internet connection; not an issue for streaming movies or music, but with games that require continuous access it became a problem.

I enjoyed my stay here. I felt like I didn't have to rely hi it for anything. The WXYZ loungevon the lobby level was lively and the bartender was friendly and knew how to make a drink. There is a pool table in the lobby as well that was a welcomed surprise. The room reminded me of a studio with modern finishes. I would recommend this place to friends when they visit.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They were courteous and accommodating. Even the security guy was friendly, which was nice. I really liked the parking lot because it's the easiest to park in downtown. The hotel itself has a nice modern design which is unique and interesting to set it apart from other places. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint is that the rooms are very small. If you are ok with a cozy bed to just sleep in, then it's probably fine. However if you plan on spending a bit of time in your room, you my find yourself growing more and more claustrophobic. I personally wouldn't stay here again because of this reason, but if you don't mind small spaces, you will probably have an enjoyable stay.

Room was clean and comfortable, but some odd design decisions were made. The light switches were inconveniently placed, and the bathroom was cramped and lacking hooks.

Aloft sits in a nice easy to access place in Atlanta with plenty of night life activities moments away. The room was very welcoming. Glass shower and sliding door! Amazing! The staff was very friendly as well, they didn't act as if they didn't want to be working. Great experience. Definitely will be returning. Oh yea even the maids said thank you for staying!

Great location just a block away from centennial park great if you plan on doing a city pass. The view was very nice. Was also able to get a good deal. Would stay again.

Really modern & sleek design throughout. I was amazed on how contemporary & unique every detail in the rooms were. Overnight parking is 20$ which you'll need b/c there aren't many other options. I believe that if you pay for a room the parking should be included not an additional expense.

Near AmericasMart conveniently located around everything in downtown Atlanta. The hotel was beautiful very modern and very sleek. I would definitely stay there again.

Interesting modern design and free bottle water in the rooms made this special. Small rooms are good for couples but too small if you have children. A great location to walk to the park but any further and you need an uber.

It looked nice and lowkey, interesting how they make these lofts, but boujee.

Nice staff. Parking is ridiculous but not a lot of options. I mean you pay to stay somewhere you should be able to park there as well without charge.

I would not recommend this hotel! At check in and check out I was told my room was 85 dollars. I was charged 20 extra dollars for parking even though I paid for parking with cash when I departed. The manager did not want to refund me back my money for charging me twice for parking. I recommend guest to go else where!

The girls at the desk Jocelyn, Ayana and Amber were very hospitable and friendly. Arrived at 7 in the morning and was able to check in immediately. Awesome beds and clean room. Reccomend to anyone.

Banyan Group owns the Aloft Atlanta downtown. This hotel regularly over charges and double charges customers. There hotel manager Kirk Wright when confronted with proof calls customers liars and refuses to refund your money and even has the unmitigated gall to accuse customers of fraudulently faking your reservation emails. We have tried for over a month to get resolution through the hotel, Starwood, and Banyan to know resolution. When you contact Banyan you get a voice mail and repeated phone calls are never returned. Horrrible business with bad business practices.

Expensive! $20 a day just to park! We had to straighten out our bill for items charged that we did not purchase. The hotel is not well marked — hard to find. We won't be staying at Aloft again. Beware!

The Aloft Atlanta is by far the worst hotel in Atlanta. The hotel over charged my friends while there for dragoncon this year. The hotel manage Kirk Wright called them liars when he was informed of the overcharge. He accused them of forging their reservation confirmation. Tried to extort money and even so far as to charge credit cards for rooms they were not presented for. This hotel is a complete scam. Stay away.

Excellent place for con goers, Spent a weekend there. There was some drama involved with my booking from a separate company, but they handled it in stride. The place was clean, the rooms, classy, and the price reasonable. For dragconcon goers its only a block down from the host hotels and not far from MARTA locations. The elevators have a "dance floor" scheme to them, leading to many elevator dance parties happening on our way up and down to the con. The staff were extremely friendly, and helped in any way they could… made me feel right at home. (dcon goers) I was unable to bring back some things I had brought up with me due to space issues, and had a blanket to give a home to, this hotel has a program that donates items like blankets and such to charities. I had never heard of that before with a hotel, and was absolutely impressed. Kudos!

The hotel hospitality was great. The customer service was outstanding. The room and decor was calming and relaxing. This was a spontaneous overnight stay from a busy day and they made me feel like a celebrity. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Booked a king got a double. Called desk they said they were out. Went downstairs talked to someone else and got a king room. Room then smelt like bleach. Told the manager were going to dinner well wait 2 hours see how it smells when we get back. She said OK let us know. came back still smelt like bleach. Called the front desk told her and she gave me attitude. She told me that someone went in the room and sprayed Ozone in it to try to make it smell better. So they went in my room when I had the do not enter room sign on my door. Then she was like if you don't like it go to a different hotel and so that's what I did. Most disrespectful people. Avoid this place they dont care and treat you like crap and go in your room even if the sign is on the door.

Dirty. The glass wasn't cleaned well and since the flooring has no grout, dirt collects between the "tiles" making it look dirty. Our free water bottle had been opened already. Needs paint, run down. Our friend's room had urine in the toilet and an imprint of a body on the bed as if someone had taken a nap there. Our room never got cleaned one day. They refused to let us check in before 3 even though I'm sure there were rooms available (I sat in the lobby for hours waiting and didn't see anyone check out). We love the Aloft in Charlotte, so this one was a big disappointment. I give it 2 stars for comfy bed, nice shower and location, but certainly wouldn't recommend staying here.

I was on vacation in Atlanta, GA for Dragon-con this year and decided to stay at Aloft since they were having a grand opening special for that weekend. Also, it was right near the Hyatt Regency (Host Hotel) where I had stayed my first two nights in Atlanta. I was staying in the standard two queen bed room on the fourth floor. This hotel is perfectly placed in the downtown area, in that it was close to everything without having the high traffic of other con goers and cars like the Hyatt and the Marriott do during this convention. Walking into the hotel, I noticed the lobby is rather small. There is a three person front desk, which is somewhat small. There is a pool table, a small bar area, and a lounge area to chill out and take a break from a long day. Outlets are in convenient spaces throughout the lobby regardless of where you are so you can easily charge your phone or other electrical devices with no problem. The front desk staff during my stay (Thurs — Mon) was very helpful though at time understaffed with hotel booked to capacity. The hotel could use another work station at the front desk. The room was very clean and comfortable. Walking into my room reminded me of college. The hotel and the rooms have a dorm like feel, but in a good way. The best way I can describe the hotel is to say it is a super luxury spacious dorm. The room itself have a very modern look to it with it's contemporary headboards and furniture.

Stayed there over DragonCon weekend and it was incredible. I've never known was service and hospitality was until staying at this hotel. The staff was awesome, welcoming us back everytime we came in, wishing us well every time we left. Lots of 'for pay' food and drinks that were simply given away to people who needed it. Awesome funky amenities (think dance-room elevators) and plenty of pillows.

We had an issue with payment and they helped us through the whole experience. They greeted and learned our names and tried to talk with us every evening. The room was very nice and modern; although, a room full of ladies could do with some more light and mirrors.

This hotel has been remodeled and beautiful and well aware of working out their kinks! They were so helpful and accommodating and the staff was amazing. The room was spacious, clean and the shower was great! We did have a belt on the air conditioning that acted up and they quickly allowed us to move and were so apologetic. Great experience and we will definitely be staying there again when we are in the area.

This hotel recently opened so expect that they are working on their deficiencies. Excellent staff and management. I stayed there April 11-15, 2014 and loved everything. Debbie, Kimani, and Amanda were extremely helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. The re-fuel (gym) is stocked with all new equipment. The rooms are big and I love the shower. A++++ would definitely stay there again.

The attention of the reception is not good, the receptionist only speaks English, is heedless. In general the building is note deteriorated, but I think they are in the process of remodeling. The rooms although spacious are neglected. The breakfast is good.
