Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly.

Water breakfast food sweets.

The lady at the front desk (Kaisha) is very short with customers. She’s like a robot on repeat. She spoke so quickly I could barely keep up with her. I had to ask her over and over to repeat herself. She doesn’t seem like she really likes her job. She’d be my very last choice to represent the Marriott brand. I pulled a plate out of the cabinet and it was filthy! Idk who does the housekeeping, but there needs to be some form of quality checks to ensure these folks are doing what they’re getting paid to do. If you’re a Platinum Elite member, don’t stay here. Although the room was nice looking, I wouldn’t stay here again. Dirty dishes and bad customer service is a NO-GO!

Nice rooms and good light in the upstairs bedroom.

Rochelle was extremely accommodating. The room she put us in was fantastic, 2 floors, 2 bathrooms, 3 TV’s — wow. My only complaint would be the faint smell of smoke in the morning. Shared ventilation?

Hairs/pubic hair all over sheets and crumbs upon check-in after examining the sheets. They do not change sheets in-between guests. Don’t trust the pictures online. Front desk says Jose Salazar is the GM. They claim they are run by Marriott staff. Maybe a better manager should be hired.

Very spacious rooms with all of the perfect amenities to make you feel like you're in your home away from home! Lots of privacy and close to everything you would want to get to while in the city.

I had a wonderful stay. Set up like little apartments, with a kitchen, living room, etc. Best part was the beds. They were extremely comfortable.

We checked in and out in the same hour. The floors hadn't been vacuumed. The kitchen felt grimy. Knives were kept in a bottom drawer where the baby got a hold of it. Thankfully I was right there beside her so she didn't get hurt. There were bugs in the kitchen. There was food under the couch. Blood on the walls in the bathroom. There was soap/shampoo caked on the dispenser. There wasn't a hair dryer. Nor was there an iron. The bed had a too small protector so only some of the bed was covered. The sheets were moldy/mildewed. The pillows had blood stains. Needless to say we didn't even unpack.

I thought this Residence Inn was well located — I do not know Atlanta very well — but we found it easy to get around town from here. As with most Residence Inns, there's a parking lot and it is free, which I heavily consider now that parking at some hotels is $30+ per night. The evening desk man that welcomed us was wonderful — I wish I could remember his name to shout out, but his kindness meant a lot. Our room, a king studio, was spacious but had two drawbacks: it was dark and it had a musty, faint, old cigarette smell to it. Another drawback, though hopefully temporary: they had a giant dumpster taking up multiple parking spots. If the night desk had not been so great, I would have given the hotel a 2… goes to show how far a little friendliness goes!

Well appointed rooms. Breakfast could be improved. Eggs taste like their made for powdered eggs.

They need to get more parking and I’m still waiting on a return phone call that was over a week ago… called three separate times on separate days and left my name and number both with a live person and voicemail but still not a return phone call. I’m trying to reach them because I left extra blankets of my own in the room and wanted to pay shipping to get them back. I guess I’ll kiss those goodbye. Communication is lacking. ALSO THE PULL OUT COUCH BED IS A JOKE IT IS SOOOO SMALL! My ten year old son couldn’t fit on that thing. We ended up just moving the couch to the side and letting the boys pile up on the FLOOR WITH MY OWN BLANKETS! As far as that small couch bed is concerned it’s a joke and furthermore false advertising! Won’t be returning!

The rooms are very nice. Homelike feeling. Nice appliances and full refrigerator and stove with dishes and pots and pans and silverware. TV area with sofa.

Great location with nicer amenities, I wish I could have have stayed in one of the updated rooms so I could have a true comparison from the last time to this one but oh well… The staff as always were super great!

They are renovating right now. The new rooms look great with tea tree supplies in bathroom. Clean and well maintained. Best is their customer service, always very helpful and mindful to tenants needs. They have a free shuttle that can drop you off and pick up anywhere within 3 miles on demand. Good breakfast. Social events on Mondays and Tuesdays with snacks and drinks (wine, sodas, beers). Great place to stay when in Atlanta. I am definitely going to return.

If I could give them zero stars I would. This was the absolute most horrendous Residence Inn I have visited. The setting was odd and lacked sheen. It reminded me of a motel. The worst part was the lack of customer svc I received from the assistant manager. After receiving a confirmation that my room was ready, I arrived to be told they were over booked and I was being placed in another hotel. What they failed to tell me is that I would have to pay $25/dy for parking. When I asked her why did no one call me when they realized they were over booked her reply was "we didnt get around to it" super unprofessional and lacking consideration for her guests. After expressing my disappointment to the assistant manager for the inconvenience and the fact that I now had to come out of pocket for parking, her reply was shocking; there was pretty much nothing she was willing to do for me in terms of the parking fees. My absolute worst experience as a dedicated Marriott member. I urge you all to never stay at this hotel!

I love this place. They have outdoor grills, stoves with a full oven, and convection ovens, they have fireplaces and safety bars on the sliding glass doors. It's the best!

This hotel is beautiful and amazingly gorgeous. All of the people who work there are so sweet and helpful. Management is amazing and very polite. Diva forever.

Nice room & hotel, close to downtown. Breakfast was good lot of options and very helpful staff, well maintained area. All the rooms have well maintained kitchen & handy tools. Room maintenance needs an improvement, most electrical outlets within the room weren't working. Most of the furniture were old & needs an update.

Its been awhile since I’ve been back to atl but it’s was beyond well worth my experience, The hotel I stayed in was everything extremely clean & organized, the bed I slept was more comfortable then my own at home I really recommend staying here again whenever I come back it was down and around street from everything possible I want thank you the manager for her great Hospitality.

The room was nice. I stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 floor suite. My only problems we're that the fan did not work, it was 15 degrees warmer on the upper floor than the lower one, and one of the bathrooms only had warm water while the other only had cold water. Otherwise the room was wonderful.

Beautiful room/suite! Very clean and setup smartly. Great parking and secure lots. While I stayed at Piedmont Hospital, my wife loved this room. I did get to stay two nights and slept beautifully. They have a discount for hospital patient family!

Pretty expensive for renovated old apartments. It’s a high charge because of the location. The stay was comfortable, linens and toiletries were provided and clean. We requested a late check out and early check in that was honored with no hesitation. They provide full breakfast and have a social hour. Customer service is very good. However, there was a roach in the bathroom. Where’s there is one, there is more and you could hear everything going on from the rooms next door. The two bedroom suite is really a 1 bedroom with an additional loft room above the living room. Not much privacy for couples with an additional guest having to use one of the rooms bathrooms is the only option for an additional guest. Lobby restroom for the women was not clean and had a really bad odor. Not what I was expecting for a 4 star rated hotel. This place is VERY OLD with new upgrades and amenities.

Rather than a typical hotel, this is set up a little more like 4-plexes with several small buildings, which made it feel a little less secure than a traditional single hotel building. Overall this is a fine place to stay. Nothing special, but nothing terrible. The breakfast buffet is isn't great quality, but has all the staples (eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, croissant, etc). The exercise room is pretty tiny with 1 exercise bike, 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, a full dumbbell set, and a little yoga equipment. Didn't use the pool or small basketball sports court. Most exciting thing to happen was we were privy one morning to a screaming match between some of the housekeeping employees right outside our building, which was pretty hilarious.

If you get the rooms with the loft… it's cool. Has a fireplace also. Staff is friendly of course. Location is… ehh depending on which direction you're headed good or bad. Social hour is Mon — Weds with free wine, beer and "food". Definitely recommend this hotel for long stays.

Outstanding customer service. I stayed there for 4 days with my family and my expectations were exceeded consistently. I would like to give my biggest amount of praise to Vincent. He was kind, professional, and gave us that personal touch that is missing in today's business transactions. He was able to fix a room and billing issue the arouse shortly after checking in. He was also around throughout our stay to make sure things were still in order. Later, when I needed to extend my stay, other members of the staff made it easy to continue my stay at the same rate. The hotel was conducting a slight improvement to the parking lot and that made maneuvering around slightly challenging, but it was nothing major. And if that's the worst thing I can say, then you know it was top notch in every other way in my book. So if you are looking for a clean comfortable, nice place to rest your head while in the Atlanta area, I would highly recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott in Buckhead. The staff is friendly and the rates are more than reasonable. I know it's where me and my family will be staying from now on when we visit.

They need to do more better with cleaning up my bathroom was not clean but everything else was OK until my friend lock her self out her room I had three room in my name no one told me to put the other guess name on each room so when she went to the from desk to get a key they call me an told me I had to come an get the key I told them her name but they still wanted me to come but I was at the water park so you think I was going to leave so they went on an gave her a key because I told them I have three room an you no I can't sleep in all of them at the same time but over all it was a very nice place to stay room are gorgeous with the upstairs and downstairs bedroom.

These folks suddenly had to deal with thousands of stranded passengers in Atlanta who had no luggage with them. They were pros! Accommodated us in professional style, quickly, and affordably. Highly recommend them.

We stayed for 5 nights ending 7/5/16. Can't say enough positive things about the staff. Super friendly and polite. The rest of the story is downhill. The first room we had smelled of urine (it is a pet friendly Inn). We quickly were given another room. No pet odor although the room smelled musty the entire time we were there. The room was not clean as there was dirty linen hanging in the bathroom. The carpet was filthy! There was grease in the kitchen from a prior guest. Room not serviced until late in the day. We cleaned it oursleves. Management did apologize, but that was it. Forget the breakfast. Bland eggs (? powdered) and sausage, etc. Amazingly, this Inn could not make a decent pot of coffee. Again, management apologized but did nothing else. They are starting to replace the awfully lumpy mattresses. I've stayed at Residence Inn's for years, but will NOT return to this one.

Comfortable accommodations. Exterior and grounds look a little rough, but interior is is well furnished and updated. Inadequate parking.

The rooms were very clean with the notable exception of the pullout mattress, but we recieved nothing but friendly and excellent service. The breakfast was great, and the manager did a great job of personally making sure that we got the (delicious! ) chocolate muffins we wanted even though there was a large school trip eating breakfast at the same time. I thought the arrangement of rooms in smaller cottage-like buildings was really cool and unique, especially since my stay took place in clear weather so walking outside to get to the lobby was no problem. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay despite the dirty pullout.

This hotel appears good and even has good rooms that were clean. However, the entire compound is poorly ran. The shuttle driver came almost 15 mins late. The hotel. Is just so nice just so poorly ran, it's sad.

Great room, fantastic breakfast, EXTREMELY noisy neighbors who woke us up by fighting loudly for half an hour at 3 am.

I love the upgraded room with the two stories! If you are a platinum member, request this room because it's amazing. It's a quiet place, comfortable bed, great kitchenette! The breakfast is standard and had a great variation. This is our go to place when we go to Atlanta.

Excellent staff, large spacious rooms: especially the 2 bedroom suites. Infrastructure is a bit dated so don't expect 5-star amenities. Ask for a room away from Piedmont road: NOT building one. Traffic noise of annoying.

Great place, and the BEST staff! Well, when we were there, but I'm sure that it carries over, kind of like Chik-fil-A, always good staff. All of my interactions with Residence Inn have been great, and this stay was due to a required (by work) move from Chattanooga to Atlanta, and as usual, RI staff made the arrangements available (for yet another of their ever wanting clients) with a sincere smile. I really owe and thank you. So many times, you have made my stays so much more than acceptable.

I've stayed in hundreds of Marriott hotels over the last 11 years. So I know the brand's standards well. This location didn't meet that. From issues with one room having ants. Another room being occupied already and the third room not being cleaned as I found used wash cloths begins the bathroom door. While the young man who checked me in was trying, it was above him. I wouldn't stay here purposefully ever again. I checked out days early.

I love how the rooms are set up like little cottages almost. Much nicer rooms than either residence inn in atl. The free breakfast here is way nicer too!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed to be close to piedmont hospital is why I chose this location. The room with a kitchen was very nice.

NEVER STAY HERE! This hotel is not Marriott worthy and should be closed down. I'm a lifetime platinum rewards member with Marriott and have spent nearly 2000 nights at Marriott properties. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Here's why: Dirty Rooms: hair behind the bathroom doors Wireless ceiling fan controllers are able to be controlled by other guest rooms. Let's say that fighting over the lights was not fun. broken recliner in the room would not stay upright microwave not functional stale food at the breakfast bar cigarette butts all over the stairs and landing holes in the wall heater was not working properly and the room smelled of natural gas no screens on the windows subfloor was buckled and made loud noises when walked on which prompted noise complaints from the downstairs room below. holes in the interior door with bad repair job. Looks like somebody punched a hole in the door. sheets smelled of heavy perfume when we checked in This property should have it's Marriott badge removed as its not even close to the quality one would expect from a Marriott. On a positive note the staff was outstanding! Marriott should be ashamed of itself for not giving the staff a Marriott worthy property from which to serve guests.

P. S. Those who need fast Internet, this place is not for you: access in rooms only through a wire, the velocity is low and often disappears entirely.
