Everything was great. I just wish it had a fridge and microwave.

The view to the room was amazing! the staff was super friendly and helpful! The room was very clean. I would definitely recommend. The 4th floor pool and outdoor area was amazing.

We checked in Saturday and the hotel was full and was placed in a room that fall way below the standards of a Crowne Plaza or even a motel 6. Issues: Door to the room was difficult to open. I had to throw my shoulder into it to open it at arrival. Bathroom door missing closing mechanism. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom Cigarette burns in the carpet (my sock caught it and ruined my sock) Torn curtains with spots of blood Questionable clean sheets. Drawer handle broken. Smell of cigarettes in the room and cigarette butts on the balcony.

I Really Njoyed my stay… The staff r really nice n professional. The Staff was Great all around… The bartender was Awesome…

I'm a travel registered nurse and booked this room on Dayuse to sleep for a few hours before returning to work. They put me in a room where the heat wasn't functioning properly. I tried calling the front desk 4 times and didn't receive and answer (mind you, when I checked in there were 3 reps working the reception desk. ) I was able to find a sweet housekeeper supervisor and she was able to get in touch with Maintenance. Mr. Nick fixed the issue in a timely manner. Oh, and the hot water in the shower was non-existent. Needless to say, I cancelled my reservation and will not be staying here again.

Good hotel. Easy access and parking.

The sheets were dirty shower was broken. Tub stop up trying to take a bath. Only put one towel in the room. Don't do late check outs. The elevator took 10 min. Never again and parking was out of pocket. Bad $176 for parking at the hotel even though we had a room for 5 days. Horrible hotel.

Nasty roach infested, mold in vents, elevator down button missing, housekeeping throwing wet & dirty items on floors outside of rooms leaving them on floor it’s just disgusting 🤮 glass doors to pool scattered. Don’t waste your time or money on this.

The bed was really comfortable, no view from the balcony it was closed. The room was clean. Things could be better but because of Covid things were shut down.

We are here for 2 months due to my daughter being treated at Emory. The entire hotel staff have gone above and beyond for us during this very trying time.

Nice clean rooms and friendly, helpful employees. We’ve stayed here twice and no complaints.

They have taken great care of my sister who is there for an extended stay while receiving treatment at Emory. She is happy with the location and all the conveniences needed for a longer stay.

Mold in the carpet. Wet floors from a huge leak. Smelled like mildew. And didn’t even offer me a partial refund.

For the price we spent on rooms this weekend I was so unimpressed with the hotel. The elevators and floor we stayed on smelled like weed and the rooms were not the cleanest. Two of my friends complained about thr amount of mold in their room. One was relocated to another room. I've stayed in hotels for much cheaper and were emaculate compared to the room we had. I dont think I will ever stay there again. Sorry Crowne Plaza Midtown but you failed me big time!

My wife and I got the munchies around 1:30 am so we went down to the snackbar next to the front desk. The overnight clerk was Facetiming as we were shopping. ALL of the sour cream and onion potato chips were expired! Some dating back to last year! And they have the nerve to charge you $4 for the little old expired bag of chips! I took them all down off the shelf and put them on the counter.
What's worse is, the noncaring attendent put the bags back up on the shelf after we left. But instead of express checking out, I checked out at the front desk just so I could check to see if the expired bags had been discarded. And they weren't.
I reported it to the day shift.

$18 valet parking and self parking was ridiculous. Food was delicious. Staff super friendly and engaging. Music was on point kept us on our feet.

Surprisingly turned out to be the worst hotel I've stayed in. I've stayed in cheap, $30-40/night hotels that at were better and it's so hard because the staff of this hotel were great. The problem comes down to its awful location and structure. The rooms used to have balconies, which are no longer available to the guests, so the sliding glass doors are drilled shut. They're not well insulated though, and the sound from the outside is horrible. I spoke with other guests that made similar remarks. Right outside is an emergency room and down the street a bit is a police station. So plenty of noise from sirens, but that's not the worst of it. There is a also a highway ramp besides the building, so you have the sounds of cars constantly speed up. Again, not the worst, the absolute worst is what I believe is illegal street racing of motorcycles, or something similar to that. I stayed for five nights, from 11pm to 2pm there is near constant motorcycle noises zipping around. The hotel is aware of this issue and offers complimentary earplugs, but I cannot sleep with those. On top of the noise, the beds and pillows we're awful. Besides the noise and beds though, the rooms were nice, good services, and a friendly staff.

We managed to get the microwave and fridge, which was great. However, the ac wasn't working that great. It was set to 60 degrees and never felt cooler than 70. Also, a vent or fan would have been good for the bathroom.

The room is spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom is a bit on the small side. The room didn't come with a microwave or fridge, but when we asked the staff provided both at no charge, on a "first come, first served" basis. Its location is excellent, as is the price.

I attended an event hosted at this location over the weekend. The event was wonderful as it had nothing to do with the hotel. My one star review is due to the lack of professionalism, organization, consistency and customer service displayed by the hotel associates. It is unacceptable, that you pay your balance in full to host an event and you do not receive the service set forth in your contract, your guests are locked out of their hotel rooms and charged double the amount for valet parking than agreed. What hotel locks up wash cloths? We contacted the front desk and requested towels and wash cloths… an hour later towels were delivered, no wash cloths. We asked the attendant for them and were told, “they are locked up”. The next morning we asked the housekeeper… sigh… she stated she didn’t have any! Someone opened the hotel door, not a member of our party, and I didn’t see the person to get an identity, but it was very unnerving. Lack of concern displayed by the front desk was another example of why I WILL NEVER stay at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Midtown! Later that evening we were locked out of the room, with our personal belongings still in the room! We were told that someone else was assigned to that room! If anyone from management reads this review, please provide training to your ENTIRE TEAM. There is no camaraderie amongst the associates, they are too quick to shift blame instead of securing the camp and ensuring that all guests are happy. The Valet company is a joke.

Our team had training in Atlanta, so thirteen of us stayed here. We all had complaints. Mine consists of the room itself not the staff. Everyone was really nice accept the woman bartender. The room is very mildewed, it shows on the walls and the smell is strong. The tub took forever to drain and next mornings shower was an accident waiting to happen from the previous days soap scum not rinsing out. You couldn’t rinse the tub because it wouldn’t drain. Make sure and ask for a fridge and microwave, the room doesn’t come standard with them. I always unpack my business attire and hang them or put them in the drawers. But every time I opened the drawers they stunk really bad, I guess it was the mildew. The room service was quick, the man was nice and the food was good. Overall I would not stay here again.

Awful stay!
Advertising as a dog friendly hotel but there is no grassy area on the property to walk your dog.
Found a nice area in the back but was soon yelled at by a security officer. Saying no dogs allowed. He pointed to a very small and faded sign.
The next area was on the side of the hotel that is used as a homeless camp at night. Not a safe area at all.
Front desk staff response was just to walk around downtown until you find a spot:/
Parking is outrageous and basically, they force you to valet because self-parking is a hassle.
Very very disappointed overall. Will never ever stay there again.

The quality of the hotel was very very very poor. My sister visited the hotel and received less I mean less than great service. I am a platinum member and stay with IHG resorts frequently. I went to see my sister whom is s retired chief of city that I will not name at the hotel. The 3rd floor bathroom in the room that she booked was leaking and I found it. I used the restroom as I waited for her. The ceiling leaked all over me as I used the toilet. They agreed with her as s…he asked to be placed in a new room for her. Finally after 35 minutes as she went back as forth she was provided another room.
I feel her room should have been comp’d. The had to the argue again for a roll away that she was told she would be provided. The hotel is over 20yrs old and need major updates. I saw the manager the next day as I meet her for brunch and the offered her breakfast only. Unbelievable!

We just stayed here with our two boys this weekend. The staff was friendly but to be honest the rooms were just ok. They felt very damp! So damp that my receipts In my purse were wet. The bathroom was not very clean either. And don’t get me started on the noise outside our room in the streets. Holy cow! Luckily we brought a sound machine which helped drown out some of the drag racing that was happening at like midnight. I was also disappointed that the room didn’t have a mini fridge. But the room served its purpose for the night.

Mold and water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom that was filthy overall! Thank goodness I travel with Clorox wipes and Lysol! Booked on priciline and then got hit with an additional $100 in fees. The staff was nice but not very competent. The hallways and our room smelled of cigarettes and there cigarette burns in both of the comforters. Needless to say we slept on top of them. There was only one set of towels in the bathroom so I called down to the front desk to request more. After waiting an hour, I walked down to the front desk to request more and was told that I "need to be patient". When I was asked about my stay I expressed my disgust and was given a complimentary drink ticket for the bar however by this time it was closed. I requested a late check out but was told that it was not available. Got a text from the hotel the next morning asking me to rate my stay on a scale of 1 to 10 to which I replied "1". At check out I was offered a complimentary turkey sandwich as compensation for an unpleasant visit.

Very nice hotel. Bad things: the elevators were broke when we got there. There was a wedding reception happening and people checking in at the same time. We waited 20 mins in line for the elevator. It was pretty much like that our entire stay. Another bad thing, we found used tissue papers in the side table's drawer. It was gross. Good things: very good view of the city's skyline! Great location too! Walking distance from Piedmont St. Some parts of the hotel definitely needs updating. Like the carpets in the hallway obviously look old. Also, the walls in the halls also looks like it needs repainting soon. You can tell the hotel used to give that expensive luxurious vibe but it has gotten old and faded away.

Price is good for location about a mile from the aquarium, Coca Cola, etc. Rooms. Are not that big but clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom is clean, no fridge or microwave but you can request them no charge. We requested both because we travelling with young kids and it took over an hour to get them. Service is good, everyone is very nice and helpful. Lobby is clean and well kept, plenty of elevators. Also you have to pay to park.

I attended a wedding at the Crowne Plaza and overall was very satisfied with the location. There is a very nice view of the city at the top and I thought it was a great venue. The staff was friendly and it was nice to have the reception in the same building as the wedding!

The hotel is rooms and building are nice and the service has been good. The hotel took forever to check us in even though it was past 3 pm. Came in with a big group and they gave us a sassy attitude about it not being 3 when we initially arrived but by the time we were back from lunch, still no effort to have our rooms ready but allow other guests to check in while we waited in the lobby. The internet is one of those 3rd party providers which is horrendous! Can't download anything.

They were able to accommodate my request to check in early, which I appreciated. Check in took longer than I expected. I don't know if the staff member was new, but in the time it took her to check me in, the other line checked one person in, helped another one and was about to check in a 3rd person. It was a longer process than necessary, plus no explanation for what took so long. The other person had to step away from her line to assist for a moment. Other than that, the hotel is fine.

Class hotel in the middle of the city.

This is a follow up to my previous review. My husband and I booked this room because my daughter had a prom to attend in midtown. When we checked in, we were excited to see the big balcony. We immediately went outside to enjoy the view and found that the balcony was disgustingly dirty. There were at least two hundred cigarette butts, a roach (weed), airplane size liquor bottles, pieces of Black and Mild cigars, a plastic glove and other assorted trash. When I got ready to make up the pullout couch for my daughter, I discovered there were no linens. I called the front desk and was told they would bring them up. When housekeeping arrived, she handed me one top sheet. When I asked for a bottom sheet, the woman looked at me like I was from mars and said, "you want a bottom sheet too"? Well yeah, I don't want my daughter sleeping on your nasty mattress! Then I asked for a blanket and was told they were out of blankets. When I told her that wasn't acceptable and I paid for a room with a sofa bed and expected it would come with linens! Her response was "well your heater works doesn't it"? Additionally, we only had one towel for the three of us to share! After writing a review here, a man named Cedrick called me from the hotel and said he was going to refund our money. That was approximately two weeks ago and we have not been credited. I would steer clear of this hotel. If all this is going on on the balcony, I don't want to know what goes on in the rooms.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was clean with comfy beds and an awesome view of downtown Atlanta skyline. The room does not offer refrigerator and microwave which I found very odd. The room also does not have electric safe. Breakfast is moderate and had variety of fruits, and hot items. There were very limited variety of cereals and all items were repetitive every day, it cost $18 for adults which I don't see it worth it. Parking garage is connected via walk way with the hotel which was convenient. Self parking is $15 per day. Overall a very nice stay, its close to all major downtown attractions and good restaurants near by.

No house keeping for 4 nights living, no response even after we called for room cleaning service. Bath tube drainage problem cannot be fixed, noisy air conditioner, no fridge in the room, very old microwave oven upon our request. No bath towels (2 non completed towels sets only), not enough cups & mugs for 4 people living room.

The best hotel I’ve ever been too, I loved that there was 15$ parking behind it which had a hallway connected leading to the lobby. The view was amazing and the room was even better. There was an ice machine right on my floor so I didn’t walk far after a late night.

The hotel was very nice and as expected. What made the experience 5 stars was the friendly and attentive staff, especially MARSHA who works at the front desk. She went far above and beyond the norm in helping our elderly parents this morning. Mom had an appointment at Emory, and Dad was feeling weak and unsteady. Marsha welcomed him into the lobby and kept an eye on him so that Mom could keep her appointment. She was a God-send and so very sweet. The hugs for Mom and Dad as they left were heartfelt and special. Thank you Marsha!

This is a beautiful place. Our room was very nice The View was wonderful. There was shopping within walking distance. The front desk was very accommodating and very friendly. The the valet parking was excellent and the man that helped with our luggage was very fast and very good. The only trouble we had was the maid service putting stuff in our room or bringing stuff that they forgot. I would have given them a five except for the maid service. The room was very clean we just needed towels and shampoos and replacement coffee that never came. When I asked the maid in the hallway she even gave me extra she was very nice. I would be happy to come back and stay again. We went to a big wedding there with three sit-down meals everything was excellent. I love Atlanta, and this place is right across the street from the varsity which makes it even better. Shannon.

It's a very clean hotel, the employees were very good, professional and friendly. The only problem is parking in the mornings, traffic around the hotel makes finding parking a headache.

I do not know who designed the parking lot and entrance and exits but they should probably have a special level of purgatory reserved for them. Even now with some thought, these could probably be streamlined. Do not park here for Ponce City Market because they actually have spotters with telescopes on the top of that building and we'll send somebody down to boot your car. The stores are of decent quality and exactly what you'd expect for chain stores that live up to their specs. But nothing more with the exception of the Middle Eastern place which is quite good. Avoid parking hair during traffic hours as getting in and out of the parking lot will probably at least a half hour to your journey.

My husband booked this room late Friday night thinking we would have an awesome stay for the weekend. Such a disappointment! I normally don’t leave negative reviews because generally I pick rooms based off others experiences. The rooms desperately needs some renovations. Balcony doors are permanently locked and room was not the cleanest. You can hear the doors slam all morning and night from the corridors. We are on the ninth floor and feels like were sleeping outside. Received a knock on the door around 9am asking us to sign something showing housekeeping stopped by for service… seriously?! Long story short, this hotel is not worth $200/nightly plus $33 valet parking/nightly. Keep your money and go elsewhere.

Enjoyed a one night stay in this midtown Atlanta hotel. The staff was friendly. The location is walking distance to a few restaurants and some large businesses. The hotel is very close to the North Avenue Marta station which is about a 25 minute ride from the airport. The bed was comfy. I had free Wi-Fi. I had a view of the city and the highway. There is an on-site restaurant, bar, and small hotel owned marketplace.

There was a bag of garbage outside our room overnight and was still present when we checked out. Then I had paid for a package that included breakfast, and not just the free continental breakfast. We waited to be seated, per the sign, but were not acknowledged for over 5 minutes. We finally just entered on our own and helped ourselves to the free options. When other guests came in, they were offered menus with much nicer options. We left the breakfast table after eating, having never been acknowledged by the servers. We didn't complain to anyone, only because it was Christmas morning and we didn't want to make anyone else's day unpleasant. No one likes to work on Christmas, I understand this.

Loved the rooms, they are spacious. Room was clean, staff was friendly. We were able to get late check out as well. The only thing I didn't like was the parking was 30 dollars a night. My room was only 78. Dollars through priceline. Why would parking be half price for room?

Their new Worklife rooms are really mice and relaxing. The only drawback is you have to request a microwave. There was no mini fridge but I guess one could be requested. The beds have great reading lights so as not to disturb your partner while reading (if you are traveling with someone)

A hotel where you get the tranquility you want to rest. The menu is very good.

Nice hotel. I would have given it 5 stars but we had to stay in s wheel chair accessible room and wasn't notified st check-in, and we had s stained towel. I don't know how they allow that to happen, but it happens I guess. In any event, It was still cool. Lobby is really nice. Beds are comfy.

I attended a work conference here. We stayed in the same hotel as the conference. Check in and check out where painless and quick. The room was about average and the TV had plenty of channels. The bed was comfortable and the shower and provided amenities we're good. I would stay here again.

Not impressed and I would recommend staying somewhere else. To give you a few examples of my experience here:1. When I arrived in town I came here straight from the airport and was ready for a late lunch. Since a filming sessions was going on, the one restaurant that should have been serving food was closed. I understood and decided to just call in room dining. The phone rang and rang with no answer. I ended up leaving the hotel in the rain to go for lunch 2. The room is VERY noisy — every night. Horrible sleep. Come on… invest in some better windows. 3. The inside liner in the shower was not long enough so water poured on the floor when I showered (picture attached) not to mention the used towel left in the bathroom from the previous guest — disgusting! 4. Day 2 I tried breakfast in the restaurant First… waited at the hostess station for over 5 mins and finally had to flag down a waitress to be seated. Eggs were cooked incorrectly — for some reason they think eggs cooked over hard should have a completely runny yolk. They did remake the eggs but we were so rushed on time it was difficult to enjoy. 5. Tried room service the next morning so I wouldn't have to worry about time and again the eggs were cooked incorrectly and I was charged for something I didn't order. They said they would remove the charge but when I received my bill at checkout the charge wasn't removed. The lady at the front desk was able to adjust my charges.

The good: Modern looking hotel, after a nice renovation. Easy access parking. Relatively clean rooms. I did see some paint bubbling in my bathroom and marks on the wall. Not too far from several places to eat. Pleasant staff. The bad: If you're in a room facing the highway get ready to enjoy sirens whenever an ambulance/police passes by. The hallways wall paper shows signs of water damage and the carpet definitely smells like that. I have very mild allergies and whenever I was in the areas with carpet my nose would get runny till I would leave the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with nice, spacious, and clean rooms. Fantastic location, easy to get to right off I-75/85, with a quick and easy walk to a MARTA station nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff! Great amenities in the lobby too, with a fair trade coffee bar and little partitioned work pods for privacy while working/studying/web surfing. Will absolutely book here again!

We came along with many others running from Hurricane Irma. Place sold out and filled with people with dogs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean nice rooms. Got two queen connecting rooms with pull outs. Balconies attached to the rooms, 24 gym. Valet is $33/day, we chose to self park, since we had our pets and cars filled (having to go back to them to get more items as needed), which is $15/day. Breakfast buffet pretty good. Fruit, make your waffles, bacon, sausage, biscuits/gravy, yogurt, runny eggs, cereal, turkey sausage, bagels, couple pastries, lox and cream cheese, some meats and cheese, few more things. Coffee shop that is only open in the mornings? Many people drink coffee throughout the day. There is a Dunkin' Donuts across the street. I would visit this place, again.

Nice room and ideally located. You have Marta météo station half a block away. The hotel is right between midtown and downtown. Basically to place where things happen. It is also walking distance to the aquarium and all the tourist stuff around. The breakfast wasn't great so I actually prefer have a breakfast outside. Friendly staff, specially Lakisha… Hi there.

I was greeted at the front desk by smiles, sweetness and laughter completely. The clerk was more than helpful, adding a few extra perks to our stay as a sort of welcoming gift and token of appreciation. I love the city side view of the Crown Plaza and rank it among one of the all around best hotels in Atlanta.

We spent 4 days here. My husband, myself, and 4 of our grandchildren! What a wonderful place to stay! Everyone was courteous and always greeted us with a smile when we came back to the hotel from an excursion! The location is great if you are planning to visit all or any of the many attractions in the city. We could easily walk to most of them. The grandkids; 10, 7, 6, and 6, LOVED the 4th floor outdoor pool. We'll definitely be back… maybe just the two of us next visit!

A gold star for a nice lady named Lamrót. What a unique name. I believe she is a Guest Rep. She was very nice and sweet to me throughout my whole experience at Crowne Plaza. She was very informative and provided adequate answers/suggestions for my questions about the entertainment around the area. Thumbs up to her for making the hotel a great experience.

The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff was unparalleled by any of my travels in the past year — — and I travel a LOT for work. At every step, they went above and beyond. In particular, Lakisha at the front desk went out of her way to help me find everything I needed for my first visit to Atlanta. She was personable, friendly, and enthusiastically proud of her city and what it has to offer its visitors. Though she was busy, she made me feel like I was the only guest in the room while nonverbally acknowledging other staff and guests when they were clearly waiting for some of her time. Great customer service is sometimes hard to find — but Lakisha and the rest of the staff made it easy. At every turn, I found staff looking for ways to go that extra mile for me.

The room smelled as soon as we walked in. Although the balcony was locked and could not be accessed, there was trash on the balcony as if they forgot to clean the balcony before locking the sliding door. I requested a room that was handicap accessible, I noted it in my booking through Expedia as well as called the hotel prior to check-in to confirm this would be available. After checking-in, I was told the only room they had available during my stay was the room I was in, which was a regular room with king sized bed. The room was too small and nothing like I expected. I had the hardest time maneuvering around the room since it was not what I requested and too small. The only reason I am giving them three stars is because the pool, view from the pool and staff was nice. I will not be returning back to this location and I recommend this to be your last resort.

If I would've known there isn't actually room service I would have chosen another hotel. I followed the instructions, dialed 0… 3 times over 15 minutes and no answer. I went to the front desk and asked if I could place my order for room service, the young lady looked at me as if I'd lost my mind. So I went on to ask if there was actually room service? Yes, from your room.
I called 3 times to no answer so I'd like to order something to be sent up. Still that look on her face. She points to the busy restaurant across the lobby.
I asked again, You have room see right? She then tells me I can go over and order myself and says "they're really busy"

The point of room service was for me to stay in my room!
I could have saved money and stayed somewhere else since I had to leave to get dinner.
Thank you for falsely advertising services you don't actually provide. I will be sure to tell all my family, friends, acquaintances and basically anyone that will listen how the Crown Plaza Atlanta isn't worth the price.

Spent the night at this hotel because my daughter prom is when the area. The hotel has been remodeled and it is a beautiful hotel. The staff was nice, professional. My only complaint is I felt like their hotel good have better cleaning habits. I had two different rooms with double beds. The sheets had stains on them and it felt like the surface was clean but underneath it was not. I was glad that it was only one night. The water pressure could improve. They real need to look into the heat, it was a chilly, windy day and it would have been nice to be able to turn up the heat just to knock off the chill in the room. Me personally I don't like when it when a hotel slides my bill under the door. It makes me feel like I have to hurry up and get the hell out.

Horrible experience. Stayed here with a softball tournament, one day they had NO towels in the entire hotel. Nobody could shower, so they didn't bother to clean our rooms either. Complained to the MOD and the Housekeeping Manager… Nobody gave a damn. No apology, no refund! Management there needs a lesson in hospitality.

"Describe you're experience", well I'm here right now and they are terrible and racists. I'm from up north, so if you are from here, skip it. Broken back door, clogged toilet. We put the complaint in at 9:30pm and they finally came up and switched our rooms at midnight. It must have been the lazy management waiting for a shift change. The manager was so rude, walked out on me and bumped my chest, I really had to swallow my pride. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I only stay in IHG properties, due to the fact that I own plenty of stock in International Hotels… Even though tourism is picking up with the strengthened economy, I have to sell my shares on Monday. Thanks IHG for the money you have made me, but after my experience, I cannot invest my hard earned money in YOUR terrible service!

It was a nice enough room. I was really dissatisfied with their parking situation though. The charge $30 for valet or $15 to self park in a garage across the street. Seems quite high, and they weren't up front about the cost prior to me booking my reservation, so it was quite a shock. I probably won't stay again.

Breakfast extremely mediocre for the price. I understandt he hotel has to make a profit but I walked out of their restaurant feeling like I got ripped off. I didn't get my eggs cooked the way I had asked, waitress never once checked to see if we were satisfied, and I must say, in my fifty years of life, I never only received 1 piece of bread with an order of toast. For the pricet they charge, I should at least received 2 pieces of toast with my breakfast. Update: I called the number provided and it went to the front desk. After I explained who I was and that someone responded to a review I posted and wanted to speak with me further about it, she didn't know who to transfer my call to… hmmm.

Stayed at this hotel the night of January 30th in room 317. I'm going to start with the cons because that's a longer list. I regret not putting in a formal complaint, but I have an annoying habit of keeping my mouth shut to avoid awkward situations. Cons: — A/C is broken (can't vouch for heating). We kept it on 60 all night and it STILL was like a sauna. Luckily, it was in the low 50's that evening so we kept the window open — Some sort of makeup/foundation on a clean towel — Cigarette butts all over the patio — No free breakfast (not a deal breaker, but it's not like this is the St. Regis, guys — have something available other than $3 for one piece of toast) — LOUD band playing right outside on the street that woke us up at 8AM banging on drums right outside our window — Asked for a 10:30AM wake up call and didn't receive one Pros: — Nice view of the city (as long as you don't look down, just look far off into the distance) — Front desk reception was nice It's really unfortunate because I would love to stay there again because of where it's located. I would choose to stay there all the time when in town. However, my first stay definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. It's a shame.

Originally I wouldn't have given this place 5 stars because of all the cons the first two days but I must commend Patrick and Charmane for going above and beyond to correct the problems. They were just wonderful and always had a great attitude despite all the chaos due to the very popular America Mart guest checking in. The gentleman outside were very nice and helpful whenever we needed a cab. Very impressed with all the staff! Till next time Atlanta!

We checked in November 13, 2015. When we arrived to the room the only thing that was clean was the bed. The bathroom was horrible, towels were on the floor and bathroom counter had makeup on it. Trash was still in the trash can. I was afraid to even get into the bed because I felt the sheets weren't clean. When I called the front desk to send housekeeping to the room it took ATLEAST 30 minutes and when she did arrive she had an attitude and was rude. We will NOT stay here again.

I had surgery sceduled in 1hr at Emory, I expected to check in, shower, and then go to surgery. When I tried to check in they charged my card Then tried to charge $30 a day for valet parking (which we informed them we did not want) we don't give our keys to anyone… Ever! THEY charged my debit card $180 and then told me valet charge would hit at midnight… umm NO! Then they advised me there would be no water for hours after charging my card. Then they said it would be 3-5 days until they could release the Hold even though We decided not to stay (never stepped foot in the room). I was late for my surgery bc of this disasterous ordeal also 3 other couples complained, one lady was charged twice and was escorted outside by security bc she was upset. I understand why now. I will NEVER recommend this hotel or stay here EVER! Then after having a procedure I still had to hunt a room at another hotel and in pain I might add. RIDICULOUS! I wouldn't stay here if they paid me.

As we pulled up and got out of the car the valet parker was adamant that I give him the key to my car! NEGATIVE! I DONT KNOW YOU! I asked about parking before I even paid and the lady said that we could park on our own we did not have to use valet. We paid for the room and then they told us they did not have water for over half of the day and that parking was going to be $30.00 a day or we could park in an unattended parking deck and ride a bus. We decided we did not want to stay there and then she said it was going to be 3 to 5 days before our money was returned to my account due to pending transaction. I checked my account and the money was already out of my account. While we were standing there dealing with our problem three other couples came up complaining about the hotel and one said she was charged twice for her room. I would not recommend this hotel to keep my dog!

My first stay in Atlanta. Was prepared for very nice room, and amenities for price. Our room was horrible. Coffee sucks, over priced, and by the way breakfast not included… So I won't be back … very disappointed furthermore we had bed linens changed due to fresh lipstick on sheets that had not been changed. I have been up all night listening to a party in room beside us. The city is a noise I know, partying is fine, but put those guests in a different area. No rest for us. Can't wait to leave. We woke up to a 200.00 bill under door. It was the most wasted 200.00 we ever spent. We were so exhausted. We left day early going to mariott town suites. It was spotlessly clean, breakfast included, free parking. When I come back to Atlanta Ill be there.

Crowne Plaza Atlanta — Midtown was just great! Their customer service was top notch. I was greeted warmly and checked in without any problems. They had an associate walk me to the elevator and point out the different shops and restaurants that were available to me. It was a nice touch. Later, when I needed more coffee in my room they brought it right away and they brought lots of it. My room was beautiful and I slept really well. I had a gorgeous view of Atlanta and took many pictures to make my friends jealous. The best part for me was the next morning when I took a shower. I didn't know there were any hotels left that had such strong water pressure. I probably would have taken 3 showers had I known. My stay was perfect and I can't wait to come back.

We had reserved a rooms weeks in advance only to find out when we got to the hotel at 4pm that there were no rooms currently available and we would have to wait. The staff was incredibly rude and even tho we tried to be flexible and told them we would take any available room (instead of the one we requested with a king bed) they still were rude and non accommodating. The female staff member ignored us and just had side conversations with her coworkers and no effort was made to remedy the situation at all. After waiting over 30 minutes we finally got a room but when we opened the door the smell of strong cleaning chemicals immediately greeted us. The room also had no refrigerator, no microwave, and the balcony door was bolted shut so we couldn't air the room out. Also the door to the room had to be basically slammed shut otherwise it would catch and appear to be closed but in reality it was open. When we came back to the room around 1130pm the smell of the harsh chemicals was still there and even tho we were on the 19th floor we could hear everything going on outside and it kept us up way later than we wanted to be. Overall a very unpleasant experience and would not recommend.

Pros and con's; pros: *room service *close to everything downtown *new gym *great staff but one (I was headed to my room and got into the elevator with one of the staff. He looked me up and down, asked if I was married, where I came from, and kept staring at me. Super uncomfortable and unprofessional! Total creep! ) cons: *no vents in bathrooms *all sheets are stained *parking is $15-$30 a day *no safe in rooms *no refrigerator or microwaves in rooms *lobby is under construction so its loud Over all I wouldn't pay over $79 to stay here if they provide less than the bare minimum. Working vents in bathrooms is important! Stains on white sheets are unhygienic. Even motels have microwaves and refrigerators in their rooms. From all the money they make from how much they charge the rooms, they should put it towards upgrading the rooms.

I was excited about attending a special event at the Crowne Plaza in Atlanta. Imagine my dismay when we learned upon arrival that the air condition unit was not functioning properly. In addition the valet was full and the attendants were rude when asked where the alternative parking was located. I had great expectations for the Crowne, but was let down. Marriott and Sheraton brands in Atlanta are the way to go for events where you want to make a memorable impression.

My boyfriend and I along with two other couples spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Crowne plaza hotel in midtown Atlanta. We wanted to be as close to downtown Atlanta as possible. The location itself was great; it was close to major highways and other Atlanta attractions (Six Flags, Atlantic Station…). When we first arrived at the hotel we were greeted by someone from valet. He was very nice and helpful. He opened the door for us and helped us with our luggage. Then we checked-in at the front desk, the gentleman was very nice and he explained all the amenities that the hotel offered. We all had rooms on the 10th floor, which we requested upon arrival. The rooms were clean and the beds were neatly fixed. Even though we had a coffee maker in the room we were not supplied with any coffee. The room did not offer a microwave or a fridge which would of been very helpful to have. The view from the room was amazing (Depending on where your room was located in the hotel). The pool area was decent, and the gym area was great. The room service was great as well. Everyday our bed was neatly fixed and we received new towels. The lobby had a great open space to welcome people and the bar is okay. Two days that we spent at the hotel we woke up to a disturbing banging noise, it sounded like some construction work was being done in the hotel. Another issue which was a huge problem for me was with valet. We had this incident happen twice on different days.

I booked a king room and was given a one queen room. I was told I would get a roll away bed that never came. I was also told that I would be moved into a king the next day by Patrick. The next morning I was told by another women that I couldnt be moved to a king because Patrick never booked/reserved it. She then told me she would have a roll away bed sent up while I was out. I got back tonight and there was still no bed. Not only was there no bed, the room was not cleaned. The only thing that was done was the making of the bed and replacement of the towels. Nothing else was restocked/replaced. When I called down to the front desk I was told, by another woman, that a roll away bed could not go into this room because it was not allowed. I really wish I stayed somewhere else after driving 5.5 hours out here.

Staff are very courteous. Been here since Wednesday and leaving tomorrow. Would not recommend. Very old. Carpets are stained. No refrigerators unless requested and the one provided was small and inoperative. Balcony door leaked so carpet was soaked and starting to smell. Shower drains very slowly — ankle deep water. Iron was scorched and we had to request another. Having a Keurig in the room is excellent however we had to keep requesting (daily) coffee and cups since none were provided. The towed were not replaced daily even though used ones were placed on the floor. Towels smelled of chemicals. Finally there was no information in the room regarding any hotel amenities, namely, pool, exercise room, dry cleaning services, etc. Tremendously dissatisfied and thus spent as little time as possible in the room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the night head of security. The Hotel was nice and the rate was good. Especially being in Midtown and in the mix of everything. Parking is across the street $15 a nite and not owned by the hotel but it's connected to the hotel via a walk way on the 7th floor of the parking garage. The Hotel hall ways and elevator smelled of marijuana but are room didn't and are room was clean as well so it didn't bother us at all. I would definitely stay here again if you want to be in the mix of everything and not have to drive to far.

The staff is very courteous, interior of hotel is nice, you can tell its a older building but the remodeling is nice I wish the balcony doors opened. I have been staying there all week and tonight is my last night. I scheduled a wake up call for 7am and did not receive it 2 days in a row, even after I complained to the front desk. Its supposed to be a "guaranteed wake up call or your night is free" that is not the case I complained and got a simple"im sorry" not that I want my room for free, I just would have liked a wake up call. Thank god I got up 20 minutes before it was scheduled or I would have been late to class. I am staying in Atlanta for 60 out of the next 90 days and was hoping to stay at the crowne those nights but im considering exploring my options.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We chose it because it's within walking distance to Shakespeare Tavern. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff is great. The bar actually has good food. A great value all around.

Horrible. Dirty curtains, broken scratched up furniture. Looks old and far from brand new like it is advertised. A disappointment to the Crown Plaza name and to it's location in downtown Atlanta.

My sister and I visited family for mothers day and stayed at this hotel. Our three day stay was wonderful. Customer service was great and everyone was so courteous and friendly. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Hotel had a wonderful breakfast and we were very impressed by the great hospitality that was shown us by the server, Ghada and the manager, Atilla. They gave us wonderful service. We will definitely return to this hotel when we come to visit family in Atlanta.

Great hotel, even better view facing south and right next to North Avenue MARTA.

This were my First time staying in this hotel. This hotel isn't worth the money that they charge to stay here. Everytime I need to take a shower NO HOT WATER! I have to call the front desk every time. So this is something that they know about. Cause they always said ok we got to reset the boiler. NO microwave in my room. Call the front desk $10 a day. NO coffee! What happens to regular coffee maker. I rather pay a little less for a room and have everything I need. Than to pay all of this $$$$ for a room and go through what I went through REALLY! Very disappointed crown plaza midtown! I rate this hotel very POOR! For my 2 nights.

Amazing A+ stay and experience! David, the front desk attendant, offered prompt and accurate service. The bar attendants Mack and Taylor went well above the exepected level of courtesy and the same measure of hospitality was extended to everyone they greeted. Although the hotel was undergoing slight renovations when I arrived Friday afternoon, the result thanks to the Cajun group, was an unparalleled fitness room! Check out the finished product. I travel weekly and I have not had an experience with a hotel on this level in a long time. Pound for pound.

Got put in a room with dishes in dishwasher no heat no phone to call down stairs and the pull out couch won't unfold and we were suppose to have two queen beds VERY UNHAPPY.
