Very clean and great location.

Love that the bedroom is separate from the living area. The only downside is that there’s no microwave to warm up food. It’s a beautiful room with a balcony.

We stayed at this hotel March 4-6th. The rooms had bedbugs, horrible experience we went to two different rooms 3 o’clock in the morning and they both had bugs. By the 3rd room after the front desk assistant went and checked it we were finally able to settle in. They also did not even help us move all of our luggage we had. The parking garage is horrible and on a slope and small. I would not recommend this hotel at all, it seemed as if they already knew they had a bug problem because when we called the front desk they were not surprised or like this was their first time hearing this!

Very nice, customer service was great, The room was nice and clean only thing I had a problem with is that there's no microwave inside the rooms had to eat cold food! Other than that me n my girls had great time on the 12th floor we seen the whole midtown! Definitely would stay again.

Had an absolute wonderful stay I know stay at Marriotts so I was not surprised by the wonderful staff from front desk to valet.

Here for my sister birthday and the rooms was very nice and the front desk was delightful, very friendly and accommodating.

Me and my kids stayed this weekend and I most say everything was nice of course as anything there is going to be hiccups but nothing to overshadow my stay! Amazing Place!

I don’t usually comment on these types of things but I want to let people know about this hotel. The customer service is very good. The down side is this hotel is completely rundown. They need to redo the rooms, furniture ect. Make the balconies safer for small kids. A 5 year old could slip through the bars (of course we wouldn’t let them out there alone no matter what). Hallways old, beds are old. And parking in garage is fine but the system is broken to get out. You are supposed to be able to use your room key to get out and if that doesn’t work (which it never did) you have to push a button to call someone but that doesn’t work either. You then have to walk up and get someone to let you out! And we were paying prices much higher then this hotel should be getting based on how run down it is.

Upscale hotel right in the heart of mid-town. Nice bar that's open late, and clean rooms (you would think that would be a given but…). Separate living and sleeping spaces, and multiple televisions with personalized welcome screens (nice touch! )

I was visiting a hotel guest. The valet staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful. The hot room was spacious and we'll decorated with a nice view of the city.

Okay I have to say this Marriott staff really made you feel welcome. I want to thank you all from the car attendant to housekeeping thank you for a job well done. Taking pride and team work is what makes this hotel brand different from the rest. Keep up the great work.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! A few days after reserving a suite, I drove 2.5 hours to this hotel only to be told that my room was cancelled due to an expired CC on file. They claim that they sent me an email but I never got such email (when I booked or the day of check in). Furthermore, I even called the hotel the morning of to inquire on an early check in of which they looked up my info and gave me the green light for early check in (should rooms are available at arrival). Thus, how can my reservation be cancelled just hours after I spoke with them? They then tell me that they have no rooms available to accommodate me. I then got a "senior manager" involved who was the worst manager I've ever dealt with in my 20 years of traveling. This manager had no intentions to help me, kept blaming me for my mistake, and with that "there is nothing we can do about it" attitude. I pleaded to him to help me as I drove 2.5 hours for an overnight concert of which this hotel is walking distance from. He showed no sympathy, respect, or offer for help. He did not even have the courtesy of at least helping me find another Marriott hotel. He told me to find another hotel myself and walked off on me, leaving me to figure out booking another hotel at 7 pm. I even admitted my fault upfront about the expired CC and genuinely asked for his help. I made my mistake but Marriott made a mistake as well by failing to notify me the day of reservation or the day of check in.

Proximity to downtown is great, lots of nearby restaurants, and suites are much larger than I needed. Be forewarned, however, my housekeeping completely ignored my placard both nights I stayed here, so of you're someone who values their privacy, keep no expectations during your stay here. Rooms were clean and internet was decent, though. Overall a good enough short stay.

This isn't worth the money. It should be good, but it was very disappointing. Our room stunk when we walked in. It kinda smelled like an old musty smokers room. The room itself was ok, it just stunk. It also only had 2 towels, when I booked it for 5 people. Not a huge deal, but shouldn't happen. I noticed soon after checking in that they charged me for the entire room even though I had prepaid. The girl blamed the person who checked me in and said they ran my card for the room instead of just the deposit… SHE was the girl that checked me in! Now I have the headache of making sure that charge doesn't post to my account. The pool was disgusting. The filter wasn't running and it had styrofoam and hair floating all on the top. It wouldn't take much to improve all of this, but for the price they're charging, it shouldn't need these improvements.

Stayed for mothers day weekend and couldn't have been happier. The rooms were perfect size for our family of four. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only drawback is not enough attention paid to the pool area. Not enough lounge chairs and pool area not very inviting. However overall stay was perfect and would definitely come again!

The hotel was clean and had good accessories. The shower was nice. The pool is only 2.5' deep but was warm enough for the kids. The TV has great selection. The garage is rather cramped but had plenty of spaces.

This is a great, modern hotel. The overall styling is slick but not too corporate, and the rooms are nicely designed. I was in town for a conference, and this hotel was chosen by the organizers. Reservations were easy to get. The front desk staff were VERY friendly and helpful (with special props to Patrick), and they answered out many questions about the area. Our room was a suite with a sitting area (desk, fold-out couch) and a bedroom (two queen beds). The bathroom was clean and had a separate tub and shower stall. Having been to several hotels recently, I can say this was one of the best layouts I've had.

Good location but dated rooms and finishes. Needs a good renovation! Large suite-style rooms are great for groups with multiple people or children. Walkable to midtown hot spots.

They get 1 star and that is generous. The room wasn't in the best shape but appeared clean. I was across from the pool so it was noisy. They get 1 star because the housekeeper, door person, and the people at the counter were kind. That is pretty much the good stuff. My frustration comes when there was a hold put on my card due to missing paperwork from my office, I was told once the paperwork was received (the next morning) the funds would be released. They received the paperwork and instead of releasing the hold for I was charged the amount of the room hold as well as the incidental hold. That was last Monday and a week later and it has not been released or credited back to my account. I have tried to reach the accounting department by phone and I cannot even leave a message because the mailbox is full, how professional… I have always had great experiences staying a Marriott properties and I cannot recommend this one.

We had a room on the side where there is construction going on so it was not private as there were construction workers right outside our window and the noise was awful. I would have expected a discounted rate for our particular room. Parking is $27 per night so expect that extra charge and my kids were disappointed that the jacuzzi was out of order. They would have liked to relax after competing all day. The room was spacious but the bed needs an upgrade, it had plywood under the mattress!

The rooms are big but they make you pay for the Wi-Fi.

What an amazing guest experience. Hospitality is on point with every single employee. You can tell the staff really enjoys their career choice. The rooms are tidy and spacious. I can't wait to come again!

The hospitality is phenomenal. The staff here is what makes this great hotel exceptional. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Any request is fulfilled by the staff. This hotel is my favorite in Atlanta.

Very nice hotel. Good size suites, good food available for ordering (though no traditional room service), and a full size tub with separate shower. Downside is front desk isn't very professional. We were missing an ironing board this past stay and always have to fight for a receipt. Once, we were changed incorrectly and had to contact Marriott 's home office for a resolution after being pushed off by local staff. So, great room, just check out amenities first thing, and arrange how you're getting your receipt upfront.

This place was nice on the surface. Looks like it was an old hotel and they did SOME improvements. Unfortunately there is construction going on next door which seemed to go on all night. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me too much. They did place earplugs on the bed side table to help. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. One of the best I've ever had at a hotel. You do have to pay for it though.

The hotel is nice in terms of cleanliness and condition of the rooms, but the hotel management for some reason at the booking and check in in no way warns that next to the hotel there is a construction work on which does not stop even at night with the appropriate noise Support. We did not immediately realize that the earplugs on the bedside table is not just like this (the Marriott's attitude towards its clients is very disappointing.

If you drive an SUV beware of the limitation on the garage. If it's cold outside the lobby and restaurant areas will be cold. Breakfast buffet was quite good. Only one robe in the closet but that was easy to fix.

This hotel is located in a great part of town. The staff is friendly and courteous. We like the suite arrangement where two couples can be comfortable sharing a room for a night. I recommend this hotel.

We are (My life partner and I) Marriott rewards members we booked online @ Marriott. Com and asked for a high floor with a view when we arrived they put us on the 8th floor ok that was cool even though the property has 19 floors. Then we were placed in a room where the heat didn't work when we called the front desk they sent up the loss prevention associate who told us maintenance was gone for the evening and if it doesn't come back on call the front desk so you know we did they moved us to another room and gave us a voucher for breakfast that's all we always tip and we have just this year along been to four different Marriott properties this year (Marriott at the Brooklyn bridge Ritz Carlton Pentagon city Alexandria VA & Fairfield inn Clearwater FL) This was the worst experience with Marriott thus far. Not all bad food was great and the drinks at the hotel bar were great so it's ok but I would not recommend this location.

Great location, by the freeway, restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with updated bathrooms. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I didn't give 5 stars because the windows were drafty. I stayed in November and had to turn the heat up very high due to frigid air coming in from the windows.

Great hotel overall. Walked in and was greeted with a glass of wine upon check in, the restaurant bar staff was great and the rooms are extremely spacious and comfy. One of the few hotels in the area where you can actually get a pitch black room, which is perfect for my sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

All I can say is Jerome is the man! He was the first face we saw when we arrived Thursday evening. He greeted us with a beautiful smile and a friendly welcome to the Marriott. He wanted to know how he could help us. At the time, we had no idea what all that entailed. He became the valet Parker, the bell hop, the perfect host and planner, and even came and picked us up from dinner out at Buckhead one night. He and the entire staff at Marriott Suites were so sincerely nice and the epitome of good old fashion customer service. They treated us like royalty, a very rare novelty in today’s world. A lady never had to open a door for herself. Staff members were always quick to make sure we had everything we needed, and lend a hand in any way they could. If in doubt as to where to go for entertainment, dining. No problem. Just ask Jerome. He would advise us and make arrangements for transportation there and back. Everyone went out of the way to make our stay a fantastic experience. The hotel was very nice, well furnished and accommodating. We will definitely be returning there in future trips to Atlanta! Thank you so much to Jerome and the entire Marriott staff!

I never give five star reviews but this Marriott has the nicest staff of any hotel that I have ever stayed at. The door greeters were great! Front desk top notch. The environment is what takes it to a very nice hotel to exceptional. Nam was the best wait staff of all time. Super kind and attentive she should get a bonus the way she works the room is amazing. Thank you for making my first trip to Atlanta a great experience! It really made up for all the construction noise.

A nice casual environment. Stopped by attempting to escape the Music Midtown crowd and found it to be quite pleasant. My bartender was great and made a great Manhattan. The location is in a great location that's closer to other walkable dining and drinking options.

Stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed our time. The hotel itself is older so the pool area is a little old fashioned, but the room was big and had nice features. What stood out to us was the awesome customer service — the staff were all enthusiastic and so friendly and helpful! I loved feeling important from walking through the door. They even gave us a fortune cookie to open upon check in that gave us a certain number of free Marriott rewards points. Great experience!

The in-person staff is very friendly and accommodating, but I've never had a good experience over the phone with this hotel. That's crazy because I know it's the same people, but that's been my experience. The rooms are a good size, and they are clean and well maintained.

My friend and I got a room for the bachelorette party we were hosting. The entire staff was very hospitable and accommodating to all of our needs. I especially appreciate the assistance we received from Ashley and Jerome. I will recommend this location to any visiting families/friends that I have come into town.

Super great — the room was spotless and clean and had everything I needed. The staff was outgoingly friendly and helped with everything I needed. The location was perfect. We didn't even need a rental car in Atlanta at all — free shuttle to Atlantic City shipping area with a ton of stores and even a Target when I forgot to pack something. Food is nearby and everything. Didn't know cost since my company paid so value I'm not sure about. But it is the best hotel stay I've been to.

Great hotel for a reasonable price. The front desk employees are always very friendly. And can answer any question that you have. This was our second time staying here for a local business Christmas party. We will definitely be back.

Supposed to be a nice hotel but was not very clean. First, they put us in a dirty room that was still trashed from the guest before. Then we got moved to a room down the hall that the air conditioner wasn't working well, wouldn't cool down, so it was hot and stuffy, even humid inside the room! The shower was disgusting too! The staff were rude and seamed incompetent. The manager I spoke with played dumb or he just was dumb, not sure but acted like he didn't care at all and was rude. I feel like when you make the reservation, they should inform you of the high daily cost of parking! They tried to charge $6 for a bottled water, which was ridiculous, maybe not so much if they were a fine dining restaurant or something, it's expected there! It was just an all around bad experience and we won't stay there again!

I must say I had the most awesome stay here. The staff went over and beyond the call of duty. Especially Yolandra and April. You should be so proud to have workers as kind and caring as these two. My heart was really touched they showed the true meaning of southern hospitality. I was visiting from Chicago and they made me want to move to Atlanta. The rooms were very clean pool was nice and clean also. Just simple one of my best stays ever. I highly recommend this hotel. Valet staff was excellent as well. Keep up the good work ladies you all are in my prayers God Bless You All. Will be returning again and will be staying in Marriott Suites Midtown.

Not recommended for the wedding night!
We stayed at this hotel on June 23, 2017 with my husband right after our wedding ceremony. The staff at the front desk was extremely rude, as if they did not want to be there.
Before our stay, my cousin called the hotel to arrange a bottle of champagne to be delivered in our hotel room. The employee he talked with confirmed the request and said that they offer complimentary champagne to the newlywed couples.
As he informed us about the situation, we checked in to our room with the expectations mentioned above. However, there was none of it. We went down to the front desk with my husband and asked about our cousin’s treat. She said that there was no such note on reservation. After that, we asked if they provide any complimentary package to the newlywed couples and the answer we received was: “We have some romance packages but they are not available to you since you did the reservation on Booking dot com”. Frankly, we weren’t aiming for free champagne or anything, but we were pissed off that the hotel treated us differently because of the sales channel we have chosen, and most importantly, they also managed to screw up my cousin’s intention to provide us a little wedding gift. Here is a little tip for you: if you sell the same product on different platforms and aiming for the happiness of your guests, then offer the same services to all your guests regardless of the sales channel!

Super nice people earn this a 4 star review. The hotel itself was comfortable, although showing its age. Furnishings need updating-just a bit rough around the edges with cracks in the flooring, a shower that needed some rehab and other touches. But the staff was courteous, helpful and all-around amazing. Will return just on that point alone.

Get back from dinner and my hotel room is flooding out. Person in the room next door fell asleep while filling her tub front desk said. Got a new room staff here were outstanding they super quick to fix this issue

Large, comfortable room with a great view. Soft linens, comfortable chair at the workstation. The front desk was nice enough to throw in Wifi for free (it's normally $10-$15 per day). The bathroom has a shower and a separate bath, so if you were to take a bath you don't have a sliding door or curtain in your way. I enjoyed having the extra space in the dedicated shower.

It was decent by Marriot standards. Every associate that I encountered had a great attitude. Room service was good, I never got up early enough to eat breakfast. Nice size double room suites, the only thing that is missing is a microwave for my family. With my kids we usually rent a condo but this hotel room for once did accommodate us. The wife enjoyed her quick surprise birthday weekend so all is well.

The front desk check-in was seamless and offered client care beyond just basic member service (s). I was presently surprised by the curbside valet's warm instructions about my parking options; to the welcoming direction from the door concierge; and, the speedy reservation confirmation. The room gifted to me had a wonderful view from its business casual interior ambiance. I enjoyed the Kohler rainfall showerhead, quick elevators to my 15th floor, and the extra sink over the mini frig. Was another perfect touch of detail. Thank you Marriott for making my overnight stay memorable. I'll happiliy see y'all again in Oct!

We enjoy our stays at the Midtown Marriott. The rooms are large and comfortable and once I rearrange the furniture my husband can get around easily in his wheelchair. The staff are helpful and generally friendly but we did have one encounter that soured my opinion of the staff and the hotel. I self-parked, $26/night!, in the attached parking deck. However to find an accessible spot I had to go to a lower level and the pipes scraped the luggage racks on our converted minivan. So next time I came back I parked in the handicapped spot out front after asking a taxi to move out of the spot. A Marriott employee asked if I was just dropping off my husband, I told him no, I was parking there. He told me he would let me park on level one in the deck (valet) but this spot was used by the hotel for cabs. I told him I was not moving, it was a handicapped spot and I was staying where I was. "I'm just telling you what we use it for" was his response. As I went in he did say "we do want you to be happy here. " Handicapped parking is NOT for taxi service and when we left and returned the space was again occupied by a car without appropriate tags and when we checked out a taxi was in the spot. Marriott needs to have the space converted to a taxi spot or not use it for that purpose. There are several spots available for the cabs adjacent to the spot.

Check in and check out was very easy. Parking was a little expensive but I guess that's just what you get in Atlanta. Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were gorgeous, comfortable, and clean.

The hotel was nice. Rooms very clean, and the front desk was delightful. The reason I gave this hotel 3 stars was the $26 parking fee you incur while your staying at the hotel. I know you wont find parking in Atlanta without paying a fee, but I find it absurd to be charged extra when your paying to stay with them.

Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable. If I had ANY complaint (and it's a small one) it'd be that the bar tender didn't know how to make a decent old fashioned. Other than that, great experience!

This is not what you would expect from a Marriott when we got to our room and pulled out the sleeper sofa there was a pair of male torn pants inside the sofa. Gross! I called the front desk to inform them they stated that they did not have a house keeper on duty at this hour I then asked for sheets to make up the bed and the sofa bed. I asked for the manager to call me in the morning because the manager for the night of course was gone for the night. No call. Received my check out and called spoke with the morning person in charge Nicole she was not helpful however she simply stated that it was not much she could do but give us breakfast. Ok took her up on that offer we go down to the restaurant to eat breakfast and what do we find in the food a bug. OMG can this stay get any worse. Take your money and find another hotel it's exterior and interior is nice however the morals of making sure guest are taken care of SUCKS…

I am a monthly parking client. The staff there treat me like a guest. They are wonderful.

Wonderful stay at this well maintained property. My only quibble is that the beds are a little soft and could use a change. Still, a great stay over the holiday and would happily stay there again. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was open on Christmas day!

We booked a block of rooms for our wedding this past September and were not the happiest with the results. We worked with about 4 different Sales Reps throughout the few-month process and felt like all they wanted was our "business" along the way. Mary Beth Chandler was the only representative that we really appreciated and felt as though she was trying to help answer our questions and make our stay for both us and our wedding guests as the best as it could be. The rooms were really nice and there is a nice gathering area in the front, which was the only redeeming quality of our stay here. When we booked rooms for our wedding block, the dates, prices, and rooms were incorrect on multiple occasions. It all got fixed with Mary Beth thankfully. We wanted to make sure that we would have connecting rooms for our event and I had sent multiple emails and voicemails and never heard back, so we had to physically go to the hotel to talk with someone at the front desk. She made a note of it and said that we would be guaranteed double rooms for our the weekend. This was important for us, so that we would have enough space for the bridal party to get ready-otherwise we didn't want the connecting rooms. It became even more frustrating on the day of check-in on the Friday before our wedding (the evening of our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner).

I had a horrible and scary experience during my stay here. At 3:30AM, a man with a key to my room attempted to break in. Only God & all the locks on the door stopped him from entering. He tried to break thru the additional top lock. When he attempted that the loud bang alerted me to the attempted break-in. I was in bed. I yelled at the top of my lungs and he left. I reported this to the front desk and they sent security up to my room. I heard voices in the hallway and assumed security had found the perp or at least was talking to someone who may have seen something. I was surprised when security returned to say he saw no one. I still had both keys assigned to me in my room when this incident occurred. How did the perp get a master key or a key to my room? There was no damage to my door so a device/crowbar wasn't used. I always make sure the hotel room door is locked and secure whether I'm in the room or not. I was traveling alone at the time and will not make any reservations at any Marriott properties any time soon!

Well I was just woke up by loud construction going on right outside our room. No one mentioned that this would going on. Horrible.

I had corner room with balcony. The room well laid out and spacious. I didn't hear any neighbors and slept like a baby.

We stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday. Loved the room, but I don't think I would call it a "city view" room. View was less than spectacular. Construction going on (I know that can't be helped). In booking on their site, I also asked for extra towels and foam pillows, but I didn't recieve them.

I really wanted two adjoining rooms. I made my reservation online stating my request, and I called several times to ask for two rooms next to each other. When I arrived, the receptionist had no idea I wanted adjoining rooms. To make matters worse they didn't even have two rooms on the same floor! The whole weekend my friends and I had to wait for the elevator, which sometimes took a long time, just to see each other. However what hurt the most was one of the rooms had an adjoining room door. Meaning the people next to us could have switched with the room on the other floor. It was a really important weekend for me and no one at the hotel ever listened to my concerns.

Who doesn't love a Marriott! Right in Midtown. Staff is attentive. Lots to do.

The room itself was nice. The staff at the front desk however was very rude. I had got the room the a discounted price but I would rather have paid full price after the hassle they gave me. I didn't feel like t the front desk staff was treating me like a "guest". Parking is 25 dollars a night which is ridiculous. You even have to pay 15 dollars daily for the Wi-Fi. I will not be visiting again.

My husband and I booked a hotel at about 7:30pm this past Saturday using the ebookers app. We checked into the hotel (Atlanta Marriott Suites Midtown) at about 8pm and the hotel gave us room keys for room 1522. Because we were running late for dinner we didn't go up to the room, but instead dropped our bags with bell services and went straight to dinner. When we returned to the hotel at 2am, the room keys didn't work. We went back downstairs and the woman at the desk “fixed” the keys. Back up to the 15th floor and again they didn’t work. Back down to the lobby and she “fixed” them again. Back up, still not working. Back down, and this time she sent a hotel security guard with us. By this time it was about 2:30am. He unlocked the door to find it was latched from the inside and there was a man sleeping in the room. He accused us of loaning our room out or letting friends in (which we did not). Back down to the lobby, and we waited for about 40 minutes without so much as an offer for a bottle of water or even a “sorry”. Meanwhile, there were some other angry patrons yelling at the woman at the desk—it seems like they were having similar issues. Around 3am we gave up waiting for her to figure out if there were any free rooms and asked for our car to be brought around so we could drive back to the suburbs, and we didn’t return home until 4am. The complete lack of customer service was a joke.
