They cancelled our reservation 3 days before we arrived with no explanation and offered to put us in an old hotel for the same rate. Totally unacceptable!

Rooms are beautiful. The staff was very helpful. Covid guidelines are in place. The restaurant was absolutely amazing.

Rooftop is fantastic! Drinks at bar are weak and $$$. Gin and tonic had minimal gin and $10!

I travel nationwide monthly for business and by far this hotel has the best rooms, best staff and by far best breakfast of any hotel I have stayed at. I’ll be making trips back to this locations every few months for the next few years and you can bet I’ll stay at this Hyatt each time!

While the hotel was clean, updated, and nice the customer service was absolutely atrocious. My room was paid at the time of check in on April 30 via business check and my debit card put on file for parking/incidentals. I checked out with the front desk on May 3, 2018. At this time my debit card was charged the full amount for the room that had already been paid. I immediately went back to the front desk and inquired about the charge. I was nonchalantly told “it has been refunded on our end, but will take a couple of days for it to show. ” Mind you, $432.00 is not a small chunk of change to not have available in my account. On May 7, the charged posted to my bank account. It was NEVER refunded. I spoke to multiple employees who had no explanations, no solutions or even seemed to care. I finally spoke to someone who told me they had refunded it again, only to find out my debit card was charged another $864.00! Still no one knows why, has a solution, or even seems to care I have no access to almost $1300 of my money the Hyatt charged me. I was originally told this was my fault, my banks fault, I was told I would get calls back that were never returned, I was told I would checks would be over nighted to me none of which happened. It has been an absolute nightmare. I finally called the fraud department at my bank who arranged to have the charges removed. I did the leg work and waited 6 days to be able to have money again.

Amazing addition to downtown Athens. Very hip, super clean and awesome breakfast. Can’t wait to come back and see the rooftop bar in action.
