Although my room was recently renovated and I was most likely the first to use it, the bathroom outlet did not work and the front desk could not get it fixed for two days.

Let me say this, Nairobi was amazing. His customer service skills, sensitivity to my situation on me getting there to the hotel from Ohio and making sure that everything hotel wise was taken care of for me when I arrived was AMAZING! But the asst. Manager, her insensitivity to my situation, her rudeness as I checked out today and the INEXPERIENCED rep that was left to work the front desk by herself when I checked in was HORRIBLE! I think if you're going to be in customer service, then one must obtain a set of great customer service skills to work in those positions unlike the rude, insensitive asst. Manager and inexperienced front desk clerkwho took 20 mins to check me in, and did another reservation for me although I already had one. I enjoyed my upgraded room that had comfortable beds, a spacious room and huge flat screen. Beyond that, I wouldn't stay here unless Nairobi or someone else was checking me in and making a great experience for me.

We just had a terrible experience at another hotel and coming here was the best thing we could've done. Not only did they sympathize with us but they upgraded our room to a King when we had paid for a room with a Queen bed. Everyone was really nice and the complimentary breakfast really came through for us. I would highly recommend if you're staying in the area!

Great location, well lit, and clean. An older hotel, currently being renovated. Friendly staff. Checkout is at noon, so you have a little longer to linger than many other hotels before having to leave. The pool is indoors and secure. Room was a little dated, but was still nice and met our needs. It didn't yet have the modern lamps with outlets and/or USBs in the base that we have been spoiled with lately, but the outlets were still nearby and pretty easy to get to.

It was an ordinary, run of the mill hotel. Location was great for why we were there. Checked in at 2am and night shift was gracious, kind, hospitable. Never found a cart for luggage coming or going.

Awesome room, and 5star service from staff. During my visit there were some construction going on that didn't bother me at all. It is placed in a convenient place, close to business buildings and walking distance from a major shopping center, using the Greenway right behind the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

My son and his newly bridespent their honeymoon night there April 15, 2018! We were called to pick them up they were so disgusted! Do you not have a special room for newlyweds and treat them special? I feel you owe them an apology and another night accommodation that would exceed all their expectations including being pampered! Beds are hard. Ither than that it's not that bad. Staff was nice, continental breakfast was alright, but waffle house is literally right outside. Would choose another hotel next time though based on the beds ya know.

Asked for a wake-up call but did not get it. Asked for a razor but they said I have to come to the front desk to get it. Shares a parking lot with a waffle house, so you get blocked in by big trucks when you want to get out. Very disappointed.

Nice motel, but you could tell where they were starting to renovate the place. It was clean and breakfast was good.

Waffle house right outside! They also have order inn room service. And fast Wi-Fi because they usually aren't full during the week. They are also adding on more rooms and renovating right now, so some dust around but still a great stay.

It is right next to another hotel, and I walked into the wrong one by accident. Looking for a room that doesn't exist is always fun. Location is nice. It's off of a semi-busy road, and close to a bunch of other stores and fast food places.

They have a very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the hot tub wasn't actually hot.

No hot water for a few days for me or other guests I spoke with. Bathroom smelled funky. Otherwise my stay was fine.

Clean room and hallways. Breakfast was not great but there is a waffle house next door. Friendly staff. Room had both a refrigerator and microwave, which is awesome.

Room was clean comfortable and in good repair. Breakfast is never great and this hotel is no exception. But it is free and you can always have the cereal or oatmeal Instead of the dry eggs. Pool was super clean but… Swam for 10 feet with my eyes open and they burned so bad afterward that I had to get out of the pool, rinse with clean water and then still couldn't open them for ten minutes. My kids didn't seem to have a problem, but they probably didn't open their eyes underwater.

I stayed here for five days and experience was just okay. Here’s a breakdown of the areas of the hotel that I used. Bedroom: The was clean and neat. The staff cleaned the room daily and the staff themselves were extremely welcoming. The reason I giving this location three stars is because of the bedroom bathroom. The condition was not in best condition for a room that I paid $113.00 a night for. The toilet seat itself was peeling in areas that could hold bacteria. The was mold along some of the caulking and grout. The light fixture was also rusting and dripping rust onto the counter. Dining hall: The food was great and hot. The staff even put out food that was especially requested.

Good value. Hotel was very clean for an older property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of eggs, bagels, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, 4 types cereal, muffins, pancakes, fruits, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, milk, coffee, and juice (s). Pool and sauna were in good shape and clean, especially for older property. Only negative to speak of, beds were VERY firm!

My favorite hotel to stay at. Beds are always comfortable, rooms nice and clean. Just need more bacon instead of sausage for morning breakfast.

Pool and whirlpool worked fine. Fitness equipment worked. Rooms were clean no odor. Bed we're kinda hard. Breakfast was excellent all though not a fan of powder eggs. They have a wide selection to choose from. Room service excellent overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is very clean with newer furniture. Bathroom is clean and towel are soft. Bed was comfortable with comfortable pillows. The continental breakfast was adequate. There's a waffle house next to the parking lot, if you need more. I think the breakfast was adequate, so I felt no need to go to the waffle house. The parking lot could use some HD cameras, because my car was slightly dented by another guest it seem. I didn't see who did it, but wish there was a camera to capture the offender. I must confess, I'm a picky hard to please person, but found no real problem with the hotel itself. I did forget my favorite suit, tie, dress shirt and a polo shirt. I didn't realize till almost a week after getting home. I immediately called the hotel, but the front staff told me to call back when housekeeping come in. Anxiously waiting till 8:30 am I did call back, just to hear the good news that, my clothe is in the manager's office waiting to be pick up. What a relief it was, in this world where honesty doesn't seem to be the best of policy. I then called my son that attends school in GA, to collect my suit and UPS it to me. I would stay here again. I hope the staff maintain this hotel in the good condition as when I stayed there.

Very nice staff. Rooms smelled like sweaty gym sock someone forgot about. The "breakfast" was available. Waffle House was close. Trash cans in the room were full when I checked in and used bars of soap were on the sink and in the bathtub. The tub and sink weren't wiped down because hair was still in them.

I read other reviews, but I must say, I had early check in an no problems, I didn't use the pool or the hot tub, but it was clear an in use, the breakfast was great an the receptionist Angel, was very sweet!

Clean and well managed. Lime you expect from any holiday inn express. Good location.

We picked this place because it had a pool and a hot tub. The hot tube was out of order. The Pool was milk white. In the room we found to tobacco filled spit bottles. Nothing against kids but we had kids stomping on our ceiling all night. Called the front desk and they did nothing.

I am currently staying at this Holiday Inn Express location. Today I took my family out to see the sights of Atlanta, and arrive back to our room to find it has not been cleaned at all and it still hasn't been cleaned going on 8:30pm, and yes I have called the front desk about this and got told I will make a note about it. The past two days we have been receiving bad service from the housekeeping. Will not return.

I really enjoyed myself I would recommend Holiday Inn.

Travelling for business. Unreliable wireless network made it impossible to connect to the office network to be productive after hours. Also difficult to impossible to stream video. If you need to be productive at the hotel or after hours, consider another hotel.

Horrible customer service. I used my IHG rewards to stay here and the also charge my credit card. I called several times to get this resolved and I keep getting told the GM will call me back. That was 8 days ago. Filling a complaint with BBB and disputing the charges!

My mom and I stayed at this location for the Van Morrison concert. I want to say thank you so much to Derrick, Curtis, and Miss Jay! You all made our stay wonderful. The hotel was sold out and very busy. The rooms were clean and anything we needed you all accommodated. From shuttles to the show to the airport exceptional service. Thank you!

BUSINESS TRAVELERS BEWARE! I am a business traveler that travels frequently throughout the year and as of late, I am spending lots of time in the Atlanta Metro area. I book all of my travel on a corporate travel tool with my company and was only aware of typical cancellation policies whereas I either have to cancel prior to 6PM on the day of travel or in some more stringent scenarios I am warned that I must cancel at least 24 hours in advance. In the business world, I rarely (pretty much almost never with the exception of this situation) ever give a deposit for a hotel stay. That is what makes this situation somewhat frustrating. My trip was booked one week in advance of the actual trip. After booking the trip, I was told that my team in control of the local transportation was staying an extra night outside of the Atlanta area. So I immediately went back onto the corporate travel booking tool; cancelled the Holiday Inn Express hotel; and booked another hotel outside of the area. This all happened on the same day that I made the original reservation and was done not knowing that I had signed up and was already charged for the room. I didn't pickup on this until I reconciled my travel card and found the charge. Going back through my email archive and after speaking with AJ and the Hotel Manager (Jay?

The stay was great but seemed as it may have been an older location and the details like no outlets in the lamps. Lack of outlets near the bed for phone charging or a laptop.

Room was clean and smelled good but while laying on bed two gentlemen entered my room. They had been keys to my room by mistake. Not cool! Front desk apologized but still.

Great friendly staff (A. J was a joy), room was very clean, all the amenities were there! There was a clean indoor pool and jacuzzi and the location is right down the street from the mall. I was very impressed that I had no issues whatsoever and will definitely be going back if I'm need of a hotel in that area!

Good rates. Excellent customer service. Anthony at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay; and just all around very friendly. The room was very nice! And our family of 6 really enjoyed the heated pool.

Nice and clean and convenient to nearby businesses and the mall. Waffle House is in the parking lot with crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and fresh yummy waffles, of course!

I had a King suite for my husband and son. The rooms were really nice and spacious with a sofa bed in a room all by itself that allowed my son to have his own private space with a television. Breakfast bar was great with all the trimmings. Being that there was rain in the forecast, the inside pool was right on time. Will definitely stay again.

Your Alpharetta Ga location on Mansell Road is operating a cancellation scam. They have treated and entire volleyball association horribly. If you do not want to offer 24 hour cancellation change the policy, do not charge and claim the General Manager had made the final decision and he is not available. We all will be contacting corporate office as well as true local owner. It is a complete shame because the Comfort Inn next door owned by the same person has the best customer service ever.

I was moved there because next door was bought out for New Year. Stayed for two nights moved back next door, long story short, I am now missing my Ariat boots! I hope the new owner of my boots love them as much as I did.

The staff are the absolute best. As one of 30 stranded commuters during the snow storm of 2014, the staff was very generous and accommodating to the everyone. The provided coffee, muffins, and a warm place for everyone. They offered pillows and blankets for those sleeping in the lobby. The rooms were nice and the staff extremely professional, caring, and friendly. It truly is the people that make this establishment first class.

I took my wife of 11 years out on a date in Atlanta. I booked a night here for she and I to stay. The room was average. The stay was average. After checkout we noticed a charge against our account by this hotel of $150.00 We contacted the franchise about the charge and were informed it was a charge for smoking in the room. They by their own means not only accused us of smoking in the room but held their own trial and found us guilty without our presence or notification of the alleged allegation. The room charge for one night stay was $101.00 with tax. They add a $150.00 fee after you leave bringing the total charged amount for one night stay to $251.00 Neither my wife nor I smoked in the room. We did attend a few smoky bars, my wife did empty her purse of the empty cigarette packs in the trash can of the room. The representative said they had photo evidence of us smoking in the room and would not credit the charge back to our account. Even if I have to take them to small claims court I will. I will not rest until these crooks are exposed for what they are.

Service is great and it's nice but showing it's age. Need to update the rooms and Hvac etc but not bad for business or family.

I stay here regularly because my company has an office nearby, and I love the friendliess and flexibility of the staff. They really know how to take care of you! The rooms are always clean and bright, beds are comfortable, and the parking and surrounding area are safe.
