The accommodations were very nice given the low price we paid. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. My only complaint is that during our 2-night stay, none of the rooms in our group (5 rooms in total) were serviced. Thank you very much for having us and we will absolutely be staying with you again on our next trip!

It's an old motel, no way of getting around that, but it's been maintained decently. I stayed overnight and it was fine. It's nothing fancy, but it's pretty clean and gets the job done. One problem was the thin walls, I could hear people chatting all night and again in the morning. Of course, for the price, breakfast isn't included. At least they do serve coffee and tea in the morning. It doesn't look very attractive when you first pull up, but I encourage you ask the people at the counter to check out the rooms before you decide not to stay. I believe the rooms upstairs have newer beds if you're interested. Overall decent.

The location is great! Everything is pretty close. You could even walk. The room was clean. The towels and wash clothes smell different. It's a strange smell, I wish there was breakfast but the year and coffee is nice. The staff is very nice. There is some rust going on in the bathroom.

The mattress was great. The pool was clean and well-managed. Great location, customer service was great everyone was very friendly with us. Who was very clean and well-kept. My only complaint was people were standing outside around our room and smoking. People should not be allowed to smoke in front of other people room.

First the location was great, we were going to Weeki Wachee springs and it was across the street. Coffee in the morning was fine and all associates were very friendly, kids loved the pool also. My only complaint is there were Roaches in our room 138, kids were a little disgusted by it. I think that I can bring my dogs so we'll be coming back for sure. Just need to exterminate the rooms. Thanks.

Room was nice, my phone died and there was no alarm clock which was disappointing. Also, we got bitten up so bad. When we left we saw the room next door had a cat. I wish I would have known you allow animals because I would have not stayed there. I literally have flea bites all over me and so does my husband.

The location was good. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly pool was really clean. All in all it was good. The only thing that made it bad was the gm. My family had an issue with her over a year ago and she still held a grudge with us when we tried extending our stay there. Even though we did nothing to her she still told the staff not to extend our stay. I know is probably wont mean much or might not even get past her, but I will never stay there again and I will tell everyone I come across about her and how she runs the place.

Rooms are new and really beautiful. Very large beds, in which you can sleep well as a couple, there are even two of them in the room. Everyone has enough space to sleep.
Unfortunately, there is no refrigerator.
Although the bathroom is small, it is enough for the short stay.

This property has really went down in the last 6 to 12 months. Cleanliness, security, and overall perception. This was a great value place, reasonable but still very comfortable. It was very upsetting to see it this way.

It started out great. Room looked and smelled clean. Got there Saturday, went to the river Sunday and sat at the pool. When I got back in, later in the evening the floor in my room had cockroaches everywhere. There were baby ones running everywhere. They switched me rooms. I just got home and there are baby roaches in my bags. For as many people that were there at the hotel it was easy to get a chair at the pool. They say it's a heated pool but it was colder then the river. Staff was nice but the rooms need some cleaning.

The rooms were not spotless, they could have been swept and had more attention paid to under the beds or behind the doors, etc. The housekeepers were friendly and the room was comfortable though. Good location. Allows pets for no additional fee.

We didn't even stay the whole night. There was mold in the bathroom. It was either too hot or too cold. Some guy got taken in an ambulance because he stepped on some used needles. The bed was awful. We couldn't sleep. There was a roach in our room. The price was the cheapest but just wasn't worth it. We got there at 9pm and left and at 3am and cancelled our second night.

The Desk Chair had tears on the arms as it was too tall for the desk and the faucet was very touchy. Wi-Fi was good, the shower was great and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner was loud but that's to be expected. The property was better than most which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Nice large room, kept very clean. Stayed there 6 nights. There was a loud argument in front of our room one night, but I called the desk and it was taken care of immediately. We were very pleased. If they had a fridge and microwave I'd stay again!

The only room left was a smoking room. I didn't realize they still had smoking rooms. Smelled pretty bad. The room was clean and basic. Had a nice walking area for dogs.

For the price it was amazing its next to a water park. The service was amazing. We looked at one room and it looked very good. We have had no complaints so far on this stay but I recommend you to stay here.

Everything was excellent from check in until check out. Staff was helpful and the room was larger than a standard motel 6 room, furnished well and very clean. I was extremely comfortable during my stay and would recommend the property in the future.

I've been staying here for years but this time will probably be my last. The room was dirty. Dried urine all over toilet, dirty sheets. Floors had not been swept. I was very dissapointed. I went next door to the dollar general store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself. It was me and 3 children and on the second day I was only allowed 2 towels. Housekeeping said they were short. So back to store I went to buy towels. Shame on you motel 6 spring hill, fl.

I have stayed here at the Weeki Wachee/Spring Hill Florida location. This was my 4th stay since the first week of November, I would stay between 3-5 nights on average visit family. It's a great value when on a budget for a clean room for a good shower, clean linen, and restful sleep. Rooms are very basic room with either two Queen or one King bed. The pool area is very nice and a good place for a swim and relaxation. I personally like staying here for the price and not to inconvenience my family when in town. You get what you pay for, and I say it as a positive way. I could stay in the other hotels in the area but I just need a place to shower and sleep. Another reason why I come back is because of the front office staff. I have had the pleasure in meeting Autumn, Daniel, Frankie, Pam and Will. They always greet my wife and I with a warm friendly welcome, very professional, good customer service and they strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Just remember this is not a 3, 4 or 5 Star hotel and/or Resort, Its a nice convenience Motel 6 that's clean and budget friendly, with a great staff willing to make your stay comfortable. Disgusting Motel 6 I've ever stayed in, traveling as I do with different family members I have stayed in quiet a few. The GM as she called herself was an extremely rude to all of us and often harassing to my daughter who stayed at your motel for 2 weeks while waiting for her home to be finished. Never have I been in a took that was so filthy that I went to the Dollar General to get Clorox, Clorox wipes and a mop and bucket just to clean the room the bathroom the sink vanity and mop the floors. When I approached housekeeping about the filth of the floors I was advised that the girls get 20 minutes to clean a room and that would include doing the floors the bathrooms and the sinks and bathtub is well. And if they were only given one wipe to put on what was I would guess to be a Swiffer type push floor cleaner to clean the floors which did absolutely nothing. I had my daughter take pictures of a towel that I used to wipe up water that I had spilled on the floor about 15 minutes after I checked into the room it was absolutely black then I looked at the bottom of my feet and they were black as well.

Have to give 5 star on this visit. Room rates were fair this go round. Clean and quiet. Kids liked pool. Closes at 10pm all good…

This was bare bones. The bright spot was the friendly, dependable, and efficient staff. On the downside, there was no breakfast, only coffee and tea and no lids, despite what the manager on duty told me when I checked in. There was only one ice maker and it was near the office, a vast distance from me. There were washers and dryers available but no place to sit and wait and the dryers were exorbitantly priced. There was no shampoo, only soap. There was no fridge or microwave (none was promised). The TV was nice but tiny.

Rooms were immaculate and large in size, if very spare in furnishings. The hotel is a former Holiday Inn of the 1960's and is a bit dated in layout and fixtures. However, they work very well with what they have. That includes an outdoor pool open year-round. Saturday nights are noisy, probably due to bargain rates. Staff was very competent and eager to help. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

My tag was stolen from my motorcycle. There was no security and no cameras in place. I stayed for a week and was not offered a weekly rate. There was only one ice machine and it was located quiet a distance away in another building. The lot is dimly lit and so ate the rooms. On my sixth day, without advance notice my daily fate was raised by $25. I was told that this was the case because it was the week of Christmas. My certainty I will tell you that you need not count on my staying with you in the future nor will I recommend you. As a matter of fact I will not hesitate to share my experiences at Motel 6 with everyone that I know.

The women at check in were very nice, as were the cleaning ladies. The man I spoke to on Saturday evening was rude and short on the phone. The room was ok. Beds and linens were clean, floor was filthy. Got out of the shower and walked to bed, bottom of feet were black. Had to wear shoes and keep towels on the floor next to beds. Linens were thin, a comforter would have been nice. We've stayed at this motel 4 other times, for less money and it was cleaner. Only basic channels on the TV, not what was listed on the flyer. I don't think we will stay here again.

I only spent $55 a night. Room was clean and the grounds were nice. And best of all Pine island beach was just a few minutes down the road. I cant say anything negative about this hotel. My stay was perfect and cheap.

My husband is being treated for cancer at Oakhill Hospital and since we live a good distance from there, I find it convenient that the rates and accommodations are available there. It is clean and inexpensive. Just wish that a coffee maker would be available. I have stayed there many times over the past year and recommend it to others at the hospital.

I knew that, at the price that I was paying ($40/$60), that I should not expect much, but I should have been able to expect a room that did not have a dangerously unstable chair or electrical outlets that actually worked or an air-conditioning unit that did not squeal all night, but I guess I was wrong?! You all should be ashamed of your selves.

It was terrible. The room was dirty. There were ashes on one of the made beds. We ended up driving the almost 3 hours home after a quick dinner with family because it was too dirty to have my children even stand in that room. The towels smelled. The room smelled. It was filthy. Not just old and needs updating I can understand that. I spent money on a room we did not use. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone and guess what I was with family but am in the travel business. The only positive was your staff is very polite. It onky gets one star because it won't let me put less.

Good customer service! Only reason it's getting 4 stars is the room. It's a little run down and some paint is peeling. Bathtub was in need of a good bleach to get rid of some hard water stains. Overall though, good cheap stay. Pretty clean, grounds are keep nice. Pool is GREAT!

Worn and dated rooms with a noisy laminate floor, but hot water and a good shower and an impressive outdoor pool. Terribly worn and uncomfortable mattress. Housekeeping kept failing to replace our towels. Noisy A/C. No frig. Barely acceptable lodging in a good location on a budget. Next time we'll spend a few more bucks for a better mattress and a frig.

Check in process was fine once we got to the room we get in and the smell was horrible. It smelt like mold. At check in I ask for a baby crib. It comes to the room. The baby crib looks like it has never been cleaned and the baby before barfed in it. I would never put my baby in something so unsanitary. Then we found roaches in the bathroom. Our tub never stopped running so it leaked all night long. And the tub was clogged so it never drained all the way. I will never stay at this property again.

Filthy. Toilet bowl hadn't been cleaned in so long there's a ring around the water line. Hair on the bathroom floor. Had socks on, after walking on the hardwood floors for 10 minutes my socks were filthy. The water out of the faucet is cloudy. Base boards all filthy and broken away from wall with dirt and dead bugs in between in one area. Won't even consider showering here. The only reason we're staying tonight is my sister is a disabled veteran and we're displaced due to Hurricane Irma, she can't travel anymore today and there are no rooms available anywhere else locally that we can afford. The one star is for the desk staff who were very pleasant. All the housekeepers should be retrained in how to properly clean a room and the manager should be fired for allowing even one room to look like this. This isn't a room that was not cleaned adequately once, this is months of neglect. I could go on but I think I've made my point. Do NOT stay here.

First off I would like to say that the front desk employees were all of them very nice and very cordial, given the complaints they were dealing with. That is the only reason I gave it one star. They each personally deserve five stars but unfortunately I can't rate them separately from the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel we went to the pool and there were people who had dogs not on leashes… pitbull running around the pool area. Nothing was being watched. It was completely unsafe. Also we went to our room to check in and it was disgusting. The bedding had stains on it, in between the sheets it felt like there was sand, the floors were so gross but after walking around for five minutes barefoot our feet on the bottoms are completely filthy and black with dirt and had hair stuck to them. There was dog hair all over the room the bathroom wasn't clean, they were bugs and cobwebs in the corners and tiles missing. The air conditioning unit was plugged into a loose outlet laying on the floor not in the wall just laying on the floor and the AC units condensation was dripping onto the floor and underneath the planks of the fake wood floor so that when we woke up in the morning and walked on it but they were squishing. We informed the front desk and the poor lady there apologize profusely. We had arrived late in the evening and we're only planning on staying to one quick night, otherwise we would've checked out and gone elsewhere. I do not recommend staying here. It was filthy.

The rooms were good. We appreciate the dog policy and being able to park our boat nearby. The ice machine hardly ever had ice. We just needed a small amount and had to leave for stores nearby which was disappointing.

The price and location were perfect for our budget and visit. A small coffee maker/mini fridge/microwave would have been nice, but again, it is a reflection of the price to stay. Our only concern was the door locks. You were able to pull hard and open the door with both locks engaged. The A/C although cold, acted as if it needed a cleaning, as it didnt stay cold throughout the night. Again, it served it's purpose for the stay. A less expensive hotel directly across from our destination.

Good value for money.

We selected this motel because it is close (across the highway) from the mermaid park, we checked in about 6:00 pm, the staff were nice and told us about the park. The room was easy to find, and for an older room it was a bit worn, but clean and roomy, especially for the price. We asked for extra towels, no problem. We all enjoyed the swimming pool fairly large, and very clean. My granddaughters really enjoyed the pool after a long day at the park. All in all for the price and location it was very nice.

The kids really enjoyed their pool. The rooms were pretty clean. We most enjoyed the location because it was close by the beach we were at and right across the street from Buccaneer Bay and the mermaid show.

Nicely update, employees very nice, awesome manager. Could be cleaned a little bit better. But staff is very respectful to the customers. Nicely cleaned pool outside plus the mermaids show across the street from the motel 6. But you would have to be there early because the max of people that can enter the park is only 1, 600.00 people. You should be there at 8:30am. To park your vehicle's. I give motel 6.8 Stars.

Basic rooms. Some upgraded. Paid 60 a night. Directly across the street from weeki wachee springs. Has a outdoor pool.

Stayed here 3/20/16 with my kids and fiance, we had to go buy plastic sheets to sleep on, and blankets. Ridiculous amounts of stains. We didn't use pillows, just balled up our clothes to use as a pillow. The room stunk. The pool looked repulsive. My kids wanted to swim so bad and I was the bad guy for not letting them! You could almost see the diseases swimming in that pool. We left as soon as the sun rose and went around the corner to quality inn where we paid only $10 more and stayed over a week and my kids got to swim! :)

Just got back from spending a couple of nights here. This makes our 4th or 5th stay. We were as usual extremely happy with our stay. The staff, from front desk manager Sandi to the housekeeper and maintenance man on duty (whose names I did not get), were exceptional. Very friendly and hospitable. Room was clean and comfortable. Will be returning soon! Always our go to place to stay when we drive to the Gulf Coast side! Keep up the good work!

Nice room. Clean looks just painted, fridge and microwave clean and just right for a couple day stay. Brandon at the front desk was very nice and courteous. All in all best stay for the money in the area. Real lodging for real people.

Newly painted and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Large property with plenty of space to walk the dogs. Spacious parking area. Located close to the state park. Good price. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Would stay there again.

The room had a lot of room, however that did not make up for how dirty it was. The sheets had stains, the pillows had whatever type of residue looking like ketchup I was hoping. The bathroom had hair everywhere in which completed disgusted us being how small it was. We were completely uncomfortable and will never stay at any Motel 6 again. I understand you get what you pay for but there is a difference between a good cheap hotel and a insanely unsanitary hotel.

Stayed here for a night with my 60 pound dog. There was nothing that stood out as either outstanding or crazy at this place. So-so: * Cleanish rooms * Beds seemed alright, not too springy * They have a decent outdoor swimming pool Bad: * Dog owners wouldn't pick up after their dogs, and the hotel seemed OK with it * Free coffee in the lobby is a joke.

The desk staff at the Motel 6 in Spring Hill, Florida was extremely cordial and welcoming. The room was very neat and clean. It appeared as if the walls were freshly painted. The motel itself was in excellent condition as if it was perhaps recently renovated. It's in a very convenient location, near a variety of restaurants, etc…

Great staff. Truly a 5☆ staff. But… had to switch to a different room because of roaches. Dried food in the bathroom sink. Carpet so dirty you can't take off your shoes. Very outdated everything. Best of all the homeless people that hang around and drunken guests accosting you as you go to your room. But they are working to improvement so we'll be back great rates and no pet fee and especially for the staff. Good people like that are hard to find.

We just got back from a three night stay with them. They where great. The rooms where clean and the staff where very helpful and friendly. We where also nervous to go here because of the reviews on here but I am so happy we went and checked it out. Give them a try you will not be sorry. Thanks again guys see you again. The brewers.

Worst Motel I ever stayed at in this world! Mean staff. And Horrible rooms, Not so good Wi-Fi.

A friend stayed there recently and had some stuff stolen from his room by the maid. The front desk was notified and their attitude is what do you want us to do… DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING VALUABLE IN THE ROOM WHEN YOU AREN'T IN THE ROOM!

I was skeptical because of some of the negative reviews but there's nothing wrong with this motel I was there on a Saturday night and yeah there was some people partying but that's what they go to motel 6 for if you are on comfortable with people having some fun you need to go down the road and spend $100 for a room the room was fine.

The recently remodeled Motel 6 at Spring Hill was spotlessly clean, the room was large and comfortable, and and the staff was very gracious. It is also a pet-friendly property, which is great for me, since I regularly travel with my dog. I would definitely return. There was one unfortunate experience, which has nothing to do with the property. Early rising guests (5 a. M. ) were gathered on the balcony above my room talking very loudly and, I'm sure, disturbing other guests. I did not report the incident to the front desk. This just happens sometimes.

If you enjoy sharing a hotel with drug addicts and criminals, this place is for you. Cheapest hotel rooms in county, only bring " the best" in clientele. Clean up this property Motel 6. You're a disgrace to the community!

Was a great stay, the only reason I didn't give it 5stars was for them closing the pool, if I'm going to pay for only 16 hours for a one day price I should be able to use the pool when I want.

In short, we booked this room ahead of time for a week. Our room was never cleaned, my wife had to chase down the cleaning staff for clean towels and after 4 days, we had to chase them down to finally clean our room! Only to hear the cleaning lady rant on about how she had to work during her lunch break, that she had too many rooms to clean, and so on… Not sure how that's our fault, we simply wanted some housekeeping! The rooms and pool are also seriously outdated. We paid extra for a fridge and microwave, we could have went and bought a better microwave at Walmart for $15. We stayed at the non smoking side… Only to find cigarette buds everywhere, even the staff was smoking on this side. People on the second floor were flinging them on our vehicle, smoke was coming through the bathroom vent, … And to top it off, I even had to kill a few roaches in our room! Would rate it 0/5 if I could!

Pool was big for a motel. Room was clean. Wifi worked well. Close to mermaids and shopping.

We had a nice room, it was clean and staff was great! stayed 3 nights wished I could stay longer.

Motel 6 was the worst place I've been to. And the owners canned response shows originality is lacking definitely a "Do Not Recommend" please do not ask me to contact your staff to see if you can better improve clients stays. Best bet is to bulldoze and put a park in it's place.

As soon as we got into the room and I went to the restroom there was a cockroach on the floor. Very dirty. Then after our stay we get a call saying we stole a pillow from their room. We did not take anything, apparently we weren't given the right amount of pillows to begin with. Thanks for the fantastic night, motel 6. We will not be back.

I love this place by far have stayed in several motels and this is very clean love the staff highly recomended.

I have stayed at many motels. This one rocked. Clean, friendly and great beds.

This motel l is great, for family, plus if you have pets, they alow pets to stay during your time on the motel, great area, lots of stores and restaurants, movies, shopping places, parks I recommended, I love this motel 6. Cheap prices.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times since 2002. I liked it better under the old management when the lil bar and restaurant was still there. I guess for the value you can't beat it but the rooms are seriously outdated. Also I don't know how they choose what room you get but it seems out of the 10+ times I've stayed there they always put me in the same room or really close to it. Way in the back corner upstairs every time. Place just always comes off as dirty and old to me. I'd expect that from small lil hole in the wall places but from the large chain names I'd expect more. Like who the hell still has tube TV's? If you can afford a lil more I'd suggest going across the street to quality.

No matter how good you are it seems you can always improve some where so be on your toes at all times looking for better ideas and your rating will stay high. Keep looking and you will stay high.
