Surprisingly we got a good deal. This place is great. Well maintained. It's very close to airport and whole foods. I loved the location. Plenty of channels to watch on TV.

This would have to be the worst Hilton I’ve ever been to. When we checked in we were given room 806. The room was filthy. The floor wasn’t vacuumed and had paper, nail clipping, & candy wrappers on the floor. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. The shower still had soap in it, there was a blood stain on the door by the handle, and there was poop on the floor in front of the toilet. The bed sheets had hair all over them. They moved us to room 1107. This room was better. But on Saturday nights get there was no hot water. We had to take cold showers at 12:45am. We called the front desk and they said “sorry, we can change your room”… REALLY? Who is going to pack up that late and move to a 3rd room? The room did not have a microwave and the only microwave was OUTSIDE by the pool! Would you wanna go OUTSIDE to heat up food? I am very disappointed as a Hilton Honors member. This is a full blown Hilton and it felt like a Motel 6.

Sorry let me say the call center totally crew up my reservations. Charging me a different price for every day for the next 4 days. Well the young lady the desk gave me the lowest rate for the 4 days. The place is nice and clean. You know what I like the shower controls on the opposite side hey great idea. The staff is amazing so for. There is a bar down stairs with food. Bath room just ok. Room kinda in like Hyatt but better.

Nice hotel and comfy beds, but the front desk girls I encountered were rude and condescending. I visited Tampa for a business trip, and Tony (the rudest so I remember her name well) was condescending and losing her patience with me after I just asked ONE question. I am from New York, and I thought I had no patience! As a Hilton Rewards Member, I personally ask my job to place me in Hilton Hotels; however, after dealing with two or three patronizing individuals at this hotel (who were rude to my job's exec assistant who paid for the hotel, no less), I will definitely reconsider where I stay in the future. PS — I stayed in a Hilton in Pittsburgh back in February and had the most pleasant experience. I called Hilton to rant and rave about that hotel's manager. I give credit where it's due, and I think if you're in customer service, you should at least pretend to like your job. Your guests shouldn't feel uncomfortable when they stay at your hotel. One of my room cards was never activated, and I did not want to deal with the eye rolls or the being ignored as occurred several times over three days. :)

The room seems recently renovated. Everything looks new and very pleasant. The only complaint is a layer of dust around the TV, showing that it wasn't dusted for at least several days (I am allergic to dust mites). Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Room was clean and quiet. Conveniently located. Bathroom was very small and the only water temp in the shower was scalding… so hot it could not be used. Checkin was slow with only 1 person working a very busy desk. We were given keys to a room that was already occupied, which seemed to have happened to a few people that same night. I would stay here again, I just feel the front desk could have used additional assistance or training.

I've stayed here on multiple trips. I've always been pleased. Make sure to stop by the bar & ask for Renee or Tubby. Both are extremely friendly & are a great source of information about the area. Some floors have been recently remodeled. You'll be happier if you ask for these floors.

Nice hotel with great location to airport. Staff is friendly and attentive. Kevin, the host at the restaurant, is wonderful. He is very friendly and very customer service oriented. Good experience overall!

I’m giving 4 stars. It could’ve been 5 stars if I haven’t came to the hotel with salt all over my bed at night time. Called housekeeping and they told me that they are limited on employees. Had to fluff the blanket and sleep on a salty bed. Other than that the room was marvelous.

Great appearance, extra clean rooms, great staff! Absolutely loved my stay here. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool decent sized and we'll maintained. Workout room had plenty of space and good amount of equipment. Landscaping outside is beautiful. Great hotel inside and out. Would recommend to anyone.

The best part was their food and their great transportation people. They could bump up security though. A tip if you go there : always lock your door and make sure that it is pulled shut all the way. Many times people will try your handles then slide a fake pizza add under the door. If there is an add in you room then check fir an address and see if it is true. If not then don't order because they will steal your money.

The staff is friendly and the room is clean and comfortable. Did not know the breakfast was not complimentary and it was expensive. Even though there was 45 minutes until breakfast would stop being served, the buffet was not stocked very well. The eggs were hard and there were no more waffles or biscuits. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower were clean. The room's climate control was set to 79 degrees F at night, so I woke up in a sweat and had to adjust. Overall, not a great experience, just ok. Breakfast is better had somewhere else.

Our company has held a few workshops here and the staff have been amazing. The food is delicious and the hotel and over half of the rooms have been updated… beautiful hotel. So love the location as it is close to international plaza and many restaurants.

Nice clean rooms. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed our stay. Best part is that we were close to lots of restaurants and other activities.

Excellent executive lounge. The bacon and Starbucks in the morning made my day. I do wish they had a few more exciting things on draft, basically only macros. I guess that's what you get at a hotel bar. Staff were super friendly though and beds were very comfortable. AC system worked very well. Overall an excellent experience.

The entire place is beautiful. The staff was friendly. The bartender, an English man who's name I can't remember was incredible, and deserves a raise. The food available was delicious. And the view was perfect.

The staff made all the difference. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Overall, the experience could have been better. There were problems with the AC the day we arrived, so it may have had a lot to do with this, but the meeting rooms were so cold it was hard to concentrate. The guest room was clean and comfortable and the location was good for what we needed. It had convenient access to the airport and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Conceirage lounge was closed for the holiday. Not really sure why they couldn't have at least left it open for Honors members to grab a bottle of water and snacks. The upside was we got a full breakfast (buffet was also closed) which was good. Front desk staff was not friendly. Rooms were nice.

The place was great! We stayed here for During the week of Christmas and the front desk were very professional and helpful especially the blonde girl with the accent. She was accommodating in every way. I loved how they had a shuttle bus the takes you places such as back to the airport. I would definitely come back here.

Rooms were dusty, carpets were not well vacuumed, and sheets were stained. Not all of the outlets and lamps would actually turn on and it was difficult to turn the shower all the way off. Pipes/AC were loud enough to require earplugs. That being said beds were comfortable, staff were polite, and location was good, I'd potentially stay here again, I just hope it's cleaner.

First room was on the 3rd floor. Entered room and noticed tiny ants crawling on the wall of the entry way and bathroom. When I went to change rooms the staff stated they only had one room available which was on the first floor. That was great considering it was close to the fitness room. However the scent of the hallway and room was awful. It smelled like soiled carpet, mildew or something moldy. There was a fan blowing continuously in the hallway which the niose carried into the room all nite. I guess to help dry whatever was wet. Then the room was quite dusty and carpet was severely stained. I stayed here many times before however this was my worst experience ever. Extremely disappointed in the Hilton.

Although we had issues with our security latch closing when we left the room making it impossible to get back in was a great hotel. They got us back in our room by climbing from balcony in room next to ours and going in the balcony door. 12th floor room with nice view, couch, desk, nice size bathroom, and comfy bed. We had breakfast voucher for full buffett breakfast which was awesome and a late check out at 230pm. Highly recommend.

You can' t beat the location. Near the airport, the mall and great restaurants. Hotel was dated but they were also renovating things. As far as service I can not complain. The online booking worked great and had the digital key as well.

I pefer the King size bed over the 2 full size. The pillows are wonderful. The pool area is nicely landscaped but be aware at dusk the No-Seeums are voracious blood suckers. I found the halls noisy since the doors are not sound proofed. I would like to see trash receptacles in the public areas. Overall the hotel is fine for short stop — overs.

The hotel manager gave me an unpleasant experience. One of the staff members was not helpful and rude also. I am a diamond member and have frequent this hotel many times. While on business I have stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks at a time. I made changes to my reservations, when I did not receive the email as promised I called the hotel directly to verify the change. The staff there did not have the correct change and treated me as if I lied about it. I needed two more days and an additional room. I was gaurenteed a lower rate than what they were willing to do. It was a 50 dollar difference. The manager said she could not change the rate to what I was promised for the one night. Not withstanding I was paying for 5 nights. I know this is untrue. She suggested I get a another hotel up the street. When she could not accommodate me I canceled the reservation the same day however I was charged for two nights as a no show or missed the cancel date. They are unwilling to take the charges off even though I booked another Hilton hotel that could accommodate me for the same nights. I have spent more than 2 hours trying to resolve. I have not received a call back yet. I will never stay at this hotel again for the principle of how I was treated. Nice hotel but the staff is very unpleasant and have no customer service skills. This was the most unpleasant experience from a hotel employee and manager. Mr owner you need a better representative for you hotel.

Great central location for anyone with a (rental) car. Good parking, and decent amenities. The layout of the floors is great in that there is a gap between the three elevators and the rooms (so you won't be sleeping next to an elevator shaft). Rooms are modern and most if not all have an interesting view of the local area. Staff was extremely pleasant and amenable.

This place is terrible. The rooms are okay but my families overall experience here was ruined by the VERY RUDE STAFF. First problem, they do not have trash cans throughout the hotel except for your room. We asked them why? "the management says so" was the answer. So people will leave their bag of trash on the hallway or outside their room. Second, the front desk staff are soooo unhelpful. We stayed here for a week and talked to several front desk attendants and they were all rude. When we asked to get our hilton honors to be added in our stay, the lady "was too busy" to help. Another attendant, we asked for towels; the lady gave us an "annoyed sigh" like it we were an inconvenient for staying here. Apparently they only have two luggage carts, according to the lady we talked to. We were staying for a week so we had a ton of luggage and no one even offered a solution for that. We called the front desk and asked what are places that delivers food here, she said "there's an emergency here, can't help you. " when asked what the emergency was she couldn't answer. When you ask any front desk attendants anything, they either don't know the answer or too annoyed to help you. If you just want a place to stay for your layovers, you can stay here. But for a vacation, don't, it's terrible. If the management reads this. Please retrain your staff to act or even fake being nice to the customers. It really ruins your reputation as a Hilton branch.

We stayed there during Hurricane Irma, and they were fantastic! They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A big THANK YOU to everyone there. The Manager, and all the employees. They couldn't have been nicer. They provided us with everything we needed. Extra towels, coffee, and other items — always with a smile and a positive attitude. In addition, the hotel is very attractive, clean and pleasant. The pool area is also very nice and beautifully landscaped. I will definitely stay there again next time we go to Tampa.

Nice hotel, great location, near football arena. The lobby is spacious. I booked with the included breakfast and it was great food.

Nice location for an airport hotel. Staff was friendly, across the street from a mall and many places to eat. One of my complaints was the elevators. Only one was working so that's a bit annoying. Plus the staff didn't say only one was working. Nice room size. My biggest complaint was my $18 breakfast. It was horrible and the server was very slow. There were only 2 other people there for breakfast and it took her 15 minutes just to bring me a water I had to ask twice for. I was disappointed in the pancakes, it's buttermilk pancakes… how do you mess that up!

Too much light in the room. Lobby is beautiful. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom needed cleaned. Shower takes a few minutes to figure out. Worth the price.

While you can sorta tell that the hotel is older from the outside look to it, it makes up with its interior. Everything looks brand new. The pool is big with a hot tub and plenty of seats. The gym is large enough for a few people to be in comfortably. The staff was professional and caring. Only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom was quite small in my room.

You can immediately tell that this hotel is in desperate need of a massive renervation just by looking at it but the full impact of how bad it actually is can only be realized from inside of the rooms. In my second night there I was awakened by the putrid smell of raw sewage permeating my entire room at 4am. The nauseating smell forced me to call the front desk to request a new room which to their credit they immediately helped with. The security guard that dropped off the key to the new room was so sickened by the smell she was forced to plug her nose while gagging at the door. After entering the new room I discovered that the toilet had no water in it and the box spring on one of the beds was broken. If all this wasn't bad enough, in the morning I discovered that there was a large hole in the ceiling of the shower dripping brackish water into the tub that I can only assume was more sewage. The staggering thing was this new room was a floor above the old one and on the other side of the building and was also experiencing a sewage problem. I would recommend everyone look for other hotels in the area until this Hilton can fix it egregious maintenance problems.

Stayed here last night. Great experience. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Enjoyed the executive lounge. Great bonus to the whole experience! Definitely coming again.

Do not stay here. Nasty. Filthy. No customer service. Checked into my room and had to walk right back out. Bed was slept in, other bed was a mess. I'm never staying here again. Second room only marginally better.

Stayed one night for business. Hotel is ok — room was not great — took hours to cool off — was 79 degrees when I walked in originally. Ordered a $27 chicken entrée for dinner from room service and what showed was a box lunch pre-made micro wave way over cooked piece of meat. Quality was similar to something you could get at a gas station or used to re-sole shoes. Absolutely ridiculous. Told the desk and they said all Hilton hotels are going this way — no real restaurants anymore. If true, never stay at a Hilton again — Marriott is the only way to go.

Had a company meeting at the hotel and stayed a night. From the time I got there, the front desk associates were so pleasant, meet the manager and he had me laughing. We also ordered food there for the meeting, lunch was in a box which consists of a sandwich, fruit, cookie and chips then we had a buffet which was pretty good. At night we went to have a glass of wine at the bar. The bartender had lots of jokes and had us laughing so hard. He was amazing and the drinks were on point. The rooms were so clean and roomy. It was a pleasure staying here.

Guest services associates somewhat rude and untrained. Guest rooms a little on the small side and bathrooms were tiny and falling apart in area but we're clean and smelled fresh. Bed were comfy and linens were nice.

Went to this hotel for 10 years about 8 times a year. Since Elizabeth Settle Buisness Travel sales took over and the GM Mr Hansen this hotel has no loyality to their long term customers. They will book the whole hotel and will not even try to help you find another one. Ms Settle actually laughed at me when I asked if she could help me since I have been coming to the hotel for over 10 years. When I brought it up to the GM Mr Hansen he basically did nothing to correct the situation. There are better more loyal hotels in the area. Dont give them your buisness. Support people that care about their customers not just about their profits.

This is a pretty nice Hilton that is conveniently located near downtown, the airport and Cigar City Brewery! The lobby is very nice and the rooms are pretty nice, but a bit dated. They do have an executive level and offer a complimentary happy hour. The service was as expected and room was clean.

Visited the bar/lounge at the Hilton for a few drinks after dinner as other nearby venues were closed. The drinks were decent, although a large group in the bar were getting quite intoxicated and out of hand. This ultimately led to tempers flaring and small scuffles.

Rooms were clean. Price was high for poor food with high costs. Staff Was Non existant.

Unfortunately I was not able to stay in this hotel because they were booked for Saturday but I would have loved too! Great customer service! I am a customer service manager and the gentleman that took my call exceeded my expectations. Instead of just stating they were booked like the 12 hotels I had called prior he asked what I was not only coming in for but what I was looking for and stayed on the phone with me until he not only found and booked another hotel for me but since they would not have the shuttle service to the port I was looking for gave me the name and number to a service we could use. Sorry I missed his name but if the rest of the staff here is anything like this gentelman you WANT to stay here!

Excellent Hilton. Has a Executive Lounge with a real breakfast (eggs, meat, yogurt, fruit, pastries). Very friendly staff.

This is our go-to hotel in Tampa. The hotel is comfortable as are the rooms and the staff is friendly and helpful. We appreciate that they have an executive floor and lounge. That is the added benefit that makes us always book this hotel.

Overall hotel seemed to be pretty modern. Rooms were nice as was the bar / restaurant area. Always nice having the executive lounge for HHonors members, though the (free) breakfast wasn't great.

The staff was extremely friendly but the rooms are old and the hallway smells. There was damage to two of the rooms that we transferred out of. The worst part of it all was when my wife woke up with bites all over her after our first night. The place looks like it could have bed bugs.

We came into town to watch the Zoomnations at the Lowry Zoo and stayed here for the night. So before choosing this hotel I decided to give it call because reviews weren't to great. After calling and expressing my concerns (being loud construction noise and pool hours) about this hotel with the gentlemen he assured me not worry. He stated that the building beside them was under construction and they only do work Monday-Friday and pool closes at 11pm not to worry. So after hanging up I went ahead and booked the hotel and continued the drive up from Fort Myers. Upon arrival, I noticed construction workers next door working on the building, not only were they working but it was extremely loud. If I hadn't already booked it online I would have just left. That's a horrible thing to do, to trick your guest. Wow! Once I parked and went inside the staff was extremely friendly and personable. I just so happen to get checked in by the same gentlemen who answered phone and I said "so much for no construction on weekends". He goes oh they aren't working, let me get you a real nice quiet room on other side. Are you kidding me you can hear noise as we speak. Anyway we took elevators up to room, which was beautiful and very quiet facing the parking lot. Beds and bathroom were clean and smell free. I was very impressed with our room. Since it was still early we decided to go swimming for a little bit before the light show.

The breakfast here in the executive lounge is real good. Other Hiltons have small omelettes with cheap cheese, but this one has good scrambled eggs and sausage.

First upon arriving to the hotel the staff was very friendly and professional. The lobby was clean and organized. I checked into my room flawlessly and proceeded to the elevator where there was a mildew smell as soon as I exited it then got to the room and there was mold spores in the shower. I was completely disgusted and discussed the issue with management and was comped my stay and offered another on them. They moved all my belonging to the new upgraded room and organized everything. After everything the new room and the staff diligence with attention to detail I could complain any.

Two weeks ago, I made a reservation over the phone to stay four nights at this hotel. Soon after I received an email that went to my spam folder and was not discovered until today, that my reservation has been cancelled due to an error in the booking. I received no phone call to notify me, and had I not been checking my spam folder for something else I never would have seen the email. I would have shown up and been stuck without a room at the last minute. The error was in a discount code I used, but was accepted over the phone with no issue. Apparently they came back later and decided that the code was used in error and completely canceled my reservation. I've never had this experience at any hotel before and they offered me no reasonable alternative. I do not understand how a code is working and accepted during the reservation and then rejected later. It is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Be wary of staying here, as your reservation cannot be guaranteed and may be cancelled with little to no notification.

Not at their best currently. Construction next door meant banging hammers at 8am. Renovation left lobby boarded up and electric key cards to rooms not functioning. Security has to let you in your rooms. Until they get these temporary problems solved, there are better options nearby.

Its my first visit to Tampa and the Hilton awesome. Great staff and shuttle service.

I travel a lot. But this hotel is worst ever! It is located near Tampa airport, 7 min away. I took me one hour to arrive from the airport using their complementally shuttle which is totally unreliable. You may well want to stay in one hour away hotel from the airport. You really don't want to wait for one hour at late night at airport after your long flight.

The Customer service from the staff was horrible. They were not friendly at all. They didn't let me use there microwave. I had to go buy a microwave to heat my pre made meals for my specific diet. The jacuzzi wasn't hot or even warm. The door locks barely worked around the building. The bathrooms were tiny in the "executive suites" I was told the only options I had for rooms was the executive suite and the hotel was empty. I definitely did not get my money's worth with this hotel.
