Ritz Carlton is a 5 star luxury hotel in Sarasota with excellent service. One will enjoy the opulent ambiance with its quality service. Highly recommended! My friends and I have experienced the Ritz Carlton here and abroad.

Way too expensive for my budget. But love the amenities.

Wow. Very nice. We did not know what to expect. It was much smaller, actually very quaint. Not the huge ball room like years before. We really enjoyed the restaurant too. All the food was very good. The staff was friendly and amazing as usual. I can not wait to see what is planned for New Years Eve…

The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota is a beautiful hotel with outstanding service! There is shuttle service to and from the beach club that runs all day. The beach club has a fun tiki bar with great drinks and good food. Had a wonderful stay!

Aside from the other tags, the one thing the tags didn’t mention is how wonderful the bed is. This is like the most wonderful hotel bed you’ll ever sleep on.

Its a strange time to be here during the COVID pandemic. They just reopened, services are slim but the staff is doing great. I’ve been coming since the day they opened. I absolutely love this establishment.

The staff are what make this location top notch. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating, from the valet team to the bartenders at the hotel and the beach club. Rooms are fine, amenities are great, and everything is very family friendly.

First class service. We stayed here for 3 nights with my young family. From the moment we arrived the service was amazing. All doorman and valets were incredible — I left my phone in the car and they ran it up to the room before I had noticed. Pool is great as is the beach club which has a shuttle every hour. Highly recommended!

They took amazing care of my family. Kids loved the kids club activities and the bell men. Hans was a real hit. Rooms are a little tired and I would guess they'll renovate in a year or two. Excellent hotel, will return.

We only used the conference area and dining hall but both were excellent. The valets were courteous and professional. Great location.

Words cannot Express the amazing experience myself and neysa had this past weekend… from the front desk staff to every person in contact with myself and guest was above 5 star experience… they knew my name to every detail about my stay to make our experience the best… (front desk) Angela went above and beyond her way to make sure my guests and I were transported to our birthday dinner when a certain situation happened and was not able to get our regular driver as well as t…he taxi company couldn't accommodate my party I dont know how she managed but she pulled it off! … she even called to adjust my reservation time… nick was one of our drivers and was awesum… by far one of the most memorable service we received was from the front vallet staff they were all awesum and considerate BUT Dean was our driver to and frm the restaurant for a special birthday… he was amazing… to think he is just a driver dosent exist… his courtesy and well being was amazing… he parked. He help escort the ladies including my daughter into the restaurant… made sure we had one of the top servers (blake) at selva restarant (highly recommended) he met with the host to let them know my party had a birthday! He then even sent an appetizer to my table courtesy of him for the celebration… Dean made my stay so memorable we will return for our next celebration because of his asset to the ritz carlton! Thank you to the entire staff that made this weekend an amazing one! I walked in a guest and left like family.

Took my fiancé here for our anniversary and she had an amazingly relaxing time! The spa is fantastic! The sauna, whirlpool and steam room are must visit spots if you’re staying here. The 24 hour availability for snacks and delicious food selection is the cherry on top. Will definitely be back!

Here are some pictures of the $665/night "Marina View" room I stayed at in May 2018. This stay was a terrible experience all around. As you can see this room's view is far closer to "parking lot" view than to "Marina view. " As a gold elite member I was expecting some understanding and resolution from the staff when I approached them, but they showed not a care in the world. Restaurant was outrageously priced. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this Ritz Carlton. If you're spending upwards of $600-$700 a night for a hotel in Sarasota, I urge you to consider other options.

We really enjoyed our stay! When we arrived we had a plate of cookies in our room welcoming us. They were good with the kids and gave them little toys which they loved. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were well maintained. We really liked Jack Dusty’s for dinner. The service by the pool was a little slow but still within reason. Great experience overall!

Upon arrival, we were offered s glass of champagne during registration! Enjoyed a few cocktails at Jack Dusty outdoor lounge area. Helen was our server and she was utterly delightful (and very helpful). The sheer presentation on the Smoked Painkiller and on the Smoking Jacket made them well worth the price. Snacks/apps were available that included pretty much what you would expect for bar snacks/apps. But a full dinner menu was available. There is a raw bar included in the bar snacks. The view of the grounds and the water are beautiful; and the lounge area, at night, has a firepit which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Thus far, our visit has been flawless! We'd love to come back again.

A very nice Ritz-Carlton on the bay. Quick ride over to Lido Beach. They actually have a beach resort, too, and they run shuttles up to 10pm. Great little tiki beach bar. The service is top notch. Hans was amazing and was quick to offer insider suggestions to Sarasota and surrounding beaches. We had an amazing stay.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. They have extremely polite and knowledgeable staff wether that be at the reception or the restaurant named Jack Dusty. The restaurant has great food and drinks, it’s also open late so if u wish too u could grab a midnight snack with the view of the pier. The rooms are luxurious with the beds are extremely comfortable and spacious bathrooms.

Went to Jack Dusty's best place I'd been too in a while. Service and ambience was delightful. Drink were ok. However the food knocked my socks off. I had the braised pork chop. Oh my God. Cooked to absolute perfection. I would have kissed the chef if I had seen him. I cleaned my plate and wanted to chew on the bone. I will be back.

Anyone rating this below a 5/5 has not been in the last year so it’s highly unlikely they are truly past guests. Ritz (at least in Florida) is setting trends and creating the benchmark what younger generation of guests needs. It’s a mix of old style unmatched service and luxury (and the beauty of property, of course) with unique entertainment experiences that appeal to thirtysomethings. Also, the view is fantastic and you can nonchalantly point out your balcony to all your friends who got the wedding group rate at the Hyatt Regency.

Top knotch! This is 1 of my favorite places to stay. My husband brought me for a birthday get away Weekend! He had never stayed at a Ritz before and he was very impressed! All the little detail and the extremely staff! I liked the little Easter Treats left on the door! Extra special touch! Along with cup that you left in our room I am assuming for my birthday! The breakfast in bed was out of this world! My husband had the Eggs Benedict and raved that it was by far the best h…e had ever had! The hollandaise sauce Beyond Amazing & the eggs were done to perfection & I had the Biscuits and Gravy! Oh my goodness delish! Thanks for such Amazing Weekend, you helped make my birthday extra special!

Tiki drinks and food was offered in the restaurant on the ground floor. Ambiance was great and romantic. A hardworking mermaid was sitting on top of the bar and smiling the whole time of our dinner. Impressive…

Luxury hotel in Sarasota where the super friendly staff go our of their way to help. Great view of the bay from our room. Loved our chocolate tasting plate on arrival made up of sea shells. Very comfy beds and top bathroom. Good breakfast in Jack Dusty restaurant which also has an outdoor deck. Nice fitness room and excellent location which also gives you access to the Ritz Carlton Lido Beach complex.

The entire staff was fantastic and very accommodating in all our requests! The room is very comfortable. Would continue to stay there when we are in Sarasota again. Only negative is the main pool at the hotel doesn’t get much sun, and the patio where you can have drinks doesn’t face the water to watch the sunset. The harbor is very small but is nice to look at.

My wife and I used the spa services today. We ordered basic salad and a simple chicken wrap. We paid $20 for the salad and $16 for the wrap. We were less than pleased with the value we got. The food was quite average and the presentation was not at all what one would expect of a well-known brand such as Ritz Carlton.

Beautiful hotel on the water in Sarasota. Kind and helpful staff, especially Nicole the concierge. Family friendly, with a great spa and gym. What more do you need?

Excellent hotel. Very elegant. Beautiful rooms very equipped. It has a beach club in Lido Beach which is definitely the best. It has daily transport and premium attention. The bathrooms at the beach Club are amazing pleasure.

Went there for drinks and dessert. The bar was beautiful. The patio looks beautiful but Florida was undergoing a major cold snap so we never really got to sit outside. The bourbon selection was deep and the cocktails were good. One minor disappointment was the key lime mousse something-or-other dessert. But, overall a very consistent Ritz-Carlton experience I'd say experience I would say.

Corporate Christmas Party. Lovely evening party with veranda overlooking pool, garden and water. Food was tasty — for hotel fare. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive.

Food was average from my past experiences. The service was fantastic. One of the servers, possibly manager went out of his to make me iced tea, which wasn't offered. That was very nice of him.

Given the price that was likely paid, the level of organization for the wedding was terrible. My son was the ring bearer. We were the first to arrive aside from the wedding party. No one, aside from the wait staff was anywhere to be seen. At nearly the last minute, a hotel staff person showed up but had no idea what was going on. He took me to the planner, who happened to be with the wedding party. I asked if the groom's parents were needed (rhetorical question) and the planner looked at her list, named them and said they were needed immediately. Off I went to go fetch them. I got them to where they needed to go just before the ceremony started. I was happy to help, but I certainly expected far better service.

I attended a wedding. Most of the event was great but I expected better. The wedding coordinator didn't tell everyone where they should be and although in the end it was ok it could have been much better organized. The hotel was beautiful and staff extremely nice. The food was also delicious.

Went for a wedding. Lots of great amenities and extras. Few things were mentioned that didn't happen such as water in car when picking up from valet and offering champagne when checking in.

The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota provides great service from the valet attendants to house keeping. The restaurant and bar is very nice as well. If you want a great place to stay I highly recommend you do. Plus the location is located next to downtown Sarasota so you have easy access to dining and entertainment.

Paid to park here which was very convenient for an event in the area. Upon arriving back to the elevator area to get up to the parking structure, I asked the older gentleman at the front desk if there was a restroom I could use because I had a long drive ahead of me and wasn't from the area. Dead faced he just said no and then looked away. It's a hotel so, I've got to believe there was a lobby somewhere. He could have said "in the lobby over there" or "across the street has a public restroom". Anything. At the same time I got into the elevator a man who was very obviously on something got into the elevator too and naturally got off on the same floor of the parking structure as me. There's no security anywhere so, I felt extremely unsafe.

Probably the most luxurious place I've ever stayed at. It looked amazing, the staff was very friendly and polite, the rooms were pleasant and comfortable. Really nice place, you get your moneys worth. Amazing views.

I attend the Ritz for a wedding. I was the maid of honor of the wedding and spent almost the whole day at the facility. The workers there were very kind. Another guest was yelling at our wedding party while we were taking pictures, and the hotel security responded promptly. Overall, a very nice hotel.

I was here for a conference so I used the conference facilities. The lobby is excellent and the services provided were high quality. Front desk staff was very helpful as was the valet. Wish there were an alternative to paying $8+tip just to park my car. Made it difficult to leave for any period of time unless I was done for the day.

I loved my stay at The Ritz in Sarasota FL. The staff was AMAZING making us feel like royalty after our tiresome flight. The room was polished, and the shuttle to their ocean side made it a breeze to enjoy a beachy vacation. The 24 hour service and pool was perfect for early birds and night owls in our group… a worthy stop in our summer vacation. Thank you Ritz! Your staff, service, and attention to detail was perfect for us!

I have not stayed here before, but in the three days that I have nannied here for a family, the staff here have been nothing but sweet! I can promise that every single person I came across acknowledged me with such politeness! I even got free coffee! A big thank you to the Ritz Carlton staff! (:

It is a beautiful place. The staff is very courteous. There are lots of activities to do with your kids. Your needs are attended to very quickly. I had an amazing day at the spa. The eucalyptus steam room is the best and so is Gabriella the spa attendant.

The beach bar has delicious but overpriced drinks. The blackened fish taco was awesome, but my friend's quesadilla was average. Good service from the beach waiters and waitresses!

The rooms are fantastic. I love that they have nespresso machines in the rooms! The beach club is wonderful, great service there. Food and drinks were way overpriced from the beach bar though.

Arriving for a large morning event, my car was immediately taken by a valet parking attendant. When I entered the lobby, a cordial employee asked what event I was attending and directed me. When the event ended and I went to retrieve my car, many people were waiting but a man in the lobby took my ticket. I only had to wait few minutes for the car, and several men were stationed in the driveway smoothing the way for outgoing traffic. I was greatly impressed by the efficiency, friendliness, and swift action of all the hotel staff (and by the fine quality of the breakfast).

Do not go to this spa if you have an accent. My wife visited this spa and after three mimosa's was asked to leave because the staff considered her intoxicated. She was there with a group of ladies and the staff didn't even have the decency to talk to any of the other ladies. They just left my wife sitting outside by herself crying for an HOUR while I drove over. To cap it off they then charged for the facial that they refused to give her. My wife was completely sober had no more to drink than anyone else in her party and when I asked to speak with the manager she came out with a 6'4" security guard after I waited another 10 minutes to talk to her. Thank you Ritz for ruining a wonderful weekend being completely insensitive and possibly racist. I will never again visit any of your "Ritz" facilities.

Great place to stay in Downtown SRQ! Ritz quality is always enjoyable and with a free beach shuttle to the Ritz beach club there is no better way to experience Sarasota.

We have our company Christmas party here once a year and it gets better every year. The staff is incredibly helpful and cheerful. The food and service is incredible!

This is where the company I work for hosts our Christmas parties. We have an amazing time every year and the staff at the Ritz always go above and beyond!

It was my first time staying in this location and I it was just perfect. I stayed at Ritz Carlton before but this one was my favorite so far. Everybody was super nice and helpful. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere.
