Very nice stay. Friendly staff, nice pool, reasonably priced drinks for a hotel bar. Very accommodating on my special requests as well.

Had a wonderful experience from Check in to ballet parking and check out and it’s close to the beach area. Although we were not able to use the e bike but it’s there to use if you want to. We enjoyed using the rooftop swimming pool as well.

Place is mint clean like new place is staffed with friendly staff of all races love the staff the place had a great view, on main St area to everything beach is less then 10 minutes away all main strip of restaurant are here. Love the pool roof top love the view love the lobby the lounge area outside. Met the manager he is so nice, professional he found me a luggage cart we went floor to floor together love him. I will always return to Aloft Sarasota after a huge hit all hotels, everywhere has been impacted let's have a positive, thankful mindset and travel, give these great places the business they deserve, show up with a happy face, positive attitude you will enjoy your vacationing. My husband and I went there for Labor Day weekend and this place is very clean, front desk was very attentive, valet parking always there. The gym its amazing, the pool on the 8th floor was also very accessible and neat. The beds are very confortable and the windows are set up to keep your room very dark, so the morning sunshine never bother us. The location is perfect, walking distance to downtown and the local bars, restaurant and shopping area. I will come back again.

The guy that works days at the front desk is horrible… stayed there five weeks went back gave them another opportunity he ruined it again. Found this really cool nice super sexy artistic hotel called art ovation.

Love that entire area of four and five star hotels clustered in area for choice of atmosphere. Good drinks in the lounge bar area not That cheap sour mix well mixed drinks. If you enjoy more contemporary hotels this would be your place.

Amazing and fun hotel. Pool is gorgeous, rooms so spacious. Good location. Walking distance to downtown Sarasota. Near Lido beach, longboat key and 5 minute car ride to Armand’s circle. Siesta key is about 15 min car ride. Greatly recommend.

Loved the rooms, they were clean and comfortable. All the extra amenities were a nice plus. The pool and hottub were clean and there were always towels at hand. Am coming back again just to enjoy the hotel.

WXYZ is a cool bar, minimalist modern look. The staff is great, the prices are fair. Good place to grab a drink. Sometimes there is a DJ.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed our view of the rooftop pool. It was wonderful to wake up and walk to the Saturday market and Wholefoods. Staff was great!

Everything made easy, by super helpful, friendly staff. Walking distance from yoga, great food, art, shops. Room was clean, comfy bed, and perfect desk space for work. Love this hotel!

Mandatory valet really puts a horrible damper on an otherwise nice hotel. All I wanted to do is park the damn car myself and keep my keys because this is America and I should be able to have the freedom over my own vehicle if I’m already paying $15 a night for parking at the hotel. I was told even if I could park the car myself I still would have to surrender the keys. This isn’t communist Russia. Its my car and I want to know where it is and have the keys in my hand whenever I’d like. It’s pretty simple. I’ve paid $175 a night for the room and the $15 for parking a night to lose a portion of my freedom… having the choice to have control over my own car. The ass backwards logic to enforce such a rule is impressively insane.

Excellent new trendy hotel! Very accommodating and clean atmosphere! Wonderful rooftop pool with bar and complimentary towels. I will definitely suggest to family and friends.

Hotel very modern. Excellent location. The only thing is that there is no parking. There is only valet parking and they charge 15 dollars a day.

Awesome hotel right there on the Sarasota bayfront within walking distance to 10 or more five star restaurants. I love to get out and jog the Ringling Bridge and causeway and Saint Armand’s Circle is just a short Uber trip. Lido beach Is also super close and easy to get to. … The team at the hotel remember my name every time I come back to visit, the rooms are clean and the views are spectacular!

Where to start? No self parking (we dislike valet). Horrible cancellation policy. Overpriced room. Bad design (elevators at one end) and pool area difficult to get to. Bathroom door in room is a rolling “barn door’ no lock, no real privacy. Lighting system doesn’t allow for darkness in sleeping room while lighted bathroom. No place to hang a hand towel at the sink. Overpriced very limited food selections at breakfast. —

If you're scouting for a fun boutique style hotel to relax at while doing business or pleasure, Aloft Sarasota is just the gem for you. We were able to scope Aloft out while photographing our groom and his guys getting ready for their wedding on Longboat key. Aloft Sarasota offers a unique atmosphere with trendy, tech-savvy vibes. The groom and his groomsmen had fun utilizing various settings within the hotel for pictures. From a roof top pool and bar, to the WXYZ Bar in downtown Sarasota, there's much to explore at Aloft. Also, if you have a precious little pet, bring them along, as the hotel is super pet friendly. Overall, Aloft Sarasota seemed like a fun and friendly place to invite your guests to!

Excellent location, easy walk to restaurants, bars, music, and the Opera house. Outside patio has fire pits and lounging. Lobby has music, bar and food. Rooftop Pool has Bar and views of the city. Beds comfortable without luxury. Rooms tight with limited closet space, but novel decor and design is attractive.

I truly enjoyed my stay. Location amenities and service 100% all the way. Absolutely awesome way to do Sarasota right!

This was a very cool hotel that seemed better suited for a young, business traveler than my husband and myself at 40-something with our two school-aged kids. The beds were very comfortable, and it is in an excellent location closer to a wide variety of restaurants. We found the hot tub too hot at 104, and the bathrooms a slightly inconvenient design. Overall our needs were met, we had a fun time, and the view from our top floor room was spectacular!

The workers are very friendly and the food more or less. But the rooms are not good for companions.

Nice common spaces, like the huge pool deck with bar, the lobby bar, and the courtyard area. Great staff, including desk folks, bartenders and cleaning staff. The gym was amazing, huge, and had everything you could want minus a rowing machine. One of the nicest gyms I've seen in a hotel. We did not appreciate the rooms as much. They were a good size, but like other reviews mention — there are some impractical modern touches. The bathrooms are pretty much in the bedroom itself, with a wall that doesn't actually go to the ceiling. The lighting is odd, with no good option for turning a light on during the night without lighting the whole place and waking everyone else. The walls are super thin, we could hear people opening their blinds in the next room. Overall, a good stay, but if you don't care about a great gym/pool area or a modern look — don't bother.

The bar and outside area is awesome with fire pits on the cooler nights. The rooms are modern and staff is very nice. Loved the pool to relax at and close to several places to eat!

Stayed here with my wife and two toddlers. I guess it looks cool, but the room was echo-y I couldn't turn on any lights in the bathroom that didn't shine on my sleeping kids. Bath area is right at the door, bed area separated by more of a partition than a wall that doesn't go all the way to the ceiling. Seems to be missing some no brainier features, the minimalistic styling interferes with functionality, in my opinion. Tile floors are cold. Tv was smallest of any hotel I've used. Sink drained slowly as if the stopper is partially engaged, but it didn't seem to have a stopper adjustment. No hooks for hand towels by sink. Shower is big, only feature I liked about the room.

Always a great place to stay when I am in Sarasota due to the convenient location and being in close walking proximity to many restaurants and nightlife. The rooms have everything you need (including a mini fridge) and the beds are super comfortable. They have a lovely rooftop pool, and a very spacious and stocked workout facility. Staff is always helpful, including the gentleman who works the late night shift. I’m sure I’ll be back the next time I am in town :)

I booked a reservation on Thursday, September 7th through the 800 and spoke with an agent. Told him I was taking 2 cats because the website I accessed stated Pet friendly hotel. He said there was no problem. Next day myself and my 2 cats (18 lbs and 12 lbs) headed to the hotel on a 5 hour drive and one hour before arrival, I was called by a manager and told that my cats were not welcomed because the hotel is only Dog friendly, which was not stated neither by the website I checked nor the agent. Even though Governor Rick Scott ordered hotels not to deny stay to customers with pets because we were in an emergency situation, this hotel still denied me and my cats stay and asked me to put them at a shelter. I could have done that back home if I was cruel enough to do that and flown out of state but I chose to be with my companions. I then almost had a nervous breakdown looking for a place to stay last minute. Luckily I found a cheap dump hotel to stay at, but I was almost left with no options. I will never forget the lack of human caring from this hotel, will never recommend them, nor ever stay there. This only happened at the Aloft in Sarasota, because after that, I left next day to another Aloft east of Florida and they were extremely welcoming, made the exceptions to accept my cats under the circumstances and had no problems with them at all. I gave THEM a 5 star review. They deserve it!

Checked in to stay safe during hurricane Irma. The staff is amazing! They are so calm and organized — very prepared. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The lobby/bar is eclectic. I am local so I'm not sure if we will have the need to stay again although we will come when the restaurant opens! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sarasota! Thanks Aloft management and staff!

This hotel was clean and fairly new. If you know anything about construction and the price they charge for rooms would make you laugh. Was not constructed properly as far as finishes go in the rooms and the shower was going fast. Rest of the stay was nice. Stayed there 2 nights over Labor Day weekend.

I wish they offered parking and a free breakfast. The staff was nice but the room was small. Location is good, right by the marina and lots of shops and cafes. The lobby and bar areas are also nice.

We recently spent a weekend in room 814 in Aloft Sarasota. While the location is excellent, the staff attentive and efficient, this hotel has hard edges — very uninviting spaces with cheap amenities, cheap Circle K type snacks in the lobby, insipid coffee and drinks. The design touts itself as 'hip' or chic. It's not chic at all. It's cheap! My wife tripped three times over a hard, jutting edge from the bed, literally cutting herself and almost breaking her jaw! The platform under the bed sticks out and is the same color of the carpet. So it's hard to see and easy to trip We would not stay here again.

Very nice new hotel with a modern look. Staff was friendly, the bar was nice but only had a few beers on draft to choose from. I didn't stay the night but would definitely recommend it to friends visiting the area.

Very clean and nice place Staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. They have a really nice pool on the roof and many games in the lobby like pool and board games. Drinks at the wxys bar are amazing, had a couple mojitos and the ambiance was perfect.

Aloft does it just right for someone like me. Laid back atmosphere, and anything you need like bikes, umbrellas, champagne, espresso, newspapers, etc… Just grab it and say the room # while passing by the front desk. A "no problem" hotel.

Very nice hotel. Good amenities and close to the downtown area. A few issues, the main was the phone would not stop beeping and it wouldn't make calls.

Pet friendly but not really pet accommodating. There really is no place to walk your 4 legged family member. Staff was great, rooms were clean and the doggie toy, treats and food bowls were as promised but missing was the bed for her. If you want food, it's bar food, ok but not really a meal. The patio area was nice and the pooches are allowed there but not at the pool area (board of health) so if you leave your pooch in the room and it barks, you will be asked to quiet your dog. Ours bark in unfamiliar places left alone so no pool time. I will go back at some point but not with my pooch… too stressful and inconvenient for the dog and you, there is just no place to walk them.

My mom and I stayed here for a mini vacation. They allow dogs so I was able to bring my puppy. All of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accomidated. Mom, me and my pup had an amazing time.

Expensive but the rooms are very sleek looking, not very practical for rooms with multiple guests though since the door to the shower/toilet does not close all the way and there's a frosted window to the shower through which others can see your shadow. Beds are comfy and the TV's are nice. Very nice ambiance! Great hotel for single guests.

The Aloft Sarasota is a great hotel that has plenty of room and amenaties to support a large social event. Great experience.

Perfect Hotel. I had a large group (14) stay at this location and it could not have been a more simple process to book. I can't properly express how helpful and available their staff is, especially Janet Hensen and Stacey Wagmiller. I have organized many meetings for executives and have had to get used to how poorly connected and unwilling to assist most hotel personnel are but Aloft Sarsota is different — It's a gem!

Bar staff was extremely un-attentive, poor customer service. There are better places to drink locally that will appreciate your business.

A great hotel, blocks away from all the fun downtown Srq has to offer. The lobby and rooms are modern and chic. And the rooftop pool and hot tub are clean, well maintained and have a great view of Sarasota Bay and the downtown area. Poolside lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a rooftop bar are available. This hotel is pet friendly and also has a gym. It is also an environmentally conscious hotel and rewards guests with a $5 voucher to use towards refreshments and menu items in the dining area of the lobby!

We went to the roof for a few tracks you swim. We had a good time, but there were few options to escape the sun.
