Some of the staff here are great and it's nice there is continental breakfast, however I'm writing a second review because after being here for going on 3 weeks my views on this place has greatly changed. Manager aka owners son can't be bothered to do his job when his father isn't here to make sure he does. Pool is always dirty and fairly gross, not enough chlorine to sanitize it and the filtration system doesn't work well. Housekeeping is under staffed so they rush through and skip steps and even rooms entirely. 1 housekeeper has gone from super sweet and friendly to snobby and looking down her nose at everyone. The breakfast is the same exact thing every single morning and because of the inept son of the owner they are constantly running out of things. Can't get mail half the time because manager won't bother to check in even when multiple staff members have asked him to. I have little good to say about Day's Inn except that maintenance man is super nice, 1 of the original office staff from when we first arrived is great, the rest are either brand new and don't know what they are doing because they aren't being trained correctly, or they simply don't want to do their jobs.
