As a Floridian this is our favorite dog-friendly beach destination! Our beaches where we live on the other coast are not dog friendly! Worth the drive. The staff here is fantastic! Love the home-cooked breakfast every morning. The area is so nice and quiet. We try to come here once a year.

Great location! Wonderful hearing the surf from your own private terrace! Great spacious rooms and so accommodating for our dog! We will be back!

The St Augustine beach house has it all! Great spot, beautiful location with water views, very clean, and puppy friendly! Publix is a block away and the staff is highly accommodating. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning.

Lovely rooms, awesome staff, and right on a dog friendly beach. The rooms are impeccably clean and they even supply special linen packs for your fur baby. Love love love this place.

This hotel has the friendliest staff and cutest rooms with the best ocean view and beach access you could ever ask for. Our puppies have been treated like queens and love the dog run and dog friendly beach. And did I mention the home cooked breakfast included in your room cost? I fully intend to stay here every time I come to St Augustine!

Amazing location; 2 minute walk to the beach with great views from the room balconies. Dog friendly — love that they provide dog blankets/towels and an on-site fenced in yard for bathroom breaks. The breakfast is delicious and is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Their response to COVID with order ahead and to go options for the breakfast were ingenious — I felt safe and still had all the yummy food. They had lights up on the outside of the building for the holidays — so festive. And they use text messaging for communications which makes it really convenient. Great friendly customer service all around as well. Stay here — you won’t regret it!

We had the best time! Super nice staff and a delicious breakfast every morning, homemade! Met lots of dogs and humans! Great restaurants within walking distance and a huge Publix grocery! This was our first trip with our pug puppy and it was great. St Augustine is pet friendly and it just makes it easy to take our little girl. Beach is close and we all loved it! Thank you SABH!

This wonderful Hotel really knows how to take care of it's guests. Every single employee there can't do enough to make your stay as best as possible. The room so tastefully decorated with a kitchenette and all that you need for that. The view changes all day long and each time is wonderful. The sounds of the waves will relax you like nothing ever before. If you want to get away this is where to do it. We can't wait to go back.

The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful and you cannot beat the view! the breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this gorgeous place.

We had our wedding on the beach here and stayed the night before. It was absolutely delightful! The breakfast is a must have. Too yummy to describe. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. Our room was beautiful and had great views.

This is a great place! everything is just perfect and beautiful. They offer beach towels and chairs, snacks and breakfast, and is very pet friendly. Every one is nice here. I would recommend this place to every one. Very romantic.

The St. Augustine Beach House has my highest rating. The accommodations were excellent. The staff efficient and friendly, and the location were perfect. I have stayed at many hotels around our great country and this is the first and only hotel which gave me a goody bag when I checked out. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

Me, my husband and mother in-law loved it here! Very nice and friendly staff, beautiful clean room, plus the ocean was just a few steps away. And the view was beautiful! We also highly recommend the food here! Good southern home cooking from a very sweet lady! The Whole staff went above and beyond and we will definitely love to stay there again! ♥️

Great location. Right on the beach. Staff are great! Doggie friendly! First floor looks out at the dunes… but you can still see plenty of water!

We had the most relaxing visit here! It has the feeling of a high end resort but the hominess of a bed and breakfast. Very friendly people and personalized service. Right on the beach, the dunes ate literally at the back steps. Better than ocean view! We were ocean front!

Not easy to find a dog friendly place that is so nice. Everyone is so friendly and excellent homemade breakfast each morning. Plus all the rooms have a view of the ocean.

Nothing fancy, very unassuming & down to earth. A lot of nice personal touches — home made breakfast dishes. Nice balconies with beach view. Dog friendly. Restaraunts within walking distance & Publix supermarket about a block away. Beach access is adjacent. A bit pricey but worth it. No major amenities, but very nice & friendly staff. Would highly recommend for couples or singles.

What a great hotel! It's clean, spacious, and such a nice staff. The hotel is right next to the beach and the view from the room is amazing; every morning you get to see the sunrise. You even get complimentary breakfast which can inude anything from eggs, pancakes, sausages, bagels, and again the staff were all so great!

Can't wait to go back! Waking up to that glorious sunrise (with dolphins! ) from a room that sits right on the beach and getting to take in all the ocean sights and sounds from a big comfy bed right beside the balcony meant we got to absorb every bit the beach had to offer even when we weren't outside. The room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. And I love the cozy beach house feel so much more than a big hotel with hundreds of rooms. It made it feel so much less crowded and private — like your own personal slice of heaven. So glad we found you!

I went to the beachby the hotel. It was amazing, great beach. Saw dolphins about 50 yards from shore. I would be happy to stay in the hotel, would love to live here for sure.

The cashier wasn't familiar with how the menu items were prepared. Toasted or steamed buns on the Filet-o-Fish. Asked for toasted, got steamed. Asked for no cheese on my Quarter Pounder. The meat was barely cooked, very pink inside. Instead of making it without cheese, the half melted cheese was scraped of leaving cheese on the meat and the toppings. Fries were nearly cold and were limp. The only thing that was right was the Tender Strips. They were HOT and fresh. One thing right out of all we ordered gets one star, and I feel that I am being generous.

What an incredible location. The space was well appointed and the view was breathtaking. You are literally just steps from the ocean. We selected this location because they are dog friendly, we're so glad we did, it was a great trip. The breakfast served was absolutely incredible. We will most certainly be back.

We had a great stay. The staff is extremely friendly and the facility was very comfortable. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast. The breakfasts were superior and Ms. Jennie really knows how to take care of guests. An enthusiastic two thumbs up.

This place is amazing! The rooms are nice, and have a great view. About 5 minutes to walk to the restraunts and the pier. You can hear the waves rolling and find sand fleas, a great place to relax. The breakfast is amazing, lucky it's free. You can rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. The next time I go to St. Augustine, I'm going back here.

We came here to celebrate our birthdays and loved the place so much that we stayed another night. The staff is warm and friendly and left us a decadent cupcake in our room for our birthday. Every room is huge and has its own private balcony overlooking the ocean. You can hear the rolling waves at night and watch the sunrise over the water. There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow, and you literally walk right out onto the sandy beach from the hotel. We were walking distance from great restaurants and were even able to have pizza and wings delivered from a local pizza spot after midnight right to our front door. This place is amazing and we will be back!

This is our yearly get away. Wonderful room right on Vilano Beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. So pet friendly! We highly recommend it.

The view is breathtaking… Rooms are clean and have ocean views. They are also pet friendly and are not breed restricted. He have a large dog who is always welcome here and the staff loves him! We stay here at least twice a year and will continue to come back. Also, breakfast is included and is truly homestyle Southern cooking.

I've stayed here three times and I plan to stay again when I go back to Saint Augustine. Its right on the beach where you can walk easily or you could drive down on the sand and park. It is the best location bar none. And oh the breakfast will never disappoint! The rooms are very spacious and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's within walking distance of a grocery store and restaurants. What more could you want?!

I highly recommend this place if you want to stay on the beach. Very nice clean rooms. Ours had a kitchen. Friendly staff and they have complimentary afternoon tea and cookies, and a wonderful daily breakfast. Also pet friendly. Will stay here again next time we are in St. Augustine's!
