Very clean. Smelled clean. Great breakfast. Very helpful.

If I could give a lower rating than 1 star I would. The door only had a deadbolt because the top lock appeared to have already been kicked in (I wish I was kidding. ) The room was filthy and covered from floor to ceiling in stains. There was mold on the floor next to the mini fridge and there was what appeared to be blood on the carpet and one of the sheets on the bed. The “Continental Breakfast” boasted a couple packages of mini muffins and prepackaged cereal. All of this horrible stay still cost me $170 for one night. The only positive thing I can say is the staff was very nice.

The rooms were ok, clean, 2 decent beds, air worked amazingly (our room was like the arctic), shower was refreshing, traffic was busy and loud (but that's expected given where it's located).

As collier this is our favorite spot to trap from since dirty left it for us so mant tricking emories with james dirty and amy and natalie yall have all passed each other around and around … ow back to the hineymoon tho right.

I found the place nice, quiet.

Front desk clerk was awesome at check in, very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Beds really comfortable. I would definitely refer a friend and stay again.

Dirty, old and dated. Staff would not follow rules of Diamond member services from Wyndam rewards program. He would not us an upgrade/ better room. Bed was dirty, cigarette wholes in the comforter. Big whole in curtain that was patched up with BLACK TAPE!

We have stayed here several times over the years, our favorite hotel in Panama City Beach! They renovated over the winter and the rooms look great. Very clean and very friendly, professional staff. The pool is always clean and our kids love it. We feel safe there and are close enough to the beach without being in the taffic. Plenty of shops around…

0 stars if I could. They are supposed to be Wyndham and pet friendly but they are not. The manager almost refused to talk to me face to face until I called him out of the little back room. I explained that the website said they are pet friendly but they have an intentional sign saying no pets. He talked over the top of me and instead of deescalating the situation he made it worse by yelling at me. I will never stay at the Howard Johnson hotel ever. I reccomend no one ever stay here they are rude people.

I paid over $300 for a room I wouldn't leave a stray dog in everything in the room was nasty the floors looked like they have never been cleaned the walls had stuff all over them I refused to touch anything in the bathroom it was so gross and the towels had long black hair on them. I call down to the office to ask for a refund the girl who you could not understand said she would change me to another room for a small charge because I already got such a good deal she couldn't give me any more deals! I said no I'm not paying for another @#$%%* room she said I needed to talk to her boss he would be in the next day so next day I call back to the office and had to argue with the boss man who was literally screaming at me on the phone for over ten minutes finally he agreed to refund part of my stay I said what ever and took it because I couldn't stand the thought of being there any longer. Don't waste your money here IT IS NASTY and the owners are rude as %*! $. Oh and the TV didn't work at all and only a few of the lights worked.

Filthy! $170 a night?, carpet, tub, top quilt, Filthy! Completely disappointed in Howard Johnson to allow the filth in just this one room. Can't imagine the rest of the place — awful!

Nice room with microwave and fridge and hubby walks with a cane and we asked for a bottom room and got one and beds was very comfortable!

The rooms were very clean and service was excellent.

No visitors allowed without a 10$ fee paid by the visitor of the occupant. Feels like mngmnt involves themselves too much in guests buisness.

Decent rate. Clean room. Mold in fridge, no battery in smoke detector and smoke detector was not hooked in to the hardwire. Quiet little place not far from attractions.

The front desk employees were very knowledgeable, charming and efficient! The room was refreshingly clean and aromatic! I was very pleased and will definitely be going back again! Especially for such a great price!

Clean enough for the fee you pay. Friendly employees. Location is great if you are coming for the beach, it's about 5min away if that.

Howard Johnson staff was friendly and courteous. Location isn't the greatest since it's right next the busiest highway in Panama City, but that also allows everything to be just a couple minutes away.

Rooms were clean and free of any odors. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Respectful staff! Only downside was carpet needs to be replaced due to regular wear and tear. Overall great stay for the price!

Howard Johnson is pretty good place to stay. The room was clean. The beds were nice. Everything in the room was working. Bathroom light had no light cover and the fan didn't work, but it didn't matter. Good service. They let us check in before check in time. All in all it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this motel.

Great it was comfy and homey.

We paid for 2 rooms and was woke up to gun fire outside our rooms. Didn'tgetany sleep. Horrible experience and they didn't refund any money.

I bin dealing with these same ppl for years. And this new place. I like it. I bin coming for the pass too month… And right now. I just check it. They loving ppl. And will take care of you if anything is wrong with the room… they try there best to make everything fit your comfort. When I visit pc. This the only place I stay… thank you Howard Johnson…
