This hotel lives through to Conrad Hilton’s mission I was spreading the light and warmth of hospitality around the globe. As a former Hilton corporate team member, I know what it takes to run a great hotel and deliver extraordinary guest service. This hotel does that. The front desk team is top notch, and goes above and beyond to take care of their guest. The hotel, guest rooms, common areas, and amenities were all extremely clean and well-maintained. My only complaint was that the restaurant was not open for dinner service. We were informed that the night Cook called in sick so the hotel decided to just close the restaurant. This was unfortunate, especially considering we chose Hilton Garden Inn because of the restaurant. Having said that, the front desk team was ready with some quick recommendations of great restaurants nearby. We took them up on one of the recommendations and left the hotel for our meal.

The Breakfast was very sub-par, food quality was not good at all. The service was horrible the only bright spot was William, hes actually the cook who came in on his day off when we were trying to eat Breakfast and he was the only person who was trying to get everyone seated, took orders, cleaned the tables, refilled the breakfast bar, while the other employees stood around looking busy doing nothing!

I was in town for a meeting, the location was easy to find and was about 25 minutes from Panama City Beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The room included a kcup coffee machine with 2 regular coffee pods 1 breakfast tea pod and 1 decaf pod. The room also had a microwave and a fridge. I would stay here again.

Completely unacceptable. I booked my room 1 day in advance. Usually I'm able to check in early but if not, that's cool. Rules are rules. I was told that my room would be ready at 3 so I planned my day around that. When I arrived the room wasn't ready. It was the same thing for a couple that was there before me. One front desk employee had mentioned the number of rooms in comparison to their short staff. I told her that's not our fault. After speaking to manager, I was told that it should be ready in 20min. I told her that I should be compensated for the inconvenience. She did offer a free breakfast but that wasn't going to cut it. I could've been elsewhere doing other stuff.

If I could give this place more than 5 STARS I would. No complaints here the bed felt like a little piece of a cloud from heaven. The breakfast next morning was to die for cook to order food and or a buffet so good. The Manager I think her name was Malinda was so polite she did everything possible to attend to our needs. The employees gave us tips on beaches, food and attractions that weren't mainstream. Thank You Hilton Garden Inn for haveing such outstanding employees, I think from now on this will be the only hotel conpaco I stay with.

Worst Hilton Hotel you will stay in and it is not even close. The hotel is extremely loud (right next to a busy train). Staff is not Hilton quality. The rooms are extremely outdated, and have that wet smell you may be use to getting in a Choice Brand hotel, but not a Hilton Garden. I stayed here with my wife for Ironman Gulf Coast in May 2018 and it was 10 miles away from Front Beach on purpose so I could get sleep in preparation for the race and post race crash… Kids in the pool all hours of the night, running the halls all hours of the night, train starts blowing the horn around 430am every morning. Not even a courtesy note or staff letting you know during check-in that the train is always active and expect to hear it rolling through all hours of the night. When I asked the staff they were not helpful and not friendly. When I emailed through my Hilton honors portal about the below standard of this hotel I got a scripted email back that was sad and pitiful. Shame on this hotel and staff for making Hilton look bad, over 20 years of staying and business travel through Hilton and this is by far the worst Garden Inn.

People at the desk were friendly and professional. The room and all other areas of the hotel were very clean. Would recommend.

Was there for a business meeting. The staff were exceptionally helpful, after their event coordinator advised them that "Yes, these people have a conference room reserved. " We were invited to have breakfast even though not "guests". I witnessed the desk staff greet and assist guest in courteous professional manner…

It was an altogether pleasant place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the room looked very nice. We had to leave early due to extraneous circumstances, but I would definately stay there again.

Nice… Just a little high in rate… Some solicitations… But in general nice one ride desk jockey, kept my card open charged an extra day, but, he seemed to have attitude, we left late 1pm after no room help, gave up. Got bill but it didn't close then charged another day… Other crew might be better.

Rooms are your standard reliable, clean, well-maintained Hilton property rooms. Front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating, and their in-house kitchen is decent, but isn't complimentary if you're not a Hilton Honors Gold member.

My wife and I, stayed here for a night in a King Room w/ Whirlpool. Great room for a get away for the evening. Absolutely no complaints about the room, it appeared to be thoroughly cleaned and fresh for our arrival. Staff was friendly and well dressed. I was able, with the Hilton app, to check-in before we arrived which made check-in as simple as getting keys to the room. The local area has a multitude of restaurants, both fast food and sit down, within a 0 — 3 mile radius. Shopping is close at hand as well only yards away from Panama City Mall and shops like Target and Lucky's Market. Whether a short stay or a week long business stay, you will appreciate what this location has to offer.

Hotel was located close to city and only a short 20 minute drive to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful during our entire stay. Helping us find local restaurants and family friendly activities during our stay. The room was basic and what I expected of a two queen bed room. The bathroom was disappointing and needed a deep cleaning. Rust could be seen around the door and discoloration around the shower tiles, also the wallpaper was peeling. The towels and bedding however were very clean and comfortable. The towels were large and thick! The A. C. Worked incredibly well!

I've been here for one hour and Im already contemplating leaving. I was greeted at check in, after a 6hr drive, by a very cold clerk. The second question after asking my name was "Do you have another card to pay with since this one was declined? " I had my corporate card out, which is the one I used to reserve the room, and he said "Oh you're going to use the one that already declined… " I said "Yes. This is a corporate card. It shouldn't be declining. " After a few lackadaisical clicks on the computer he handed me my room key. I arrived at the room to find it hot, not a big deal because likely no one was in it recently. Fine. I turned the AC on and waited about 10 minutes expecting it to cool. Nothing happened. I called the front desk and said "Hey, the ac doesn't seem to be working here… " the desk clerk said he would check into it and see what's going on. I am unclear about whether or not they have climate control access at the front desk, but he said he'd figure it out so I wanted to give him the opportunity to do so. Twenty five minutes later I called the desk again and he said "Oh yeah… yeahnn I have to check with my manager and I'll get back to you. " I gathered my things and went down to the front desk and asked for a different room. The same person honored my request for a different room as we're approaching almost an hour since my original check in. Thank you, kind sir.

Our stay was very pleasant. Staff was very kind, Room was extremely clean. Only thing we didn't like is having to pay $10 for a breakfast buffet (our daughter doesn't eat much and they wouldn't lower the price).

The location isn't far from the nearest beach (10 minutes). The rooms are neatly placed with TV, mini fridge, and a microwave. It's a welcoming atmosphere with the workers as they do their jobs in a chill manner and provide easy service as a stay-in hotel.

I liked it, it had a few glimpse but overall it was fine. The hotel has terrible cooks. Especially the one on Sunday fathers day. The bacon was cooked three types of ways 1. Raw 2. Half cooked 3. Over cooked all in the same pan. He burned the pancakes, and put the food on the warmer. He left the food without the waitress acknowledgement. I absolutely love the fact that they gave snacks and had a variety of things for small children. I would visit again but refuse to pay $10 for the breakfast.

My family of 4 made a VERY last minute trip to Panama City. I am EXTREMELY picky so when I say the room was great, take my word. The hotel and room was clean and the customer service was also amazing! I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to any and everyone.! Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is like 20 minutes away though, and a train route is right across the street so I had to deal w/ that noise, but not a deal breaker for me.

Very nice people working there. Quick and convenient check-in. They greeted me and my group with hospitality and even gave us complimentary water bottles when we checked in. Delicious breakfast. Looks and feels clean and well maintained. There's a swimming pool. I recommend staying​ there for sure.

Staff was great, only problem was we got woke up at 4am with military guys partying in the hallway, the front desk asked them to move away from the rooms, but they moved just outside the lobby by the pool under our window and continued all night until around 7am, when the front desk clerk being tired of getting several phone complaints from several customers told them they had to wrap it up. Don't get me wrong I support the military 100 percent. But we were there for a death in the family and had drove 14 hours the day before.

I almost didn't book because the desk clerk said it was 4-7 miles off of I-98. It was actually only 1.5 miles. That's a big difference after traveling all day. The food was good, but all 3 steaks were over cooked. In the morning my breakfast potatoes were luke warm at best; turned to cold before omelet was eaten.

Due to my waitress at breakfast and the meal itself I'm raising my review a star. I apologize for not remembering her name but she really made me feel better leaving the hotel. And finally the staff really do care and show it. Most everything was good clean but a few hiccups. First my room had been smoked in and in fairness I didn't bring it up to the front desk until early evening. They said they didn't have a room available then but to make it up they would put me in a jr suite the next day. Next day came but they put me in a clean room but not a jr suite. Don't promise then under deliver. My RSM had some issues on setting up for our meeting. And our meal service was quite slow on the first night. But my second room was perfect and they did comp my breakfast due to my room trouble. I want to give a higher rating but at this time I can't.

Went to get a room. Don't know if it was the service or my color. I stood there for at least fifteen or more minutes before I was asked "may I help you", no Hi welcome to. Then she said let me look and just so happen all of the room except the more expensive rooms were available. I came to relax for my birthday and didn't want to stay anywhere else, but ended up at a hotel that had good service but a bad location. I did like the Hilton because it's off the golf course and away from the rest. I'm getting older and didn't want to walk out my room looking at a street party.

Stayed the night for business. Overall service was good and everyone was friendly. The room was clean but a fresh linen scented "bomb" was left in the room and they forgot the bottle of shampoo. Only real complaint was the breakfast. While most hotels I have stayed at give a complimentary breakfast, the basic buffet here was $7 and was a less than impressive spread. Oatmeal, grits, and biscuits were the only hot options, no eggs or bacon. Everything else off the menu was $10. Given the limited spread and price my coworkers and I paid it should have been complimentary. I have no problem with paying for a buffet but make it more than what's standard and free at other hotels.

Called to have room cleaned and never came front desk needs to be trained, pretty sure girl was new. When I asked about updates to laundry (about five times I called), she kept saying I don't know, I am not sure. Never bothered to say "I don't know the status but I will personally look into it". Saw her just chatting with bartender when I followed up with laundry and again said she doesn't know the laundry and when she opened the door where the laundry people leave the clothes, she saw my clothes… So there, bad customer care would recommend staying at other hotels. Will check in on other hotels and see how the other hotels fare.

The rooms are nice, once you get one that is. The first room I checked into had not been cleaned, the sheets and towels were on the floor. Very slow service, it took over 45 minutes to check in the first time, and over an hour to get a new clean room. I was not upset, but the staff did not even apologize for the inconvenience and we're very rude…

Stayed here with my family for two weeks. The staff is very helpful and friendly. However, the rooms were not up to par. The two queen beds are not the standard adjustable HGI beds. Just normal queen mattresses. The bathroom had pink scum in more than one place. The walls in the bathroom and by the window had black mold growing. And for some reason I kept finding long black hairs on the room floor and in the dining room even after it was vacuumed. (No one in my family has black hair! ) The pool had broken concrete on the edges and a strange dark colored grease (? ) at the water rim. The staff was very personable and helpful, but this place is not what you'd expect from Hilton.

Really nice. We were there for Independence Day and the staff was very nice. There was a cook out with barbecue ribs, chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs with sides (potato salad, coleslaw). There was watermelon and ice cream for dessert. A really nice spread and a great place to be for 4th of July!

What a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable but the staff really made a business trip turn into a vacation. After staying for a week we really got to know the staff very well. The receptionists, breakfast staff and even the manager made this trip one that won't be forgotten. Every night there were freshly baked cookies that if in a rush will be served right at the front door (Thanks Amanda). The receptionists and bar tenders were fun to cut up with. There was never a dull moment in the lobby. We all looked forward to the freshly made omelets and bacon every morning. The staff definitely made this stay. We would like to especially say thank you to Derek, Stacey, Ron, Melinda, Samantha, Amanda, and yes even Cody for a great time. We will definitely be back. Thank you all again! -The guys from AL.

I called to make sure my cancellation went through when I cancelled online. I DID GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, and that is what I told the male named Randy on the phone. I know, common sense does come about saying "If you get a cancellation confirmation, it means it is cancelled. " But I wanted to make sure I didn't get charged when my reservation date would have come around. But Randy, didn't have the need to be so "smart" about it, because his exact words, in a hateful tone was, "Well, if you have a cancellation confirmation number, it means it went through, but go ahead and tell me it. " I was looking for it through my email, for not even 10 seconds, when he seemed to be very impatient, and about had it pulled up when he asked for other information. I understand, it is late and I am totally understanding of how tired you get working night shift because I dispatch for Police and Medical personnel. But I do not feel as if I was rude and did not expect to be talked to like I am stupid. I'm sure this hotel is wonderful and the staff is as well. I just wanted this to be addressed.

Hotel assume, staff great. If I ever touch down in Fl again. This is our place to stay. Thnx Panama City.

Place was very clean. My kids loved the warm freshly baked cookies every night. The only complaint I had was the Wi-Fi was very spotty. And some times I would loose the connection all together. But this could of been because we were on the top floor.

Didn't get to stay here but the staff is awesome, they are very kind and understanding people and I would advise any and everyone looking for a place to stay in panama city.
