I asked Mitchell, the front desk clerk if there was a room available away from the elevator. He gave me room 222 and insisted it was away from the elevator and "down the hallway. " After checking out 222, I saw it was the room facing the elevator! I returned and told him. He replied that I didn't know what I was talking about and repeated that 222 was furthest away from the elevator and down the hallway, away from it. I asked him if he wouldn't mind if I showed him. He replied rudely, "I am not going anywhere with you. " I then asked to speak to his manager and he said he was the manager. I then said that he was being rude and obnoxious. He then said that if I didn't leave the hotel ASAP, he would call the police. I asked for a refund and he walked away. I called the police and the kindly police officer got me my room away from the elevator and I had a good night sleep. Beware of Mitchell, he is the antithesis of hospitable and he's unbalanced.
