We loved our stays at this hotel… kids loved it and made travelling abroad so easy… helpful staff from the time we arrived to the time we left… thanks again from Meyer family South Africa.

We stayed there one night and the elevator was not working. We asked for additional pillows and they never delivered them. Although the location was good, the hotel needs to be remodeled. It smelled inside the hotel and the room. I would not rent a room here again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

It’s in a great spot. It’s only one street over from the beach. The staff is absolutely amazing. The rooms are great and comfy. I love the complimentary beverage they give you at check in. It’s also many things to do at this resort like swimming, tennis and yoga.

Great service and descent room.

Basic hotel. Decent stay. Don’t bother booking the package deals on the website. We were promised a free room upgrade but of course that didn’t happen. $30 resort fee but you likely won’t use the “amenities. ” If you’re on the go in South Beach then this is a great stay, but if you are looking for luxury and service keep looking.

Very poor customer service. Woman at the breakfast time very unpolite & not professional at all! Not very kind at the reception. Breakfast very poor, with plates & cutterly made of plastic! Furthermore: you have to clean your rubbish! in a 4 star hotel with prices of 4 star hotel! What kind of service are you offering to your clients?
Small swimming pool.
Hotel tax extremely expensive: it's compulsory to pay for tourist services that you won't use (it should be optional).
Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it! I saw at the reception other clients complaining. For their attitude, reception team seems to give a s**** when there is a problem.
Rooms are OK though.

Clean comfy beds small room but u not there for long. Lots of free water. Warm pool… 2 chairs on the beach. Plus 20€ if u want umbrella… cheaper to buy one from shop. Good bike ride-free — around ocean drive.

Start to finish excellent service! Room amazing. Drinks at the registration table… party from the jump. Everything was nice and the staff was also just as nice… and they right next door to the police station LOL Stay here!

I was excited about this hotel. I thought the designed was neatly thought out. Great concept. I didn't like that the hotel smells horrible in the hallways. This definitely needs to be addressed. Hotels should have pleasant, welcoming smells. This was not the case. I also didn't like that everyone didn't wear uniforms. I need to know that person who is addressing me is an employee. The rooms was ok and the hotel was only a couple blocks from the beach.

The staff was very nice, accommodating and friendly; they let us check in a bit early. The room was a decent size with a big comfortable bed. They also have great amenities in this hotel. They provide beach chairs and towels, a tuktuk shuttle to and from the beach even though it's only 3 blocks away, unlimited bottles of water, etc. Overall, it's a great place to stay and I have no complaints.

Very friendly staff. I've been there many times within the last few months and everything went smoothly except for the establishment downstairs. Their security was too busy socializing with others that me and my fiance were never asked for I'd and we had bought a drink inside hours earlier. When I decide to return to the resort later on, I wanted to have one more drink so I went downstairs I sat at the outdoor area and waited to be attended. After ordering, the security comes and asks me t on show I'd. I was bothered at the fact I had already drank there (inside), and was never asked for I'd until now. The moment I left my I'd upstairs! I went to get it and he denied my entry. Their loss not mine. I spent 200 two blocks up, and had more fun! Whose lost was that?

Booked this hotel for three nights for a party of 40. The staff went the extra mile to make sure we were well accommodated. There are a few buildings all lined up next to each other that comprise the hotel and give a true South Beach Miami feel to visitors. The restaurant at the hotel Employees Only was a hit among the members of our party as well. The team was easy to work with and very responsive in the planning stages. I'd highly recommend this hotel, especially for group events.

Just terrible!
I write this in hope of it Will be a wake up Call. Firstly. We are a Family of four, we ordered a family room (makes sense). The room is so small that we Can barely stand up. There are Two beds. (90 cm) for Four people!? Dont worry it gets Worse. There is no air flow at all, no vents or anything. Plus there is mold on the Wall?!? (See Picture). But at least we dont live alone. Beneath the Window is a Big ant nest (hurray! ). I highly suggest EVERYONE to stay away from this hotel. I would not even let my worst enemy live here.
Oh I almost forgot. Just to cover up the smell of mold they use the most awful air freshner. Its so grose. Please stay away from this rat hole Regards.

The king terrace suite is worth the upgrade and amazing food service by the pool!

Great boutique hotel in South Beach! Staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is great! Few blocks from the beach, close to all the crazy South Beach bars — but not too close! The lobby bar has character (Nico was a great bartender! ), and the pool area isn comfortable. The rooms aren't anything special, but they serve their purpose as a place to hold your stuff while you explore all South Beach has to offer. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed 3 days in Miami on our honeymoon and unfortunately stayed at this hotel.
The rooms are not bad but their reception is bad.
Just arrived we were charged $30 per day mandatory for service Wi-Fi, shuttle Hotel-Beach, umbrella and beach chairs, etc…
In the morning to go to the beach we requested the shuttle and they said there was no that day, at the beach the umbrella was paying and they were including only the deckchairs, at the front desk they said the cost was $15 instead at the beach they said that The umbrella cost $20, on return we went to the room at 15:00 and they had not cleaned it, we asked to make it clean and they said it was possible, we waited 1 hour in the lobby and did not come anyone to clean it despite the continual reminders from the Our…
Very poor service, you don't tease so customers.
I noticed all the rates on the web, but pity that those services that we paid for there were no data.
Not to mention the bathroom of the room, not even the term small is suitable: we could not move, we had to stay with the door open.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at Washington Park in the Taft building. We absolutely loved it, we did not want to leave! It was my boy friends first time visiting Miami and I’m really glad I chose to stay here. We had such a good vacation here and everything was so convenient. Anthony at the front desk was great. Gave us two extra welcome drinks and upgraded our room! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Only 4 stars because no microwave.

One of the worst hotels I ever came across. I wish I could give them negative ratings.! 1. The rooms were so tiny and cramped up that it feels like you will suffocate if your trip is more than a week. 2. I had made a booking a month back and when I reached the hotel, the front desk lady handed me the keys. I carried all the luggage by myself (no help from them, anyway) to the second floor (elevators not working) and I see someone is inside my room. I came downstairs and told the front desk lady. She had no clue that the room was occupied. She again handed me new set of keys and it was in another block of building. I carried all the luggage to the other building's fourth floor and even that was occupied. I again carried all my luggage to main building front desk. They were lease apologetic. 3. Free breakfast? All they have in breakfast in Juice and Bagel. Mind me, they charge $14 for breakfast buffet and what they give is juice and bagel. No eggs, no cereal, no milk, nothing.! 4. The hotel is more like a motel with all terrible staff around. 5. They say free beach towels and bicycle. Bicycle is never available. I stayed for around 4 days and not even once the bicycle was available. Beach towels? God bless you if you want to use those unhygienic towels. 6. I had free welcome drink and I requested in the start for non-alcoholic but still the front lady handed me alcoholic drink without informing me. Pathetic staff. Worst hotel!

They are in the hotel and wait to check. I am 9 in the morning and give me the room at 16 a shame! Besides I came back from the cruise tired dead and with bad stomach. I asked the room is very sgarbatsmente I was denied without even looking at me in the face I have already asked 50 dollars a day more than I have already paid for bail to be eliminated absolutely.

Very well located. The rooms are not very spacious. Very good cleanliness and attention. It is two blocks from the beach and the hotel takes you for free in a car for 4 people. Very friendly staff.

Everything you need for a few days in Miami. It is convenient to park in the public parking lot that is a block away to save a few dollars a day.

Just one night stay but we were upgraded to a premium room. The only quirky thing was the vanity is not inside the bathroom but in the main room, and there were no power outlets near. Newly renovated, pool looks nice, just small. Cool, varied outdoor spaces including a large rooftop in “Kenwood” building, the largest in this group of 4 vintage Art Deco hotel buildings known collectively as WPH. There’s a daily resort fee of $28.50 that was probably in the fine-print but I knew about it in advance only because of reading someone’s review who was unhappy about it. This might be customary so the hotel pops up as lower room rates otherwise; also customary is a daily hold of $50 on your card so be informed and prepared. It’s released after checkout and paying any hard charges. Great location and Elizabeth at front desk was cordial. Happy hour at the lobby bar noon to 7! We’ll stay again.

Inadequate housekeeping. No toilet paper when we arrive in the room. Forget to put clean towels or SOAP and even forget to clean the room one day. Minimal furnishing.

Had a great stay! My husband and I stayed for two nights. They accommodated our early check in and we received welcome drinks! We had no trouble finding lounge chairs by the pool, our room was clean and quiet, and they provided us bottled water (included in the resort fee). Air condition and TV worked great and we were really close to the beach. Also within walking distance to vegan food restaurants.

Beautiful place with beautiful facilities. Very well placed. But noisy air conditioning and pretentious bar.

I stayed in Washington Park Hotel South Beach from 4/18/2018 to 4/22/2018 in room 2209. During my stay, I began to notice a skin outbreak on many parts of my body. I initially thought this was maybe due to a food allergy or some sort of bug bite because Miami is tropical. Upon returning home, I immediately say my dermatologist on 4/23/2018 because my skin issue became serious. My dermatologist informed me that the skin outbreak was not a food allergy and was definitely bug bites… most likely bed bugs due to the appearance and locations of the outbreaks. She advised me to have my home inspected by a K9 bed bug inspector. On 4/24 the inspector detected bed bugs in my bed, in my luggage and in the area where my luggage was stored. I called the hotel after the inspection, and I never got an answer. I called back on 4/25 multiple times. I finally spoke to someone at the front desk and told her about the issue. She "transferred" me to her manager. The phone got disconnected in the process. I called back and spoke to the receptionist again. She "transferred" me to the manager again, the call looped back to the receptionist and then I was transferred to voicemail. I left a detailed message describing the situation and left my contact info. If you stay in this hotel and any other hotel, please protect yourself.

The rooms are small and the breakfast is very good.

Normally there should only be two stars, look at the bathroom how narrow it is, I would not put my feet back here.

While the location was nice, buyer beware, you are not getting what you paid for. The room that we booked over three months in advance with a king sized bed was not available (even though we paid for it). No mention of a comp or anything. We were given a room with two small double beds instead and basically told take it or leave it. The icing on the cake was when we went to the front desk to ask for water (which was included in resort fee we paid) and the concierge said they had none. Thanks for the sunburn, we will not return.

I stayed here over the St. Patricks Day weekend to visit the Museum of Ice Cream with my daughter as a reward for her getting straight A's and being accepted to her schools Honors program. We reserved a room facing Washington that wasn’t available when we arrived. There was no bellhop to help my family that includes an elderly man with mobility issues to navigate checking in or bringing bags to our room. We were told we could rent bikes to explore the city, but none were available for our entire stay. We were also told we could rent chairs at the beach from the hotel, but the location we were told to go to was the wrong one. We also Finally, upon checkout the valet took over an hour to bring our car around. After leaving, I tried for 3 days to get a hold of some sort of management at the hotel. I finally received a message from someone named Gabriel Perez who I have been unable to get a hold of since. After a snarky email exchange about my frustration of being unable to get a hold of him, he was supposedly going to call me last night 5/29 at 5pm to discuss the issues with my stay. He never did. I imagine if you're staying here as a young single person, this hotel would be fine, but attempting to stay with your family will not go well, especially if one member of your party has mobility issues and needs assistance getting to their room.

Great hotel for value for money. Surely if one does not like the casino is not recommended, but it is really in the center of nightlife. In our booking was also included breakfast (made in a lobby of one of the various buildings of the structure; not very rich but good). Beach and bicycles included.

Very good reception, quality room and location of choice, close to the beach of Miami Beach.

Clean retro rooms with air conditioning, TV and Internet access.
A car park is just around the corner.
The hotel also offers a valet service which I would like to take advantage of.
An extensive and delicious breakfast is served in the diner opposite.

The worst hotel I have ever been to. I landed at 8 AM and called before hand to make sure I didn’t have to wait till checkin which was at 4PM. Waited all day only to go to a room where the keys weren’t working. No room service and food is overpriced. Only thing good is t location.

Really enjoyed my stay! Room is very comfortable, well appointed. Staff was courteous. Elizabeth did a terrific job taking care of me as a walk in. I will be back!

The location is very convenient to walk to restaurants. The valet service ($42 a night) is not intuitive and neither is getting to your rooms (there are multiple small buildings). I asked the desk clerk to write down his directions (this number means the building, this is the floor, etc. ) but he gave me a blank expression and handed me a map. The rooms are small and you can hear the people above you! Was supposed to stay another night but chose Element by the Westin instead. For the under 30 crowd only.

Amazing Hotel Super Recommended!

Poor attention basic problems without solution.

Clean, lots of noise in the pieces.

Good central location near Ocean drive and the beach. Shopping facilities in the surrounding area. Good dinner (11th. Ggü Street). Rooms as far as ok, otherwise little storage space, especially in the very small bathroom. Room service not filled after its own toilet articles and equipment.
Tip: Accessible roof terrace on the 4th floor with seating and views to the Atlantic Ocean.
Please note: valet parking costs around $45 the day and by the order of the vehicle up to the ancestor is to allow for half an hour.
Conclusion: not a 4-star hotel, but those looking for a central location in South Beach, is right here.

Location was the best part. Room was very small, water in the shower dripped out with zero water pressure. The front desk employees never bothered to make eye contact. They simple read off their rules without caring to ask us if we had any questions, or even to find out how our stay was when we checked it. Check in not until 4, check it by 11. Valley parking for $45

My experience was great, first time and alone, although I never felt that I was alone thanks to the great person I met at reception Elizabeth, (friendly, respectful and devotes every time to all) who helped me in everything, the very thankful truth, the beautiful hotel! Spectacular room! And I do not forget Almalfi excellent person!

(1) $30 resort fee — this doesn’t include a parasol, what a joke (2) room had mould in it, see pictures (3) shelf on top of toilet broken so everything falls in the actual toilet (4) the bathroom is so small, I have no idea how most Americans fit in this loo (5) I gave management a chance to address these issues, didn’t even bother responding to me. (6) tiles in the bathroom are all loose — you can even see beyond the tiles — see pics (7) air conditioning is so loud, it’s like they’ve gone back in time to buy it — there’s no way you can sleep with that racket (8) the hotel is very noisy — whenever someone closes the door in their own rooms your whole room shakes like an earthquake on the Richter scale of 8. At best this is a 2 Star hotel with a swimming pool which is basically on the road — if you have low standards and don’t minding swimming on the pavement this is the hotel for you. The only good reviews I’ve seen are from the loft room. I assume all other rooms are rubbish (stayed in the premium room which came with free mould in the bathroom)

Really nice hotel in a great location. The concierge services definitely need some upgrading, and the lobby in our building was filled with a very nasty smelling air freshener. But otherwise, it’s a great place. Wonderful pool, really cool bar, lovely hosts.

Great location, friendly staff and well-kept hotel.
We spent 4 nights in the hotel. The staff was super friendly! We had a huge and cosy room. Bicycles could be hired for free and you got a free lounger on the beach. However, I wouldn't really recommend breakfast. Much better and even cheaper you can have breakfast in a really good diner.
My conclusion: I am glad to have chosen this hotel. On Ocean Drive, by the way, it's way too loud. On Ocean Drive itself, I would therefore rather advise against hotels. Thanks to all the reviews before that for the good recommendation. :)

Valet was awful. I requested my car 30 minutes in advance when they told me I should only need 15-20. My car didn't show up for over 45 minutes. I was late to an incredibly important business meeting. Then, the next day, the exact same thing happened even though they assured me over and over again that my car would be ready. They made a note in the evening to have it ready and it was still late. I even checked 45 minutes before I was to pick it up and they again assured me it would be there on time. It wasn't. Nearly cost me $100, 000 in business.

It Was a good experience. Just a 5 minute walk from the beach. The crew was nice and down to earth which I love. The room was very clean and up to date. Even if you arrive too early, they will hold your luggage so you can explore Miami til it's your check in time which was helpful because I would have hated to carry luggage around or waited there for hours because I had no car and just got off a cruise. I will definitely be using this hotel in the future and will recommend it.

I love, love, love this hotel! I've stayed here twice in the last few months and it's wonderful. They greet you with a delicious welcome drink and the rooms and toiletries are very nice. I needed a room a few days after Hurricane Irma hit so I checked with them. It was about 10:00pm and they had just reopened for business. The staff was so accommodating and did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay. I cannot tell you again how much I love this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon this Aug 2017. The hotel and room wasn't bad our room was very clean. One of the problems we had with this hotel is that they charge a $100 deposit for each night. We wasn't paying that because it's NOT worth it. I never been to a hotel or motel who charge that much period. However they did accommodate us with $50 a night still playing their self but the hubby and I was tired didn't feel like switching hotels we was just over it he and I just wanted to go to the room and relax so we paid it. I believe South Beach Miami get over a lot on the tourist and that's not cool. They also charge over $25 for resort fees each day, when they're not on a resort and for stuff that we're NEVER going to use and on top of that they don't have enough product to service all the guest at the same time. And if they're having a "event" u can't use some of the items that u paid your "Resort Fee" for so over all we would NOT be staying here again.

Location is great, right in south beach, walking distance from the beach and other shops and awesome restaurants. Room is very modern, kind of small but really you won't spend much time in the room.

Really old, classic Miami Beach Hotel made out of four buildings and grassy grounds with a small enclosed pool by the first building with nice chairs and towels. It's actually pretty elegant and has a grand, elegant feel in the lobby, but, like a lot of places these days (maybe it's because of the internet and the variety of guests it gets) lacking an attention to details. Seems understaffed too as most places seem to be. There's no pool attendant and it gets pretty dirty and messy out there with people leaving their trash, using the towels. They have nice lemon flavored water in the lobby and the pool area but it doesn't get replenished enough, the towels, too. It's a surprisingly relaxing and attractive pool area with a secluded, resort feel even with being right on Washington Avenue, but the pool is small and gets overrun with the children staying at the hotel which takes away the sexy "Miami vibe" and makes it hard for adults to use the pool, relax, swim laps, etc. The hotel might want to consider making the hotel a "no children under 12" property because the "family vibe" kind of ruins it. It has very stylish rooms, but a bit missing with housekeeping with odors, ripped drapes or straight up missing drapes. Again, it's probably because they're understaffed, they're rushed and aren't communicating with management so details get missed. AND "the Devil is in the details.

Very cool vintage hotel. Rooms to look have had been remodeled. Nothing super fancy but very nice and clean. We enjoyed our visit. Tip, Park in the public parking structure next to the police station. The rate is a dollar-an-hour. Valet parking at the hotel's awfully expensive.

I booked through Expedia and I had an excellent time. When I arrived late, they were gracious, speedy and accommodated my tiredness. Fernando was awesome. He greeted me with a drink and upgraded my room after sensing that I was uncomfortable. I honestly don't know why this hotel has only 2 stars. You can walk to the beach where they have 2 free beach chairs per room. It's 2 short blocks from Ocean Drive and the diner across the street has the best crab burger I've ever tasted. The room was clean, comfortable, safe, and spacious. It was a little loud sometimes at night but I was there during the weekend and at the end of the day, it's South Beach. I can't wait to stay here again.

The rooms are large and the pool is fantastic. You can rent a bike to visit the island. Enjoy delicious food and have tasty cocktails at the bar (try it: South Beach Swizlle). Highly recommend and want to return!

This hotel was breathtaking for the price that I paid for. The resort fee was $25 dollars for each person and it was worth it. It had bikes, beach chairs, access to chairs, & gym. It was walking distance from Miami Beach's police department and other main attractions, including the beach! I stayed in the loft, and the view was gorgeous, not the beach of course but a great view of the city as a whole. This hotel is obviously well taken care of, best hotel I've been in Miami Beach. Will definitely come here again!
