The staff are attentive, the décor refined and the rooms comfortable.
A small downside on breakfast that deserves to be more consistent and more diverse.
Otherwise everything is perfect just steps from the beach and restaurants…

I live downtown and stayed at the Shepley with my 7-year old son as a little staycation during a teacher planning day weekend. We LOVED it! Perfect experience from start to finish. I've always loved boutique hotels but this place really had a classy old-school atmosphere. The room was comfy and cozy. I've stayed at other hotels on the Beach but this one is far far above those others. The breakfast buffet was well-planned and attended — we loved the retro kitchen! We used the complimentary beach chairs and towels to go to the beach in the morning — was lovely. I had seen all the positive reviews and wanted to experience iy for myself — now I am proud to add mine to the bunch:). Excellent!

We had a very nice stay there, hotel is near the beach and provids beachtowels, chairs and umbrellas. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast super, you can eat inside or in front off the hotel on their terras.

I have stayed two times there, and recommend it absolutely. The hotel has a nice decor, the beds comfortable. It is very well located and are all very friendly.

We stayed here last week and it was wonderful. Gus was extremely helpful and gave us the perfect dinner recommendation.

We had a great stay at The Shepley Hotel! The hotel and rooms are beautiful and the staff was very helpful! The hotel is near the beach and to the main bars in Ocean Drive! Definetly recommended it if your staying in South Beach!

Its a really cute boutique Hotel with a retro charm to it. The staff was very helpful and treated us like VIP guests… They always greeted us with a Welcome Home when we returned from a day out. The rooms were as modern as they could be for an old hotel so that was nice. Just remember to open your room windows for some ventilation. I would recommend to others.

First of all. Beware of taxes in Miami (14%). The price of booking websites is not reflected.
Regarding the hotel, it is a small hotel, located in the art deco area of miami beach, very close to the beach. It does not have an elevator or parking, although it is very close to a municipal parking (20$24h). The rooms do not have central air conditioning, they have an individual appliance per room, which although cools well, at night makes an unbearable noise. Breakfast is included, but it is a real purpose, with very little variety and with a mini kitchen where chaos is made when there are more than three people. It is eaten in the same hall, with super-uncomfortable tables and chairs and in the passage of anyone who enters the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Shepley Hotel is a nice cosy hotel, beds are really comfy, but rooms are small, having the included breakfast can be a bit chaotic due the small kitchen area. But people at the hotel are really kind.

Spent 5 nights at Shepley Hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Complimentary beach towels, seats and umberellas are an added bonus. Excellent location. Hotel is clean and well kept and most importantly offers free Wi-Fi!

Small rooms, but the location is so excellent it makes up for it. It's right next to the beach; just a 3 minute walk to the warm Miami coastline.

4-day stay at Shepley Hotel end of may 2018. Nice hotel and very well located in Miami Beach. The rooms are not very large (especially if like me you travel with 3 suitcases to open in the room) ; cons the decoration is very successful. It's a boutique hotel. They managed to create a clean atmosphere instead.
The bedding is correct, however the air conditioning blocks that are old are suddenly quite noisy.
The breakfast is quite basic and there is enough room to take it.
The overall cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms is good.
THE most of this hotel, beyond its geographical location, is one of the manager who is called MARTIN. Indeed during our stay, beyond its incredible permanent kindness it was an endless help! On its own, by the quality of its welcome and its attentions of every moment it to greatly improve our stay.
If you come to the Shepley hotel, ask to be received by Martin! Many French hotelier would do well to inspire!

Just one word to define it… Excellent!
The location, the rooms, the staff, everything absolutely everything is excellent.
I especially emphasize Martin Mantilla and his right hand Ariel.

I stayed at this hotel from April 30th to May 2nd along with my family (we were in 4). Two queen size beds in the room, kept clean. The bathroom has a small sink but the shower is spacious. Breakfast includes sweet and savory, yogurt, butter, various jams, coffee, milk cereals… so wide choice. We always made it out and loved it. Good location, 15/20 minutes to get to Lincoln Road, 5 minutes to get to the beach, obviously walk. The hotel is very close to Ocean Drive where there are many locals. There is also a supermarket in the area, about 30 metres from the hotel. I mean, great point of support in Miami Beach, without spending a fortune. I highly recommend.

Nice location off the main strip surrounded by restaurants and shops that are open till late. Breakfast daily which is nice touch. Rooms are spacious enough but bathrooms space is very limited for your toiletries etc.

Excellent hotel in a strategic position at 50 meters from the sea and at 300 meters from the former house of Gianni Versace (now Restaurant hotel).

Good nice hotel with very friendly staff, perfect location, but average breakfast. They agreed to keep my luggage for 3 days with no cost and always willing to help. Definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here either side of our cruise. We were greeted by Jorge as our cab pulled up. He was extremely personable and informative.
We loved the decor and chilled environment of The Shepley that provided a haven away from the madding crowd (spring break).
The foyer always smelt lovely and fresh and a cup of coffee was always offered/available. We stayed in a different guest room on each occasion. Again, decor was very calming with fresh, crisp white linen and towels.
All of the staff particularly Martin and Jorge and the cricket loving man quite simply couldn't do enough for us throughout our entire stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

The suites are very nice, comfortable and well decorated but giving to an alley and not the Standard rooms are extremely small and without place of saved to the luggage, very friendly staff, good breakfast but little bit uncomfortable in order to take it into the living room where there is no place to support things.

Best value for money in the area. The hotel is very quiet, the staff very smiling and friendly, and the breakfast OK. Attention the parking is difficult in the neighborhood.

The best! The service is amazing. We landed really late at FLL and after an e-mail the day before we had a driver picking us up. Location is perfect. Staff too :) Rooms are great. Really liked the breakfast.

We take the biggest room in the 1st floor! Very well decorated, with a sofa, a huge TV and a Nespresso machine! Great bathroom with very good amenities. To return.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Shepley Hotel during Memorial Day Weekend in 2017. The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, providing useful information regarding local restaurants and attractions. I spent most of my days at the beach, which was quite literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel door. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a prime location right in the middle of the South Beach area. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of fruits, cereals, and bagel/toast. I'd like to give a special thanks to Martin Mantilla for making my experience at the Shepley fantastic with his consideration and suggestions. I will definitely be returning when I visit Miami in the future.

Great hotel, fantastic location and friendly staff. Rooms are right on space but it's surprisingly quiet for where it's located once you're in.

We came early in the morning and was greeted in the best way ever. The staff welcoming us did so in the most friendly and customer obsessed manner I have almost ever felt. We where tired but they just made everything so easy and good — thank you! The hotel is also very nice and and the interior makes you relax and feel almost at someones home. Now is day two and the good and relaxing and friendly atmosphere just keeps on! Great place and grate value for money, this guys are competing with hotels twice as expensive and nailing it!

Great price for the value! Very friendly stuff, clean and new rooms. We were there for honey moon and family vacation — the service was as we would expect it to be for a 5 stars hotel. We left with great impression and even gifts for us and kids!

Hotel delivered decant dessert to our room before we left for dinner. Delicious treat that we enjoyed after dinner. Hotel offers shuttle to area restaurants which we used. Excellent service. Repeat guest and always enjoy our stay.

The hotel is a few steps from the beach and allows residents to check-out beach towels and chairs. The continental breakfast was satisfactory but not extraordinary, however there's a Walgreens around the corner and it's convenient for small snacks. The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and welcoming to any questions you might have.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Shepley. The room was really nice, especially the bed (which is the most important) was divine. The location was grand, everything was in walking distance. Everybody was friendly and in a good mood. Breakfast on the little terrace was great. So was the design of the hotel. I would definitely book a room on the upper floor next time we stay at the Shepley: it's an old Art Deco building so you hear people walking if you are on the lower floor. Another thing that comes with sobe hotel bathrooms: no shelves or tables to put your bathroom stuff. A minor problem though.
