Stay here only if every hotel is booked in the area. If you just need a place to crash for a night, then it works. The motel may have been a boarding house back in the day. Maybe built in the 50s? Bathroom is just that. Functional… just do your business and keep it moving. Room was neat, just older and hint of musty smell. Towels clean, but super basic. Hardened immediately after using. Front desk and ice machine is actually in the building next door. Check in is at 3:00 and check out is at 11:00. At check in, they hold $50. If you check out after 11:00 they keep the $50. Unfortunately, this happened to me as this policy was unclear. They should have clear sign stating you will be charged $50 extra if you check out after 11:00. Don't pay more than $50-$60 as its just not worth it given the facilities. Keep in mind the price listed doesn't include tax or the hotel service charge. So say the room is $60, you'll pay about $85. Way overpriced and it's not really close to the beach. Also, it states they have free parking on site, but when we got there the front desk guy said they don't have any parking whatsoever. Very frustrating.

Great hotel and great location the staff was friendly and even let me check in early. I would come Back again with my wife and kids. Also across from the beach! Good trip!

Read this before you book a night. First of all the front desk people are rude and have 0 customer services. Instead of welcoming you worm and help you as fast as possible. Also, they are so sketchy that my bank refused their charge because they showed up as a scam. Also, they are in a lobby with some rental car agency that are straight up ass holes and thieves. THE BIG SHOCK, the room is worst than motel 8 rooms. The towels are the ones I use to wash my car. So small and hard. They barley clean your room … there so bad only their location is good.

First of all, the rate is way to high. No one knows what the hell they’re talking about there. They came up with their own rate about 30 times. The rooms are disgusting there’s mold on the ground. Cigarette smells coming from the vent no hot water and the shower barely works. Oh and to top it all off, they have roaches! Super unprofessional and simply disgusting. You’d have a better time sleeping on the ground!

This was absolutely the worse hotel I have ever stayed in! They do anything they can to keep your security deposit and charge you a arm and a leg for a 0 Star hotel! The Queen size beds are actually twin xl, and the room size is super small, smaller than a college dorm room to be exact! This hotel is way over price and the staff are very rude! The rooms are never clean nor ready when it’s tome to clock in and there are no refunds because they know they don’t live up to standard and the pics are deceiving! The day of check out our entire bathroom sink collapsed from the wall and hit the floor, they blamed us, although there is no way we could’ve broke a sink, the maintenance man attempted to put it back together and that still didn’t work! DO NOT STAY HERE EVER EVER! Very dirty and nasty! If I could rate this hotel it would be a 0/5, instead I have to give it 1/5!

I think no stars would be more fair in all honesty no one should stay there we had reservations for 3 nights the first night did not sleep at all in the morning wanted to check out and they would not give us a refund for the 2 nights that we are not staying but we said its worth it to move to a gifferent one inspite of loosing our money. We will let our lawyer deal with them. And iam calling the health Dept.

Hotel Carisimo. Bad boy. Lousy smell. There's No connection to the Internet. Furniture of the year 90. No maintenance. The only thing I rescue is the location. The slightest noise from the next room is heard. Bad experience. Covered tub. We booked for hotel Parisian and they derived us to the next door. They're the same.

Just the last one. A dump without the same. A cheek.

We paid a double room but had 8 square meters and a small bed, all without daylight and a questionable cleanliness. Another bad surprise: the shower and and, ES sanitary are common, and in a state deplorable… OK the price remained reasonably near reasonable for the night of December 31st, but still…

You do not have good toilet in the room, and less in the bathrooms.

Pros: — Cheap Cons: — Extremely dirty and moldy. My college dorm room is a 5 star hotel compared this place. Nothing has be cleaned or vacuumed in ages. — Employees were extremely rude and apathetic. — The whole facility smells of marijuana — Beds felt like sleeping on wooden planks. It's literally a sheet of cloth over springs. Furthermore, the bed springs are so loud you literally can't sleep. — It is so noisy at night. People are running up and down the hall and banging on doors. — Can't control the temperature. I can go on forever about how disgusting this place is. I highly recommend that you not stay at this place. It is not worth how cheap it is. I highly recommend those thinking about staying at this place to either spend a little bit more and getting a better place or just sleeping in your car.

This hotel is a scam. They charge you upfront, and have zero refund policies because they know that people freak out and want to leave when they see the facilities. Awful! Do not stay here!

Room was smelling of smoking. No free parking. Room was not properly cleaned and it felt like haven't been painted for a long time. The fridge was smelling bad like rotten vegetables. Didn't watch TV but some people were complaining about it too. Too expensive considering the room condition. The only good thing about the hotel is its location. It's very near to south beach and pubs etc.

It was the only place available. We walked in the room and almost fainted. So disgusting. Hair all over bathroom. Bathroom was gross. Bed spread looks like it hasn't been washed in MONTHS. Paid 400.00 for 1 night. Never again. The rooms are small it wouldn't take much to update the place.

Too pricey for the quality. Staff is really nice but the hotel is not very clean.

Cheap motel. The only good thing about it is it's location. The price is low. You get what you pay for. I would stay there again, but not with family.

I apologize but this place needs to be renovated. Definitely not worth your hard earned money. The beds are Queens size but I have a full size bed larger and longer than this bed. There is a moldy smell from the carpets. The towels and wash rags suspicious stains on them. The vents have black stuff coming out dripping along the wall. Lastly, I felt uncomfortable knowing that the curtains don't close all the way and my room window can look directly into the room of the other hotel. Oh yeah! And no free parking. You have to find it in the street and pay for it. The only thing about the hotel was the staff. Super friendly and kind.

This Was Bad Far As Quality Of Stay. No Cable But They Advertise Cable Tv But It's Just Regular Television Tv. They Advertise A Queen But Gave Me A Full Bed. The Room Is Small & They Taking Prepayment Before You Even See The Room. There Is No Air Conditioner In The Rooms It's Controlled By The Staff & On Top Of That You Have To Pay For Parking Which Is Another Twenty Dollars A Night. Sanitation & Cleanliness Is Not At Best. Other Ppl Hair Fociles Are Present In The Bathroom Shower & Toliet Area. I Would Never Recommend No One To Stay There & When I Checked Out & Explain That I Never Received What Was Stated In The Amenities They Ask If I Told The Front Desk & I Was Like You Change My Bed But What About The Cable? All Of Sudden Cricket Sounds…

The location was great but thats about it. The Front desk associate seemed very agitated when I asked her questions about the room and parking. I called the hotel before I arrived to find out where I could park for check in and I was put on hold. No one ever picked up the phone to answer my question. The rooms have wood floors which are nice but unfortunately you can hear every one outside your door as they walk by. If you are looking for somewhere just to crash for a few hours after a long night on the beach than I guess it's ok.

Terrible. They even have there own staff come and right good reviews about themselves. The only good reviews on here.

Did not stay at this hotel, but we were passing by one of their tenants (or employees) had the brilliant idea to grab one of our party's behind. If that's the kind of crowd they're drawing I don't want anyone to be staying here until they clean up their entire act.

What more can I say, bedbugs, bedbugs, bedbugs. After jumping up out of my sleep from being bitten, the front desk guy accused me of lying about seeing the bedbugs. He was very rude and didn't even try to accommodate or Apologize to u. Worst experience ever.

Unbelievably bad! I was in the room 10 minutes when a lady just comes into the room and says nothing. She starts going through the draws. I was so startled I had to jump up and push her out the room. She was in plain clothes and said nothing to us. If you were staying in a hotel this dodgy you would understand my concern with strangers walking into the room. I checked out immediately and called Kayak which issued a refund! The room is about 1 star out of 5.

We were shipped off to this hell hole after our other hotel overbooked. The Geneva and Parisian are 2 buildings situated next to each other. The Geneva does not have a front desk, so you have to check in and out at the Parisian. Once you lug your bags up the smokey filthy stairs, you enter your 3rd world rat's nest. The floor was dirty and full of stains. Paint was peeling. The bathroom was nasty. The mattress had to have been 30 years old. All I could feel were the springs. Everything was dirty. Everything. I was looking for a dead body to show itself. There was a party on the street and people were coming in and out of the hotel at will. No security and the door was made of thin wood. I got to sleep around 5:00 AM. At 7:00 I was awakened by 2 men arguing in the hallway. My Wife was too afraid for her life to sleep. Why on earth anyone would choose to stay here is beyond me. This is the type of place cheep hookers would bring clients. DON'T DO IT! Stayed February 2010, traveled as a couple.

The room was small, the bed was even smaller. I'm 6'2" and my foot was hanging off the bed and I had to share it with my 5 year old son, not fun. There was no parking, you had to pay $20.00 for valet parking, which isn't valet parking because you had to walk across the street (about a block away) to get your car. You can hear everything in your room, you can hear anyone and everyone closing their doors, walking the hallways, talking, etc. If you're a light sleeper like myself, do not stay here. Their continental breakfast, isn't breakfast at all, it's coffee or tea and pound cake, that's it.

The whole time I was there I was scared for my life. My girlfriend and I had gone up for Memorial weekend. The room were in reeked of paint (as they had painted the night before), there was one sheet, a foot print in the bathtub, the window was broken and facing an alley (imagine the terror for 2 females). The staff was RUDE, the maids were loud and always swearing (especially early in the morning). There were people gambling in the lobby which is attached to a car rental company. We overheard a young man claim his food was stolen from his room, he and the housekeeper's would be the only ones with keys. Our keys stopped working MULTIPLE times. The night before we had to leave there was a shooting on Ocean street, the street was locked down by police for over 12 hours making us miss check out time. Would you believe the gentleman at the front counter tried to not give back our deposit for 'checking out late'? After many promised threats he finally gave me back my $100 deposit in all DOLLAR BILLS! Then he had the audacity to tell us we had 5 minutes to get our belongings out of the room, leaving us to pack in the lobby. Never again in my life will I ever bring myself to even walk pass that disgusting sad excuse for a business.
