Clean hotel but you can't control your own climate and must bring a fan. Completely silent which left me with zero sleep and it was a bit too hot after I called twice to front desk they said they can't lower it anymore. Still way too hot and tossed and turned all night. Zero sleep. Bring a fan if you come here!

Not spotless, I had to
change the sheets and bedspread because they were stained. The cleaning was carried out daily, the bathroom was quite clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

It was amazing stay in this hotel. Very appreciate all staff for hospitality and service. Special thanks to Sasha and Cindy for did my stay better and comfortable. I very recommend everyone stay here for getting maximum enjoy from journey. Taste breakfast, clean numbers, great location!

My room was clean and had a great view, and the hotel was in a prime location. The staff was excellent! Happy hour is everyday except Thursdays but make sure you check it out and go see Kat the bartender!

I went on Memorial Day with all of Miami Beach full and at exorbitant prices and was able to find this hotel very comfortable and in the best location. The breakfast was normal.

Excellent service, location and services, provide water and towels for the beach free of charge! Spacious rooms, bedroom sector and a living on armchairs, table, also have coffee and refrigerator.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Everything was awesome. The rooms were lovely, the patio was a lovely catch an evening breeze, the service was lovely and the bartender has a very heavy hand during happy hour. We will definitely be back!

Great value for money 100 metres from the beach. In front of the hotel is the trolley stop that allows you to move at no cost. Quiet and quiet rooms, welcoming and helpful staff.

This hotel is totally value for money. I was looking for some budget still good hotel near ocean drive. This one I chose after seeing the review. I will be honest this hotel didn't made me dissatisfied. Good friendly staff. Clean room and bed. Even if you ask they will provide beach towel and umbrella. Public parking lot right beside the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby. Crazy ocean drive restaurants are just in 2 minutes walking distance.

I love this small friendly hotel! Camille the pregnant sweet at the desk, THANK YOU FOR TAKING GOOD CARE OF US! Anniversary celebration for us and with no regrets LA Flora will see me again. The rooms are not fancy like the beachfront but also not the price either. By far this is very comfortable little spot. Do not sleep on Happy hour with CAT! Cat, I hope she never changes! She will make sure you are enjoying a piece of Miami! Manager — I called the cool guy, praises to him for hiring these two ladies! If they aren't there when we come back, lol we won't be coming!

Nice option for a visit to south beach on the cheap. Clean rooms and a bonus happy hour with free you call its from 5 to 6! No frills accommodation without lacking in the necessary areas.

Value for money! My friend and I stayed at the La Flora Hotel in Miami. We got a great deal on the rooms. It was a basic room did the job, the staff were great! They also offer guests free cocktails from 3-5 I believe, not certain of the timings. Just be careful parking in the public parking space right next to the hotel as we witnessed someone get their valuables get robbed from their car.

When I contracted the hotel I was told it was with breakfast. At the time of arrival they dispatched with that by changes of policy of the company there was no more breakfast. So you should not proceed after one made a reservation. Wouldn't go back.

Great hotel. Best location, clean, large rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast is quite decent for American conditions.
Every day, guests can enjoy free drinks at the bar between 5pm and 6pm.
The price-performance ratio is unbeatable here.

Great service. Nice and clean. Rooms are small, but the price is great (for weekdays at least). Shower pressure is good and bed is comfy. It also has a mini fridge, which is great. Overall, I would stay there again!

On Collins Avenue and 12th Street. 1 block from the beach. BF included. Happy hour from 4pm till 7 pm (50%off) with free cocktails from 5 till 6 pm. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great stay here! Nice and polite staff as well. Clean room and bathroom, breakfast included and complimentary drink for guests at the bar downstairs. Comfy seating on the porch if you want to have breakfast outside and if you just want to relax and people watch. The only complaint is regarding the amount of cigarette buds on the porch and external area. Please add trash cans and ashtrays as soon as possible.

My first time in South Beach and my experience was great! The La Flora Hotel was amazing. The customer service was awesome! The hotel and rooms were very clean. Carlos Rocks! The location was great! When I return back I will be returning to this Hotel!

We are a couple from Turkey, visiting South Beach, Miami. We have stayed in La Flora Hotel South Beach between 20 March to 27 March for our anniversary. It was a perfect choice. We had a lovely time. The hotel was great, had a great locations, so central. Rooms big and comfortable. It has been a memorable anniversary for us. If we go to South Beach again, we will stay at La Flora again. We thank Ros, Carlos, Andy, Bobby, T for their assistance, hospitality and warm attitute and their surprise for our anniversary and we thank Kathy for her tasteful cocktails and white wine and always smiling appearance. I loved this place it was clean and I'm in the middle of all the action. It was my anniversary and they sent us a bottle of champagne. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

This hotel was by far the best hotel experience I had. The staff was AWESOME my bartender was lit and super nice. She was dope. Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds. They just don't provide parking for the guest which was horrible but over all they were great. Free beach towels and two free compliment drinks per guest.

Wonderful location and all the other reviews talking about the happy hour drinks, free bottled water and such are correct. Parking can be tricky but that comes with the territory. Across the street is a public parking garage anyway charging 20 usd per day. Only negative I would say about the hotel is the breakfast area is small, and the admittedly small outside terrace area gets monopolized by just one or two guests even though theres probably 10 seats in total just because of the way its laid out. Clean room, sincere and quick service, effective a/c makes for a lovely place to stay.

We stayed in August 2015-I loved this hotel! The staff was amazing! My husband and I got the chance to sit and chat with the manager during Happy Hour (Free Drinks During Happy Hour! ) She was very friendly and seemed to really care about getting to know us a guests! The front desk staff was very nice and accomodating. My husband and I arrived early and they let us check in early! They told us about all the local attractions on and off South Beach! My husband and I were there for my birthday/ our wedding anniversary. The hotel manager and staff came up to our room with a bottle of champagne and a personalized note congratulating us on our anniversary! It was SO THOUGHTFUL! I LOVED that personal touch! The room was clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was pretty large as well. I will NEVER stay at another hotel! I LOOOOOVE this hotel and can't wait to visit again!

Great value, spacy rooms, very friendly and helpful staff in a charming building. And the location! Couldn't be better. On top of that you get free cocktails at happy hour as a guest. I'd recommend this hotel to anybody.

I am a business travel, whom travels coast to coast at least 3-4 times a month, I have never experienced what happened in this particular hotel anywhere else. On April 9th, 2015 I checked in at La Flora in South Beach. I was very optimistic about my stay and every expectation I had fell short. It began with the front desk check-in staff being just cordial enough to get my credit card and ID to check into my room. The room was on the first floor, pretty clean, small but that was to be expected, it's Miami Beach. I took out some of my belongings, took a shower and exited my room with only 2 credit cards and my phone. A few hours later my phone started going off that my credit card (that was left in the room) was being used at a local gas station. I immediately called the front desk where I was told "If anyone is in your room, it would be you. I'll check it when I have time. " I immediately rushed back to the hotel, opened my room up to find that everything I brought with me, with the exception of my suitcase full of clothes had been taken. When the front desk was approached the night auditor indicated that "It wasn't his problem" "If you want the police here, you call them. " So that's exactly what I did. The policeman showed up and began asking me standard questions.

This review is long overdue! We stayed at La Flora Hotel last February and it was a great experience. John, Ross and all the other staff members were very attentive and extremely courteous. The rooms were clean and not noisy considering the the location of the hotel. The beach was only one block away and all the restaurants and main attractions were very close by. Great choice if you want to enjoy South Beach without spending a fortune.

HUGE beautiful rooms and a wonderfully friendly staff. Don't miss the daily complimentary happy hour where guests drink on the house! I'll definitely stay here again.
