Friendly staff. Rooms were good for the price.

Decent hotel, clean, staff is friendly, even let us check in early howver the rooms are cheaper if you book online… It was $80 for a king bed non smoking but tried to charge me over $90 in office. Good location lots of restaurants, Walmart, dollar tree, suwannee river right down the road.

I get this place five stars and five stars for one reason. The gentleman working the front desk you pay him a little extra money he’ll give you a happy ending that you’ll never forget.

We booked online on the way to the location. We arrived to find the manager pleasant, and ready to help. We got room 203. The ac was cold, and the bed was warm. Coffee in the room, plus bagel. Muffins and cereal in the office. I'd stay again.

My girl friend and I. Stayed four nights there this week and we enjoyed it very much.

The people are very nice and worked well with us on a daily basis cause we were broke down. Older rooms but clean. Big Rig parking. Numerous place to walk to and eat. New owners and excellent ro service. Plenty of space to walk your pets.

Very nice Econo Lodge on I drive. Chili's right across the street as well as a large variety of other restaurants and stores. Very nice manager and the rooms are exceptional for an econo lodge. Price is quite steep though.

Great hotel for the price. Clean non-smoking room with very comfortable king bed. There were 5 cute cats that live in the parking lot, and a cool table area under an oak tree next door where you can have lunch or a snack. Breakfast was limited as expected, but had juice, bagels, cereal, and microwaveable sausage buscuits and breakfast burritos. 10 mins from Suwanne music park, and several businesses within walking distance. Would stay here again, a very nice “cheap motel”

It was much better than I expected. You hear Econo Lodge and you think cheap. But it wasn't. The rooms are nice and clean. The reception area was clean and the workers were very pleasant. Definitely worth the money.

The dirtiest, shadiest, overseas indian owned, places ive been in awhile!. I went to walk my dog in the field/rv parking beside the hotel and ended up in a homeless man's front door step. They are so careless and dirty they literally have a homeless guy that's built a shack living in their lot! The breakfast was ridiculous. And either a crazy person/theif or possibly dirty housekeeper (after seeing the shack out back I wondered even more) entered my room when I left to walk the dog. I turned around and she acted like it was accidental and rushed off. There was hair strung all across the bathroom floor like the DIRTIEST mop in the world was used in the dark to clean. Smallest lumpiest pillows I've seen in awhile and they provided us with 1 decaf coffee, no regular and of course, there was none at the front desk. The sheets had hair in them too. The manager was conveniently unavailable. Don't stay here!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, well airy. The breakfast was very good. Good value for money.

Service is perfect. Beds not great, and pillows are scarce. But certainly worth the price for the area.

You probably need to figure on getting breakfast somewhere else. Every morning the breakfast offering is getting smaller. I guess the manager figures folks do not eat much by Friday morning.

Legendary staff service was the best I have experience in my recent stays. The rooms were well renovated and cleaned.

I stayed at Econo Lodge while visiting some friends. This hotel has received some negative reviews, but I see why those are in the minority. My stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff was super friendly at check-in and check-out, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very good! Will be staying here again when I will be in this area.

We stopped at this hotel on our way to Orlando, great experience very clean and comfortable. Would have no problem booking here again. Great staff service.

Does not even deserve a 1 star… we drove straight through from Ohio to this Florida location… because my aunt is sick in hospice… a 15 hr drive… this hotel was horrible, and our room was a double bed… one bed had black stuff on it we went to other bed and took blankets off, it was dirty, saw a dead bug, called and complained and nothing, woke up, saw another bug, got right out of there and complained, spoke with the so called manager and nothing, wouldn't give a refund, but 20 percent of an 85 dollar night is 15 nothing, not worth it… then the manager gets rude with me, and says never had complaint like that, I said then why did receptionist say exterminator was just there… I contacted the attorney general office, to try to get money back. Horrible place, do not waste ur time and money.

10 hour overlay from driving the truck. Rooms were clean and didn't take long to get a room. Plenty of food choices around as well and they have dedicated truck and rv parking in the back.

This Hotel is absolutely horrible & disgusting while taking a bath I noticed that the water was a different color when I informed the front desk he said a pipe broke in the morning. When I explained that I was upset because the water could make me sick he told me if I want to leave I could leave! I hate this place and will be filing a report with the health department.

Maintenance just walked into my room. I'm supposed to be safe behind locked door and it was quite a scare when someone knocks and doesn't wait for you to open the door.

We got 3 rooms and all 3 were good! The only thing I'd complain about is the pillows. They are super thin! About 3 pillows equal 1 normal pillow and they didn't have any extra ones we could use. All in all I'd stay here again!

Lost my wedding ring here. Worst staff ever. Crack heads probably took it to the pawn shop. Very disgusted and ashamed of this place.

Although we were unsatisfied with the accommodations they willing refunded our unused nights without question.

I'm from Texas and this is one of the nicest place to go to we forgot something and they called us that we left something… would love to stop here if I ever come back.

Clean, cool and good for a quick stay. The owner is not white so I'm not sure if the racists stories are true. I stayed somewhere else before which was a super nice place. There was a large group of kids staying also which were rowdy and disturbing. There's two sides to every story is all I'm saying and the current owner is not white (not sure if they changed owners) but he had no problem with my adopted black son and was actually really nice to us.

I stayed at the Live Oak, Florida location. I stayed for two days. My experience was fair. The room was okay for the price. The television in the room was an old tube television. Besides that everything else was what I expected.

Don't stay at this place, gf and I woke up with bed bug bites on our backs and that is where you should draw the line but the bad experience didn't start there. The room was clean on the surface but upon further inspection it appears that the maid didn't bother to clean the grime from the previous guest and even left the dirty rag from what they did clean.

I just read the article on how the Econo Lodge in Live Oak Fld. Treated the students from Flint Michagin. My husband and I are planning a up coming trip to the southern part of Va. We live in the north part of the state. I was going to stay at night at a Econo lodge. I will NOT NOW! There is no place for racism or bigotry in the motel / hotel service industry. Choice Hotels would be wise and prudent in yanking these owners franchise. Furthermore untill I read otherwise that something was done about this incident I will tell everyone that I know, repost this continually on social media and post on yelp, travelocity, Orbiz and other stes that do reviews of hotels and motels.

This place needs to be shut down! There is no place in the tourist industry for a place with employees like this!

Cockroaches the size of small dogs running rampant. Bedbugs in every room. What a craphole this place is. Perfect place for bigots.

I live in Tallahassee, have friends who grew up in Live Oak, and travel that way on I-10 regularly, but please know that this incident means I will not be staying at that EconoLodge, any EconoLodge or any Choice Hotels. Jim Crow is dead. The manager and staff of this hotel (as well as the Live Oak police) need to enter the 21st century.

Disgusting, and thankfully, all over the news now. A disgrace to Floridians everywhere. A group of high school students from Michigan were touring colleges in Florida and stayed in this hell hole and were terrified for their lives. Read about it on the news: April 16, 2015. I lived in Florida for six years and it is experiences like this that make me never want to return. Shame on you, Live Oak.

To my Festival people. If you are attending ANY events at Spirit of the Suwanee in Live Oak, Florida be aware of your surroundings when outside the music park. It seems that racial bigotry is openly practiced and accepted among some of the locals. Have a good show!

Absolutely terrible treatment of my students past and present at this motel recently. Racism is, unfortunately, alive and well, at the Live Oak Econo Lodge. No one, in this day and age, should be treated as they were. Think about your kids and how it would make them feel! Shame on Live Oak and shame on the Econo Lodge.

My cousins, and other high school students came here on an educational college tour from Flint Michigan and were treated like a bunch of criminals because of the color of their skin. They did not do anything wrong. Why the unfair treatment? Why does prejudice still exist in this country? Instead of running a business you guys are acting like a bunch of Assholes. 1st time going to Florida & that's the treatment they get? Shame on you all …

Racist establishment. Treated a group of African American college students with hatred, bigotry and using racist slurs at them. I will never spend my money at this place and I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to as well. Shame on you Econo Lodge in Live Oak Florida. Shame on all of you.

A group of our student stay the night due to there bus breaking down… while there the owners n workers treated them terribly. Used racial remarks, was very unprofessional… we are strongly gonna sue this place n hopefully make them have to close there doors… we will not tolerate there racism…
