From check in to leaving, the experience was a pleasure. I'd like to address one specific employee, I believe her name is Shannon. She worked the evening shift on 6/2. My typical employee experience is almost always poor to average. This young lady consistently exceeded my expectations from getting us toothbrushes to a 9 volt battery and suggested where and where not to order from. I never exoexpec superior service from a 3 star hotel. During our stay we received Ritz Carlton service from this staff member. Facilities were well maintained, rooms clean and the breakfast attendant never stopped stocking and cleaning. Again, more than I ever expected when making a reservation in a small town.

I love this hotel! Coffee maker & refrigerator in room. Comforters are amazing. Breakfast is basic, but delicious. Only complaints are toilet paper is terrible, & mattresses are a bit hard.

Nice breakfast. Better than a continental but it was not included in the price of the room. Excellent service.

Thank you so much for our stay. My boys and I had a wonderful time. The staff was so nice. On Sat night, I accidentally left my drinks at the front desk and a very sweet front desk lady brought them to our room. We will definitely stay here again on our Lego land trips. Thank you!

Great location in Winter Haven. Stayed here while in town for work. Several restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were decent size, and kept clean and smelling nice. The service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again when I am in town!

Bed was really comfortable, room was clean and modern. Breakfast was great. This place was awesome for the price.

The hotel is nicely decorated for this price point. The double-bed room is clean, big enough and accomodating. Located behind some of our favorite chain restaurants and close to shopping and many amenities.

Its located in the center of everything! The customer service and front desk is awesome, very friendly and helpful! It has free breakfast (an upgrade to continental), a pool no jacuzzi, and weight room. The rooms are nice. We had 2 with double queen beds. And they have rollaways amd play pens. We enjoyed our stay. Only con was our fridge didnt get cold enough, and in our second room a hinge was loose on the cabinet where the fridge was. It didnt take away from the experience though. There is ALOT of restaurants in walking distance literrally! Walmart is across the street! Panda subway red lobster and outback to name a few. Banks chase and wells are close. Orlando is 30 min away and tampa about an hour. Legoland is 5 min away.

Nice and cozy. My problem was our sheet was on wrong side out. Made me feel like the room wasn't cleaned properly. Breakfast wasn't as large of a variety. The front desk was understaffed.

Home away from home. Easy booking, payment, check in and check out. I'll go back for sure.

The experience was amazing. The price was kind of high. The room and bathroom was beautiful. The breakfast was out of this world. I will be pushing all my business to Hampton Inn for now o.

Really great rooms. Great prices. And the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had.

Great staff pleasant, helpful and polite. Clean rooms well maintained. Looks like a new building. Parking is shared by another hotel, so close parking can be an issue but there is plenty of parking. If traveling with a trailer or large van style truck may be difficult to find parking. Other than this everything was great.

Not really up to Hampton's usual quality. No hot water, first morning. Had to go outside to a door that allowed us to use an elevator. Clerk told us our room was 302 and gave us access to 303. That necessitated another trip downstairs to straighten out. Room was clean and breakfast was very good.

Room was newly renovated, assistance at the counter was very friendly/helpful. Good location with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was fine only there was very little seating for breakfast.

I am writing the review for my mother and wife who are currently at this hotel as we speak. They had left the room prior to the maid coming to clean the room. When they returned my mother had jewelry that was missing and someone had gone through her suitcase. CLEARLY this is unacceptable and you should contact the front desk because they will help right? NOT AT THIS PLACE. Stephanie is the most unprofessional “assistant manager” I have ever heard of. I sat as my father was speaking to Stephanie on the phone trying to explain why it was important that she should know something was stolen. Not only was she extremely rude on the phone stating they are refusing to tend to their room because their employees are at risk, she also LIED to my father on the phone. Her story is my mother watched the maid as she cleaned and she spoke directly to her, obviously this is not the case and the fabrication isn’t even close to the truth. DO NOT stay at this hotel if you value respect and decency from the customer service or maid service. And I would like to add that if you, Stephanie, are reading this please feel free to ask for my contact information I WOULD BE GLAD TO SPEAK WITH YOU ANYTIME.

Not focused on the children when it comes to the TV channels. Channels that are presently being offered are for 12 + year old children. Please offer Disney, Nick Jr. This is important, because even though they show cartoons in adult swim it does not mean a 5 year old can watch.

Too bad I can't give this hotel ZERO stars and still write a review! I've stayed here several times in the past for swim meets, however, this time, even with a confirmation, my reservation was cancelled the very day I was supposed to check in, because of a "flood. " Yeah right… I don't believe there was a flood. I believe they overbooked the hotel and after they charged my bank card, they cancelled my reservation. I was told by Stephanie, that she had made arrangements for me, which she had not, and that I would not be charged anything extra — which I was. The other Hampton that she supposedly made arrangements with, had not received any information from Stephanie and to make matters worse, they too charged my bank card an additional $440. This also resulted in $70 worth of NFS charges with my bank. So, picture this — I'm out of town with my son for three days with no money for food, gas or anything else! Their response? I am going to receive 1, 000 Hilton honor points for the trouble! Wow — thanks a lot! I'm not holding my breath! When I called to ask why I am being charged even more, her response was "Well, ma'am we could've just cancelled your reservation and let you find another hotel yourself! " Wow — now that's what I call real customer service — I will never make another reservation at this hotel again — they overbooked and cancelled me after they charged my card, of course! ZERO STARS.

We checked-in very late due to a truck exploding in flames on the highway. I didn't expect the gentleman to be super friendly that late a night. However the next morning a few ladies were at the desk and were nice. The continental breakfast is great. The rooms are an upgrad compsred to other hotels. Super chic! Nice business center and convenient store for some must needed products. Laundry room is great for all those wet bathing suite and towels from your fun-filled day. On the day of check out the outdoor pool was out of commission for a few hours. The front desk extended are check out time so the kiddies can enjoy the pool. Area is surrounded by every store and fast food place you can think of. Great location & close to Lego Land!

The location was very convenient if you are going to Legoland. The staff was all very friendly. The room was clean and the restaurant was great.

Being someone that has worked in customer service for many years customer service plays a HUGE factor to me in everything. I am not the type to say the customer is always right, but allow me the the opportunity to explain my issue and that's exactly what the manager Stephanie did not do! I called and tried telling her what was going on with our card being charged again and she yelled and talked over me. All because of her I would not stay there again and hopefully for you guest that are staying there I hope you don't have to have any encounters with her! As a manager that was VERY unexceptable! If we ever chose to visit Winter Haven again I wouldn't care if their rate is the cheapest I wouldn't give this hotel my money! Congrats Stephanie on a horrible job well done!

Stayed for 2 nights. My second night there I went down to have a cigarette I went out on the side of the Hotel where they keep the benches at. On my way in all I hear is an argument and it was going on at the front desk. I'm guessing it was employees because I heard one employee say what's it to the next employee if money is being taken out of the drawer. It sounded like it was getting a bit intense so I just toom the stairs back up to my room. Other than that awkward moment my stay at the hotel was pretty good breakfast is good beds were okay nice size room.

Stayed here a few days ago. Front desk lady Anna was very nice and check in was fast and easy. Free breakfast descent size rooms, and access to the pool till 11 great stay. Housekeeping did a great job as well thank you all.

Room was beautiful. Comfortable beds. Customer service was extremely awesome. Will return.

Great location family friendly hotel. Breakfast is free and delicious! The room was nice and clean we got 3rd floor new renovated room. Chad and Anna were the two that greeted us upon check in they are awesome and helped us with everything single thing we request for from roll away to extra pillows then extra blankets down to my toothbrush that I forgot, they had it all at the front desk with a smile. At check out we had Stephanie she was very polite and nice.

First impressions are important, and this hotel nails it. The lobby is immaculate with a warm staff welcome and plenty of snacks to fill our road-weary tummies. AM breakfast layout was also wonderful.

Really clean and comfortable. Staff is always pleasant and informative. Great beds. The only suggestion would be is to have a safety bar in the shower. Breakfast is wonderful with all you could want. Drinks are available all day as well as popcorn in the afternoon and warm cookies in the evening. Lots of choice restaurants. Located behind Outback and Red Lobster. Walking distance. Great place.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Winter Haven while I was working in the area. I enjoyed my stay and didn't have any issues. The staff was attentive. My friend had an issue with his room door lock being loose and the staff fixed it right away. The beds were clean and comfortable and I will stay here again when I am in the area.

Just tried to make a reservation and was treated very rudely by the young man on the telephone. When I said something to him about being rude he hung up on me. I wouldn't stay here now if it were the only hotel in Winter Haven.

We staying 2 nights for Legoland vacation. Room Good service.

Perfectly serviceable hotel within walking distance to many restaurants in Winter Haven. Wifi works fine, does have upgraded services for Hilton Honors members. Offers a shuttle to and from LEGOLAND, which is less than a 10 minute drive away. Located behind Red Lobster and Outback Steakhouse. Parking can seem full but they have more behind the building.

Decent room and good complementary breakfast. We could not get on the Wi-Fi.

Smaller than typical hampton inn rooms. Bed has a metal rod that sticks out but is covered by the bed skirt so be careful if you have young kids. My 2 year old ran her leg into it and it left a good bruise. Breakfast was typical of a hamptonn inn and was ok. Only problem is that the lobby is pretty small so a lot of the seating is kind of thrown together. Didnt use the legoland shuttle so cant really review it. Only picks up 3 times over the span of 2 hours. Knowing my luck my kids would be ready to go at 431 so I would have to wait till 530. I used my hilton points and stayed for free so im not sure how much it costs. I personally wouldnt pay more than 89 bones a night.

It's decent. Food is decent. Room is decent. Exactly what I'd expect for the location and price.

Have stayed here twice now. It's a Hamton Inn, clean and close to Legoland.

We stayed there in October 2014. The staff was awesome. My husband put a note on the reservation that he wanted "enough pillows to build a fort" and boy did they deliver! They even had a gift bag waiting for my son with candy, snacks, a coloring book, crayons, an old maid card game, balloons and a flashlight for the fort. My son was so excited. Breakfast was great and shuttle to Legoland was so convenient :)

Clean, nice staff and good breakfast.

Staff is very friendly, but the breakfast is horrible. They have waffles with corn syrup. Scrambled eggs from the bottle and orange juice highly watered down from concentrate. For $150 a night I have seen much, much better places.

Great Hotel close by Lego Land, and the staff is great! The Breakfast was good! Love this Hotel.

What a dump. The place is outdated with tiles loose in the bathroom. The shower head barely works. The carpets in the rooms dont match.

We brought a whole team in for a tournament. About 10 rooms in all. After playing all day and looking forward to the kids getting some pool time, we were run out of the pool by the staff at 9pm instead of the pool closing time of 10pm. He was rude and uncaring. Kids were not being bad or causing a ruckus. When will places learn that poor service results in no return customers? I'm sorry no return of 10 customers in this case.
