Hotel is not too bad. Clean and service is great, but if you care about going to the gym or using a gym during your stay I might suggest trying another hotel. The gym in this hotel is a small room with one treadmill and one elliptical machine, that’s it. I didn’t even bother waking up at 6 am to go to the gym because there was always someone on one machine or the other. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Very comfortable rooms, a little strong air conditioning but easily can be changed. Well located and easy to find.

We have used this hotel many times over the last several years for our business trips to Lakeland. When we first started using this Hampton, it was rather old and outdated. In the last few years, they have renovated the entire facility and have done a remarkable job. The rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are very spacious and Hampton is very generous with towels, washcloth's etc. If there is one complaint, it is with the shower/bathtub. It looks as if they chose to leave the old tubs in place. They are way too small and with the added handicap bar, it is almost impossible to stand in a comfortable position. The rest of the hotel is always clean and seems to be safe and secure, The pool is very nice and well-kept and makes for a nice respite from the summer heat and humidity. There is also a weight/workout room that is nice and located in a safe area of the first floor. Breakfast keeps getting better and better with each visit. One suggestion would be to add breakfast meats to the menu. I. E. Bacon, sausage, etc. The staff is always professional, courteous and helpful and most of them have been around for quite some time. It's always a pleasure when the need arises to deal with one of them. If you ever are in Lakeland, this is the place to stay. Michael Franklin Admin Director AmeriPro Auto Glass.

Front desk could use a little more training in hamptonality. The breakfast attendant was super friendly and hospitable. Also, the laundry room only had two washer for the ENTIRE hotel! I was up in Orlando for a whole week, I was really looking forward to coming home with clean laundry but didnt get the chance. It closed too early and opened just one hour before check out. Really? :/ I asked the front desk and he said he had no way of opening it. Yet I read on the review that if we asked we would be able to be assisted on this matter.

This hotel was extremely nice and clean, the outside pool was very nice. The breakfast served every morning went above and beyond a conntinetal breakfast, had a very pleasant stay. We also got a AAA discount, very nice and reasonably priced.

I stayed at this hotel for business purposes. Sandra is one of the sweetest persons you will ever meet and everyone who works there is kind. The beds are very soft and comfortable, and the rooms are very clean. I would go again because of the quality of the service. It was a great experience for me.

We stayed this weekend. We checked in on Friday and checked out this morning. We unfortunately were put on the 3rd floor and that is where the smoking rooms are located. The smoking rooms are on one end of the floor and we stayed the opposite end. This morning when we walked out of our room, the smoke smell hit us in the face. It was horrible! We won’t be able to stay at this facility again unfortunately because of the smoke. The breakfast was good and the lady working the Breakfast area was super nice.

Room was clean, bed was a little soft for my taste but that's to be expected. Was too cold to use the pool but it looked nice enough. There is a work out room if you're into that but it was pretty sparse. Couple treadmills and some dumbbells from what I could see through the door (I didn't actually go in or try to use them). Breakfast wasn't anything special but not bad for being "free" motel food. The oatmeal was pretty decent.

A shame that they steal our money they are over charging 311 dollars more of what we paid and I tried to call and the "manager" very rude told me I can't do nothing about it we charged you already and hang up the phone… I checked my receipts and it only shows 311 for that night that we stayed there and my bank summary shows that they're charging me 311extra …

I didn't like that the door was locked when I got there, made me feel the neighborhood wasn't safe. Love everything else.

Nice hotel! Clean room, good breakfast, separate work space was very useful.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room wad clean and new, but there were no dressers or drawers to store our clothes. There was a small cabinet under the TV with three small wire racks that I guess were supposed to hold our clothes, but we are staying for 5 days and are forced to live our of our suitcases. Never saw that before. 3 simple drawers would have been sufficient.

We spent two nights here and were so pleasantly surprised by how clean and updated it was. Very nice decor, felt brand new. Nice staff too.

I always stay at this Hampton Inn. Its very nice, very clean, friendly staff, great location.

Whenever I visit Lakeland I always stay here. The rooms are very clean and they have a unique smell. The price isn't bad either. The staff is awesome. Bonus: There's an Applebees right next door and it's right off of I-4 between Orlando and Tampa.

We always stay at this Hampton. The staff is always professional, helpful and friendly (the maintenance man is a bit grumpy and abrupt but we take it in stride), and the rooms are always clean and fresh. They recently completed a refurbishment and the place looks great. During this stay, we occupied 2 rooms and utilized their conference room. It is perfect-sized for our needs but probably would not work for any meeting size bigger than about 20 or so people. This Hampton is a good value for the money. The only suggestion that I would have is maybe a better variety of vending other than only Coke products.

It was a very nice hotel, employees were pleasant. I will be back.

Rooms are very clean and newly refurnished. The staff is friendly. But the building itself is a little dumpy.

I've worked for Hampton Inn for over 15 years. Stayed in hundreds of their best hotels. Undeniably this hotel is one of their best.

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms were nice, clean, stocked. Easy to navigate. Location is pleasing. Overall, throughly enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is in the final stages of renovation, but only offer the already-renovated rooms, which is 5/6th of the rooms, the final 1/6th is being renovated currently as of 01/02/16. They are really lovely, really well done. I stayed in a single king. Crisp white bedding on a comfortable mattress with 2 firmer pillows and 2 softer pillows, a loveseat with TV tray, a desk, microwave, TV, single-serve coffee maker, and refrigerator (all nicely tucked in the wooden entertainment unit). Shower pressure was great. Neutrogena branded soap/shampoo/cond/lotion. Complimentary makeup remover wipe, and a note for other offered toiletries you may need. Plenty of towels, nicely stocked. Bathroom door slides and doubles as a mirror/closet door, but not the cheesy version you're imagining. It's very well-built, heavy duty stuff. The sliding mirror door is several inches thick, and the mirror is elegantly framed. They really made some smart choices in the renovation process. Friendly tip for fellow hotel guests: there's a chain adjacent to the wall for window blinds (smooth solid fabric version) that are a little too well-hidden if you're exhausted! Location is very convenient for North Lakeland. We stayed there since a family member was in Hospice just down the road, but it's near great restaurants and in a location that is far enough off the road to be quiet, but it is still extremely efficient to travel to and from.

Rooms are currently being renovated. Door did not when closed from the outside. Updated room did not have a black out curtain above the window with the air conditioning unit. At night the lights from the parking lot kept me awake, and then the sun would immediately fill the room as it rose over the horizon ensuring that I could not get any sleep.

This place is a great place to stay. Room prices are reasonable, the rooms smell so clean, like Fabric Softener. It's also very quiet, and right next to an Applebees.
