We love this place! friendly staff and a great breakfast.

Nice place, very clean, good rooms, breakfast available and ok!

Check in was horrible. Paid in advance for my room and called to see if they would still need to put $100 charge on card so I could make sure I had it if they did. Was told since I paid in advance they wouldn’t need to. Got here and they wanted to place a $100 charge. Josh at the front desk stated it’s impossible that I called, I didn’t argue the point and just let him run my card. He ran my card and put a hold of $20 on my card, he stated that the $20 wasn’t enough they had to have $100 on hold. He ran my card again and it placed a hold of $99 on my card. He decided to ask for special permission to let me check in?!? I pointed out that he now had $119 on hold and even showed him both charges pending on my bank account. He stated that he didn’t charge me $20 and he doesn’t know what that is and he only ran the $99 charge. We JUST had a conversation about the $20 hold right before he ran my card a second time. I didn’t leave and come back, we literally just talked about it and now he is insisting that the $20 charge from the Best Western that I’m standing in that just ran my card, isn’t from them and he has no idea what it is from. Considering my experience checking in I’m sure there is absolutely no way I called and was told that since I paid in full they wouldn’t need a deposit… Oh and Wi-Fi is so slow my son can’t use it and is currently running off my phone’s personal hotspot while sitting in the room.

Put a credit card on file for a room and told the clerk Ryan that we would be paying onsite. We were never told about a cancellation policy and that we would be charged $100 if we didn't book the room. NEVER gave any authorization charging my credit card and they refuse to refund. All while we were only booking the room for a funeral, as if that wasnt enough. Although while booking the room with Ryan was pleasant when we called him out on not telling us about a $100 charge, that's when he became unpleasant to speak with. Not only do I feel robbed of best western but 3 phone calls in tears wasnt enough, just as we are all struggling during this pandemic, I have a 3 yr old to tend to and this is just taking food away from her! Very displeased.

Right next to a train track. Many, many trains that night. Room seemed clean but smelled funny, then during the night we noticed diesel fumes. Ugh. Fairly expensive hotel to be that bad.

Small rooms, uncomfortable beds, unhelpful staff, dated facility. Seems as though this “hotel” is really just a “motel” that was “updated” using the cheapest methods possible. Won’t stay again.

True handicapped room BUT need a queen size bed instead of a double! Great breakfast and nice pool.

The entire staff were friendly and helpful, clean, variety of breakfast food. I would recommend it to anyone and I would definitely stay there again. I don't understand why the bar is not open at least on Saturday, not just Monday-Friday, bartender was very personable!

Very clean. Good price. Bed was comfortable. They retrieved a forgotten item. They put up with me as a very tired traveler. Even the landscaping was nicely done.

Hotel is very pleasant. Close to historic downtown, beach, nice pool and breakfast. Staff is great. Check-in staff was unbelievably accommodating even with my bizarre situation: I booked seven reservations for different days, from different websites, and for different room types. I also wanted a smoking room for only one of those seven nights, which they happily accommodated. Since I am an elite Best Western member, they upgraded my room to the courtyard side, which I appreciated. The dude that checked me in was also pretty handsome. Their bar is definitely a hidden gem that I took full advantage of, maybe too much! Always lively political discussions going on there. Anyway, this is clearly the place to stay for the majority of your trips to the Treasure Coast. P. S. I've seen some reviews that note the train noise, but to be frank it wasn't bad. If faint train noise softer than a car going 15mph down the street bothers you, I suggest you don't visit the East Coast of Florida at all, which has been entirely and necessarily developed along the FEC train line.

My concept of Best Western use to be cheap motel but boy has that changed. The definitely have done much improvement. Great price and value for what you get in quality, service, and amenities. Located 1 mile from quaint Downtown Stuart, this low-key budget hotel is 12.1 miles from the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center and 17 miles from Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The straightforward rooms offer flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, minifridges and microwaves. Wi-Fi and hot breakfast are complimentary. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, an exercise room and a casual lounge.

We stayed at this Best Western hotel to attend a family event last weekend and totally enjoyed our 2-day stay. ADAM, one of the Front Desk staff member was pleasant, respectful and amazing. When we got to our room, we received a call from Adam, checking to make sure everything was ok with our room. (Room was very clean and well-appointed) Totally above his pay grade. We have stayed at many upscale hotels over our lifetime, but never once received such a call. While the hotel is an older building, the lobby and dining room is upgraded nicely to reflect modern taste and a relaxed ambience. The two ladies for the Dining Room staff, Sat and Sunday, were very pleasant and helpful with topping up our coffee cups. We will return in the future. Overall… 5 Stars!

We truly enjoyed our stay. From the moment that we entered the lobby to check in until the time we checked out, we experienced excellent customer service. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, the food service staff made sure we received great service during breakfast, and the room service staff made sure we had the necessary items inside our room. Everyone made sure that whatever we needed, we received. The accommodations, the staff, the location, and the whole atmosphere was excellent. We will return.

Great stay! Very clean. Very nice staff from the front desk to breakfast buffet and housekeeping. This was my first visit of many more visits to come in Stuart FL. I will definitely keep this hotel on booking list. Thanks for a great week stay!

I would of have it 5 stars but the only issues was the pillows they are little throw pillow. Definitely not standard pillows for beds. Lucky I always bring my own. It's beautiful atmosphere and very kind people in Stuart florida. The hotel is nice nothing special just basic hotel.

The location is very convenient. I could get to all the sights in Stuart, yet I was close to main roadways. The service was fantastic. The desk personnel helped me plan my sightseeing time, offered me a map with places marked, and checked hours for activities. The pool area and surrounding landscape are lovely and relaxing. Possibly the best is the breakfast. I had juice, coffee, a toasted bagel, and FRESH EGGS (almost impossible to find any more), and there was lots more to choose from. The price was really reasonable, and the room was so clean. Also I used the Internet.

Very nicely remodeled facility. Have stayed here before and have never been disappointed. Front counter person was very friendly, efficient and courteous. Nice room with tiled floors and nice décor. Lovely pool and deck area. The breakfast is very good… clean, well attended to by staff with good food options. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

Very nice, clean and well maintained. Never had a chance to use the pool but in looked very inviting. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The breakfast staff where doing a good job of keeping up with the morning rush. They kept the tables cleared and the buffet was continuosly being replenished. One real nice touch was that they had real china cups for the coffee and one staff member even brought the coffee pot around to your table for a refill.

Stayed in a KING size room. The place is tidy and we'll kept. They offer free breakfast during the stay also give out complimentary drinks.

This location is a motel, which was not evident from the pictures or the description that repeatedly referred to it as a hotel. I was disappointed to find out there are no interior corridors or security measures to speak of. Our double room was fairly small, as were the beds and bathroom. The water in the sink never got hot during our stay. Although we had three people staying two nights, we received exactly one voucher for breakfast. The room was clean enough and the grounds were fine, but my experience fell far below my expectations for $190 a night.

Very very clean hotel, with friendly, hospitality the minute you walk in the door. The free coffee is always on and hot. They do serve food as well. They have a pool with the device to help ADA people. This is a 2 story hotel with 2 conference rooms. They do have a few smoking rooms if you request. The pool area has lounge chairs as well as table and chairs. They also have a small covered area near the conference rooms with 4 tables and chairs. Smoking is allowed on both the covered area's and the pool area.

Love staying here! Coming down for my 2nd week long visit soon! Clean rooms, awesome staff, enjoyable atmosphere!

The staff was friendly and the room itself was comfortable. I booked the room, even after reading about how loud the trains were, thinking I could handle it. The trains are much louder than I was expecting, and it did disturb our sleep more than I thought. I know the hotel can't control the train, but if only there was a bit more insulation in the walls to block the noise out somewhat. You could hear everything pretty loudly, from other guests to employees, and even the cars outside. The worst was the train, and I'm trying to not knock the hotel too hard for that one. If you're someone who needs peace and quiet, I can't exactly recommend this place. But if you're more of a heavy sleeper, and loud noises aren't the worst concern, this place will be fine for you.

What I expect from best western. Decent hotel at a decent price. The place was clean and the staff was professional and nice. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Nice convenient location. Hotel is older, but in very good condition. Staff is very helpful. My room had a slight smell like it had been smoked in years ago. But I have a very sensitive nose.

So our checkout is Tuesday and I must say this is a well deserved 5 star. They stay was enjoyable, the evening staff extremely nice. If I had to give a special thanks it would be to Adam who goes above and beyond for the customers and the woman in the morning I didn’t get her name but she always greets me in the morning with a genuine smile. The motel itself is really nice with a great location, room is always nice and clean. Pool is lovely and sits in the center with a gym if you love to work out as much as I do. I would recommend this to anyone.

Girl yessss! This motel is what’s up? The staffe is so cool and friendly. The rooms are nice and well clean and pet friendly. And girl they have a nice exercise room, with a bar and complimentary breakfast! And the pool is nice surrounded by a courtyard! Enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

This hotel is one of the very few hotels I have witnessed that is truly for the community. They were extremely gracious hosts to our linemen in the wake of Hurricane Irma. The staff and management went out of their way to make not only the linemen, but all of the guests and volunteers, comfortable and offer us any support we needed. They truly went above and beyond! Adam, Nikki, and Tom were professional, understanding, and just amazing all around to work with. I will be recommending any and all volunteers, out of state workers, or just friends and family to stay here. Thank you for your understanding, help, and patience in allowing us to hold our appreciation potluck party for the linemen. We are also especially appreciative of your impeccably clean lobby and allowing us access to the facilities while we were there! Kudos to The Best Western in Stuart, Florida!

We stayed during hurricane Irma. The staff was very nice and the view of the over flowing pool was cool. Room had a large mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The hotel lobby/bar area was also nice.

Great place great staff. We stayed 11 night with our two big dogs. We received a doggie treat bag at check in. Property was well kept and beautiful. Breakfast was very good and staff was so friendly. We would recommend Best Western Downtown Stuart to everyone.

Checked in @ around 1:00 a. M. After driving down from Canada. Was awoken at the crack of dawn by the housekeepers yelling at each other. So ignorant and disrespectful. This is a 4 star hotel. People are sleeping! The breakfast is excellent. Front desk staff was exemplary.

Good location, clean, quiet but the beds are small for two people. Damage.

Wonderful hotel! No complaints! Breakfast was delicious without than the average offerings. Staff was amazing! Always helpful and friendly. The location is great also. Definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed.

Tiny beds. Clean room… no wardrobe or closet. Nice breakfast. Stay off grass. Can not play or hit balls on grass… poolside rooms… have to request or u end up on parking lot side… nice lg outdoor pool. Fridge and microwave in room… staff seems friendly unless you request too many towels… very humid in Florida.

Great, friendly and helpful staff. Room was renovated and very clean. There is not an elevator to second floor, but the climb is not too bad with luggage. Clean and nice pool. Close to downtown area and beaches. Will definitely stay again in future.

lice, bugs, rude would not help or fix, contacted complaint department nothing done, several reviews on their Facebook reviews had same problems / best western stayed in July room 101. Me and my family caught lice and several bed bugs. It 3 weeks to get them gone, contacted complaint department, to no avail. Owner lied and said I threw a box of lice at him, but I never meant him. He was very rude to my wife on phone. So I went to their Facebook page to read all reviews os same thing, and no accountability. This has been going on for a long time and it is not right///thank you for your time I have never filed a complaint ever and I travel for work all around the us… my kids missed several days of school, because of this,, lice Your Desired Resolution:

Comfortable beds great service.

Great breakfast half of the stars are from the breakfast. Compared to the many other best westerns I've stayed at the rooms are ok. The layout is bad but they are usually clean and everything normally works.

The shower speed working after a day had to take baths after that. The sheets and blankets were like sandpaper and the mattresses were lumpy, uneven and extremely firm. In another room we had the toilet didn't flush properly. Best western invest a little money in better sheets and blankets, Oh and hire a plumber.

One of the better Best Western's we've stayed in. Friendly staff, decent breakfast service and Wi-Fi was included. The room was very clean and updated. This appeared to be a newer hotel. Great price for the room and location. The only complaint I have is the air conditioner (wall unit) was very loud. Of course, most of the wall units across hotels are loud but for some reason this one seemed louder than average.

This is an older property that has been remodeled since some of the older reviews. Check in was quick and my room was clean. Bathroom was spotless and overall room decor was modern. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator which were not mentioned in the on-line room description. Big flat screen TV but only analog channels so big and fuzzy. The bed was a bit too hard to my liking but then I sleep on a waterbed at home. The hot breakfast buffet was better than most hotels in this price class with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy, oatmeal, and waffles. Coffee was pretty good, too. This hotel is in a good location near many chain and local restaurants. The hotel advertised an in-house restaurant so I decided to try it one night. Turns out you eat at the bar. Not sure if this was normal but the bar tender pulled double duty as cook. The fish sandwich I had was not that good but the salad was excellent. I needed a late check out and was granted it with no hassle. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel. $90 a night in high season in south Florida is about as good as it gets. Best Western seems to be trying to boost their image and it shows.

Absolutely the worst complimentary breakfast I've ever put in my mouth. Eas quoted one price on the phone and it was more when we arrived. Photos posted by owner are accurate. Small rooms but so far quality and atmosphere are not excellent, but acceptable. Details later.
