The room was as described, the staff was friendly, the free internet was great and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The television service is terrible, however, as the sound cut in and out every few seconds in our room. The TV service in the dining room was cutting out completely in the dining room. Though the stay was what we expected, a better TV service is necessary!

It's kinda of in the same plaza as Home Depot. Rooms are located outside of the building and although the roadways are close, you don't really hear the sound of the cars passing by. Breakfast was sub par but then again it was free. Room was nice and clean, almost like a 3 star hotel. Wouldn't mind staying there again next time I'm in Gainesville.

Reserved Baymont Inn and Suites online come to find out it is not Sweet… Stayed here with my family. Woke up at 2 am to a water leak from the room above us. Water pouring out the ceiling like a water park. Later I find out the Toilet above our room over flowed… Water was pouring out every crack or opening in the ceiling. Damaged my lap top, all of our clothes were soaked and the Manager said he can refund us for 1 nite. This hotel is not what it claims to be Wyndham had always represented nice clean hotels but this one need to be closed down and re built from the ground up. No one should stay here let alone with your Family. They should close it down it's condemed. Stay at your Own Risk! They Are Savage!

Great front desk service, clean breakfast area. Many breakfast choices. Rooms were clean.

They are fantastic! We were heading home and ran into bad weather… every hotel was charging high rates due to holiday weekend but not this place! We got a good price and big room to sleep 5 people! Super nice staff!

Five stars all day at this place there we're talkin one of the best continental breakfast is this side of the Mississippi Delta we're talking Shoney's buffet style continental breakfast hell I still take people there even if I got a room there or not and there lies the best thing of it all the free food.

Housekeeping great. Have compared this facility to others at the this exit. And better than them all. I work up here so have to stay in hotels. For price and amenities so worth it.

If I could give it a ZERO rating I would! Filthy! The sprinkler pic and light picture that are covered in dust and dirt is over the gross powdered eggs and breakfast. Pool was not usable to swim in at all! Black mold on all of the tile and the pool area was not clean. Hotel room door had a huge opening/crack that you could see through… poor management that would keep a place so filthy for people to stay for premium fees due to an event in town. Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else thats clean! Stay away from this hotel. You wont be happy.

Barbra and Lauren were the most nicest people in the whole entire world. And our housekeeper Margie was very sweet and gave us the best customer service of cleaning our room I hope that she gets shown the appreciation that all of these women have done for us. The room was perfect. If I could give you guys more than 5 stars I would. Yall made my first time to Florida one to remember. Customer service is bomb. Thank you guys. Breakfast was yummy same with the coffee. I will be here again in the future. Keep smiling ❤✌

The room, desk clerk and hot breakfast were very nice. Comfortable beds and pillows in a clean room. The layout getting to the room on the 3rd floor was a very scary but I am afraid if heights. The only negative was that the smoking section upstairs is right where all the guests have to walk through to get into the building which seemed to make some other guests angry. Overall it was a good stay, and we would return.

The hotel beds were very uncomfortable. If my husband turned over in bed the whole bed shook and woke me up. The AC made a loud noise all night while running. The front desk lady is not very friendly and doesn't seem to like her job or the role of customer service. She does not greet customers with a warm welcome, she makes you feel like you're bothering her when you're checking in. The speaker on the phone wasn't working apparently and the front desk lady was rude on the phone and blamed the customer for not talking when the customer was talking, the hotel phone just wasn't working. Instead of understanding the phone wasn't working the front desk lady again blamed the customer. I will never go to this hotel again.

Great overnight stop. Breakfast in the morning was good. The room was clean and they had a pack-n-play for my little one to sleep in. That was perfect for us! Great place for kids.

We've enjoyed our stay at Baymont Inn. The rooms are decent, you get a daily continental breakfast with food items that vary. The staff is awesome… so helpful and friendly. Comfy bed and pillows. All for a great price.

Was very unhappy. Room smelled of dog urine… pictures looked great but in person was different. I wish I could have looked at room before I paid, I would have left. I always enjoyed staying at Wyndham vacation resorts. This was embarrassing.

I stayed in a dog friendly room with two large dogs. The floor wasn't vacuumed before I checked in, but willing to let that pass as the rest of the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the woman at the check in desk was the nicest person I have ever experienced at a hotel.

The moment I entered the room I smelled a wonderful fragrance that lingered even the next day. Breakfast has lots of variety. We found they change it up at least week to week. Everything was delicious. Slept well in beds. One soft, one hard; great idea. Check in & out went smooth. Had giant bowl of prewrapped, little starlight mints.

Got the last room in the hotel driving back from my hurricane Irma evacuation the staff was phenomenal and took care of me also they had a breakfast Hot breakfast in the morning thanks to the staff for looking out of for all the evacuees during the hurricane season we had this summer we really appreciate you all.

The rooms we're quite spacious and very clean. The house keeping staff we're the stars of this establishment. They were informitave, fast and efficient, but most of all warm and inviting. They made you feel welcome unlike the front desk staff which worked like a lied machine. Fast and by the rules, but cold and unflexing.

Nice room. Comfortable beds. Friendly service. I really enjoyed the fact that the Rome was ceramic tile. Noisy a. C. Unit though.

The hotel met expectations for the price I paid for the room. Nice clean room. No thrills. A good place to stay if you're not looking for super amenities. The breakfast bar was decent and service staff were responsive to all requests.

I asked to cancel a 12 night pre paid res one hour after arrival and staff approved it with no change fees. Could have taken advantage of my situation as some other businesses probably would have but did not. Good people are here. Should note that this is during hotel prime time, there will be two home gator games during my stay in the city.

Stayed there for one night during a hurricane evacuation. They charged an extra $50 for 2 dogs, even though our party was booking 2 rooms. Their website says $10 per pet. The carpeting was dirty & sticky. The grounds were unkept, full of cigarette butts, garbage, & unmoved vegetation. The entire place needs to be remodeled. The only reason I gave 1 star is because the breakfast was good. There are many other better hotels in Gainesville.

The Jamaican lady at the front desk was very helpful and went out of her way when she was very busy to help me keep my kid safe during the hurricane. She is worth 5 stars but the rest of the hotel is only worth 1 star. The electrical outlet was pulled off the wall in our room. The carpet was soaking wet. Cable went out twice and the second time it never came back on. Cigatette. Everything smells like wet dog. Breakfast sausage was cold. My daughter got an apple juice from the vending machine and it was rotten and fermented. If it wasn't for that lady I would have given 1 star.

Not much of a suite. Looks as shabby as anywhere else. Would have been better to pay 50$ elsewhere since it'd been the same. Bed very uncomfortable. Poorly patched holes in wall. Sheets had stains. Water didn't drain well in shower. But the water was nice and hot.

Clean. Great check in. All helpful and friendly. Bed comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Average place to stay. Great breakfast. Best breakfast out of most of the hotels that I stay at. Hidden is good.

An older building but well kept. Rooms a bit smaller then expected. Check in was easy. When I first went in room it was clean. There are plenty of restaurants very close and the Oaks Mall is five minutes away. Pool area was also well kept. The breakfast is great. It is better then breakfast I have had in much more expensive hotels. If you need a room to stay in while you are in the area this is a good place.

Building appears to be kind of old and there isn't really anything really fancy about it, but nice overall. They have a pretty decent breakfast and a small outdoor pool. Andrea at the front desk is great!

The second star is only because the lobby is nice and they sprung for a waffle maker. However, the room was a huge disappointment. Very small, very dated. Front desk was not at all accomidating.

Got a cheaper rate for the "Grand Opening" was expecting better accommodations for the price. Bed was hard and my fiance woke up with his back in knots. Some spots on the floor felt like they might have been wet recently. Would have probably picked somewhere else to stay but it was late and the other hotels in the area were booked.

I only stayed for one night. The free Wi-Fi and breakfast were good.

The room and the breakfast were good. Nothing specials about the hotel but nothing bad either. I was satisfied for the price of the night.

Crooks. Charged one price at reservation and then on check in demanded $I0 for two double beds. This is an old trick crooked Hotel owners use especially via priceline. Obviously canceled the reservation and went to a different Hotel.

Quiet. Peaceful. Cozzy. And breakfast in the morning… Can't complain about that.

Breakfast was fine, bed comfortable. No hot water for shower or fan for bathroom. Not alot of sitting room in the dining area.

Middle of the road hotel, nothing special. The breakfast is free, but it is "egg-like food product"… not real eggs. Nobody there seems to particularly love their jobs. Overall, the place fills a need, isn't disgusting.

It was great it's nice to have motels with non smoking in the service was nice.

The bay mount inn and suites has great employees and nice rooms. With everything to be expected already in the rooms. The only downside is that the building looks a little ruff and could use a new paintjob almost everywhere.

Front desk young man was superb. Room was small yes but clean crisp, microwave, mini-refrigeration, free Wi-Fi even tho not mentioned on their Priceline write up, excellent hot breakfast. My negative was the rolls of toilet paper were too large lol. When a new roll of paper it rubs against the backup roll and difficult to unroll. You need to purchase smaller rolls lol I liked the two separate hangers for towels in the bathroom. His and hers! Unless she gets their first, then it's one for the hair and one for the body Dislike was the 11am checkout time. 11-12 is important for the customer. I asked at checkin and received an extension but believe checkout should be noon or advertise late checkout normally available upon request etc.

Great place for the price. Just needed a place to crash for the night. Hot breakfast served at 7am. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

My husband, our two small children and I checked in at 9 pm to get some sleep before heading to the beach. At 3 am the room phone starts ringing and of course we don't wake up in time to answer it… moments later someone is beating on our door, it was the front desk saying that we were due to check out at 11 the day before. My husband had to go to the lobby to clear everything up. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone the front desk help is completely incompetent. Everything could have been handled in the morning. This has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, I will never make this mistake again and I hope nobody else does either.

Got in at 3:30 am with 4 kids Concierge said breakfast lasted till 10:30 everyday got down there at 9:40 and they were packing up they said breakfast ended at 9:30 they asked us what we wanted then said they couldn't bring because it was wrapped up the service woman and super were rude and un accommodating. Also the elevator loudly operates all night the engine can be heard clearly through the walls.

Great customer service. The front entrance is a bit weird. I wasn't sure where the main entrance was. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms are updated. It's a little off the beaten path but overall pretty good.

It's not a 5 star resort, but it is clean, quieter, non-smoking, has a decent breakfast, and best of all, kind folks who run it. I was so surprised there were only 5 reviews of this hotel, and our experience was so exceptional, I just had to comment. Donald and Cameron, at the front desk, were so very kind to us when we had to make an emergency trip for an unexpected emergency surgery on a family member over the holidays. Gainesville was crowded, the hotels were full, we were exhausted, bewildered, overwhelmed, and in need. They were kind, went out of their way to make sure that our hotel experience wasn't adding to our stress, and very understanding. After spending one harried night at a hotel a little closer to the hospital, this was an oasis. Yes, this is a real review. And we are real people who are really grateful for the kindness and hospitality shown us. If you find yourself in Gainesville in need of a better affordable hotel with real people who care, stay here. Especially if you have to be near the hospitals for loved ones. It will make all the difference in your trip. If you don't believe me, spend a night somewhere else and then stay here. You'll appreciate the blessing that way. Our grandmother is in ICU at Shands hospital and stayed at this hotel. The staff was awesome and the hotel was spotless. We referred other family members there and will be going back to this hotel every time we have to make the 4 hour drive to visit our grandmother. Thank Baymont Inn for being so awesome.
