Such nice staff and we had a great night sleep. Thank you!

1. To improve this hotel could not assign a room that is not yet finished cleaning. THere were dirty towels in the bathroom.
2. I had requested extra towels and pillows when I used the mobile checkin which proved to be pointless.
3. The outlets next to the bed are loose and need fixed as you have to have the charger positioned just right to get a connection.
And this was all in the first 3 hours,

We checked into this location on 2/22/19 before a baseball game and thought our room was great! After the game and a late dinner we came back to get some rest… only to find that our bed smelled like urine. After further investigation we found that the sheets and mattress pad were SOAKED on one side. I had been laying in it.

We made reservations in January for Graduation weekend in May. Received confirmation for wrong dates. When we asked to speak to Manager, were told they would have him call us back. Never received a call back. We called 3 days in a row to talk to the manager and were never called back. Do Not book a room here.

The Property is very neat and tidy… They allow pets with a $100 nonrefundable pet fee… Complimentary breakfast at 6am weekdays. 7am weekend's An Applebee's within walking distance of the Hotel. Staff very friendly… a kitchenette in the room… alot of amenities.

I'm a big fan of the Towne Place Suites after staying with them almost exclusively over the last couple of years. For long term stays, or short stays, they are the best both in value for the price and guest service. The Gainesville property is well maintained, not perfect, but very close and the staff is awesome. I highly recommend this property.

Came in late and was able to book a room for a decent rate. Room was spacious and clean. Ate breakfast downstairs and was thoroughly satisfied before leaving shortly after.

We stayed two nights and found the staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and was perfect with a desk, kitchenette, and free Wi-Fi. The pool was clean and of decent size and not crowded. We had it basically to ourselves. Conveniently located with lots to eat and do and a Mall very close by (Oaks Mall) Nice Free breakfast was nice with typical items and waffle maker, eggs, and muffins. It is a congested area so traffic noise was present but that was the only negative to otherwise a nice visit. Will definitely return in future. Good job to all the wonderful staff.

Clean hotel, staff knows what they’re doing but it feels more rehearsed than genuine. Can’t give 5 stars for 2 reasons. 1. There’s one entrance and you have to drive out of the way to make any left hand turns. Wasn’t aware that Gainesville is New Jersey. 2. Again, more extended stay hotels advertising a kitchen, but there’s 2 burners, a bunch of unusable kitchen utensils (which I still can not understand why they’re dirty when I arrive… disgusting) and no oven. Instead of putting in 3 closets per room, why not skip a closet and add a stove for guests that come here to feed themselves versus eating at X franchise restaurant for the millionth time. IHG and Marriott are both lacking as of late.

Very nice hotel, especially for extended business stays. One young lady who works afternoons/early evenings at the front desk is especially nice. My daughters always look to see if she is there.

Horrible experience, bad customer service. The front desk girl Misteeka (I really don’t know how to spell her name because she didn’t have a tag on her) was very rude. She couldn’t find our reservation, later she was rolling her eyes because she said that our reservation was canceled under another customer name, after she finally found it, she said the room wasn’t ready and stead of apologize, she move us to the side to attend the next guess. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Bad customer service and corporate office does not care about guests opinions.

Drove in from Houston the room was nice & clean. The King size bed was on point. Stores and restaurants are close by. We will be back.

Overall, the room was clean. Front desk was friendly. Convenient to where I needed to be for work. Room was quiet, which is what I need when traveling for work. Bathroom was great. Only had 2 issues. I went to use the microwave to heat up my dinner, and ended up having to scrape out someone's crusted old nasty ramen out and cleaning the microwave. Super gross. And on a more amusing note, the curtains left 1 solid 6 inches at the bottom… so, sorry parking lot people for the views of my butt post-shower.

My boyfriend and I were in town for my step son’s baseball tournament and we stayed at the Marriott Town & Suites 3 nights, and I must say the staff is beyond amazing! I didn’t get her name, but the young lady that works the night shift was so pleasant and friendly and no matter how many times I came down to request something or ask for information she always responded with a smile on her face and always went the xtra mile! The rooms were immaculate, and the grounds kept spotless! Thank you all for making our stay so perfect!

This place is an amazing hotel! Brandy was exceptional. Her attention to detail and customer service is far beyond my expectations. The hotel was clean and quiet. It's an absolute must stay in the Gainesville area. Go Gators!

They tell you breakfast is until 10am but at 9.30 they refuse to serve more food even though there are still guests coming to eat… horrible service overall, room was dirty too. Yesterday asked for a late checkout and lady told us we can stay in the room until 3pm, now its 1pm and blowing our phone telling us checkout is at 12… I told the lady we asked for a late checkout and wont be leaving later than 3 and she said, so does that mean at 2? … all this on a very rude tone… not good Marriott, not good! First and last here.

This hotel is a wonderful gem in Gainesville, Fl. Right off the highway, convenient to the hospital, shopping and eateries and clean, clean, clean. An excellent value too! Everything you need at your fingertips — (sink, dishwasher, frig, coffee maker, two burner stove, utensils, dishes, drink ware, cookware and a microwave! ) They have the most helpful, happy staff I’ve seen anywhere in a long time. From the manager to the maintenance personnel — everyone was top notch on their job and went out of their way to be genuinely helpful and go the extra mile. Did I tell you — they also serve breakfast! You couldn’t find a nicer, cleaner place to stay. Enjoy!

I was recently in town to be seen at Shands. I usually stay at Residence Inn or a Hilton location but decided to try a new place. Check in was fine Brandy was very friendly and professional unfortunately the stay went downhill from there. When I got up to the second floor I noticed how dirty the doors and walls were. Once in my room it looked ok on first glance until I went in the bathroom. The bathroom was not clean the toilet and the shower where both gross. I had Lysol wi…pes with me so I wiped down the toilet and attempted to speak with management. After reporting the issues to the front desk I was told that the manger was to busy to speak with me. I needed to be at the hospital so I didn’t have the time to beg someone to speak with me. They sent up two housekeepers the first didn’t do anything the second did actually clean somewhat but again I was at the hospital so not everything was addressed. If your looking for a clean and sanitary room to stay at skip this location.
This stay and how everything was handled has me thinking Marriott May no longer be a brand I wanna give my business to.

This hotel was selected for our overnight stay in Gainesville because of its proximity to the Interstate. We were given a quiet room, satisfied with the furnishings, but missed our own pillows. Staff was friendly and quite accommodating to us. Rooms and grounds were clean and well-maintained. Morning breakfast was included but was NOT up to our desired standards. However many others were delighted with the pastries, we had hoped for fruit other than an apple or banana. Only cold hard boiled eggs. If you wanted something warm there was oatmeal or you could make a waffle.

First time at a Town place Suites although I use Marriott 95% of the time. VERY clean VERY nice. Husband was happy about included breakfast. We had a power outage due to lightning hitting a transformer nearby. Staff handled that smoothly. Only complaint… they only have 2 luggage carts… and for a hotel intended for longer stays… when you have more luggage than normal.

The room was very clean and tidy. All of the staff was kind and helpful as well. Good continental breakfast.

One of the best hotel stays I had in a long time. The room is very spacious and the check in clerk was awesome. The breakfast was ok, nothing hot other than oatmeal, but is was enough to get our day started. I will be staying here again when I return to Gainesville.

Beds were comfortable and the room was nicely cleaned when we arrived. There was a full kitchen set in the unit with fridge, microwave, dishes, and dishwasher and the breakfast service was consistent of the usual eggs and bread and juices and cereal. All the staff were very friendly and accomodating and all around it was a pleasant stay.

Friendly and accommodating lobby staff. Even though our room was near one of the exit doors the hall remained quiet. The room was large and clean. We'll definitely stay here again. Our only complaint was the breakfast could have been better.

I was pleasatly surprised to find a newer hotel in Gainesville. They are much needed in this college town. We were greeted with a pleasant smile and check in was expeditous. Nice kitchenette in room. Clean and comfortable. Although room window faced traffic, noise was not noticeable the later it got. I pray that this Marriott will maintain it's name at this branch. I had lost my taste for other branches in this college town.

Great place to stay. The room has very nice and convenient features. I will recommend to anyone visiting Gainesville for one night or an extended period.

Location is right off I-75, so it's easy to get to. Hotel is modern and clean. Staff was friendly. Rooms are spacious and the bed is soft. Housekeeping left chocolates after cleaning my room. Would definitely stay here again.

Usually when I book a hotel I make sure that it has everything operational however when I checked in here they told me that my reservation was canceled they gave me the wrong room and the pool was not in service. I come with three kids that always want to go swimming no matter how warm or cold. Not having an open pool and not having any answers on why the pool is closed and when they would have it operational. Taking a nice little weekend getaway for travel baseball team this is not how to satisfy your clientele I will never stay at this hotel or this Marriott town place suites again. Not recommended.

Honestly, this is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed. The rooms was clean and organized well. The bed and pillows were soft and clean. The staff were so much fun to talk to. They are willing to help you with anything and are always ready to lend a hand. I will be planning a return trip in the future.

BED BUGS! I've never been more disgusted in my life! I called the manager but of course they could do nothing. Didn't even offer to change our rooms let alone give us our refund! Never coming back. Absolutely terrible.

The room we stayed in was very clean. The staff was friendly and check in and check our was a breeze. I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful new hotel. I stayed at it last year right after it opened and even after a year it still feels brand new. The room is extremely clean and well kept. Tons of amenities and plenty of storage space. The rooms are a bit small but in the end it just feels cozy. Truly a fantastic place to stay.

This was a very nice hotel everything was on point we were greeted in a friendly manner and staff was awesome must visit again in the future.

Awesome hotel that truly makes you feel at home. Everything about it makes it feel homey. It does have a dorm style feel to it for a few rooms but I really like that for what it is used for. I'm here on a work assignment and it's perfect. And it's right down the street from a nice gym.

We were here n June for our sons district championships and the staff was amazing and took care of all the families needs. Fast forward to today when my truck broke down just a mile from the very same hotel, we walked in and were treated with smiles and taken care of. William and Ethen were great and the staff is just great. What a tremendous representation of the Marriott family — well done!

A pleasant overnight stay. Room was spacious and clean with a nice kitchenette and dining table. Our room had two comfortable twin beds but unfortunately the hotel could not accommodate our request for a folding bed for one of our kids. Breakfast was included and was simple but decent.

Large rooms and very accommodating staff. Breakfast wasn't too shabby for a hotel.

Very nice rooms, BUT, Yes theres a reason for the 2 star rating, my rooms microwave oven had a HAIR HANGING FROM THE TOP OF THE MICROWAVE TO BOTTOM, THE HAIR was about a FOOT LONG! IT managed its way on my FOOD! NASTY! Then the room upstairs must have been full of drunk college students or 5 year olds making TONS OF NOICE! wow! SOMEBODY Forgot to clean the microwave, yea right, it was put there on purpose. Thanks!

I love the hospitality and great staff. Beautiful, clean rooms. Minutes from campus. Wonderful trip. Can't wait to come back again. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Clean. Comfortable beds. Modern. Punk, sarcastic front desk guys. In two different occasions on the same week, I was given a room and upon walking inside the rooms were not ready for customers. Bad for business. Also, I accidentally forgot my flip flops and went back the next day to ask for them and they told me no one had see them. I know housekeepers keep many things left in the rooms, but come on! Breakfast could be better.
